Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on the discipline of praying the five daily prayers of students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program (PAI) of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) from the perspective of Islamic Religious Education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective. The research informants are UMS PAI students who actively play Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity was tested using source triangulation, technical triangulation, and member check. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the intensity of playing Mobile Legends in some students was quite high, characterized by the frequency of playing almost every day, playing duration between 1-6 hours per day, high focus of attention on the game, and strong emotional involvement. The high intensity of playing affects the discipline of praying the five daily prayers, especially in the form of delays in performing prayers, especially the Subuh and Isha prayers, there were even informants who had missed prayers because they were too focused on playing. Based on the behaviorism theory of B.F. According to B.F. Skinner, this behavior is formed through a process of stimulus, response, and reinforcement obtained during game play. From an Islamic Religious Education perspective, playing games is essentially permissible as long as it does not neglect religious obligations. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education students are expected to be able to control the intensity of their play and prioritize prayer.

Abstract

Fenomena yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah senioritas sebagai tradisi di lingkungan kampus dan bagaimana tindak lanjut yang semestinya dilakukan agar tradisi ini dapat berhenti di turun temurunkan. Akan tetapi, perspektif mahasiswa terhadap praktik senioritas ternyata bervariasi berbasis dari pengalaman, budaya organisasi di lingkungan kampus dan interaksi sehari hari yang dilestarikan antara senior terhadap junior. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam perspektif mahasiswa terhadap senioritas sebagai tradisi di dalam lingkungan kampus dan bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampaknya terhadap kehidupan mahasiswa junior baik dari segi akademik maupun sosial di kampus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form yang ditujukan kepada mahasiswa di lingkungan kampus. Responden dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa aktif dari berbagai program studi dan angkatan. Penganalisisan data dilakukan dengan cara deskriptif dengan mengelompokkan jawaban responden, kemudian dihitung dalam bentuk persentase untuk melihat kecenderungan perspektif mahasiswa terhadap senioritas di lingkungan kampus. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang telah mendapati praktik ini menilai bahwa praktik ini mengarah pada tindakan bullying verbal dan mengarah pada perploncoan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemahaman ulang terhadap nilai-nilai yang mendasari tradisi ini agar tidak menyimpang dari prinsip kemanusiaan dan nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Bus Wisata Kota Semarang program as an alternative stress relief for university students. The research focuses on strategiesemployed by the media planner, logistics/production team, and videographer to enhancestudent awareness and engagement. Data were collected through surveys, social mediaanalytics, and direct observation of events such as Roadshow to Campus, Car Free Day preevents,special holiday events, and theTreasure Hunt main event.Findings show that integrated offlineand online communication strategies, including collaboration with media partners,Instagram Ads, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), successfully increased student knowledgeand participation. Specifically, 84.2% of students answered mini-game questions correctlyduring campus roadshows, while social media engagement grew with 28 content posts,follower increase from 2,718 to 3,806, reach of 99,142, and an engagement rate rise from4.41% to 5.89%. The results indicate that a structured, consistent, and multimedia-basedcampaign can effectively promote the Bus Wisata Kota Semarang program, supportingstudents’ stress relief while strengthening public awareness of local tourism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perilaku konsumtif dan literasi keuangan terhadap hedonisme penggunaan QRIS pada mahasiswa Universitas Madura. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa sebagai responden dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil uji parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa perilaku konsumtif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hedonisme penggunaan QRIS dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000, sedangkan literasi keuangan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,002. Hasil uji simultan (uji F) menunjukkan bahwa perilaku konsumtif dan literasi keuangan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hedonisme penggunaan QRIS. Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa variabel perilaku konsumtif dan literasi keuangan mampu menjelaskan sebagian besar variasi hedonisme penggunaan QRIS, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingginya perilaku konsumtif mendorong penggunaan QRIS secara hedonis, sedangkan literasi keuangan berperan dalam menekan kecenderungan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan literasi keuangan menjadi penting untuk mendorong penggunaan pembayaran digital yang lebih bijak di kalangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the perspectives of students at private universities in the region towards online lectures. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method using google form with 140 respondents from various study programs. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics to describe or describe the data that has been collected. From the results that have been obtained, it can be seen that the constraints of students at private tertiary institutions in the regions have special characteristics, especially in internet connection. Most students live in areas with weak internet connections. This has an effect on the criteria for online media that are interested in private tertiary education institutions in the regions, namely using media that is efficient in quotas, does not need a strong network, and is easy to use.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent to which students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) program of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Semester 3 understand the purpose and function of Islamic education and how this affects their willingness to teach. This understanding is considered crucial because prospective Islamic education teachers must not only have academic knowledge but also be able to instill Islamic values in their students. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with a survey. PGMI students were given a questionnaire to collect primary data. The findings of the study show that most students understand the purpose and function of Islamic education. They also understand the relationship between the role of teachers as role models, the development of students' potential, and character building. Their desire to teach increases as a result of this strong understanding. This is seen in their lesson design, their direction, and the application of Islamic values in the classroom. In addition, this study shows that some students need guidance and practice to effectively apply the concept of Islamic education in the classroom.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the findings that show that students still lack the ability to solve problems, which can be seen from the tendency of students who are passive in answering questions from lecturers. The purpose of this research is to find out how the views or perspectives of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia regarding the application of problem-based learning methods in macroeconomics courses. The research was conducted using qualitative methods and interviews as a technique in collecting data. The results of this research show that students feel that their abilities are growing with the application of problem-based learning methods. For example, in personal abilities such as to improve problem solving skills and also in critical thinking. Then to improve interpersonal skills such as collaboration and interaction. In addition, there is an increase in the process of student reflection on a problem. Therefore, the problem-based learning method is very important to be applied and the support of educators is needed to streamline its application.

