Abstract

The mass media fact report within social reality comes with a complexities of interest. As an institution which has the power to shape public opinion, the press also able to give  influence both positive and negative, depend on the interests represented. Including while  representing the image of women in politics through its news report. Through the news report, text media construct a reality of a women in politics image. In which this reality constructed by the media is not a value-free.This study analyses the media discourse of a woman politician recently elected as a Bupati (which has the same rank as a Mayor) of Bima District Indah Dhamayanti Putri in the local news media coverage Lombok Post and Suara NTB from the February to May 2016. Both newspaper are daily newspaper which contribute the largest circulation in the province of West Nusa Tenggara. Hence, the two media are the most accessed printed media in the province. How the reality of woman leadership in local scale constructed by this two dailies will certainly influence the view of the people , and the way people behave towards this leadersship. Moreover Indah Dhamayanti Putri is the first female leader in the province of West Nusa Tenggara.The news about Indah Dhamayanti Putri leadership analyzed in this study consist of her profile as the Bupati, her political activities, polocies and programs. The news analyzed using critical discourse analysis method from Norman Fairclough model, by analyzing the text in the macro-micro societal context. FOcus of the analysis are more on how language is formed and shaped from social relationships and a certain social context.  Fairclough divide discourse analysis in three dimensions, textual analysis, discourse practice and socio-cultural practices . From the research conducted, it appears that women politicians Indah Dhamayanti Putri are perceived in terms of stereotypes both in terms of physical appearance, figure or her role as wife and mother are still inherent in the discourse of textual reports of two mass media. Keywords: Representation women politician, image, discourse analysis

Abstract

In recent years the popularity of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara as one of the foremost tourist destinations Indonesia indeed increasing. Lombok gains its popularity mostly supported by the social media and the mass media that present a variety of publications related to tourist sites, cultural attractions, events and other things that are considered attractive, presented either in news, photos, as well as freelance articles and travel-blog. This research y aims to determine how the media framing the news, especially the local media Lombok Post on Lombok tourism issue and whether the local media also do framing the news related to the impact of tourism. This research use Lombok Post publications during January 1st to December 31th 2014. This study uses framing analysis, by selecting the news published in this period by using Entman framing analysis which are done in four ways; problem identification, causal interpretatio), moral judgment, and suggestions deal with the problem (suggest remedies). According to its function, the role of mass media as a medium of informations, has played important and significant role in the case of Lombok tourism promotion. However, the media also should not to forget its education functions related to the impact of the tourism industry, particularly the ecological impacts arising from tourism activities.This research shows that fLombok Post frame its publications mostly to support Lombok’s tourism through issues selections and salience of the content mostly presents promotive topics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the public's response to use SID as a medium for basic social services, SID as a source of information, and SID as a community medium. This research can provide information about the readiness of the community to face the 4.0 revolution era, especially people in rural areas. If the community is ready and accustomed to using SID as a basic social service center and the other hand, managing resources continue to increase their capacity both in human resources and infrastructure, then SID can become a reliable database and can provide basic social services one-stop service in the village. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, data collecting on informants was carried out using in-depth interviews, direct observation, sampling techniques, documentation, and FGD. Then simultaneously carried out data analysis with interactive analysis methods. Key informants were the Village Head and SID Managers in Rarang Selatan and Kalijaga Timur Villages; as well as informants from village residents as many as 50 informants each 25 informants per village (consisting of elements of teachers, students, agricultural extension workers, heads of farmer groups, farmers, heads of farmer groups, Posyandu cadres, hamlet heads, housewives, traders). The results showed that the public response to SID as a service medium was positive,  as a source of information was positive, and as a community medium was positive. This is shown by the behavior of the community using SID intensively, participating in disseminating the existence of SID, inviting villagers to take advantage of SID, even taking part in providing information (filling in content) to be conveyed to the community (especially village communities) through SID.Keywords: Response, Village Information System (SID), resources, community media, basic social services

