Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan telur ayam ras serta menganalisis tingkat elastisitas permintaan telur ayam ras di Kecamatan Seruyan Hilir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan telur ayam ras meliputi harga telur ayam ras itu sendiri, harga ikan asin, harga ikan bandeng, pendapatan rumah tangga, jumlah anggota keluarga dan tingkat pendidikan ibu rumah tangga berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel terikat yaitu permintaan telur ayam ras. Secara individual faktor harga telur ayam ras itu sendiri, harga ikan asin, harga beras, pendapatan rumah tangga dan jumlah anggota keluarga berpengaruh nyata terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras sedangkan untuk harga ikan bandeng dan tingkat pendidikan formal ibu rumah tangga tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel terikat. Tingkat elastisitas permintaan telur ayam ras di kecamatan Seruyan hilir, untuk elastisitas harga bersifat inelastis, dimana suatu kenaikan harga telur ayam ras akan menyebabkan perubahan jumlah yang diminta lebih kecil dari perubahan harga. Nilai koefisien elastisitas harga adalah -0,175. Untuk elastisitas silang untuk harga ikan asin dan harga beras adalah negatif yang merupakan barang komplementer (pelengkap) dan positif terhadap ikan bandeng yang merupakan barang substitusi (pengganti). Sedangkan elastisitas pendapatan adalah positif 0,843 menunjukkan bahwa permintaan telur ayam ras merupakan elastisitas pendapatan inelastis yang bersifat barang normal yaitu apabila telur ayam ras mengalami kenaikan dalam permintaan sebagai akibat dari kenaikan pendapatan.Berdasarkan hasil ini, disarankan bahwa upaya lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan produksi telur ayam ras harus selalu dibuat dalam rangka memenuhi peningkatan kebutuhan konsumsi dan untuk mengejar standar yang ditetapkan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Seruyan.

Abstract

Agriculture is a very prestigious business sector, because it plays an important role in providing food for humanity. But apparently this does not automatically attract the attention of the community, especially the younger generation to pursue the field of agricultural business, especially graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture. Young people who choose a career in agriculture are required to have good entrepreneurial intelligence so that they can see an obstacle as a positive challenge. The purpose of this study was to determine entrepreneurial intelligence from graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture who chose a career as a business actor in agriculture. The research method in this study is a qualitative design. In-depth observation (Sugiyono, 2012) to see entrepreneurial intelligence possessed by graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture engaged in agribusiness. The results showed that graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture who are engaged in agriculture have entrepreneurial intelligence such as (1) having the courage to take risks, (2) being able to recognize their strengths or potentials, where they have a clear vision in life, (3) having emotional intelligence good, (4) Always oriented to the process and results, (5) Adaptive to change, which is always willing to learn, change and develop following changes in markets and the environment, (6) Never stop innovating in the course of its business, (7) Able to always collaborate with other parties and work together positively with each other so that all parties can develop and succeed together - (8) Always build a business network (friendship) with partners and stakeholders related to their business, (9) Getting used to always provide benefits to the environment, sharing and advancing together so that they always have a positive spirit for success.

