Abstract

The tourist area of Mount Galunggung in Tasikmalaya Regency has a tourist attraction for tourists because it has many destinations in one tourist area. Tourist attractions in the tourist area of Mount Galunggung are crater attractions, hot air baths, waterfalls (waterfalls) and Galunggung Shelter coffee shop. The tourism potential of Mount Galunggung is not yet optimal, partly because there is no development of coffee tourism as a tourist attraction that is expected to attract tourists. Therefore all stakeholders must implement the concept of community-based agro-tourism in the Galunggung area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the development of community-based coffee agro-tourism in the Mount Galunggung Tourism Area, Tasikmalaya Regency. Data collection was carried out using a census-based questionnaire. Community Based Tourism (CBT) is a tour that pays attention to culture, social and environment supported by the participation of local communities. Economic, social and environmental aspects are implemented using an average index of perception of the people involved in the development of coffee agro-tourism. Based on the average index the results of the study show that agrotourism is based on economic and environmental aspects in the high category, while social aspects are categorized as very low. Development of community-based agro-tourism can be done by improving aspects that are still not optimal, namely social aspects. Planning for community-based agro-tourism development can be done by improving the social aspects of one through stakeholders by involving the FGD as a whole to discuss which developments have been carried out so that community-based coffee agro-tourism can be developed.

Abstract

The procurement of raw materials for the red chili processing industry, the majority still comes from traders / suppliers. Chili starts procurement, processing to obtain added value, until marketing should be able to anticipate the limitations of the rights of farmers / gapotan groups that are more burdened with obligations. This paper aims to examine and express the role and benefits of chilli in the processing of red chillies to the marketing of processed products, related to efforts to accelerate the development of processing and agribusiness industries to improve the welfare of red chilli farmers. The benefits of partnership for farmer groups are the existence of market certainty, and relatively stable profits. The benefit for partners is the certainty of obtaining raw materials in accordance with the required specifications. The partner still gives the opportunity to sell to the free market if the price is better. The partnership development perspective is still very open, among others due to: (a) both parties obtain mutually beneficial benefits; (b) demand for processed products increases along with population growth. processing business is the transfer of raw material into highly-processed processed products that are able to meet the high demands of quality and hygienic (GMP) processed product requirements, as well as closely related to the increase in income from the acquisition of product value that is expected to realize and prosper farmers and businessmen , able to create jobs and increase interest in young workers on agriculture. The importance of changing the old mindset and paradigm of agriculture through the empowerment and development of chillies in processing and red chili processed agribusiness products is expected to be able to power the development of industrialization and the economy in rural areas.

Abstract

Upaya memaksimalkan agar pencapaian Program Kelembagaan Lumbung Pangan tersebut berhasil, diperlukan adanya peningkatan kapasitas sumberdaya manusia, salah satu upaya tersebut melalui kegiatan pembinaan bagi Kelompok Lumbung Pangan. Dengan demikian pelaksanaan program tersebut diharapkan Kelompok  Lumbung Pangan dapat menjadi kelembagaan ekonomi yang dimiliki dan dikelola petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas anggota kelompok dalam pengembangan lumbung pangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus pada Kelompok Lumbung  Pangan Jambesari di Desa Sidaharja Kecamatan Pamarican Kabupaten Ciamis, jumlah anggota 25 orang sebagai responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa aktivitas Kelompok Lumbung Pangan berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Agriculture sector is a sector that take a lot of labor in Indonesia. There is a promblem with employment in agriculture sector, the high amount of old age labor and labor with low education. The lack of interest with agriculture from young generation is one of the causes that problem is happened. IAAS Indonesia is an organization that can be a place for young generation to give their aspiration about agriculture in Indonesia. The purpose of the study was to analyze (1) the interst to work in agriculture field of student as a part of IAAS Indonesia and (2) a correlations between interest factor and the interest to work in agricultural field. Data is collected by using questionnaires with a member of IAAS Indonesia. This research is a quantitative study  with descriptive survey techniques . The study was conducted to 88 students through the use of the Slovin formula.The result show that an interest to work in agriculture field for student of member IAAS Indonesia is in high category and factor which connect with student interest are  personality of the student, emotional factor, economics motive and condition of the work.

Abstract

Currently the development of the financial services industry with a touch of technological innovation or called financial technology (Fintech) began to penetrate into the agricultural sector, even utilization is used to work on the scale of business at the farm level. One form of Fintech implementation in the agricultural sector is crowdfunding which is a fund raising activity for farmers capital by online using digital media (internet). One of the crowdfunding platforms in Indonesia which is engaged in agriculture is Crowde. This study aims to find out the description of crowdfunding management concepts conducted by Crowde as access to alternative capital based on digital technology on agricultural activities and to know the response of farmers partners to the concept of crowdfunding conducted by Crowde. The research technique used is case study with descriptive qualitative design using Milles Model and Huberman approach. The results show that during the planning phase, Crowde conducts farmer profilling and project analysis, and establishes provision fees. While the implementation stage of crowdfunding involves raising funds on the website, channeling capital through a farm shop and refunding investors through the Wallet feature. While the controlling phase takes place during the project through the project monitoring and reporting system. Crowde partner farmers showed a positive response to the crowdfunding scheme as access to capital. Most of the partner farmers say the process or procedure of the capital scheme is very easy to follow and judge that the crowdfunding model is very useful and suitable as access to farmers' capital.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Tingkat produktivitas usahatani minapadi, dan (2) Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas usahatani minapadi. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan studi kasus pada kelompok tani Ligar Jaya di Kelurahan Cibunigeulis, Kecamatan Bungusari, Kota Tasikmalaya yang memiliki anggota kelompok sebanyak 12 orang dan diambil seluruhnya sebagai sampel penelitian. Produktivitas usahatani minapadi didekati dengan menggunakan produktivitas faktor total dimana tingkat produktivitas diukur dengan menggunakan TFPIP. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas dianalisis dengan menggunakan persamaan regresi linier bergandar dimana pendugaan parameter dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas minimum sebesar 0,7351, maksimum 1,0000, dan rata-rata 0,8775. Umur dan pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas usahatani minapadi, sedangkan pengalaman, ukuran keluarga dan jenis kelamin tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas usahatani minapadi.Kata kunci: usahatani, minapadi, produktivitas, faktor-faktor

