Abstract

The Salatiga City Population and Civil Registration Office is a regional device organization that already uses information technology in its business processes. Although they have taken advantage of the information system, they have not yet conducted an assessment of risk threats and have not run a risk management. The source of the problem is a problem in implementing risk measurement and management techniques using the Octave-S method that focuses on organizations with no more than 100 members. This technique is used to identify and analyze threats to critical assets in Salatiga City Population and Civil Registration Service. The results of analysis of such threats will be useful when performing mitigation plans in accordance with existing security practices. From the research that has been conducted, there are 2 areas of security practice that produce yellow stoplight status which is a sign that the organization has implemented security practices but is not yet perfect. Both areas of security practice will be selected as mitigation areas. In

Abstract

BPNT (Non-Cash Food Assistance) is food social assistance in non-cash form from the government which is given to Beneficiary Families (KPM) every month. In its implementation, BPNT is still encountering a number of obstacles, one of which is in terms of distribution of aid which has not been optimal in several areas, including in Mekar Sari Village, Kec.Pulau Rakyat, Kab. Sharpen. In carrying out the BPNT program, many residents complained that they did not receive this assistance, but they felt they had the right to receive assistance like the others. The aim of the research is to apply the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm so that it can help the process of classifying data on citizens who are eligible or not eligible to receive non-cash food assistance (BPNT). The method used uses the application of data mining classification techniques with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. Based on the results of implementing the K-Nearest Neighbor data mining algorithm, the results of the system created can predict and help the village government to make decisions and describe residents who are eligible and not eligible for BPNT assistance using data on poor residents recorded in Mekar Sari Village, Kec. People's Island, Kab. Asahan by using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm data mining system.

Abstract

Red Onions are agricultural commodities that are a source of income for farmers and can make a major contribution to Indonesia's economic development. The characteristic of the onion plant is that it requires a lot of sunlight. The sunlight needed for photosynthesis is 70% with an ambient temperature range of 25oC-32oC and soil moisture in the range of 50%-70%. Although red onions require a lot of water, these plants are sensitive to high-intensity rainfall. The critical period of the red onion plants is in the tuber formation phase so it is necessary to control it to get maximum production results. The method of making the smart farming system uses the Research and Development (R&D) method while sending data online to the web uses the Internet of Things (IoT) method. The result of this research is that a monitoring and control system for temperature and humidity has been successfully built on red onion plants. The system built is capable of measuring temperature with an accuracy rate of 95.33% and environmental humidity in plants reaching 92.07% while the accuracy of testing the entire system reaches 93.33%. The smart farming system has been able to automatically irrigate and apply fertilizer. Control of irrigation and application of fertilizers by the system has implications for better shallot growth and creates modern agriculture.

Abstract

The website is one of the media used by some educational institutions to convey information. One of them is the Department of Informatics at the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII). One of the basic things that need to be considered when developing a academic website is the user experience (UX) a user has when engaging with a website. User experience measures the comfort level of a user when interacting with a product. User experience needs to be evaluated regularly so that the website can continue to meet the expectations of its users. However, there has been no research related to evaluating or testing user experience on the UII Informatics Department website. This study aims to assess the level of experience of UII Informatics Department website visitors. This study employed quantitative research methods, specifically the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Using the mean calculation, the UII Informatics Department website received positive assessments on the dimensions of perspicuity, efficiency, attractiveness, dependability, and stimulation, but received negative evaluations on the novelty dimension. According to the benchmark analysis, the aspects of perspicuity and efficiency are above-average. While the dimensions of novelty, stimulation, dependability, and attractiveness are below-average. The results of this study can be used as a reference for developing a website for the Department of Informatics with a version that is more in line with user needs.

Abstract

Imbalance of data between classes can result in incorrect predictions in classification, which can cause problems in decision making. Eastern Indonesia (KTI) is one of the regions that has a Human Development Index (HDI) below the national HDI, so increasing human potential in the production process in KTI must be focused on. In the categorization of regencies/municipalities in KTI there is imbalanced data. This shows that human development between regions in KTI is still uneven. For this reason, a classification of regencies/municipalities based on HDI into certain categories is carried out accurately and quickly. The classification results are expected to help the government in determining future strategic steps to improve the quality of human resources in KTI. One method that can handle data imbalance is Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), using three classification algorithms, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest neighbors (KNN), and Random Forest (RF). It was found that with the handling of data imbalance and the application of the k-fold cross validation method, the three algorithms showed a significant increase in accuracy. Therefore, handling data imbalance is proven to be able to improve the performance of the applied classification algorithms.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are business activities that are able to expand employment opportunities and provide broad economic services to the community. The role of digital technology has increased significantly to assist activities and transactions via the internet, whether accessed via web, mobile or desktop technology. In carrying out their business processes, MSMEs need access to other services such as banks for payment processing. Apart from that, multiplatform applications are needed to make it easier for customers to access the services provided by MSMEs. Based on the above needs, an MSME back-end application was developed using the REST API web service architecture which runs on a Raspberry PI which functions as a server for computing and data storage processes. The system development method uses the waterfall method with the Golang programming language. The system developed has been tested using the Insomnia tool for the REST API that has been created and the Vegeta tool as HTTP load testing. The results obtained in this test using the POST and GET methods were that for a number of requests of 25 and 150 transactions were 100% successful, however for a number of requests of 500 there were 32% failed transactions. Power consumption increases according to the number of accesses to the system with the average value in each scenario being 4.24, 4.54, 4.7 watts.

Abstract

Research involving humans as the object has to follow ethics protocol. This protocol has to be reviewed by the research ethics committee before the research can be conducted. Though the mechanism for determining the protocol reviewer is simple, there are several obstacles, including the unbalanced workload of each reviewer, the empty schedule because the reviewer is busy or has other tasks, and the length of time it takes to determine the schedule manually. There needs to be a system that can see various obstacles and challenges in scheduling protocol reviewers and resolve them automatically. This paper proposes an automatic scheduling mechanism with a Heuristic Forward Chaining approach that can adjust the rules for determining reviewers from real experts and avoid the constraints that exist in the manual scheduling system. The proposed method is made in the form of a web application and can practically generate accurate schedules automatically.

Abstract

The need for food is very important for human survival. Therefore, food prices have a very big influence. Several factors cause unstable food prices, including increased demand during major holidays, and seasonal or weather factors that result in crop failure. Because of these factors, price increases can occur at any time and have an impact on society if prices rise unexpectedly. Based on these problems, a system was designed to predict food prices using the Iconix system development method, and to calculate price predictions using the Least Square method. In this system, analysis and system design is carried out to predict food prices. The predicted food ingredients will be limited to ten food ingredients, namely rice, shallots, garlic, red chilies, cayenne peppers, beef, chicken, granulated sugar, cooking oil and purebred chicken eggs. The process design used to describe information systems is the design of system flow diagrams, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams. Black Box testing provides results that each feature in the food price prediction system has been successfully created and functions well.
