Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second most common type of cancer worldwide, it is reaching 15% of all kind of cancer in women. There are several ways to diagnose cervical cancer, one of them is an MRI. One of the MRI sequences which can perform the pathology of cervical cancer is Diffusion-Weighted Image. The aim of this research is to find out the anatomical differences between axial slice image of Pelvic MRI which is using DWI sequence with the variation of b value in the case of cervical cancer, and also to reveal the optimal b value to obtain the image of Pelvic MRI which is using DWI sequence in the case of cervical cancer. The method of this research is experimental with the comparison of static groups. Data is 30 images of axial DWI Pelvic MRI from 10 patients in the case of cervical cancer with 3 different variations of b value, which are 600 s/mm2, 800 s/mm2, and 1000 s/mm2. Assessment of information image data done by the radiologist. Data analysis by Friedman and Wilcoxon Test. The result showed that there are differences of image information between axial Pelvic MRI which is using the DWI sequence with the variation of b value in the case of cervical cancer with a significant p-value less than 0.001. Differences in image information occur in the tumor, expansion of tumor, parametrium until the pelvic wall and lymph. The optimal use of b value for axial Pelvic MRI with DWI sequence in the case of cervical cancer is 600 s/mm2.

Abstract

The Research of this study was to determine the relationship of slice thickness to Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP) reconstructive image information and determine the exact slice thickness to the MIP processing of MSCT examination of Abdominal Angiography. Type of research is quantitative with an experimental approach, using a sample of 6 patients. Each patient performed a MIP reconstruction of the abdominal artery that is truncus coeliacs artery, gastric artery, hepatic artery, splenic artery, superior mesenteric artery, inferior mesenteric artery, renal artery, and communis iliac artery with variations in slice thickness of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mm. Correlation test results produce a P-value= 0.001 smaller than α= 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a relationship between slice thickness with image information on the MIP processing of abdominal arteries. Correlation coefficient value obtained is 0.593 so that the relationship obtained is moderate. The negative relationship is that the smaller the slice thickness, the diagnostic information on the abdominal artery is clearer, the greater the slice thickness, the diagnostic information generated is increasingly unclear. MIP reconstruction of the abdominal artery can produce clear image information on 5 mm and 10 mm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan eksplorasi perancangan. Metode yang digunakan pada pengembangan sistem informasi ini adalah dengan menggunakan FAST yang dimulai dari studi pendahuluan, analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan sistem, penyusunan perangkat lunak dan evaluasi sistem yang telah dirancang. Pendekatan untuk pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara maupun Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data dilakukan dengan melihat skor akhir penilaian responden terhadap kinerja sistem informasi yang telah dinilai responden. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan suatu sistem informasi tentang surveilens Kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB). Penyakit yang berbasis Geographic Information System (GIS), dan terpadu dengan basis data yang di entri berdasarkan formulir W2 di Puskesmas maupun Rumah Sakit. Informasi yang dihasilkan dapat menunjukkan adanya peta lokasi kejadian KLB disertai dengan indikator warna sebagai tanda peringatan yang meliputi hijau menandakan aman, kuning menandakan adanya tanda-tanda KLB, dan merah sebagai indikasi KLB Demam berdarah maupun penyakit lainnya. Sistem informasi juga dapat menampilkan analisis KLB yang telah terjadi, dan dilengkapi analisis deskriptif. Hasil Evaluasi sistem yang diperoleh memiliki kelebihan dibanding dengan pemantauan manual, dikarenakan sistem telah dikembangkan berbasis web, sehingga berfungsi secara multi user dan mempercepat kompilasi data, sehingga memudahkan pengguna untuk melakukan pemantauan kejadian Luar Biasa (KLB) Penyakit tertentu, termasuk demam berdarah.

Abstract

We present a progress report on the development of information system of lunar crescent astronomical observations which will be largely accessible for public domain. This consists of calculations of the Moon's ephemeris as well as systematic real-time lunar crescent observations. A well suited small telescope, equipped with a simple digital detector, is connected to a server to provide information on lunar crescent observations. The system has been used and worked well. The only constraint is poor weather condition. Network of small telescopes, installed at various locations in Indonesia, are currently planned to provide plethora of data. In the long term, this will be used to help to determine the astronomical visibility criteria of lunar crescent for Islamic calendar.

