Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning is carried out online. This makes the duties and roles of parents grow extra, because they have to be teachers as well as parents for their children. This study aims to describe the role of parents in guiding children in the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive study method. Data collection was carried out through a process of observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data will be declared valid in this study, after going through a triangulation test. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents at home for their children in the implementation of online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic includes the role of educators, motivators (providing learning motivation for children), learning facilitators for children, and mentors for various children's needs in the educational process. . Likewise, there are supporting and inhibiting factors for the role of parents, namely supporting factors including the availability of internet packages, adequate learning facilities, and learning supervision. While the inhibiting factors include busy time to earn a living, difficulty managing children's study time, children's playing activities outside the home.

Abstract

The role of parents is needed when students with special needs study from home. However, when accompanying children to learn online, parents find it difficult due to various factors. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze how difficult it is for parents to accompany elementary school children with special needs during online learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the population and the research sample are parents of elementary school students as many as 20 people. The data collection technique used in this research is a survey in the form of a questionnaire, observation notes, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in general the obstacles for parents in assisting children with special needs to study online at home during the Covid-19 pandemic are the lack of understanding of the material by parents, the difficulty of parents in growing their children's interest in learning, not having enough time to accompany their children because they have to work, parents are impatient in accompanying children while studying at home, parents have difficulties in operating gadgets, and obstacles related to internet service coverage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) pada anak usia dini di siswa siswi Paud Kenanga 02 Papanggo, Tj. Priok, Kota Jakarta Utara, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 14340. sebagai layanan pendidikan dimasa tanggap darurat covid-19. Persoalan yang akan dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan dan tahapan pembelajaran dalam jaringan selama pandemi Covid-19 di Paud Kenanga 02 Papanggo. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, guru kelompok A, dan orang tua dari kelompok A sejumlah 16 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengambiln sampeling diperoleh melalui wawancara yang mendalam dengan subjek penelitian yang dilanjutkan dengan observasi dan dokumentasi sebagai proses awal analisis. Selanjutnya, dianalisis dengan mereduksi dan mengklsifikasikan data. Setiap analisis dinarasikan secara deskriptif dan disimpulkan sesuai dengan pertanyaan rumusan masalahnya. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi, penerapan pembelajaran dalam jaringan selama pandemi Covid-19 di Paud Kenanga 02. Hasil dalam penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa dampak COVID-19 terhadap implementasi pembelajaran daring di sekolah dasar dapat terlaksanakan dengan cukup baik. Timbang dilakukan melaui tahapan tujuan, perencanaan, materi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pembelajaran dalam jaringan menggunakan aplikasi WhatsApp yang tergabung dalam WhatsApp Group kelas A. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan meliputi kegiatan pembukaan, kegiatan inti, teknik tampilan dan sharing ilmu. Dan yang terakhir tahapan evaluasi pembelajaran daring yang berisi penilaian terhadap hasil kegiatan anak yang dikirim melalui video, foto, dan voicenote dan digunakan sebagai dasar penilaian harian, mingguan, bulanan, dan akhir semester.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper reveals the role of parents in their children's learning through systems in the network in a covid pandemic 19. The purpose of this study is that the purpose of this study is to determine what roles and contributions have been made and can be done when their children carry out online learning activities. In addition, this research can also describe what is being faced by parents in the midst of a covid-19 pandemic in accompanying their children. The approach and method used in this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The findings obtained include the fact that parents face directly when accompanying their children to implement a learning system in the network, the child's response in learning in the network and the analysis of researchers using the theory of sociology. This study concludes the family in mentoring online learning in the covid-19 pandemic as the main spearhead in carrying out a role in encouraging children's enthusiasm for learning.Keywords: Roles, Parents, Online Learning,Technology, Covid 19, Education. AbstrakTulisan ini mengungkap peran orang tua dalam pembelajaran anaknya melalui sistem dalam jaringan di masa pandemi covid 19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran dan kontribusi apa saja yang telah dilakukan dan dapat dilakukan ketika anak anak-anak melakukan kegiatan belajar online. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dapat mendeskripsikan apa yang sedang dihadapi orang tua di tengah pandemi covid-19 dalam mendampingi anaknya. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Temuan yang diperoleh antara lain fakta bahwa orang tua berhadapan langsung saat mendampingi anaknya menerapkan sistem pembelajaran dalam jaringan, respon anak dalam pembelajaran dalam jaringan dan analisis peneliti menggunakan teori sosiologi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan keluarga dalam pendampingan pembelajaran online di masa pandemi covid-19 sebagai ujung tombak utama dalam menjalankan peran dalam mendorong semangat belajar anak.Kata kunci: Peran, Orang Tua, Pembelajaran Daring, Teknologi, Covid 19, Pendidikan.