Abstract

To realize the vision of the Village Law to make the village strong, independent, prosperous and democratic, the existence of a Village Information System (SID) becomes very important that the SID is specifically regulated in the Village Law.  In 2017, the implementation of SID in East Lombok Regency has only been introduced in the Sub Districts of Terara and Aikmel.  The objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the SID diffusion process and innovation decisions, and (2) identify good practices for SID management learning.  This research was conducted in 10 villages that carried out the SID program in East Lombok Regency. This study was designed as a qualitative descriptive study.  Data collection through observation, FGD and in-depth interviews.  The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model. The results of the study include: (1) Diffusion of innovations and SID innovation decisions takes place relatively quickly. The characteristic of the SID as needed, are more favorable, and support rediscovery.  Communication channels use channels of mass communication, group communication, and interpersonal communication, where communication uses social media.  The diffusion process occurs relatively quickly because of the existence of SID learning groups as a supportive social system; 2) Good practice for learning from SID management is the growth of initiatives from below to develop SID, the existence of SID forums and SID learning groups, and ongoing efforts to support the improvement of basic services (education, health, and population administration).Keywords: innovation decision, learning, diffusion process, Village Information System

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemitraan yang diharapkan dapat menjembatani keterkaitan perusahaan pengelola dengan pelaku industri hingga saat ini kurang dapat berjalan sebagaimana yang diharapkan. Oleh karena itu pemikiran secara seksama dalam bentuk penelitian model kemitraan yang berkesinambungan dan harmonis, khususnya dalam agribisnis atau pemasaran kacang mete dinilai sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) untuk mengevaluasi pola kemitraan yang dikembangkan saat ini, meliputi: (i) tingkat pengetahuan pelaku industri tentang hak (right) dan kewajibannya (obligation) dalam kaitannya dengan hubungan kerja kemitraan, (ii) rules of representation (pelibatan) pelaku industri mitra dalam proses pengambilan keputusan tentang penentuan harga, (2) untuk menemukan model kemitraan yang berkesinambungan dan harmonis dalam agribisnis atau pemasaran kacang mete, dan (3) untuk menganalisis sikap dan perilaku pelaku industri dan perusahaan mitra terhadap model kemitraan yang dikembangkan saat ini berikut kekuatan, kelemahan, kesempatan, dan ancamannya. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif, yang diarahkan kepada upaya menggali informasi yang berkaitan dengan kemitraan dalam agribisnis kacang mete. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik survei melalui wawancara mendalam dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis skor untuk pola kemitraan, sikap dan perilaku principal-agent dengan Skala Likert, dan analisis SWOT untuk mengkaji kekuatan, kelemahan, kesempatan, dan ancaman atau hambatan dari operasionalisasi kemitraan yang dikembang-kan saai ini sehingga dapat ditentukan model kemitraan baru yang berkesinambungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat dua bentuk kemitraan dalam penyaluran mete gelondongan dan kacang mete yaitu Kemitraan Bapak Angkat yang Termodifikasi dan Kemitraan Penghela, (2) model kemitraan industri kacang mete berkelanjutan terbangun dengan strategi bermitra yaitu : (a) strategi pengembangan kapasitas kelembagaan (pembangunan kelompok industri kacang mete, pembangunan asosiasi (kolaborasi) kelembagaan industri kacang mete, pembangunan kemitraan dengan pelaku pasar lainnya, dan pendampingan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan pengembangan teknologi kacang mete dan kelembagaan industri kacang mete; (b) strategi pembangunan kontrak atau kesepakatan bermitra (tersusunnya secara tertulis kesepakatan kerjasama antara industri kacang mete dan kelembagaan lainnya, terumuskannya persyaratan kualitas dan harga untuk setiap kelas kacang mete, dan adanya pihak ketiga sebagai penengah bila terjadi sengketa. ABSTRACT Collaboration that was assuned to bridge the interest between cashew farmers and industries is not easly materialized. For this season, research to develop model thad could create a sustainable collaboration model with regards to agribusinness of cashew is verry appreciated. The objective of this measured are : (1) to evaluate the present existing collaboration, with respect to: (a) their awaran as interms of right and obligation in collaboration, and (b) their involment in deciding the cashew price, (2) to find or develop sustainable collaboration model in agribusiness and marketing of cashew, and (3) to analyze the behaviors of cashew farmers and its industrial comitenpart lowerd present collaboration model developed, including its strength, weaknes, opportunity, and threat. This research was designed using qualitative and quantitative method analyze, that was directed to colhet information that coincide with collaboration in cashew agribusinesses. Data collection was done using tehnich survey throngh in-depth interview and focus group discussion (FGD). Data analyses was conducted through score analyses for collaboration scheme, Likert Scale for principle agent behaviour, and SWAT analyses for knowing the strength, weaknes, opportunity, and threats from the present developed collaboration, so that can be formulated new collaboration model that can exist sustainably. Results of study shows that : (1) there are two forms of collaborations in distributing raw cashew product thar are: (a) Kemitraan Bapak Angkat yang Termodifikasi dan (b) Kemitraan Penghela, (2) a sustainable collabo-ration model for cashew agribusiness could be established through: (a) development institutional capacity for cashew industry group, cashew nut association, collaboration development with other market stakeholders, people empowerment, and cashew on memorandum of understanding to collaborate. In this MoU must include: agreement to collaboaration, statement about price for each cashew quality, and the stated mediator in case there are any disagreements/conflicts.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan strategi komunikasi, persepsi warga dan peranan tokoh masyarakat dalam memotivasi kelompoknya/ masyarakatnya dalam rangka mensukseskan program kegiatan KEM lahan kering MP3D di Desa Gumantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dekriptif, pengumpulan data pada informan dilakukan dengan teknik in depth-interview, observasi langsung, teknik cuplikan, dokumentasi dan FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan melalui tokoh masyarakat merupakan strategi komunikasi yang dipilih untuk melancarkan dan memudahkan proses komunikasi sosialisasi program, penyusunan sampai tahap realisasi tiap program. Tokoh masyarakat dipilih sebagai penyampai pesan (komunikator) karena pada masyarakat tradisional peran dan pengaruhnya masih sangat kuat dalam mengatur perikehidupan masyarakatnya, mendorong dan mengembangkan hasrat mengubah kehidupan ke arah kemajuan. Strategi komunikasi berikutnya adalah pada pesan yang berisikan informasi mengenai program. Program disampaikan secara bertahap (satu persatu), hal ini dimaksudkan agar tidak membingungkan warga dan menghindari kesan memberikan janji-janji tetapi tidak terealisasi. Persepsi warga masyarakat terhadap program KEM adalah positif. Peran tokoh lainnya adalah kesediaan secara sukarela memberi dukungan pelaksanaan program antara lain menyediakan tempat pertemuan karena belum ada balai pertemuan, menyediakan lahannya sebagai lahan bersama untuk belajar budidaya hortikulutra (sayuran). ABSTRACT This research is aimed determining and explaining the communication strategy, the perception of people, and the role of public figure in motivating groups/community in supporting the success of Community Economics Activities of dry land farming by MP3D in Gumantar Village. This research is descriptive study. The data were collected through in-depth-interview, and direct observation, quoting, documenting and FGD techniques. The research showed that the approach through public figure is a good communication strategy in smoothing and facilitating the communication process during the disseminating, the planning and the implementing of each program. The public figure is chosen as message delivery persons (communicators) since their role and influence in traditional community are still strong in managing the community’s life. The next communication strategy is on how to communicate message consisting of information of the program. The program is informed one by one in order the information not confusing the community and to avoid the perception that this is only a promise that is not implemented. The perception of people on the program is positive. The other role of public figure is that they supported the implementation of program voluntary by providing their lands as place to learn horticulture.