Abstract

Bertambahnya populasi penduduk Indonesia, peningkatan pendapatan perkapita dan kesadaran masyarakat akan gizi makanan serta kebutuhan akan industri pangan dan pakan yang berbahan baku kedelai, dimasa mendatang proyeksi permintaan akan kedelai terus meningkat. Hanya sekitar 35 persen dari total kebutuhan yang dapat dipenuhi dari produksi dalam negeri. Keadaan ini tidak dapat dibiarkan terus-menerus, mengingat potensi lahan cukup luas, teknologi, dan sumberdaya lainnya cukup tersedia. Untuk menekan laju impor kedelai dapat diupayakan melalui berbagai strategi diantaranya peningkatan produktivitas, perluasan areal tanam dan peningkatan efisiensi pada faktorfaktor produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Pengaruh faktor-faktor produksi secara terhadap produksi usahatani kedelai, (2) Efisiensi faktor-faktor produksi secara teknis dan ekonomis pada usahatani kedelai, dan (3) Estimasi penambahan atau pengurangan faktor-faktor produksi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Banjarsari Kabupaten Ciamis. Metode yang digunakan adalah survai eksplanatory (Explanatory survey). Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik penarikan sampel berstrata dengan jumlah ukuran sampel sebanyak 97 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglass dan pendekatan fungsi produksi frontier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh penggunaan faktor produksi secara teknis, dimana lahan, benih dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh terhadap produksi pada lahan luas dan lahan sedang, pupuk organik hanya berpengaruh pada lahan luas. Pada lahan sempit, hanya faktor produksi lahan yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi. Secara ekonomis, analisis simultan variabel yang diamati baik itu pada lahan luas, sedang maupun pada lahan sempit berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi. Sedangkan secara parsial pada lahan luas dan lahan sedang variable lahan, benih dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata. Sedangkan pada lahan sempit, variabel lahan, urea, KCL dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi usahatani kedelai. Tingkat efisiensi secara teknis pada lahan luas, sedang dan sempit sudah mencapai tingkat yang efisien. Secara ekonomis pada lahan luas, sedang dan sempit tidak ada faktor produksi yang tepat efisien atau NPMXi/PXi=1. Faktor-faktor produksi kebanyakan berada pada kondisi yang tidak efisien baik itu pada lahan luas, sedang maupun sempit, dengan kata lain penggunaannya terlalu berlebihan sehingga perlu dikurangi.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country that relies on the agricultural sector. But the interest of the younger generation to work in this sector is diminishing. One alternative to overcome this is to develop the agricultural sector that is integrated with the tourism sector (agro-tourism). Taman Herbal Insani (THI) is an agrotourism that has the concept of quality and affordable herbal tourism education tour. The purpose of  research is to determine the potential attractiveness of THI agro-tourism and determine the THI agro-tourism development strategy. The research design used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data analysis uses analytical hierarchy process.  The results of this research show that the attraction of THI agro-tourism is diverse and has the potential to be developed : (1) natural attractions such as  landscapes of various types of medicinal plants and animals, cultural attractions in the form of gazebos with Sundanese cultural nuances, various traditional games and artificial attractions, namely swimming pools, spots photo selfie, playgrounds, fish ponds, camping ground. (2) Amenities in the form of learning opportunities to know the technical cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, swimming, camping, traditional fun games, family gatherings, selfie photos, buying plant seeds and herbal medicines, (3) accessibility to locations is very good asphalt roads through transportation modes general, (4) supporting facilities in the form of the availability of clean water infrastructure, electricity networks and the internet. The strategy for developing THI are done through improving the quality of management in the form of improving the quality of excellent services for tourists, maintaining and adding facilities and infrastructure, building a positive and informative image in promotion on social media and community empowerment by building official community management and development of herbal plants in the community

Abstract

Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan (OKUS) is one of the regencies in South Sumatera with the largest coffee plantation area. Despite the decrease in the plantation sector, the number of household coffee farmers increased by 7.63 percent, based on the Agriculture Cencus of 2013, compared to that of 2003. The question is whether the coffee farming profitable for the farmers. To describe the farmers characteristics and to analyze the economic feasibility of the coffee farming in OKUS, the study on the data obtained from the Cost-Benefit Coffee Farming Survey (SOUT) of the 2014 was carried out using descriptive and quantitative analysis of R/C Ratio. As a result, the coffee farming is profitable and feasible especially in terms of legal, social and economical aspects. However, the farmers are still weak in the technical and business management aspect, due to their traditional management practises. Demographically, the farmers are dominated by low-educated men and each household farmer manages 1,000-3,000 coffee trees with the tree age in between 8 and 15 years. The household housings are categorically as good. This study reccommends an effort of institutional empowerment and capacity building on the farmers as well as a strategy in the agriculture activity, either in the farmers, the associated companies, and the local government, in order to increase the quality of the coffee production.

