Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the level of awareness, understanding and examine the factors that influence the level of awareness and understanding of students towards the heroism of Radin Inten II. The method used is a qualitative research method, namely a research method based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine the condition of natural objects, by meeting face to face and interacting with people at the research site. The instruments used to collect data were a test of understanding the history of heroism by Radin Inten II and a historical awareness attitude questionnaire. Based on the results of the research, the level of historical awareness of class Xl students of SMA Negeri 1 Kotagajah is in the very good category with the average percentage shown for all indicators of 87 percent. While the level of student understanding of the heroism of Radin Inten II is said to be good, this is based on as many as 58 percent of 40 respondents successfully exceeding the KKM that has been determined by the school, namely 75. Factors that affect the level of understanding and awareness of the history of heroism of Radin Inten II are optimizing the learning process in class. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the understanding and awareness of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Kotagajah towards the heroism of Radin Inten II is very good.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning resources that take advantage of technological advances in the form of a digital encyclopedia of historical buildings in Metro City. The development model used in this research is a development adapted from Sugiyono level 1 research, consisting of 5 stages, namely (1) analysis of potentials and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design and material validation, (5) ) design and material improvements. The digital encyclopedia of historical buildings produced has gone through two stages of validation and revision. The first material expert validation got an average score of 81.87% while the design expert was 92%. Even though these results are already very good, there are some expert suggestions to get even better products, so that the second stage of revision and validation is carried out which gets a score of 92.5% for material experts and 94% for design experts. After the revision, the product got a score increase of 10.63% in material validation and 2% in design validation. The resulting product is very good so that a small group trial can be carried out on 10 class X students of SMAN 2 Metro and get a result of 87.5%. The results of product trials show that the product is suitable for use in the learning process and can be a learning resource for teachers and students to use this digital encyclopedia.

Abstract

SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo is a school that was established Branch of Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah Purbolinggo which in the process of learning using education renewal conducted by KH Ahmad Dahlan where general education integrates with the science of religion so that the integration in learning aims to create a young generation who excel in the field of education and spiritual In the field of religion to conform to the Qur'an and As Sunnah. Problems discussed in this study is how the perception of students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo on the role of K.H Ahmad Dahlan in education in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is (1) to know the perception of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo students on the role of K.H Ahmad Dahlan in education in Indonesia, (2) to know the students' view of K.H Ahmad Dahlan. This research uses qualitative method by taking location in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo, informant in this research is student of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo, in technique of collecting data using observation, interview, questionnaire, method of library, document. In analyzing data using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result of this research are (1) SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo students still do not understand or know the renewal done by K.H Ahmad Dahlan, (2) the obstacles of student in knowing K.H Ahmad Dahlan renewal lack of learning resources and facilities and infrastructure related to K.H Ahmad Dahlan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the background of the domination of Chinese ethnicity in the economic sector in Indonesia in 1986-2000. To describe the development of Chinese ethnic economic domination in Indonesia in 1986-2000. To analyze the impact of the domination of Chinese ethnic groups on the economic sector on the Indonesian economy in 1986-2000. This research method using heuristict, library study, and data inteprtation method. This research was conducted at the UM Metro library by examining the literature on the economic dominance of Chinese Ethnics in Indonesia through source criticism. The results of this study indicate that the presence of Chinese people in Indonesia in trading indirectly affects the economic situation of the Indonesian nation. Chinese people have high persistence and struggle in running the economy. This made the Chinese economy dominate the indigenous economy. As an example in various regions of Indonesia, the majority of large companies are controlled by the Chinese, especially the assets owned and many Chinese have invested inIndonesian companies. In addition, Chinese trade is also very dominant, it can be seen that large scale traders are dominated by Chinese people, such as jewelry traders, building shops, and electronics stores.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the mapping of the colonization area in Belitang in 1936-1942, (2) to describe the process of moving colonization in Belitang during the Dutch East Indies government in 1936-1942, (3) to describe the life of the Javanese colonists in Belitang. Belitang during the Dutch East Indies government in 1936-1942. Based on the existing problems, researchers are interested in studying more deeply the development of the Belitang colonization in 1936-1942. This is considered important because of the lack of research studies in the field of colonization development in Belitang in 1936-1942. As a researcher, of course, there is a need for a study in writing the history of colonization in Belitang. The method used is the historical method, which is a systematic framework for collecting historical sources. Collecting archives as research documents, both primary and secondary data. The results of research that has been done through the interpretation and writing of history. The results are in the form of both primary and secondary sources that researchers get. Collection of sources from Delpher, KITLV, as well as the Regional Library and Archives  of Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency. the development of colonization in Belitang was able to reduce population density on the island of Java. Colonization in Belitang has progressed quite well, from an economic perspective, namely progress in the rice field sector, in the health sector by establishing three clinics, one school for education and an orderly system of regional government from Kurungan Nyawa village to Cahaya Negeri village.

