Abstract

This research is motivated by Vivo Vive Futsal, which schedules and orders the futsal field offline (having to come directly to the futsal field), this is still less effective and efficient. The purpose of this research is to create a web-based futsal field rental information system in vivo vive futsal. The results of this research are that this information system can solve problems such as providing the scheduling process and online futsal field rental without having to come directly to the futsal field.

Abstract

Difficulties in finding clinics within a certain area often occur everywhere, so a number of clinics cannot meet the needs of the surrounding community. A health service clinic is a place of practice that is more than one general practitioner or specialist who works in health services. The purpose of this study is to create a web-based Geographic Information System (WebGis) regarding the distribution of clinics, especially in Samarinda City. The benefits of WebGis can present the location and information about the clinic. The search field can also search for information based on the expertise of doctors, in the form of general practitioners or specialists.

Abstract

The constraints that exist in a system that is run manually, include the large amount of data that must be processed, the complexity in processing data, the limited time used in processing data, and various types of data. Likewise, in an office of the Plantation Service in East Kalimantan Province, processing correspondence is still done manually. This application uses a system by entering the type of letter to find a list of incoming and outgoing mail to make it easier for operators at the Plantation Service in East Kalimantan Province. In this program, the operator must enter first to access data from incoming messages and announcements. Therefore, this application is expected to improve the previous system and make work easier so that it can shorten the time so that work efficiency increases and makes it easier for operators to process data.Based on the results of observations in the form of an interview with an employee of the Data Information Service Center (PPID) at the Plantation Office of East Kalimantan Province, it was stated that there was no system or application. Correspondence services at the Plantation Office of East Kalimantan Province have been running well, but all processes are still manual and use a lot of paper. This application is also a form of concern for paper, where paper usage is starting to be reduced. All data and documentation are presented in digital or paperless form.Referring to the results of these observations, we need a web media capable of displaying correspondence with detailed information. With this web, it is expected to be useful for employees. In addition, it can assist the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Office in providing correspondence information.With the Correspondence Management Information System website, it is hoped that it will be useful for employees at the Plantation Office of East Kalimantan Province in processing letter data so that they can work effectively and efficiently in the process

Abstract

Utilization of Information Technology (IT) is able to produce good government management. The implementation of E-Finance continues to be developed by the Regional Finance Agency "BKD" in helping people make online tax payments and management through the website. COBIT 5 as a framework that focuses on control, not execution, so that it can optimize IT utilization, as well as ensure service delivery and measure against what can be done to answer future needs. This research focuses on one of the COBIT 5 domains in it, namely Monitor, Evaluate, and Assess (MEA). By utilizing the Domain MEA COBIT 5. The results of the calculation of the maturity level of IT management at Regional Finance Agency of Salatiga City have reached level 2 in the Capability Model table, namely Managed Process with the results of the gap analysis of each process is the GAP from MEA01 of 2.19, in MEA02 with GAP owned by 2.56 and MEA03 has a GAP of 2.46. In each process, the MEA domain from MEA01, MEA02, and MEA03 has been conducted, monitored, and evaluated on IT performance with reference to organizational policies (Niemann, 2010).

Abstract

The National and Political Unity Agency "KESBANGPOL" of Salatiga City is a government agency tasked with overseeing community activities in Salatiga City. In designing the information system architecture of the National Unity and Political Body "KESBANGPOL" of Salatiga City, the Enterprise Architecture Planning "EAP" methodology is used. Enterprise Architecture Planning "EAP" is a tool developed to build an enterprise architecture that harmonizes the three types of architecture in its development, namely data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture. Based on this research it was found that there was no adequate administrative information system. The condition of the computer network owned by The National and Political Unity Agency "KESBANGPOL" has 1 internet-connected to 1 server. 1 The server is connected to 2 Routers, where 2 Routers are connected to 23 PC Servers and also connected to 20 printers. Based on the application system architecture, the mapping process of infrastructure components can be carried out. These infrastructure facilities are still inadequate for The National and Political Unity Agency "KESBANGPOL" with community service activities in Salatiga City which are very dense, so it is necessary to add computer and PC networks in order to facilitate service activities.