Abstract

Background: The 2019 ongoing coronavirus disease around the world. One of the impacts is in the field of education. As a result, the learning process is carried out at home through online/distance learning. This study aimed to determine the relationship between online learning methods and the stress level of parents of children aged 7-9 years in the COVID-19 pandemic season at MI Da'watul Khoiriyah, Nambakan Hamlet, Ringinrejo District. Methods: This research design is cross-sectional. The sample size is 37 respondents using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using a nonparametric test in Spearman's nonparametric Statistic Test. Based on the study's results, it was found that most of the respondents (70.8%), as many as 26 online learning had good categories Results: Meanwhile, almost half of the respondents (48.6%), as many as 18 stress levels of parents of children have a mild stress category. The results of the Spearman's Rho Nonparametric statistical test obtained a p-value: 0.005 (a < 0.05) with r = 0.457 (sufficient intensity) with a positive direction, meaning that there is a relationship between online learning and the stress level of parents of children during the Covid-19 pandemic season in MI Da' Watul Khoiriyah Dusun Nambakan Ringinrejo. Conclusion: It is recommended that parents be able to reduce stress on themselves, make the right decisions, and build exemplary communication with their children to improve children's learning at home

Abstract

AbstractThe Covid-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of life, including education. For this reason, it is necessary for parents and students to work together to optimize the online learning process at home. This study aims to determine the self-efficacy of parents when helping elementary school children in doing online learning at home. This research is qualitative research approach with a descriptive quantitative analysis. The data collection method used a self-assessment questionnaire. The sample of this study was 150 parents of elementary school students, with various backgrounds and different school origins. Data were analyzed using percentage calculations. The scores were categorized by the scale and then described. The results of this study show that on average the parents of elementary school students, both in Indonesia and in the Philippines, have good motivation to help children learn from home. This can be seen from the data that the average motivation level of parents is in the good category (80.62%)Keywords: motivation, online learning, parents, self-efficacy. AbstrakPandemi Covid-19 telah mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Untuk itu diperlukan kerjasama orang tua dan siswa untuk membantu mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran online di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efikasi diri orang tua dalam membantu anak sekolah dasar dalam melakukan pembelajaran online di rumah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket self-assessment. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 75 orang tua siswa sekolah dasar, dengan berbagai latar belakang dan asal sekolah yang berbeda. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan perhitungan persentase. Skor dikategorikan berdasarkan skala kemudian dideskripsikan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata orang tua siswa SD baik di Indonesia maupun di Filipina memiliki motivasi yang baik untuk membantu anak belajar dari rumah. Hal ini terlihat dari data bahwa rata-rata tingkat motivasi orang tua sebesar berada dalam kategori baik (80,62%).Kata kunci: motivasi, pembelajaran online, orang tua, self-efikasi.

Abstract

Since before the outbreak of the corona virus, parents have an obligation to support their children's education in schools. The implementation of online learning as an effort to prevent the spread and transmission of this virus has made the role of parents even greater in the education of their children. The research is aimed at finding out how the behavior change communication program carried out by the government is implemented and what obstacles parents encounter in assisting their children to study at home. This is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The phenomenological approach was chosen because the researchers wanted to dig deeper into the experiences of the informants, especially related to assisting children in online learning. Data was collected by semi-structured interviews with 20 informants consisting of parents of students in grades 1 to 3 of elementary schools in Jakarta. The results of this study indicate that behavioral change communication carried out in order to change the behavior of parents so that they want to accompany their children to study from home is quite successful after going through the pre-contemplation, contemplation, preparation, action and maintenance stages.

Abstract

The existence of COVID-19 pandemic struck across the country in the world, including Indonesia has disrupted human activities in various sectors of life. Online learning can not be separated from internet networks. The internet network connection is one of the obstacles that the students live in the suburbs. The problem with online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is environmental incompatibility by changing old habits so that parents do various ways so that parents can provide positive behavior toward children. This paper focuses on a positive behavior model in parents as an essential part of online learning by children amid the uncertainty of the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. The method in this paper is a literature study or literature review on positive behavior with logical model analysis. The results show that the factors that influence parents' positive behavior towards children in online learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic must fulfill the elements of confidence, hope, optimism, resilience, and intelligence of parents in responding to online learning carried out by their parent’s children. In addition, social capital as an alternative strengthens parents' positive behavior towards children so that they feel comfortable with the presence of parents to accompany online learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the perception of parents and children about learning online during Pandemi Covid-19 in East Alok District. This research was conducted in Nangameting Village. RT 002 and Waioti Village RT 038 Alok Timur District. This study uses data collection techniques, descriptive qualitative methods with interview techniques with 68 respondents. The results of the interview of parents and children reveal that online learning is felt ineffective, namely children bored, the performance of children is affected, children do not understand the task, and material is inadequate. For reasons such as given by the teacher, children play and children who are not focused. In addition, parents must also accompany children in online learning. This was also stated by children who felt online learning was ineffective because they felt difficulties in understanding the material and tasks given by their teachers during the online learning process. Cannot meet directly with the teacher, too many tasks, and lack of knowledge about how to use applications.
