Abstract

The Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) model has been widely used in time series forecasting especially with asymmetric volatility data. As the generalization of autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity model, GARCH is known to be more flexible to lag structures. Some enhancements of GARCH models were introduced in literatures, among themare Exponential GARCH (EGARCH), Threshold GARCH (TGARCH) and Asymmetric Power GARCH (APGARCH) models. This paper aims to compare the performance of the three enhancements of the asymmetric volatility models by means of applying the three models to estimate real daily stock return volatility data. The presence of leverage effects in empirical series is investigated. Based on the value of Akaike information and Schwarz criterions, the result showed that the best forecasting model for our daily stock return data is the APARCH model

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe development of technology and information in this era has made information and science inevitably overflow through social media. This situation is supported by the development of technology such as the existence of computers and internet networks in private, thus makes everyone can easily access information in anywhere and anytime. Nonetheless, information is considered a need for those who relies it in daily life, especially college students. Therefore, it is important to develop ability to find and sort information or scientific reference sources and critical thinking disposition ability to see whether the information is what we really want. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between critical thinking disposition and information literacy among students on social media. The sampling technique uses random sampling techniques. The research subjects were 18-24 year old students totaling 269 student. The data was collected using critical thinking disposition scale consisting of 3 aspects which were stated by Ricketts and Rudd namely engagement, cognitive maturity, and innovativeness with 23 items and information literacy scale with 13 items. Test analysis using correlation test and the results show there is a significant relationship of critical thinking disposition and information literacy among students on social media with results (0.00 <0.05).Critical thinking disposition, information literacy.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSAl Qur’an merupakan kitab suci umat islam yang dijadikan pedoman kehidupan umat islam. Al Qur’an terbagi kedalam beberapa surah dan setiap surah terbagi kedalam beberapa ayat. Proses pencarian surah atau ayat-ayat al-qur’an yang dilakukan masih bersifat konvensional dengan cara melihat kehalaman belakang al qur’an dan terjemahan untuk mengetahui konteks tema yang sesuai kemudian membuka surah dan ayat yang dicari di al qur’an, mengingat tidak sedikitnya surah dan ayat-ayat yang sesuai dengan konteks temanya dan membutuhkan waktu untuk melakukan pencarian surah atau ayat-ayat al qur’an. Peran teknologi memberikan sebuah perubahan dan memberikan kemudahan dalam memberikan informasi dalam bentuk digital. Artificial Intelligence (AI) dapat digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari melalui aplikasi mobile yang praktis. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi (study case) dengan cara mengumpulkan informasi-informasi yang berkaitan dengan penelitain dengan berbagai prosedur, guna mendapatkan hasil blue print sistem dan user requirements specification secara detail. Pengembangan aplikasi pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Scrum yaitu sebuah framework yang digunakan untuk mengakomodir problem yang kompleks dan adaptif dengan menghasilkan produk yang memiliki value tinggi secara produktif dan kreatif. Penerapan aplikasi mobile yang berbasis android yang memanfaatkan artificial intelligence dengan menggunakan Dialogflow dalam proses pencaian surah atau ayat-ayat al-qur’an berdasarkan konteks tema memberikan kemudahan dalam mendapatkan informasi yang dicari.

Abstract

This study adapted DeLone & McLean information system success model (D&M IS success model) regarding the implementation of learning management system (LMS) during Covid-19. Six variables are included; system quality, information quality, service quality, system usage, user satisfaction, and net benefits with 23 initial items. A total of 279 undergraduate students from a public university in Indonesia participated in this study. The factor structure of the instrument was investigated using a survey design. The survey data were calculated using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Six variables emerged from the EFA methods, establishing a valid and reliable model; a few items were eliminated due to cross-loading. The suggested model was successfully mapped as a consequence of the results. The CFA confirmed that the instrument was suitable for the Indonesian setting. The findings led to the development of 19 reliable and valid items. The measured scale has psychometric qualities, allowing for future research with a tool to capture D & M IS success model technology integration.

Abstract

One form of information technology management for UMKM in order to expand business networks, marketing and carrying out business processes is the use of the Cobit 5 framework. The benefits and maturity level of IT management are benchmarks for the direction of development and utilization strategies for UMKM. The purpose of this study was to assess the position of Kasasiur Banjar SMEs regarding implementation and targets to be achieved in the future. The result of the assessment is the maturity level of the current IT management position (existing). Furthermore, maturity targets will be determined for each selected IT process to be used as guidelines for the Kasasiur Banjar UMKM group in IT utilization. Maturity level assessment uses the domains EDM3, EDM4, APO7, DSS3, DSS6, and MEA1 with the calculation model referring to ISO/IEC 15504. Assessment results Maturity level related to IT development strategy is at level 1 (1.21), which is Performed. This means that Kasasiur Banjar SMEs have a concern for good IT management and processes have been implemented and achieved goals. The direction of governance development in UMKM Kasasiur Banjar is targeted to reach level 5, namely Optimizing.

