Abstract

Participation in the budgetary process does not only comes with a positive effect(s) but could also lead to negative behavior(s) of employees, one of which is the creation of budgetary slack. Previous studies said that information asymmetry is rated as one of the causes of the creation of budgetary slack. The purposes of this 3x2 factorial experimental study and between subject designs are to see the effect of information asymmetry on the budgetary slack and see whether information asymmetry and self-efficacy leads to the creation of budgetary slack. This study involved 65 undergraduate and postgraduate students from the accounting department of Economics and Business Faculty in Universitas Airlangga Surabaya as participants. One way ANOVA and two- way ANOVA is used to test and analyze the proposed hypothesis. Results show that information asymmetry influences the creation of budgetary slack. However, production managers with high or low self-efficacy are still taking advantage of asymmetric information that happened to do budgetary slack.

Abstract

This study examines the value relevance of accounting information after PSAK 72 on the companies that are listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Ohlson’s model is used to evaluate the research hypothesis and to estimate the research model using Generalized Least Squares (GLS) regression analysis. The results indicate that applying PSAK 72 has value relevance to accounting information. Stock price significantly correlates with the company’s earnings, but the book value of equity has no value. PSAK 72 requires professional interpretation and judgment, which resulted in the recognition of differences for similar transactions. The complexity of PSAK 72 requires adjustments for the company to reduce profits, and it will react negatively to the users. PSAK 72 will better disclose its contract revenue with customers, but it requires lengthy preparation. To provide better information, IAI (Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia) needs to consider the transition period for the implementation.

Educational management information systems are developed to meet the needs of institutions / schools, where schools want in the learning process to use information systems in an effort to answer the challenges of the 21st century that require institutions / schools to develop management information systems (SIM) to create learning that is not monotonous and saturated for students in the classroom. This study uses qualitative methods using observation, interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of this study show that the Implementation of Education Management Information System (SIMDIK) at SMKN 1 Cijulang in the learning process utilizing learning application systems namely Edmodo, E-Raport and Smart Board for Axioo classes in creating interactive learning is good enough. Supporting factors in the implementation of educational management information system in SMKN 1 Cijulang is the existence of a dapodic information system that is useful to register students, educators and education personnel (PTK), the support and cooperation from various parties in infrastructure or human resources in supporting SMKN 1 Cijulang as a school that implements digitalization system. The obstacles encountered in the learning process at SMKN 1 Cijulang include elderly teachers who have difficulty in using management information system (SIM) applications.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of the implementation of mind mapping on learning of chemical bonding assisted with information technology toward learning outcomes of students in the Class X1 Science at SMA 1 Sindue. This study was a quasi-experiment with non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling was based on special consideration (purposive sampling) with a sample of students of class X1 Science as the experimental class and class X2 Science as the control class. The instrument of this study was a test of learning outcomes. Data of the results was tested using statistical analysis of one-party t-test with prerequisite tests of normality and homogeneity tests. The data analysis obtained an average score of learning outcomes in the experimental class was 77.12 and in the control class was 67.6. Based on the hypothesis test with the t-test statistic of two parties obtained tcount of 10.89 and ttable of 1.95 at α 0.05. In this case, H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected because tcount was in the area of H0 rejection. This showed that there were differences in students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of mind mapping and conventional in learning of students in 10th grade at SMA 1 Sindue.

Abstract

The use of information and communication technology has become a necessity for people to search for information and information published in 3-dimensional e-book media, which has been widely used in information retrieval. This paper aims to determine the use of 3-dimensional e-Books produced by the Directorate of Repository, Multimedia, and Scientific Publishing-National Information Research Agency. The method used in this research is the Google Analytics method, an application that provides information on the results of data collection (data mining) using the web using page tag techniques. With Google Analytics, the collected data related to acquisition and user behavior on the web can be analyzed to be used as a goal, reference, and reliable data. The results showed that there were 304 (three hundred and four) titles of 3-dimensional E-Books produced, which were grouped into 12 categories. Users of 3-dimensional E-Books are spread across 12 (twelve) countries. The two countries that use the most are Indonesia, with 2,718 users (94.05%), followed by America with 72 users (2.49%). Meanwhile, the two most widely used 3-dimensional e-book categories were the tourism category with 625 (31.2%) and animal husbandry and agriculture 421 (21.0%). Considering that users of this 3-dimensional e-book are scattered in various countries, it is recommended that the production of this 3-dimensional e-book can be continued.