Abstract

Coffee shop entrepreneurs must not only be able to sell their products and services, but also must have the ability to understand consumer tastes. This study aims to examine the behavior of coffee shop consumers from aspects of coffee buying patterns, preferences, satisfaction and customer loyalty. The study was conducted in 2 coffee shops namely Jigana Coffee Shop and Kedai Kopi Inspirasi located in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency, West Java. This study uses a quantitative research design conducted by survey methods on 27 consumers of Jigana Coffee Shop and 45 consumers of Kedai Kopi Inspirasi obtained through systematic sampling techniques through the calculation of the Cochran formula. Data analyzed using frequency distribution tables. The results showed that the pattern of coffee purchases by consumers in Jigana Coffee Shop and Coffee Shop Inspiration mostly with the reason simply wanted to try and want to get a comfortable atmosphere by drinking coffee in a coffee shop and chatting with friends or spouse around 17:00 to 21:00. Discounts and "buy one get one" promotions greatly affect consumer interest in visiting coffee shops. While in terms of consumer preferences, the most preferred types of drinks are Espresso based and Manual Brew. As for the types of drinks the most preferred by consumers are french fries and toast. Then regarding satisfaction and loyalty, most consumers were satisfied after a visit to the coffee shop and were interested in making a repeat visit.

Abstract

Food crops added value is obtained by the process of being processed products through the role of agro-industry. In the era of globalization, Indonesia must immediately implement the development of agro-industries to produce highly competitive trade products and be able to gain global market share. The success of implementing agro-industry is the support and support of the government to increase farmers' income in an effort to realize their welfare. This paper aims to express more comprehensively of food crop-based agro-industry products development acceleration to produce quality processed products, and agricultural functions roles institutions empowerment and high efficiency seriously and sustainably. The acceleration of the implementation of agro-industry is predicted as one of the solutions to efficiency, effectiveness, continuity and the continuity of the trade in processed products rather than raw materials, labor and capital of processed products. It is necessary to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian agroindustry products which have been dominated by raw materials, which only rely on comparative advantages of natural resource abundance and uneducated labor. Obtained agricultural products processed added value that are competitive and meet the high demands of quality and hygiene (GMP), increase in income and welfare of farmers and processed business actors, as well as the transfer of exports of raw materials to processed products. Thanks to the efforts of RMU to process rice into rice, rice flour and crackers (made from rice and rice flour), the RC ratio value of approximately 1.53, 1.28 and 5.91 showed business feasibility and obtained value-added products from processing operations which increased acquisition income. The development and improvement of technological innovations in processed products, investments and HR of business actors is predicted to be able to become the "driving engine" of strong economic progress, especially if the empowerment and institutional development function in line with the development policy programs implemented. Agro-industry products are expected to be able to reach the export market, be able to create jobs and increase interest in young labor in agriculture, able to increase income and the economy in rural areas, and be able to drive the development of rural industrialization.