Abstract

There has been a rapid development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) globally, and ICT have been used as a tool to attain environment sustainability all over the world. There are diverse environmental challenges faced by developing countries such as ecosystem deterioration, pollution, resource depletion, loss of biodiversity and climate change and the management of above problems is difficult because they involve multiple actors and its occurrence is over time and space. Environmental Scientists have raised concerns on how these environmental challenges can be tackled bringing into lamplight, how ICT and environmental science research can be used to wedge these challenges in developing countries. The study is exploratory and employed the use of survey questionnaires as an instrument to collect data. Findings revealed that a lot needs to be done for ICT to be effectively used in the environment, factors such as inadequate facilities, problem of acceptance and adaptation of technology, lack of awareness and illiteracy, mismanagement, lack of technical know-how and unstable internet service are challenges that should be looked at to leverage ICT in the environment. The study also noted the fact that ICT has affected the society and its environments in other negative ways such as the production of unwanted by-products called pollution and depletion of natural resources.

Abstract

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), it certainly has a big impact on very significant changes in various fields. Hospitals are health service institutions that provide complete individual health services that provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services. emergency. Until now, the registration system for Coronavirus patients at the Tangerang Regency Hospital has not been maximized and has not displayed inpatient rooms for Coronavirus patients. The problem that occurs in the Coronavirus patient registration system at the Tangerang Regency Hospital is that it is not yet computerized or web-based because the Coronavirus patient registration process is still using the Microsoft Excel application, patient data processing is still conventional and the list of Coronavirus patients has not been detailed, patients who have already registered, it turns out that there are no inpatient rooms available so that many Coronavirus patients are slow to be helped. The aim of the research is to build a fast and accurate Coronavirus patient registration system. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of this study are in the form of software, namely a web-based Coronavirus patient registration system that can display detailed information on Coronavirus patient registration and Hospital location maps.

Abstract

Data is an important thing as a base of an analytic or a hypothesis for concluding participant vote data in the Indonesian General Election. The data needs to be processed and secured, so the integrity of the data is in good condition. It also needs to protect the participant voting rights, so the information is correctly displayed. The research problems include creating a system that protects the integrity of election data and creating a system that protects election rights for each voter. Based on the problems, this research discusses a blockchain-based electronic voting information system that would secure the integrity of data and also protecting the participant voting rights in a General Election. The system uses Ethereum as a blockchain with Solidity as a programming language to build a smart contract and is built in Microsoft Windows platform. In this research, consortium blockchain and biometric fingerprint authentication are used as a problem-solving method, and waterfall steps is used as a system development method. The result of this research is a proposed design of the e-voting system. The conclusion based on this research is a blockchain-based e-voting system that secures the integrity of the data in a selection process and ensures protection to each vote right. Abstract

One of the data in the industrial process is information on shipping goods in a distribution warehouse. This study proposes a web-based freight information system in a distribution warehouse with a barcode system as the naming management of goods. The barcode reading system uses a barcode scanner as a barcode label reader, with an Arduino microcontroller device and NodeMCU as a controller and communication device with the web. The localhost web-based information system was built using the XAMPP application. Display information system using a simple display on the browser page. The results obtained in this study have successfully built a barcode-based goods delivery management system, information about the goods is coded into a barcode. The barcode reading system has successfully read and communicated with the web, with experiments conducted using 100 barcode labels, the success of reading and sending data has shown good results. Goods delivery information system in a web-based distribution warehouse has also been successfully built with an average data storage time of 5.5 seconds.Salah satu data dalam proses industri yaitu informasi pengiriman barang di gudang distribusi. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sebuah sistem informasi pengiriman barang berbasis web di sebuah gudang distribusi dengan sistem barcode sebagai manajemen penamaan barang. Sistem pembacaan barcode menggunakan barcode scanner sebagai pembaca label barcode, dengan perangkat mikrokontroler Arduino dan NodeMCU sebagai perangkat kontroler dan komunikasi dengan web. Sistem informasi berbasis web localhost dibangun menggunakan aplikasi XAMPP. Tampilan sistem informasi menggunakan tampilan sederhana di halaman browser. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini adalah telah berhasil dibangun sistem manajemen pengiriman barang berbasis barcode, informasi mengenai barang dikodekan kedalam bentuk barcode. Sistem pembacaan barcode telah berhasil membaca dan berkomunikasi dengan web, dengan percobaan yang dilakukan menggunakan 100 label barcode keberhasilan pembacaan dan pengiriman data telah menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Sistem informasi pengiriman barang di gudang distribusi berbasis web telah berhasil pula dibangun dengan lama penyimpanan data rata – rata 5,5 detik.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) consists of processes that produce and handle information during the life cycle of a building. BIM may also be a technique involving the development and management of digital representations of a building or facility’s physical and useful features. In 2D BIM software package programs, the paper explains the three-dimensional (3D) modeling of the project and the multidimensional (4D) modeling using another BIM viewer. Revit model is created based on primary data that visualizes the bridge. For analysis, dead load and moving load are considered. From the result analysis of the structure, an approach is provided to repair the Bridge using BIM. As per IRC: SP -40 (Guidelines for techniques for strengthening and rehabilitation of bridges). This paper is an attempt to build a model that could demonstrate the use of BIM for bridge rehabilitation.
