Abstract

Upaya Pengembangan Agribisnis Ternak Domba Melalui Perbaikan Mutu Pakan dan Peningkatan Peran Kelompoktani di Kecamatan Panumbangan Kabupaten Ciamis dengan mengambil lokasi Kelompoktani Mekar 1 Desa Golat. Tujuannya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam pengembangan agribisnis ternak domba melalui perbaikan mutu pakan, meningkatkan peran dan fungsi kelompoktani secara optimal. Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan petani dalam pemilihan pakan yang memenuhi syarat kualitas dan kuantitas pakan yang baik, meningkatkan pertambahan berat badan harian ternak domba serta meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Penyuluhan yang dilakukan secara individual maupun kelompok. Metode yang digunakan adalah pertemuan kelompok, ceramah, diskusi, anjangsana dan demostrasi cara. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi subsistem agro input dan agroproduksi diantaranya dalam aspek pemilihan bibit, perbaikan mutu pakan, perkandangan, perawatan ternak, pencegahan, pengobatan penyakit, pengelolaan reproduksi dan subsistem pemasaran hasil. Pembinaan dilakukan pada 20 orang peternak sebagai sampel. Kaji terap teknologi dilaksanakan pada 8 ekor ternak domba dengan kisaran umur 6-8 bulan yang dibagi menjadi 2 perlakuan. Kelompok pertama (Po) diberi rumput saja (Kebiasaan petani), kelompok kedua (P1) diberi rumput 10 % dari berat badan ditambah 200 gr dedak padi dan Bioplus 300 gr per ekor (Satu dosis pemberian).

Abstract

Rice is a strategic food commodity in Indonesia. Disruption to the availability of rice will disrupt economic, social and political stability in Indonesia. This research aims to see a general picture of rice availability in Indonesia, as well as identify and analyze factors that influence availability. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series data for 14 years from January 2004 to December 2017. The data is processed using descriptive analysis and path analysis using the Statistical Data Analysis (STATA) program. General description of the development of rice availability in Indonesia shows an increase every year with a growth of 3.39%. The increased availability was supported by 'policies issued by the government such as policies in the production sector in the form of input subsidies (seeds and fertilizers), facilities and infrastructure, subsidized outputs for Government Purchasing Prices (HPP), the import sector in the form of import regulations and import tariffs. Based on a path analysis of the model of Indonesian rice availability, production and imports have a direct and significant effect on the availability of rice in Indonesia

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of probiotics Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium sp on variable cost, income and profit layers hens was infected with Escherichia coli. About 120 layers at 25 weeks of age were randomized into six treatments. The treatment consisted of factors a (infection and non-infection Escherichia coli) and factor b (basal feed, AGP and probiotics). The results of the study gave probiotics an effect (p <0.05) on variable cost, income and profit. Infection factors have an effect (p <0.05) on income and profit, but have no effect (p> 0.05) on variable cost. There was interaction between probiotic and infection factors (p <0.05) on income and profit, but there was no interaction (p> 0.05) between probiotic and infection factors on variable cost. The highest variable cost was found in the treatment of non-infectious probiotics is Rp 13.594, the highest income was treated with non-infectious probiotics is Rp 26.564, the highest profit was treated with non-infectious probiotics is Rp 12.969. It could be concluded that the administration of probiotics can produce good production performance.

Abstract

Beberapa indikator empirik yang sering digunakan dalam pengkajian efisiensi pemasaran di antaranya adalah margin pemasaran dan transmisi harga dari pasar konsumen kepada petani atau ke pasar produsen. Adapun transmisi harga yang rendah mencerminkan inefisiensi pemasaran karena hal itu menunjukkan bahwa perubahan harga yang terjadi di tingkat konsumen tidak seluruhnya diteruskan kepada petani, dengan kata lain transmisi harga berlangsung secara tidak sempurna. Pola transmisi harga seperti ini biasanya terjadi jika pedagang memiliki kekuatan monopsoni sehingga mereka dapat mengendalikan harga beli dari petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pembentukan harga cabai merah keriting dengan analisis harga komoditas, data yang digunakan adalah data time series harian harga cabai merah keriting selama setahun pada tahun 2014 yang  bersumber dari Dinas Pertanian Tanaman Pangan Jawa Barat dan analisis menggunakan program Eviews 8. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan harga cabai merah keriting bisa dilakukan dengan analisis harga komoditas pertanian hal ini bisa menunjukkan sebagai indikator kesehatan pasar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi tertinggi berada antara PI Caringin dan PI Gedebage persentase perubahannya 99 %, artinya perubahan harga yang terjadi di PI Caringin di transmisikan secara sempurna  ke PI Gedebage. Pembentukan harga dapat dilihat juga dengan analisis integrasi pasar, analisis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pasar mana yang dominan dalam pembentukan harga cabai merah keriting. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kenaikan harga cabai merah keriting 1 rupiah di sentra produksi Cikajang akan menaikkan harga cabai merah keriting sebesar 0.77 rupiah (perubahan 77 %) di PI Kramat Jati, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa PI Kramat jati dominan pembentuk harga cabai merah keriting.

Abstract

Chili is one of the leading national vegetable commodities and has quite high economic value. The need for red cayenne pepper continues to increase every year in line with the increasing population and the development of industries that need raw cayenne pepper. The purpose of this study is to analyze the cost, income and efficiency of cayenne pepper farming in Cigalontang District. Research respondents were 30 farmers. The results showed the revenue of cayenne pepper farming in Cigalontang Subdistrict amounted to Rp 130,733,510/ha/year, cash costs Rp 69,582,450/ha/year, and a total cost of Rp 73,765,150. The cayenne pepper farming is advantageous from the income of Rp  61,151,060. The efficiency of cayenne farming from cash costs is 1.88 and from a total cost of 1.77.

