Abstract

Strengthening the paradigm of eco-theological-based educational leadership is important in this era of disruption marked by technological developments and increasing environmental crises. This study aims to examine the integration of theological and ecological values in educational leadership. The study uses a qualitative approach with a library research method through the analysis of various relevant books, journal articles, and academic documents. The results of the study show that the eco-theological paradigm of educational leadership integrates a theocentric perspective that places God as the source of moral and spiritual values and an ecocentric perspective that emphasizes a harmonious relationship between humans and nature. The integration of these two perspectives encourages ethical awareness in preserving the environment through the development of an environmentally-friendly curriculum and the formation of a green school culture. This approach is expected to encourage adaptive educational leadership practices that are oriented towards environmental sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in early childhood as an effort to prevent the risk of stunting in Bajawa Village. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that is not only influenced by lack of nutritional intake, but also by environmental sanitation factors, recurrent infections, and family parenting. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods. The research informants consisted of parents of early childhood, Posyandu cadres, and health workers. The data were analyzed descriptively to describe the conditions of PHBS implementation, children's food consumption patterns, environmental sanitation, and the role of parents in supporting children's growth and development. The results of the study showed that most of the children had applied several PHBS indicators such as washing their hands with soap, maintaining personal hygiene, and participating in growth monitoring at the Posyandu. Children's food consumption patterns are already regular in the frequency of meals, but variation and nutritional balance still need to be improved, especially in the consumption of vegetables, fruits, and various protein sources. The general environmental sanitation condition is quite good, characterized by the availability of clean water and latrines, although waste management and drainage still need improvement. The active role of parents has proven to be an important factor in forming healthy living habits in children.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine whether the use of child-friendly number tree games can enhance the cognitive development of children aged 4–5 years at TKK Regina Pacis Bajawa. This study employs a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included interviews with teachers and observations of children's activities. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested using triangulation. The results show that the number tree game yields positive outcomes for early childhood cognitive development. This is evident from observations of 14 children: 9 children reached the Very Well Developed category, 3 children were in the Developed as Expected category, and 2 children were in the Starting to Develop category. Consequently, the number tree game is declared effective as a learning medium to improve cognitive abilities, particularly in recognizing and naming numerical symbols 1–10 for children aged 4–5 years.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the application of visionary leadership in enhancing the culture of quality in Islamic education within madrasahs. Visionary leadership is regarded as a future-oriented leadership style, characterised by the ability to formulate a clear and inspiring vision, and to mobilise all elements of the madrasah towards a shared goal. The research method employed was a literature review, examining various relevant literature, research findings, and theories concerning visionary leadership, a culture of quality, and the context of Islamic education. The findings indicate that the visionary leadership of madrasah heads plays a strategic role in strengthening educational quality through systematic planning, the development of a vision and mission grounded in Islamic values, the strengthening of organisational culture, and the effective management of resources. Furthermore, visionary leadership also fosters the professional development of teachers, student achievement, and the integration of spiritual and moral values into every aspect of educational governance. The implications of this research underscore the importance of strengthening the strategic leadership competencies of madrasah heads through continuous training, the development of collaborative networks, and the implementation of internal quality management systems. Thus, the formulation of visionary leadership can serve as a transformative paradigm in building a culture of excellence in Islamic madrasah education that is of high quality, integrity, and adaptable to global challenges.

Abstract

Implementation of Scrapbook Media Learning on the Ability to Write Review Texts of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 12 Medan Academic Year 2025/2026. This research is a quantitative experimental research with a two-group pretest and posttest research design. The population is 186 class VIII students, and the research sample is 31 class VIII-A students and 31 class VIII-B students determined by cluster random sampling technique.Data analysis techniques included normality tests with F tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. After conducting research on the pretest and posttest regarding the use of scrapbook media, the average pretest score was 47.9 with deviation standard 17.07, And average mark posttest as big as 76.2 with standard deviation 17.77.Based on results test hypothesis in study This, done test t on level of significance???? = 0.05 and the result of t count is > ttable (4.1 > 2.041). Thus, H₀ is rejected and Hₐ accepted. Results test prerequisite data pretest And posttest show that the sample is normally distributed and homogeneous.It can be concluded that there is an influence of the implementation of learning using scrapbook media on students' abilities. write text review student class VIII JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Country 12 Medan year 2025/2026 academic year.

Abstract

This article examines principal leadership in the recovery and transformation of learning in formal educational institutions post-pandemic. The study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach through a literature review of relevant journal articles, academic books, policy documents, and official reports. The results indicate that principals play a central role not only as administrative managers but also as instructional leaders, transformational leaders, and change agents who direct the school's vision, culture, and quality of learning. In learning recovery, principals coordinate diagnostic assessments, differentiated learning, literacy and numeracy reinforcement, and support for student learning well-being. At the same time, principals lead learning transformation through the integration of digital technology, active-collaborative learning, data-driven evaluation, pedagogical innovation, and strengthening a culture of continuous reflection. The success of this agenda is determined by the principal's managerial and pedagogical competencies, teacher support, the availability of infrastructure, and a willingness to collaborate with parents and the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of educational leadership mindset from an authoritarian model to a democratic one through a conceptual review of educational thought in the context of digital era transformation. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, analyzing relevant scientific literature published between 2018 and 2021. The findings indicate that educational leadership has undergone a significant paradigm shift, from an authoritarian model characterized by hierarchical, rigid, and centralized power structures to a democratic leadership model that emphasizes participation, collaboration, and empowerment. This transformation is influenced by digital technological advancements, the evolution of leadership from Leadership 1.0 to Leadership 5.0, and the demands of 21st-century education. Furthermore, the digitalization of education presents challenges such as technological inequality, limited digital competencies, and issues related to ethics and data security, while also providing opportunities for more flexible, innovative, and inclusive learning. In this context, adaptive leadership becomes a key strategy in managing change through its roles as a change agent, innovation driver, and collaboration facilitator. Therefore, transforming the mindset of educational leadership from authoritarian to democratic is a strategic step toward developing a responsive, human-centered, and sustainable education system.

Abstract

The transformation of educational leadership management has become an urgent necessity in responding to global dynamics characterized by technological advancement, social complexity, and increasing demands for educational quality. This article aims to conceptually examine how the transformation of educational leadership management can be understood from the perspective of visionary leadership. The study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method, analyzing various academic sources to identify relevant leadership patterns, concepts, and strategies. The findings reveal that visionary leadership plays a strategic role in directing organizational change through the formulation of clear visions, adaptability to change, and the strengthening of innovative and collaborative values. The transformation of leadership management is not only related to administrative aspects but also involves a paradigm shift from structural orientation to a transformative approach focused on human resource development. Visionary leadership serves as a driving force in creating a progressive, responsive, and sustainable organizational culture. Therefore, the integration of leadership management and visionary perspectives is essential in enhancing educational quality in a holistic and competitive manner.