Abstract

This study examines the interest of Economics Education students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) in pursuing the teaching profession through the perspective of Rational Choice Theory. It analyzes the influence of salary, quality of work life, social prestige, recognition, and social welfare on students’ career preferences. The findings indicate that teachers’ salaries are perceived as inadequate, while the challenging yet satisfying nature of teaching remains a major attraction. The teaching profession also maintains respected social prestige, and students expect recognition and rewards for their dedication. Based on Rational Choice Theory, these factors significantly shape students’ interest in becoming teachers. Although salary is relatively low, positive work experiences, opportunities for self-development, social recognition, and professional dignity become important considerations in career decision-making. This study recommends several strategic actions, including increasing salaries in accordance with teachers’ contributions, creating supportive and conducive working environments, expanding professional development opportunities, strengthening recognition and achievement programs, and improving the public image of the teaching profession. These findings provide useful insights for educational institutions and policymakers in designing effective strategies to attract qualified students. Enhancing financial compensation, workplace quality, social recognition, and professional prestige may encourage more talented graduates to choose teaching as a long-term career successfully.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana layanan PayLater, terutama Shopee PayLater, jika ditinjau dari sudut pandang hukum Islam modern (fikih muamalah kontemporer), sekaligus melihat pengaruhnya terhadap kebiasaan belanja berlebihan di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan mengacu pada prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam, terutama konsep riba, gharar, dan maslahah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Shopee PayLater berpotensi mengandung unsur riba apabila terdapat tambahan pembayaran, bunga, atau denda keterlambatan yang menghasilkan keuntungan bagi penyedia layanan. Selain itu, unsur gharar dapat muncul apabila informasi mengenai biaya, tenor, mekanisme pembayaran, konsekuensi keterlambatan, dan ketentuan lainnya tidak disampaikan secara jelas dan transparan kepada pengguna. Dari sisi perilaku konsumen, kemudahan akses, proses transaksi yang cepat, penundaan pembayaran, serta berbagai promosi mendorong mahasiswa melakukan pembelian secara impulsif dan berlebihan. Perilaku tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal, seperti rendahnya pengendalian diri, keinginan memenuhi gaya hidup, dan dorongan emosional, serta faktor eksternal, seperti pengaruh teman sebaya, media sosial, influencer, dan program promosi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan PayLater perlu disertai literasi keuangan, pemahaman akad, dan kesadaran terhadap prinsip-prinsip ekonomi Islam. Mahasiswa perlu mempertimbangkan kebutuhan, kemampuan membayar, serta risiko transaksi agar penggunaan PayLater tetap bijak, bertanggung jawab, dan tidak menimbulkan dampak finansial yang merugikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun pada masa mendatang.
