Abstract

Increasing technological developments make the use of technology in the world alsoincrease and have a good or bad impact on the security of information that exists in cyberspace, this existing information security can be spread and accessed by irresponsible people by taking advantage of security gaps from every information media that exist in cyberspace, one of the gaps that allows for crimes to occur by utilizing unofficial applications where the application offers more attractive features so that users want to use the application. Applications that are widely used include the type of social chat network, where in this case the theme of WhatsApp mod users is raised, where the WhatsApp mod offers several features that do not exist in the official WhatsApp application on the Android platform. This can be one of the gaps where application development is not carried out officially, where data and information disseminated through the WhatsApp mod communication media cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, this research is expected to provide a percentage value related to the level of awareness of WhatsApp users which can be used as learning related to existing information security by paying attention to the results of static analysis related to security holes in the WhatsApp mod application.

Abstract

This research aimed to design a webinar platform that can help the deaf understand information while attending online seminars using sign language interpreter features. That way, the deaf will have no difficulty understanding the material being delivered by the speaker. This research method used descriptive methods to describe the problems faced by deaf webinar participants, where the difficulty met when attending online seminars using webinar media. In general, webinar applications lack sign language interpreting features, confusing webinar participants with hearing loss in understanding what the speaker is talking about. This webinar platform can display sign language translators according to the sentences spoken by the speaker. These study results are expected to help create a webinar platform with features that make it easier for participants with hearing disabilities to understand the material quickly.

Abstract

The DAMRI bus or Djawatan Angkoetan Motor Republic Indonesia is one of the mainstays of public transportation for residents in the Bandung area with relatively low costs for the facilities with varied travel routes. The existence of this DAMRI bus is able to help increase the productivity of the community to fulfil needs. However, any of these advantages can be difficult for users of the bus service to obtain due to waiting for a bus for a long time. This is because the number of routes is not as many as other public transportation and there is a lack of information about the bus schedule for each route, so that service users can only guess the arrival time of the bus. This design is carried out by the observation method of collecting data on the experience of DAMRI bus service users through questionnaires, website-based software development methods, and literature reviews. The purpose of this design is to provide convenience to customers in accessing information on DAMRI Bus transportation through their smartphones or computers. The result of this design is a media route schedule information, routes, and costs of each route for users with a minimalist design and easy to understand is also used.

Abstract

The introduction of new technology and computational power enables more data usages in a city. Such a city is called a smart city that records more data related to daily life activities and analyzes them to provide better services. Such data acquisition and analysis must be conducted quickly to support real-time information sharing and support other decision-making processes. Among such services, an information system is used to predict the air quality to ensure people's health in the city. The objective of this study is to compare various machine learning techniques (e.g., random forest, decision tree, neural network, naïve Bayes, etc.) when predicting the air quality in a city. For the comparison, we perform the removal of records with empty values, data division into training and testing datasets, and application of the k-fold cross-validation method. Numerical experiments are performed using a given online dataset. The results show that the three best methods are random forest, Gradient Boosting, and k-nearest neighbors with precision, recall, and f1-score values more than 0.63.

Abstract

Currently, Japan is rapidly aging. Japanese government agencies report that the percentage of elderly people whose ages are at least 65 years will increase by up to about 30 percent in 2025. As one of the measures towards this situation, the community-based integrated healthcare system will be introduced in Japan. The system aims to provide elderly people living at home with appropriate health, medical, and welfare services. We focus on the burden of sharing information on the situation of the elderly at home among health, medical, welfare staffs, and neighbors. We have been developing a supporting system for sharing information on the situation of the elderly at home and conducted a field test around one year. We consider that various stakeholders involved in the community comprehensive health care system could recognize the importance of information sharing and collaboration with them through this kind of social implementation

Abstract

The very rapid development of technology helps a lot in terms of disseminating information to be faster, more accurate, and not limited by place and time. Technology in the tourism sector is not only used as a promotional medium, but technology is also a learning medium for entrepreneurs in the tourism sector so it is important for the tourism sector to have an information system as a medium for disseminating information. The Jambi City Tourism Information System is an information system that contains a collection of information data that summarizes information about the region, province or tourism place in the city of Jambi which is compiled in a web-based information system, with this information system it can make it easier for the public to obtain information, accelerating the service of information sources. The design of the tourism information system in the city of Jambi is built in a web-based form with system design assisted by several tools such as the programming language PHP, Javascript, MySQL, Xampp, and Adobe Dreamweaver.

Abstract

Medical recorders and health information are some of the health workers who are included in the "medical technical" group where the task of medical recorders and health information is to manage patient data into health information that is useful for decision making. Planning for the needs of health personnel must be following the needs in the field in terms of type, qualification, quantity, and procurement. Excess health personnel will result in unproductive use of work time, while a shortage of health workers will result in excessive workloads so that in planning the needs of health workers an analysis of the workload is required. This study was conducted to obtain information on the ideal number of medical record health personnel using workload calculations. This research method is based on the calculation method of Work Load Indicator Staff Need (WISN) through the implementation of a website-based information system at XYZ Hospital. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the ratio of <1 HR in the unit is not sufficient and not following the workload, namely the number of human resources in the Old Patient TPPRJ with a ratio value of 0.33; RJ coding ratio value 0.41; and Analysis with a ratio value of 0.38. Lack of officers at TPPRJ for Old Patients, RJ Coding, and Analysis resulted in poor service, so it is necessary to add medical personnel to that section when conditions are crowded.