Abstract

This research is carried out to (1) identify whether graphic organizers can improve students’ reading comprehension; and (2) to describe the classroom situation when graphic organizers are employed in instructional process of reading comprehension. The research is adminisitered in two cycles 2014 in the second grade of SMP Muhamadiyah Sekampung, Lampung Timur. The procedure of the research consists of identifying the problem, planning the action, implementing the action, observing the action, and reflecting the result of the research. Qualitative data are collected through interview, observation, questionnaire, and research diary. Quantitative data are collected through test. To analyze qualitative data, the researcher used constant comparative method. It consists of four steps: (1) comparing incidents applicable to each category; (2) Integrating categories and their properties; (3) delimiting the theory; (4) Writing the theory. Meanwhile, to analyze quantitative data, the researcher employed descriptive statistic.    The result of the research shows that using graphic organizers can improve students’ reading comprehension and classroom situation. The improvement on students’ reading comprehension is students are able to find explicit information in a text. The improvement of the classroom situation; (a) students come on time in the class (b) students are more motivated to join the class (c) Students pay more attention in the instructional process. In addition, the improvement also happens to the scores. The mean score increases from 57.56 in the pre-test, 63.34 in the formative test of cycle 1, and 69.56 in the post test of cycle 2

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills (HOTS) must be stimulated early in learning at school. One way is by implementing task-based learning. As a best practice, the implementation of this learning model aimed to involve students in tasks that require the use of various levels of thinking to produce real learning products (outcomes). Learning English class IX semester 2 in class 9G SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari 2018/2019 academic year on information report text material with task-based learning had succeeded in providing learning experiences to students in understanding the concept of information report text, making a summary of the results of reading references in the form of mindmapping, compiling presentation materials and presentation notes, making presentations both as presenter and audience. The entire learning process was directed to use the target language and involved communication and collaboration activities in developing thinking skills from the lowest to the highest levels. Best practice results showed that this learning practice was able to stimulate thinking skills and at the same time improve students' communication and collaboration skills. The low mastery of studnets’ functional expressions is a weakness that hinders the continuity of presentations. Therefore, the role of teacher as a solution provider is still needed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (KBTT) peserta didik dalam pembelajaran teks information report melalui Formative Assessment with Reasoning (FAR) Worksheet di kelas IXE SMP Negeri 1 Wonosari pada semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus. Siklus 1 terdiri dari 3 pertemuan dan Siklus 2 terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Tahapan penelitian meliputi merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengamati, dan merefleksi. Data penelitian ini diambil melalui tes, angket dan pengamatan proses pembelajaran. Hasil tes dan angket diolah, dicari reratanya dan kemudian dibandingkan dengan indikator keberhasilan. Data hasil pengamatan diolah dengan melakukan pencacahan terhadap hasil pengamatan kegiatan guru dan peserta didik. Hasil pencacahan dikonversi dalam kategori “Sangat Rendah”, “Rendah”, “Tinggi” dan “Sangat Tinggi”. Hasil penelitian adalah meningkatnya KBTT peserta didik yang ditunjukkan dengan kenaikan rerata hasil tes dan angket. Perbandingan rerata nilai tes awal, tes akhir Siklus 1, dan tes akhir Siklus 2 adalah 51,7:46,4:68,5. Indikator keberhasilan berdasarkan hasil tes terpenuhi dengan diperolehnya kenaikan sebesar 22,1. Perbandingan rerata persentase peserta didik menjawab “Yakin” dan “Sangat Yakin” pada pernyataan 4, 5, dan 6 yang merupakan konfirmasi kemampuan peserta didik dalam mengerjakan soal tipe C4, C5, dan C6 yang mewakili keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi level analyzing, evaluating, dan creating pada Siklus 1 dan Siklus 2 adalah 23,61% dan 30,43%. Indikator keberhasilan berdasarkan hasil angket terpenuhi dengan diperolehnya kenaikan sebesar 6,82%. Kualitas proses pembelajaran meningkat menjadi “HIGH” berdasarkan hasil pengamatan.