Abstract

Consumption of vegetables in the community continues to increase along with the increase in population. Hydroponics is an innovation in agriculture that was developed to increase vegetable production in order to support national food security. This study aims to determine public perception on the Starterkit Wick Hydroponic method of vegetable plants. The location of the study was conducted in Wawowanggu District, Kendari City. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative analysis method with a Likert Scale which is used to measure attitudes, opinions and people's perceptions of the Starterkit Wick Hydroponics method of vegetable plants. Based on the research results obtained by community perceptions of the Starterkit Wick Hydroponics program for vegetable crops based on factors such as narrow land use, good quality, free of pests and diseases, practical, many nutrients, rapid plant growth, suitable for urban areas and as agro-tourism. In general and overall public perceptions of the hydroponic method for starterkit wick systems are at an average value of 3.58 with a high category

Abstract

Jagung (Zea mays) merupakan salah satu komoditas strategis dalam perekonomian Indonesia, karena merupakan bahan makanan penghasil karbohidrat kedua setelah padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui besarnya biaya antara usahatani jagung panen muda dengan panen pipilan (2). Mengetahui pendapatan usahatani jagung panen muda dan panen pipilan, (3) mengetahui kelayakan usahatani jagung di Kabupaten Serang Provinsi Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey. Metode penentuan sampel dengan cara multistage random sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 101 petani jagung. Data dianalisis dengan cara tabulasi dan menggunakan rumus biaya, pendapatan usahatani dan R/C ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) Rata-rata besarnya biaya usahatani jagung panen muda per hektar per musim tanam Rp 5.343.950,00 sedangkan biaya usahatani jagung panen pipilan sebesar Rp 5.762.211,00 per hektar per musim tanam; 2) Rata-rata besarnya pendapatan usahatani jagung panen muda sebesar Rp. 10.217.411,00 per hektar per musim tanam. Sedangkan pendapatan dari usahatani jagung panen pipilan sebesar Rp 10.668.564,00 per hektar per musim tanam; 3) R-C ratio untuk usahatani jagung panen muda 2,91 sedangkan besarnya R/C untuk usahatani jagung panen pipilan 2,85. Dengan demikian, usahatani jagung baik yang menggunakan sistim panen muda atau panen pipilan di Kabupaten Serang layak untuk dikembangkan.

Abstract

Riverbanks are land lines on the left and right side of the river, generally planted with plants whose roots are firmly bound to the ground or also with seasonal crops such as rice, as well as in the citanduy riverbanks. Risk is something that must be faced by anyone, the ability of farmers to manage risk is interesting to learn in order to describe what risks are faced in farming, especially rice. The purpose of this study is to: 1) Identify the types of risks faced by rice farmers; 2) Analyzing the risks of production, costs and income of rice farming; and, 3) Knowing how farmers deal with the risks of rice farming. The study was conducted on 31 rice farmers in Manggungsari Village, Rajapolah District, Tasikmalaya Regency using the Survey Method. The analysis uses descriptive analysis and risk analysis (a Coefficient of Variation/ CV). The results showed that the types of risks faced by farmers in rice farming were disruption of crop pest organisms (pests, diseases and weeds), fluctuations in the price of grain/rice, slow construction of facilities (irrigation, roads, warehouses), damage to equipment production due to continuous use, and the difficulty in finding farm capital loans. Based on the analysis of risk shows that the risk of production, costs and income are categorized low. Furthermore, the method chosen by farmers in dealing with risks before conducting rice farming or experiencing risks, farmers first make a joint plan with farmer groups and agricultural extension workers, during the production period when entering the dry season, more farmers to improve existing waterways for fear of drought land and after run the risk, farmers continue to do their farming while looking for other jobs to earn additional income.

Abstract

One of the biggest threats in the world of agriculture is the occurrence of global climate change which is likely to result in crop failure. Agriculture and climate change have a very close connection, because agricultural sector is very dependent and very vulnerable to climate change, so that the knowledge of farmers in the magnitude of climate change is needed. This study aims to examine the extent to which farmers' knowledge of climate change is happening and the impacts caused by climate change, especially on rice. This research was carried out using qualitative design with "case study" techniques, using primary data and secondary data. Determination of informants was carried out purposively, namely farmers who had done farming for ± 10 years who experienced crop failure and who were not with their land ownership status. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews and literature studies. The design of data analysis uses descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that farmers who experience crop failure and who have harvested already know and feel the changes that occur such as changes in planting, changes in temperature, changes in rainfall, extreme weather, and pest attacks, but farmers have not been able to explain what climate change own. The impact felt by farmers due to climate change is that farmers experience a decline in yields, increased pest attacks, increased risk of crop failure and a decrease in farmers' income.

Abstract

Plastic waste has become one of the causes of environmental problems in Indonesia. The production of plastic waste that uses non-biodegradable materials every year always increases. DKI Jakarta is one of the cities with the most plastic waste production in Indonesia. Increased public awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability, marked by the emergence of the use of bio-plastic as an effort to reduce plastic waste. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine consumer perceptions and purchasing decisions on the use of bio-plastic in Kini & Nanti Coffee. This study uses quantitative research designs and survey methods using questionnaires as an aid in conducting interviews. The analysis used in this study is the validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis, factor analysis, and Spearman rank correlation analysis. The results showed that the most dominant factor influencing consumer perceptions was quality, the most dominant factor influencing purchase decisions was problem recognition and consumer perceptions significantly affected purchasing decisions.