Abstract

Based on the land use patterns in the years of 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2005 acquired with the spatial technology of geographic information system (GIS), this study takes Kitakyushu city in Japan as a case to analyze and forecast the dynamic change and transformation of various land use types. Firstly, we use the spatial distribution maps to describe the changes of area and spatial distribution of land use in the past 15 years, and then the dynamic change models are established to evaluate the changes of speed and intensity of land use. The results indicate that each land use type has changed remarkably as the urbanization, and that the land use intensity has been transferring from extensive type to intensive type. Finally, we develop a transfer matrix of Markov to track the mutual transformation processes among the land use types, and to forecast the change tendency of future land use. The forecasting results reveal that the urban land will keep increasing at a decelerated speed, and it will be a long process for land use intensity to reach to the urbanization level.

Abstract

Some rudimentary researches on the design of urban spatial information from the viewpoint of foreigners were performed through the case study of Saga City, Japan. By means of questionnaire survey, on-site investigation and route-searching experiment, the present condition, especially the problems of the urban spatial information for the behavior of foreigners were analyzed and grasped, and some principles of the design of urban spatial information considering the behavior of foreigners were proposed, which could be regarded as the extension of the concept of universal design. The results of the research can not only provide the basic data for the design and improvement of urban spatial information, but also can help to enlarge the concept of universal design by considering the factor of foreigners in wider fields.

Abstract

Measuring complexity of the dynamic system has become a common practice for describing spatial structural properties in the fields of urban geography and landscape ecology. In China, college campuses can be regarded as a kind of complex system since the campuses accommodate multiple functions, such as education, research, leisure, residence and so on. Considerably diversified human activities are daily performed in campus open spaces. How to characterize the distribution dynamics of daily activities calls for much attention of architects and planners. Nonetheless, the resultant dynamics of human activities is often irregular and patchy, giving rise to intricate distribution patterns that can be difficult to characterize. Herein, the issue of characterizing the temporal-spatial-categorial Diversity of Activity Distribution (DAD) in open spaces was addressed and a method of quantifying the complexity of patchy activity dynamics was proposed. The method was inspired by information-based measures of entropy, and the proposed Behavioral Entropy Index (BEI) can distinguish the distribution of activities in open spaces between simple (convergent) and complex (random) temporal-spatial-categorial mosaics. The method was demonstrated using sample data through a survey on two typical college campuses at Hangzhou City, China. The results show that the BEIs effectively illuminate the behavioral dynamics, rather than the conventional index of absolute population or simple percentage; moreover, proper facilities, natural environments and campus management all facilitate improving the behavioral complexity.

Abstract

This paper presents how much valuable data is freelyavailable from the Internet to be efficiently used together withthe interpretation of internet maps and 3D visualizations toanalyse geological hazard of some areas in the sense ofconceptual engineering geological model generation. Theexample presented here is of the Kazbegi Mountain area inGeorgia near the border with Russia. The area in question isfamous for abundant debris flows with some of them being verycatastrophic and associated with melting glaciers. There weretwo tragic events in the recent past in the Dariali Gorge east ofthe Mkinvartsveri (Kazbegi) peak in 2014. Using the internetinformation together with geological experience it can be easilyanticipated what may happen in the future within the area due toslope movement hazards. Dangerous areas possibly to beaffected by debris flow (mud flow) in the future may be definedand thus cost-effectively provide the first step to avoidconstructions in these areas to eliminate the loss of human livesand destruction of property

Abstract

The study was conducted to estimate factors affecting the information sources and communication channels that were used by pig farmers to access information about African Swine Fever (ASF) in Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam, and to determine the perception of pig farmers about ASF epidemic. The survey used the questionnaires to gather data from 150 pig farmers which was conducted in a purposive method and was analyzed by multiple logistic regression model. The respondents were pig farmers who had experienced at least one year and have been affected by ASF epidemic in raising or trading pigs and other activities of the value chain. The result showed that the decision to choose information from government extension worker as the main information resource was affected by gender, pig herd size, informal education, and formal education (p<0.01) while only gender and education affecting the choice of farming visit as their communication channel (p<0.01). When farmers can access to ASF information, they know how to anticipate the disease and deal with the outbreak. It was concluded that socio- demographic have affected the choice of information sources while only gender and formal education affected communication channels. Furthermore, when accessing information sources and communication channels, pig farmers had an awareness of basic information about ASF.
