Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena di Masjid As-Shodiqin, Dusun Plosorejo, Ponorogo, di mana jama’ah mengalami keterbatasan dalam membaca Al-Qur’an secara rutin sebelum adanya sistem tadarus dengan metode rukū’. Sebelumnya, praktik membaca Al-Qur’an hanya dilakukan seminggu sekali dengan pembacaan Surah Yasin, tanpa sistematisasi yang jelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan metode rukū’ dapat berkontribusi dalam membangun budaya membaca Al-Qur’an yang lebih berkelanjutan. Dalam penelitian ini akan membahas beberapa hal di antaranya: Bagaimana kondisi membaca Al-Qur’an Jama’ah Masjid As-Shodiqin sebelum diterapkannya metode rukū’; Bagaimana pelaksanaan khataman metode rukū’; dan Bagaimana pemahaman metode rukū’ di kalangan Jama’ah Masjid As-Shodiqin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode rukū’ memberikan kemudahan dalam membaca Al-Qur’an, terutama bagi jama’ah yang sebelumnya belum pernah mengkhatamkan Al-Qur’an. Sistem pembacaan yang singkat dan dilakukan secara konsisten setiap hari berhasil meningkatkan semangat dan keterlibatan jama’ah. Selain itu, penerapan metode ini juga memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiyah, karena frekuensi pertemuan harian membuat jama’ah lebih aktif dalam berinteraksi dan berbagi pengalaman keagamaan. Dengan demikian, metode rukū’ terbukti menjadi strategi efektif dalam membangun budaya membaca Al-Qur’an yang lebih inklusif dan berkelanjutan di Masjid As-Shodiqin.

Abstract

This study discusses how the United Arab Emirates (UAE) integrates Islamic values in modern socio-political development through a socio-political approach to religion. Focusing on the UAE's national development vision 2021, this paper analyzes how values such as maslahah (public interest), maqashid al-shariah (sharia goals), and hikmah (wisdom) are systematically used by the state in the process of modernization and institutional reform. This study shows that Islam in the UAE is not only used as an ethical foundation, but also as a source of symbolic legitimacy and a tool of social engineering that supports stability, national integration, and the consolidation of state power. Using the framework of the sociology of religion, this paper unravels how Islamic symbols and values are used in state discourse, public policy, and institutional building such as the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence. In addition, the study also explores the role of Islam in the UAE's soft power through interfaith diplomacy and sharia economic development, which reinforces the UAE's position as a modern Muslim country that is adaptive to globalization without relinquishing its roots of religious values. The results of this study show that the UAE's vision for 2021 is not only a technocratic development project, but also a cultural and religious project that makes Islam a unifying force and a guide to social change. Thus, this paper contributes to understanding the dynamics of the relationship between religion and state-building in the contemporary Muslim world. Abstract

This study discusses the impact of the One China Policy on efforts to resolve the conflict in the Taiwan Strait in 2024. The main issue is the increasing tension between China and Taiwan, and how this policy affects the process of resolving the conflict. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the One China Policy in hindering or creating space for diplomacy. This study uses a qualitative approach by combining realism and constructivism theories. The results show that this policy strengthens China's position and limits the options for peaceful negotiations, but also encourages the involvement of international actors carefully. The main contribution of this study is to provide a critical understanding of the influence of foreign policy on regional conflicts, as well as enriching the study of international relations in East Asia.