Abstract

Currently, information has become a commodity or basic need, it can even be said that we are already in an "information-based social" era. It is undeniable that the ability to access and ensure the availability of information quickly and accurately has become a very essential component for an organization, whether in the form of social or commercial organizations, educational institutions such as universities, government agencies, and individuals. Various channels were created to regulate access rights to information, to prevent unauthorized people from accessing it, to minimize losses for the owner of the information. Based on the results of interviews with the research object of XX college, there are still frequent disruptions to information system security such as attacks on servers that result in server downtime, attacks on institutional e-mails that result in being unable to receive or even send e-mails, and other disturbances. This certainly harms information services at the tertiary institution, therefore an information system security audit is required. This study aims to measure the level of information system security capabilities using the Cobit 5 framework in the APO13 and DSS05 domains. Based on the results of the audit, it was found that the GAP value was 3.6 for the APO13 domain or at level 1 while 3.4 for the GAP DSS05 value or at level 2, it can be concluded that the information system security maturity level is still very low so that it needs improvement. It is recommended to make SOPs and documentation of maintenance, control, and periodic security evaluation, install an antivirus that has high and up to date protection accuracy, and make regular maintenance reports both on software and hardware.

Abstract

One way to establish forest conservation is by improving the welfare of the community residing at the forests’ borders. Beekeeping has the potential to increase the income of the people around the forest. This study aims to delineate beekeeping zones bordering the forest regions. Multi-criteria analysis based geographic information system was used to delineate the ecologically suitable areas for honey bees. The parameters used included physical parameters (temperature, rainfall, distance from water source and altitude), economic parameters (distance from the roads and distance from the market) and social parameters (land use and distance from settlements). The parameters were weighed by applying analytical hierarchy process. The result was then inputted into a spatial model designed to determine the ecological suitability for honeybees. The suitable land for bees’ forages was delineated using land suitability analysis with maximum limitation method. The results of both analyses were then overlaid to delineate suitable areas for beekeeping. The analysis resulted in locating recommended areas for the cultivation of honey bees and forages around the forest periphery, by taken into account official spatial land use planning.Key words: Habitat suitability, land suitability, bee forage, land use planning

Abstract

Mistletoe is hemiparasitic plants (macroparasite) on seasonal and annual plants include trees, however, mistletoes are also beneficial as key species that fill in the ecological niche, and a potential to non-wood forest product such as medicinal plants as one of them. The objectives of this research are to identify species of teak mistletoes at Padangan Clonal Seed Orchard (CSO) in Perum Perhutani and to aim its posibilities as medicinal plant. The inventory methods on species of teak mistletoes was carried out in compartements/blocks of teak clones that are designated as Observation Sample Plots (OSPs/PCP) of the attack intensity from low, medium, high, control; and four units Observation Measurement Plots (OMPs/PUP) on each OSPs/PCP. Continously, it was analized by comparing the same species of mistletoes on other host trees as reference which was efficacious to be used as medicinal plant. Three species of mistletoes parasitizing teak clone stands were identified as Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq. of family of Loranthaceae which is also attacking other host trees, Macrosolen tetragonus (Blume) Miq. of family of Loranthaceae too, Viscum articulatum Burm. F. of family of Santalacea/Viscaceae that is hyperparasite on two other mistletoes. The comparison with the same teak mistletoe but on different host trees shows that including D. pentandra and V. articulatum have the potential for hypertension treatment. D. pentandra is used too for medicine to cure ilness, wounds, fester and recovery from parturition. Known that chemical content this mistletoe comprise of flavonoid ingrident, fenolat acid (terulat acid, para hidroksi benzoate acid, kumarat acid, protokatekuat acid and vanilat acid. As for the utilization of M. tetragonus hasn’t been discovered up to this moment.Key words: mistletoe, identification, teak clone, non-wood forest product, medicinal plant