Abstract

In the current era of digital information and communication media, the Bayan indigenous people still firmly maintain the existence of traditional communication. The Bayan indigenous people are part of the Sasak people who live on the island of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Traditional communication has an essential role in the social life of the community. Besides being able to bind relations between communities to be harmonious, it is also the identity of a society. In this regard, knowing how the Bayan indigenous community can maintain traditional communication in the digital media era is crucial. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation methods, with the resource persons being the village heads of Sukadana, Baturakit, and Bayan, as well as traditional leaders from the villages of Baturakit and Karang Bajo. The results show that the Bayan indigenous people continue to use digital media or the internet to add insight. However, the Bayan indigenous people also consistently maintain traditional communication. The still-functioning traditional institutions indicate this; still ongoing traditional rituals, including traditional rituals related to Islamic holidays, gawe urip rituals, namely rituals related to life, gawe pati rituals, namely traditional ceremonies related to death; and the functioning of customary awik-awik or customary law. The existence of the traditional communication of the Bayan indigenous people is the responsibility of the customs authorities, the Bayan indigenous people in general, and government policymakers. The factors that affect the durability of this traditional communication are: people's belief in the values ​​of their ancestors that are still firmly held, strong characterizations of traditional stakeholders as opinion leaders, and customary sanctions are also reasons for indigenous peoples to maintain traditional values ​​which are manifested in traditional communication.