Abstract

One of the plantation crops that have commercial value is tobacco. The motivation of farmers as farm managers is defined as a condition that encourages farmers to do farming activities, namely cultivating tobacco plants. This study identified factors that influence the motivation of farmers to grow tobacco in Suboh Village, Suboh Subdistrict, Situbondo Regency. The location of the study was determined purposively with a sample of 20 respondent. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression techniques with variables of age, education, experience, number of family members, production cost and income. The result showed that education, experience and number of families influenced the motivation of farmers in tobacco cultivation in Suboh Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Cihideung, Kecamatan Parongpong, Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan menggunakan menggunakan metode survei, dengan pendekatan desk research terhadap kajian lapangan. Objek penelitian adalah pelaku agribisnis florikultura dari hulu sampai hilir yang berada dalam rantai pasokan. Hasil wawancara dan observasi tentang fenomena kajian lapangan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis dijadikan dasar untuk membuat gambaran secara sistematis, faktual dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta, sifat-sifat serta hubungan fenomena yang diteliti secara objektif tentang agribisnis florikultura. Model rantai pasokan agribisnis florikultura, memiliki dua aliran, yaitu aliran produk dan aliran uang. Aliran produk berupa bunga pot dan bunga potong, sedangkan aliran uang adalah perpindahan uang mulai dari konsumen samai pada pelaku paling hulu dalam sistem rantai pasokan florikultura. Terdapat tiga rantai pasokan dalam agribisnis florikultura, baik bunga pot maupun bunga potong. Panjangnya rantai pasokan tersebut, menyebabkan perbedaan harga (margin) antar harga produk yang diterima petani (produsen) dengan harga yang dibayarkan konsumen memiliki perbedaan yang sangat jauh. Kondisi ini disebabkan pasar produk bunga tidak terstruktur dan petani sangat tergantung kepada pengepul di desa sebagai tempat menjual bunganya. Berdasarkan temuan dan hasil analisis rantai pasokan agribisnis florikultura tersebut, maka upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan petani (produsen) agrbisnis florikultura adalah: 1) Usahatani pada teknologi (Non-land base agriculture, 2) Kredit pertanian, 3) Budaya enterpreneur, dan 4) Pusat pasar bunga di tingkat desa atau kecamatan.

Abstract

Food supply chain scarcity comes to the pinch and coerces us to make any food diversification for food security's sake. The eggs are one of the commodities to keep secure. Otherwise, the fish odor of duck egg often become caused by people less interest to consume duck egg. Instead, it has a higher nutrient composition than chicken as well. One of the alternate ways is Jintan leaf (Plectranthus amboinicus). Jintan leaf has the potency to eliminate odor sensory toward duck egg due to its bioflavonoid, phenol, volatile compound. This substance hypnotized could decrease and eliminate odor levels in duck egg. The research was carried out to know the most proper jintan leaf concentrations to eliminate salty duck egg odor. It used an explorative experimental method by Complete Block Design with three replication and continued by orthogonal contrast test to know which component is more prefer according to consumers. The odor of salty duck eggs decreased and began to decrease even at the 25-gram concentrate. Within the higher concentration, the higher decrease in odor sensory. For the economic aspect, we are not necessary to close in the highest concentration, but we suggest at the early odor sensory is disappeared, by 50 grams for 40 salty duck eggs. There is the other advance to further research, such as prolonging quality. This finding would be beneficial to producer and consumer and also researcher as the new variance of product.

Abstract

Pesantren selama ini hanya diidentikkan dengan lembaga pencetak ulama atau pemikir agama. Pesantren pada saat ini telah bertransformasi menjadi salah satu lembaga penyedia sumber daya manusia (human resource) di segala bidang. Sektor pertanian merupakan lembaga yang mandapatkan manfaat perubahan tersebut melalui Pusat Pelatihan Perdesaan Swadaya (P4S) berbasis pesantren. P4S selama ini diidentikkan sebagai lembaga milik dan lahir dari keswadayaan petani, namun ternyata banyak masalah atau kendala yang dihadapi, diantaranya adalah ketergantungan terhadap bantuan pemerintah, keterbatasan jejaring kemitraan, bagaimana menjaga kontinuitas usaha, pemasaran produk, serta diversifikasi usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan kinerja P4S berbasis pesantren. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 140 orang anggota P4S. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P4S berperan dalam kategori tinggi dan sedang, yang berarti P4S kurang berperan maksimal pada sebagian kegiatan. Sedangkan kinerja P4S dalam kategori sedang, hal ini menandakan bahwa P4S tidak berkinerja baik pada semua indikator.