Abstract

Cultural Heritage is a heritage that needs to be preserved, but in reality there are still many people who do not have the awareness to maintain and care for the potential of cultural heritage as a national cultural heritage. The purpose of this study is to describe the potential of cultural heritage from the Dutch colonial era in Bekri District, Central Lampung Regency and to describe the inventory of the Dutch colonial heritage which can be used as a source of local history. The approach of this research is qualitative research. This research method uses descriptive research method. This research was conducted at PTPN VII Bekri District, Central Lampung Regency. Data in this research were obtained through interview and observation methods. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study that the potential of cultural preservation is any power that can be developed from objects / objects. Thepotential of cultural heritage in PTPN VII Bekri Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency, namely, long beds, chimneys, digester machines, manager houses, wells, art buildings, houses on stilts, bathrooms, public toilets, and afdeling counters. The building is a potential cultural heritage in the Bekri District, Central Lampung Regency, especially in the scope of PTPN VII. The potential of the cultural heritage can be used as a source of local history which is a legacy during the Dutch colonial period. It contains important values in the lives of the Bekri community and surrounding areas.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the relationship between the people of Lampung and Banten influenced the development of the Lampung community in the 16-18 century AD. The purpose of this study was to describe the relationship between the Lampung community and Banten in the political and economic fields in the development of the Lampung community in the 16-18 century AD. The usefulness of this research is that the results of this study are expected to be useful as a review in understanding the relationship between the people of Lampung and Banten in the political and economic fields in the development of Lampung society in the 16-18 century AD.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that education during the Japanese occupation experienced various challenges for the people of Indonesia. The aims of this study are: 1) To analyze and describe education in Indonesia during the Dutch colonial period 1900-1942; 2) To analyze and describe education in Indonesia during the Japanese occupation period 1942-1945; 3) To analyze and describe the driving and inhibiting factors of education in Indonesia during the Japanese occupation period 1942-1945. The research method uses historical methods, namely heuristics, literature study, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. Based on the results of the study, the education that was applied during the Dutch colonial period was given differently and was limited based on race/ethnic social position. Entering the era of Japanese occupation in Indonesia, the Dutch Colonial education system was then changed to semi-military education by applying physical training to students, military and strict indoctrination. Nevertheless, the Indonesian people get many opportunities in the field of education. Education organized by the Japanese military government in Indonesia has developed, through the simplification of the system, all levels of indigenous people are given the right to be able to access it, until Indonesian is used as the language of instruction. However, behind the development there are obstacles in it starting from the lack of educators, the lack of textbooks, the decreasing number of students attending school and the number of schools also decreasing very drastically. Education carried out during the colonial era did not pay attention to education in the context of humanity, but only to maintain one-sided power, political and economic interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop scrapbook pop-up media and describe its feasibility. The due diligence was carried out at the Pekalongan state high school 1. The method used in this study is the method of Research and Development (R&D). Adapted from the Sugiyono Level 1 model (produced a design but did not test). The stages of the research are potential problems, gathering information through observation, interviews, document collection, product design, media validation, media improvement, and the completion of scrapbook pop-up media products. The results of the research are the pop up scrapbook media designed in accordance with KI and KD 2013 curriculum in the subject of the struggle to realize Indonesian independence 1942-1945 to strengthen the historical compreshension (pemahaman sejarah) in students. The results of validation by material experts in phase 1 with a percentage of 81% (Very Strong), stage 2 of 95% (Very Strong), stage 1 and stage 2 increased by 14%. The results of validation by stage 1 media experts were 78% (Strong), stage 2 was 95% (Very Strong), stage 1 and stage 2 increased by 17%. The results of the responses of students by 97% (Very strong). It was concluded that the scrapbook pop-up media was worth trying out as a history learning media to strengthen students historical comprehension.

Abstract

Problems in this research The role of Siti Walidah in the field of education and social to promote education and improve the dignity of women. The method used in this research is the historical method by conducting literature study. Data collection techniques in this study using heuristic steps and literature study. In testing the truth of a data or validity of data collection used internal and external critic, while for data analysis method is by interpretation and historiography. The results of this study are:The role of Siti Walidah in the field of education in an effort to realize and advance education) including those who succeed in their business in the field of education is not only a theory, but actively proven to educate indigenous women of the 20th century and promote the religious education of women in the educational process. Done by Siti Walidah is held dormitory daughter-daughter from various regions in Indonesia, Siti Walidah actively assist the smooth implementation of the girls schools and then educate the women through the course and conduct pengajian of Islam and participate in the eradication of illiteracy. The role of Siti Walidah in the social field is to play an active role in the development and empowerment of the potential of women and increase the dignity of women. Siti Walidah builds and develops the potentials of women so that they are active in the development of activities as well as in the orphanage builder named Putri Aisyiyah and help the poor, orphans to make an activity within the community.