Abstract

Pengovenan tembakau merupakan suatu cara pengeringan tembakau menggunakan oven dengan bantuan bahan bakar dan menggunakan beberapa alat. Dalam proses usaha pengovenan tembakau ini ada beberapa macam pilihan bahan bakar yang dapat digunakan oleh petani, dengan demikian perlu diteliti bahan bakar apa saja yang bisa digunakan dan penggunaannya efektif pada pengovenan tembakau. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui manajemen usahatani tembakau di Kecamatan Sikur dan Inventarisir jenis bahan bakar yang digunakan untuk pengovenan tembakau di Kecamatan Sikur serta membandingkan bahan bakar yang paling efisien digunakan untuk pengovenan tembakau di Kecamatan Sikur Lombok Timur. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini (1) Berdasarkan manajemen usahatani tembakau yang dimulai dari planning, organizing, actuating, dan controlling rata-rata semua responden melakukan manajemen usahatami tembakau yang di mulai dari proses pembibitan sampai pemasaran. (2) Jenis bahan bakar yang digunakan pada pengovenan tembakau di Kabupaten Lombok Timur adalah bahan bakar kayu, cangkang sawit, cangkang kemiri dan campuran. (3) Bahan bakar pengovenan tembakau yang paling efisien adalah campuran 1 (kayu dan cangkang sawit) dengan poin paling banyak yaitu sebesar 14 poin, yang di ukur dari segi harga bahan bakar, biaya tenaga kerja, kemudahan penggunaan dan nilai R/C Ratio sebesar 1,62.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji Inovasi Public Relation Command Center (PRCC) Dalam Sosialisasi Program Kerja Pemerintah Provinsi NTB pada Biro Humas dan Protokol Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi NTB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan inovasi sektor public yang dilakukan oleh PRCC. Landasan teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas), tujuan humas, fungsi humas, peran humas, proses humas, humas pemerintah, tujuan humas pemerintah, tugas humas pemerintah, fungsi humas pemerintah, peran humas pemerintah, pendekatan humas pemerintah, program kerja humas pemerintah, pelayanan publik dalam humas pemerintah, sosialisasi, diseminasi informasi, dan publik dalam humas pemerintah, perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, inovasi, tipologi inovasi, inovasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pemerintahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 dari 5 inovasi sektor publik yang diterapkan oleh PRCC dalam sosialisai program kerja Pemerintah Provinsi NTB yakni Inovasi Layanan, Inovasi Proses Pelayanan, dan Inovasi Metode Pelayanan.

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 dinilai sebagai momentum yang baik untuk melakukan perbaikan dan penelaahan dalam pelaksanaan tata kelola klinis yang baik. Covid-19 juga menjadi salah satu pendorong transformasi pelayanan kesehatan di seluruh dunia tak terkecuali Indonesia. Salah satu solusi pelayanan kesehatan di masa pandemi adalah telemedicine. Telemedicine dinilai memiliki potensi untuk memberikan revolusi terhadap kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia dan mampu mengatasi berbagai masalah layanan kesehatan. Beberapa alasan di atas yang disertai pandemi covid-19, membuat para penyedia layanan telemedicine mengalami perkembangan pesat di tanah air. Dengan demikian, telemedicine menjadi fenomena baru yang menarik untuk ditelusuri. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini menelusuri persepsi pengguna terhadap salah satu aplikasi telemedicine, yaitu Halodocselaku aplikasi medis terbaik dan paling diminati di Indonesia. Menggunakan 4 dimensi literasi kesehatan untuk mengukur tingkat literasi kesehatan penggunanya serta 4 dimensi kualitas pelayanan untuk mengukur kualitas layanan yang diberikan Halodoc. Melalui metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data primer dan sekunder. Setelah melakukan penelitian, peneliti berkesimpulan bahwa persepsi pengguna aplikasi Halodoc terhadap peningkatan literasi kesehatan masyarakat di Kota Mataram adalah positif dan terbukti Halodoc mampu membawa dampak positif bagi kehidupan penggunanya, yang ditandai dengan peningkatan literasi kesehatan mereka.
