Abstract

In the last 2021, Indonesia has had 43 botanical gardens with more than 104.000 specimens that are collected in the Indonesian Botanical Garden. 152 species of them are in threatened condition based on The International Union for Conservation of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species (IUCN) data. To conserve the floras and exploring them for other purposes such as science development, economic development, and medicine development, the stakeholders including the Indonesian government find it difficult to access the real-time data and information. Indonesia does not have a connected system at the national level that can provide real-time data from all botanical gardens in Indonesia for monitoring and managing the specimens. Some botanical gardens have tried to develop their system to maintain and monitor plant collections. However, without a national connected system that is implemented in all Indonesian gardens, it raises new issues such as long-time collecting data process, inaccurate data, different mechanisms to treat data and different business processes to maintain the plant collections. The purpose of this study is to develop a system, named Makoyana, that can address the issues and provide real-time monitoring and managing information for plant collection at the national level. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) methodologies are combined to manage the project. The outcomes of this study are the system that provides one gateway platform for stakeholders to find all information about plant collections data, IUCN status, updated statistics, and a national standard for maintaining and collecting data for plant collections in the Indonesian Botanical Garden.

Abstract

The study investigated the impact of information sharing on supply chain performance through supplier quality management, supply chain agility, and supply chain innovation. The data collection used a questionnaire designed with a 7-point Likert scale in GoogleForm and printed format and distributed through social media, email, WhatsApp, and mail posts. Of the 266 population, as many as 112 responses were received and were considered valid for further processing. The data analysis used the partial least square technique (PLS) utilizing SmartPLS. The analysis showed that information sharing directly affects supplier quality management, supply chain agility, and supply chain innovation. Furthermore, supply chain agility, supplier quality management, and supply chain innovation directly affect operational performance. The exciting result of this study is the indirect effect of information sharing on operational performance through the mediating role of supply chain agility, supplier quality management, and supply chain innovation. This result offers solutions to practitioners to pursue information sharing, supplier quality management, supply chain agility, and supply chain innovation in improving operational performance. The main theoretical contribution of this research is the mediating role of supply chain agility, supply chain innovation, and supplier quality management toward the relationship between information sharing and operational performance.

Abstract

A covid-19 pandemic is a significant event that causes supply chain disruption in Indonesia. As a result, the manufacturing sector experienced a significant decline which is indicated by the greatly decreasing Purchasing Manager Index (PMI) in April and May 2020. Therefore, supply chain resilience (SCR) becomes essential for a company to minimize risk, reduce negative impact, and quickly adapt to the business condition. This research aims to analyse the relationship between variables that can increase SCR, namely information management capability (IMC) and collaboration, and the relationship between SCR and company performance. This research was conducted by collecting primary data using questionnaires and analysing the relationship among variables using the PLS-SEM method. This research indicates that IMC and collaboration significantly affect SCR. SCR also has a significant effect on company performance. However, IMC does not significantly impact company performance, while collaboration significantly affects company performance. This research also indicates that collaboration mediates the relationship between IMC toward company performance.

Abstract

Abstract

30% of female adolescents reported their first sexual intercourse at under the age of 15 years old on the grounds of being forced by their partners and 49% of female adolescents could not reject their partner's invitation. The lack of reproductive health information sources is a continuity issue that affects the health status of adolescents. Those who get reproductive health information from the surrounding environment with the same age group and have similar dating experience may increase the risk of misinformation. This research aims to know correlation between the information sources of reproductive health and sexual behavior of adolescents in Indonesia. This quantitative study used cross sectional approach, using data analysis of Indonesian Adolescent Reproductive Health Survey Year 2012 (10,980 men and 8,902 women). The data analysis used Chi Square. It shown with the value of x2 (30,511) with the significance value (p = 0,000 0,05) and 95% CI. There is a correlation between the information sources of reproductive health and sexual behavior of adolescents in Indonesia. The assessment of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) on planning of WA Gateway based on Android application as Information Center and Adolescent Counseling can be the formulation of health policy with interactive learning media for adolescents.