Abstract

Dalam peningkatan produksi hortikultura, khususnya sayuran di Indonesia selama ini masih menggunakan sistem pertanian konvensional dengan masukan input luar. Semakin tinggi biaya produksi terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman budidaya, maka akan mengakibatkan semakin tinggi pula masukan input luar seperti pestisida dan pupuk yang diberikan terhadap tanaman.Banyak orang yang menanam kangkung hanya untuk sekedar dikonsumsi sendiri dan melepas hobi bercocok tanam. Namun dalam bercocok tanam sering kali yang menjadikan masalah adalah lahan yang dimiliki tidak dapat ditanami tanaman sesukanya. Jika ingin menanam tanaman, maka dibutuhkan lahan tanah yang cukup luas. Daerah perkotaan saat ini sudah jarang memiliki lahan yang luas yang dapat digunakan sebagai media bercocok tanam. Akan tetapi saat ini banyak berbagai cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk sekedar meluapkan hobi bertanam, salah satunya adalah dengan budidaya kangkung dalam polybag dengan tambahan sekam padi bekas ayam petelur. Polybag adalah menanam tanaman ke dalam kantong plastik hitam. Cara ini dapat digunakan untuk membudidayakan tanaman kangkung, selain tidak membutuhkan lahan yang luas cara ini juga sangat mudah dan hemat untuk dilakukan. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil tanaman kangkung darat ( Ipomoea reptans) dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sekam padi yang berasal dari kotoran ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kangkung darat (Ipomoea reptans), menggunakan bahan dalam berbudidayanya seperti benih kangkung ( Ipomoea reptans), dan sekam padi yang berasal dari kotoran ayam. Budidaya tanaman kangkung merupakan budidaya tanaman yang menggunakan tahapan-tahapan budidaya seperti langkah awal adalah sediakan media tanam dengan menggunakna polybag,masukan tanah dan campuran sekam padi bekas kotoran ayam ke dalam polybag, usahakan untuk memberikan pupuk organik sehingga tanaman yang akan dihasilkan akan terbebas dari bahan kimia yang berbahaya, pilihlah bibit kangkung yang unggul dengan kualitas yang baik dan tidak busuk atau cacat. Penyemaian bibit kangkung dilakukan ke dalam polybag. Setelah bibit kangkung mulai tumbuh hingga terdapat 3 sampai 5 helai daun lalu pindahkan ke dalam polybag yang sudah disiapkan. Dalam satu polybag dapat menampung sekitar 3 sampai 5 batang kangkung untuk mendapatkan nutrisi yang cukup dan juga dapat tumbuh dengan baik. Lakukan penyiraman dalam waktu 2 kali dalam sehari agar tanah tidak kering dan juga tidak terlalu lembab. Hasil analisis usaha kangkung darat memiliki nilai keuntungan yaitu berdasarkan perhitungan R/C ratio yaitu diperoleh 2,59 dengan menggunakan sekam padi bekas kotoran ayam petelur dan yang tidak menggunakan sekam padi ( control) diperoleh R/C ratio yaitu 1,71. Jadi usaha kangkung darat, setiap Rp. 1,- biaya yang dikeluarkan akan mendapatkan penerimaan sebesar Rp. 2,59 (perlakuan dengan menggunakan sekam padi bekas kotoran aya) dan Rp. 1,71 ( pada perlakuan control).

Abstract

Lebakmuncang Tourism Village is a village that has natural potential, cultural potential, and  human resources potential to be developed into tourist attractions. However, in the development of this tourist village has a fluctuating number of visitors. The research to analyzes visitor's perceptions of the attractiveness of Lebakmuncang Tourism Village. Visitors' perceptions are viewed from the concept of 4A tourism namely Attractiveness, Amenity, Accessibility, and Ancilliary. This research was conducted in the Lebakmuncang Tourism Village, Ciwidey District, Bandung Regency, West Java. The research design used a descriptive quantitative design with survey methods. Data collection uses interviews, questionnaires, observations, and literature study. The sample selection of visitors uses purposive sampling with the Slovin formula and produces 50 respondents. The results showed that the visitor's perception of the attractiveness of the Lebakmuncang Tourism Village was considered very good on Attraction and Ancillary and good on Amenity and Accessibility.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors of production that affect oyster mushroom farming and analyze the level of efficiency of the use of production factors on oyster mushroom farming in UPT Agriculture Area Sukaraja. The method used in this research is survey with explorative descriptive approach. The data used are primary data secondary data obtained through interviews, questionnaires and literature study. The results analsis show a total coefficient value of 2.143. This value indicates the scale of oyster mushroom production is in phase I or increasing return to scale (IRS). The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 92.3 percent means that 92.3 percent of oyster mushroom production can be explained by variable use of production factors, while the remaining 7.7 percent is influenced by other variables besides the use of production factors not included in the model. The use of production factors that significantly influence the variation of oyster mushroom production are land and sawdust. While seeds, bran labor polybag, lime, paralon ring, rubbe and paper have no significant effect.
