Abstract

Almost every vehicle will need maintenance such as oil change, tire change, water radiator, brake, engine parts and much more. However, sometimes vehicle owners are less concerned with the condition of the vehicle and often ignore the treatment. This can be bad, it can even lead to an accident. Therefore, the monitoring system is designed to monitor the level of radiator water in vehicle tanks. The ultrasonic sensor will measure the water level of the radiator in the r eservoir tank. If the water level of the radiator in the tank is low then the pump will automatically recharge the radiator water and the buzzer will sound faster. The data from the ultrasonic sensor will be sent to the microcontroller with fuzzy logic. Ve hicle owners can access information in the form of water level radiator in the tank via wifi module and wifi router. So the problem of damage to the vehicle can be overcome quickly, easily, and efficiently.

Abstract

The shooting method using UAV (Unmaned Aerial Vehicle ) rides is being thoroughly studied and used in the telecommunication world because it has various benefits. The benefits of UAV are aerial shooting and monitoring process at a location. Monitoring using UAV system require a long distance to get maximum results. The problem is transceiver of antennas did not work optimally for long distances. In this study, the micro strip antenna is designed on the ground segment side using T-junction technique. T-junction is a power divider technique that can support impedance matching on transmission line especially for micro strip array antenna. The coupled technique that used in this paper is the proximity portion coupled with the same height of the upper and lower layers. Then, the materials using Epoxy FR-4 substrate with a dielectric constant 4.4 at a frequency of 5.8 GHz. The simulation and measurements resulted the microstrip antenna that has an unidirectional pattern, circular polarization center frequency at 5.8 GHz, with VSWR ≤ 2, the impedance value is 50 Ω, the gain is 8.459 dB, where is in accordance with the specifications of the desired antenna.

Abstract

Alpha - qwerty reverse is one part of the classical cryptographic algorithm that serves as the security of infor mation by encoding to information. The process of encryption of that information is encrypted and description. Alpha - qwerty reverse algorithm is a development of vigenere cipher cryptographic algorithms. Alpha - qwerty reverse differences in terms of number of characters that are more than vigenere cipher in which the alpha - qwerty reverse using 92 characters while vigenere cipher uses only 26 characters. Moreover, in terms of the use of character is also different. In vigenere cipher, the characters used an a lphabet sequence either in the original message (plaintext), a key or an encrypted message (ciphertext) whereas the alpha - qwerty reverse using the alphabetical order of the plaintext and key keyboard. Therefore, in this study will design a security applica tion that is text information with the cryptographic algorithm of alpha - qwerty reverse using a eclipse software. The aim of designing applications, namely to secure the important text information contained in the mobile phone based on android with the purp ose of storing or transmitting through a mobile phone communication service. From this study it can be concluded that alpha - qwerty reverse cryptographic algorithms can be implemented on the text information security applications designed and as the latest cryptographic algorithms to secure the information by generating a better level of security.

Abstract

Most of the bicycle par king sistems in open areas today still use the traditional method of using only a piece of paper provided by the parking attendants and in the open area without a guardrail so that the sense is still minimal supervision. Lack of efficiency of the parking p rocess so prone to cheating and crime theft becomes a weakness of the parking sistem in this open area. To solve the above problem then created a security sistem where bike parking by using RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification). RFID itself is a method of data communication by using a predetermined frequency to exchange data within a certain distance. To implement this bike security sistem using RFID sensors are controlled using Arduino Uno. The hardware used this parking sistem tool will be plac ed inside the box design mechanical bicycle rack made. The conclusion that can be drawn from making this research is the error rate of reading and RFID identification is 0%. Based on the test results, the maximum detection distance RFID tag customer agains t RFID reader is 4 cm. Overall, this bike safety sistem can be implemented as a prototype that has the potential to be developed and become an alternative solution for bicycle safety.

Abstract

Car Remote Control is a smaller size miniature car, which is controlled directly by the remote or joystick using transmitter module as a communication, in this journal propose design and realization of car remote control based on Internet of things using Firebase Cloud Messaging, first data from joystick application sent to the realtime database, and NodeMCU on car RC synchronizes the data from realtime database . The results obtained average value of delay from realtime database to NodeMCU is 1.191 second, while the value of sending data from the joystick application to Firebase is 3.13 Kb/s for upload and 2.28 Kb/s for download.

