Abstract

Fruit commodity has high market demand and has economic value. One of them is a citrus fruit which has an excellent possibility to develop. Availability, continuity, and quantity of quality local fruit produced are still limited. Citrus encourages the entry of imported fruit in large quantities and of relatively good quality. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze consumer preferences and behavior towards purchasing decisions of local oranges and imported citrus fruits in Tasikmalaya City and the attributes most considered by consumers in purchasing decisions for local oranges and imported citrus fruits in Tasikmalaya city. The quantitative research method was used on 90 respondents of local and imported citrus fruit consumers. The following analysis tools used in this study were multivariate analysis, Fishbein, and conjoin. Based on multivariate analysis results, it is known that Simultaneously and Partially Consumer Behavior influences the Purchase Decision on Local Citrus Fruits and Imported Oranges in Tasikmalaya. Based on the multi-attribute analysis of local oranges and imported oranges in Tasikmalaya, it is known that the value of consumer attitudes towards the attributes of imported citrus fruits is higher than local oranges, in addition, the results of the conjoint analysis, it is known that the most critical attributes according to consumers are different for local and imported oranges. Local oranges' attributes are considered essential regarding the trader's taste, peel color, price, aroma, and textureKomoditas buah-buahan memiliki permintaan pasar yang tinggi dan bernilai ekonomis. Salah satunya adalah buah jeruk yang memiliki kemungkinan menguntungkan untuk dikembangkan. Ketersediaan, kualitas, kuantitas, kontinyuitas buah lokal yang dihasilkan belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan penduduk yang terus meningkat. Sehingga pemenuhannya dengan mengimpor buah jeruk dari luar. Maka dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis perilaku konsumen dalam pengambilan keputusan membeli buah jeruk impor dan buah jeruk lokal di Kota Tasikmalaya, dan atribut yang paling dipertimbangkan konsumen dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk membeli buah jeruk lokal dan buah jeruk impor di kota Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian kuantitatif terhadap konsumen buah jeruk lokal dan konsumen buah jeruk impor sebanyak 90 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis multivariat dan, Fishbein. Hasil analisis menunjukkan secara simultan dan parsial perilaku konsumen dapat mempengaruhi keputusan dalam membeli buah jeruk di Tasikmalaya. Sikap konsumen terhadap atribut buah jeruk lokal lebih rendah daripada buah jeruk impor. Bagi konsumen atribut rasa, warna kulit, harga, aroma, tekstur pada jeruk lokal merupakan hal sangat penting yang perlu diperhatikan oleh penjual.

Abstract

Penyuluh pertanian merupakan ujung tombak suksesnya pembangunan pertanian. Sejauh mana peran penyuluh pertanian terhadap produksi padi sawah petani adalah tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini. Lokasi penelitian di Tasikmalaya. Penelitian menggunakan metode sampling sederhana, Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara dan observasi terhadap 68 responden petani padi sawah,,kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluh berperan terhadap dinamika petani dalam memproduksi padi sawah. Penyuluh pertanian menunjukkan kinerja yang baik sebagai pembimbing maupun konsultan. Namun dalam hal penerapan teknologi belum  mampu menggerakkan  petani  oleh karena  kepemilikan lahan yang sempit. Demikian juga penyuluh sebagai organisator belum begitu berperan karena petani lebih mempercayakan ketua kelompok sebagai organisator. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan peningkatan peran penyuluh pertanian agar mencapai kategori baik atau sangat baik.

Abstract

Risk preferences of farmers determine to adoption of a technology. This study aims to determine risk preferences of cabbage farmers in Baso Sub-district. Analysis of risk preferences using a model of risk preferences Kumbhakar 2002. Results show that organic cabbage farmers are risk-averse, impacting the slow adoption of organic farming.

Abstract

Coconut products are mostly traditional export Indonesia. Coconut products seed is copra exports and coconut oil. The determination of product price coconut export determined by reference the world market often known only by some side. Asymmetrical market information received by producers can harm producers. Fluent market information can help improve the welfare of producers and increase the speed reaction producers on changes in the market. Through research, market integration is expected to determine the level of integration of Indonesian market reference world markets. Benefit from the study that can be done the next step and anticipation of to increase the market information for producers. Eventually with the market information obtained can improve producers when reaction that is a massive market, and the welfare of oil producer. To assess integration this market used method of var/vecm. The result showed that the Indonesian coconut by integrated with coconut the world market. On the Indonesian market, market integration that happened between copra market indonesia and palm oil market indonesia is market integration in line because of only coconut oil prices significant on the amount of copra Indonesia, and vice versa.

