Abstract

Abstract— Indonesia as an archipelagic country has a strategic geographical location, which is located between two continents and two oceans so that it has many advantages, especially in the maritime sector. Indonesia has a goal of becoming a World Maritime Axis that is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of services based on UNCLO S 1982. One way to achieve this goal is to process Big Data to produce useful maritime information . Data can be obtained from government agencies and international organizations and processed according to big data analytics so that it can be visualized information that can be used by various related parties. The collected data can be clustered using the K-Means algorithm with the aim of dividing the data into several groups. This is especially useful for supporting Indonesia based on UNCLOS 1982 by providing information and ensuring the safety of Indonesian waters and being able to contribute to the Indonesian economy.

Abstract

The main problem of this study is it effective to teach reading narrative text through information transfer technique to the eight grade students of PGRI 1 Junior High School of Palembang? The objective of this study was to find out whether or not it is effective teaching reading narrative text through information transfer technique to the eight grade students of of PGRI 1 Junior High School of Palembang? The population of this study was the eighth grade students of of PGRI 1 Junior High School of Palembang in the academic years of 2020/2021 which contain 128 students, 32 students as the sample by using cluster random sampling. The method of this research was poor-experimental method and the data were collected through multiple choice. The result of this study showed that students’ average score in the post-test was better than the students’ average score in pre-test. The students’ average score in the pre-test was 38.14, it increased after being given the treatment using information transfer technique the students’ average score in the post-test 61.34 and t-obtained was 5.54, since t-obtained was higher than its critical value, which is (1.684), the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Therefore, it could be assumed that it was effective to teach reading narrative texts through Information Transfer Technique to the eight grade students of PGRI 1 Junior High School of Palembang.

Abstract

East Nusa Tenggara Province is the second-highest province with the percentage of pregnant women having HBsAg reactive (5,26%) and has the lowest screening coverage (4,55%). Increasing the mother’s screening coverage is necessary, followed by increasing access to therapy and early infant detection. A positive attitude should exist to increase the mother’s behavior for assessing triple elimination testing, thus can reduce the transmission risk of Hepatitis B, Syphilis, and HIV-AIDS to the infants. This research analyzed the relationship between knowledge, family support, and information frequency with the mother’s triple elimination testing attitude. This research was an analytical study using the cross-sectional method, conducted at four primary health centres in Kupang city in 2020. The sample selection used a stratified random sampling method, with 110 pregnant women from the four PHC chosen. Data analysis used Chi-square. Results showed only 36,7% of respondents had good triple elimination knowledge, and 33,9% have insufficient knowledge. Most respondents (64%) have a neutral perception, and 27% have a positive perception of family (husband’s) support. 79% of respondents receive scarce information about triple elimination. Respondent’s attitude primarily neutral (61%). However, 23% still have a negative attitude towards triple elimination testing. There is a significant relationship between perception of family support and attitude towards triple elimination testing (p < 0.001). The mother having a positive perception of their husband’s support, also have a positive attitude toward triple elimination testing. Knowledge level and information frequency showed no significant relationship (p = 0.941 and p = 0.093) with mother’s attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to create a web-based debtor information system at PT. PNM Pematangsiantar Branch. The design and manufacture are intended to facilitate debtor data management. So that employees can easily enter debtor data without having to write it conventionally. Using conventional methods has a negative impact. One of the negative effects of the system that is still in use is data search, data retrieval will take time because you have to open documents one by one. In addition to data search, data collection on prospective debtors wishing to establish a working relationship with companies is also a negative impact from conventional methods. With this application, it is hoped that the processing and data collection of debtor data will be faster and more accurate. The information system to be designed will be in the form of a web and use a MySQL database. It is hoped that this research can solve the problem of debtor information systems at PT.PNM Pematangsiantar Branch.

Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic cases are currently increasing and expanding throughout the world, especially in Indonesia in the province of North Sumatra. Data on the number of cases spread in the province of North Sumatra which is summarized and published, sometimes there are still disputes over the number and lack of organization in the number of records and their distribution, so there are often errors in the data collected by the health department and which will be published to the public. The case study in this research is the design of an information system that regulates the process of recording, moving, accumulating, and mapping GIS data maps to the publication of Positive case data, Patient Under Surveillance, Polymerase Chain Reaction, and Rapid Test results directly through a web-based covid-19 data reporting application. Sourced from each user of every health facility in each district and city from each sub-district in the province of North Sumatra to support the accuracy of data in decision-making built at the North Sumatra Province Information and Communication Office. The method used in developing the application uses the waterfall method, starting from the needs analysis stage, design, implementation to testing until maintenance. The results of the implementation and testing were carried out using the Blackbox and Whitebox methods. Presentation of GIS web data using google maps has not used a threshold value based on a calculated algorithm, but still uses the determination of crisp values so that the results cannot be said to be relevant as a determinant.