Abstract

Research to recognize hiraga na character based image processing has been widely practiced and even the accuracy level is close to 100%. However, the input image that used is still in the form of japanese characters print - out while the handwriting has not been studied. So in this stu dy tested the recognition of hiragana letters derived from handwriting format. Jpeg. Of the several related studies, the most commonly used compression approach for JPEG images is the DCT and DWT algorithms, so both algorithms are used in this study to be tested and compared their performance. In the system tested 45 images of 3 people handwriting hiragana character with KNN - based classification where previously 45 different images of the 3 people are trained by each DWT and DCT algorithms. The result is ba sed on the distance parameters that exist in the KNN algorithm, the DWT algorithm is superior to the DCT algorithm. The achievement of the maximum accuracy level obtained for each DWT - DCT algorithm is on the cityblock distance parameter 82.61% (DWT) and co rrelation distance 58.70% (DCT).

Abstract

Lahirnya Teknologi 4G LTE dengan segala kelebihan yang di janjikan dibanding dengan teknologi sebelumnya telah membawa kita ke era komunikasi data perangkat bergerak yang super cepat. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar perkembangan teknologi LTE saat ini. Maka, dilakukanlah penelitian terhadap performansi mobile internet di wilayah rural (Kenten Laut) dan inner city (Bukit Besar) di kota palembang. Yaitu dengan cara membandingkan RSRP, SINR, RSRQ dan Troughput dengan KPI Teori dan KPI Telkomsel. Keempat parameter Untuk wilayah ruraldidapatkan hasil yaitu RSRP dedicated mode sebesar 100% untuk ≥(-100 ) dBm, SINR dedicated mode 84.62% <0dBm, 99.59% <(-18) dBm dan troughput dedicated mode71.17% ≥ 2 Mbps. Untuk wilayah inner city didapatkan hasil yaitu RSRP dedicated mode 100% untuk ≥(-100 ) dBm,SINR dedicated mode sebesar 91.66% <0dBm, RSRQ dedicated mode 99.47% > (-18) dBm dan troughput dedicated mode 88.1% ≥ 2 Mbps. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata – rata kualitas dari faktor - faktor performansi inner city kota palembang sudah optimal. Sedangkanuntuk rural kota palembang masih butuh pengoptimalan.

Abstract

Website is one form of mass media that published through internet ne twork that can be accessed wherever and whenever. To be able to get a quality website must be done. By measuring the quality of a website, it can be known the user‘s perception of the website. In this study using WebQual method that has been modofied with the addition the dimension of user satisfactionwith the three main dimensions of WebQual 4.0 usability, information, service interaction. This research was conducted in the environment of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya. This research was conducted by using questionnaire. The population of this research is State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya collegers. The result obtained in this study is the development of a better website, it is found that the quality of information and quality of usability affects positive on user satisfaction. Quality of service interaction affects a negative on the usersatisfaction of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya user.

Abstract

Large-scale computer networks often face problems in data communications. Data transmission takes a long time due to the inappropriate selection of routing protocols. The selected routing protocol can not provide the best alternative path for get through the data packets. This research tested the ability of Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) routing protocol in the selection of the best path. As a comparison the chosen routing protocol is Routing Information Protocol version 2 (RIPv2). This research compares the best path generated by OSPF and RIPv2. OSPF is a routing protocol that often used in medium and large scale networks. OSPF distributes routing information between system autonomous routers (AS). OSPF is routing protocol that use link-state algorithm to build and calculate the shortest path to all known destination. Link-state algorithms are also known as dijkstra algorithm or shortest path first (SPF) algorithms. Dijkstra's algorithm is applied in the OSPF protocol to choose the best route to be taken by a data packet from a source address in order to arrive at the destination address with the value of the unit load (cost metric) the smallest. In graph theory, Dijkstra's algorithm is used to choose the shortest path between two vertices of a graph that is a representation of the network topology. Whereas RIPv2 is a distance vector protocol that uses a hop count in it's measurement. Path that have a lower hop count will be selected for get through the data packets. Based on experiments that have been carried out, the OSPF routing protocol can provide a selection of the best route (best path) to deliver data packets. While RIPv2 can not specifically generate the best path.