Abstract

Food supply chain scarcity comes to the pinch and coerces us to make any food diversification for food security's sake. The eggs are one of the commodities to keep secure. Otherwise, the fish odor of duck egg often become caused by people less interest to consume duck egg. Instead, it has a higher nutrient composition than chicken as well. One of the alternate ways is Jintan leaf (Plectranthus amboinicus). Jintan leaf has the potency to eliminate odor sensory toward duck egg due to its bioflavonoid, phenol, volatile compound. This substance hypnotized could decrease and eliminate odor levels in duck egg. The research was carried out to know the most proper jintan leaf concentrations to eliminate salty duck egg odor. It used an explorative experimental method by Complete Block Design with three replication and continued by orthogonal contrast test to know which component is more prefer according to consumers. The odor of salty duck eggs decreased and began to decrease even at the 25-gram concentrate. Within the higher concentration, the higher decrease in odor sensory. For the economic aspect, we are not necessary to close in the highest concentration, but we suggest at the early odor sensory is disappeared, by 50 grams for 40 salty duck eggs. There is the other advance to further research, such as prolonging quality. This finding would be beneficial to producer and consumer and also researcher as the new variance of product.

Abstract

Efisiensi produksi merupakan salah satu alternatif penting dalam meningkatkanproduksi dan produktivitas kubis. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkatefisiensi teknis dari produksi usahatani kubis dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yangmempengaruhinya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa usahatani kubis belum efisien secarateknis, dimana rata-rata tingkat efisiensi teknisnya sebesar 68 persen. Faktor-faktor sosialekonomi yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap inefisiensi teknis usahatani kubis adalahvariabel umur, pengalaman usahatani, dan keanggotaan dalam kelompok tani. Variabelumur berpengaruh positif terhadap inefisiensi teknis usahatani kubis, sedangkanpengalaman usahatani, dan keanggotaan dalam kelompok tani berpengaruh negatif.Kata Kunci: efisiensi teknis, usahatani kubis

Abstract

Compared with the average poverty rate in the West Java Area, the poverty rate in the East Priangan Zone is very high. One measure of food insecurity is the high hunger rate in the country. The problem of food security has always been the biggest worry, as food is a fundamental human need, so economic growth is quite influential. The author is interested in researching the extent of food protection in the East Priangan Area on the basis of the significance and validity of the issues, as well as attempts to achieve food security. The study discusses different facets of food protection linked to farmers' households in the East Priangan Area. The report was undertaken in the East Priangan Area through a library study of numerous research findings and secondary evidence supporting food protection concerns. The issues explored are (1) the principle of food protection, (2) the efficiency of food security, and (3) the plan for realizing food security. The findings of the study showed that (1) the definition of food protection includes three foundations of food security, consisting of aspects of supply, access to food and utilization of food, (2) the degree of food security of districts and cities in eastern Priangan belongs to the very food safety group of food security, and (3) the techniques that can be applied to address the problems of food security.

Abstract

ABSTRAKProduktivitas padi organik di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya mengalami fluktuasi dimana terjadi penurunan pada beberapa tahun terakhir. Permasalahan produktivitas berkaitan erat dengan inefisiensi teknis. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi teknis dan sumber inefisiensi teknis pada usahatani padi organik di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usahatani padi organik telah efisien secara teknis, dengan rata-rata tingkat efisiensi teknis sebesar 78 persen. Sumber-sumber inefisiensi teknis padi organik adalah umur, pengalaman berusahatani, jumlah anggota keluarga dan jarak lahan dengan rumah. Umur dan pengalaman berusahatani berpengaruh positif terhadap inefisiensi teknis usahatani padi organik, sedangkan jumlah anggota keluarga dan jarak lahan dengan rumah berpengaruh negatif. Kata kunci :  Organik, efisiensi teknis, inefisiensi teknis ABSTRACT The productivity of organic rice in Tasikmalaya district has fluctuated where there has been a decline in the last few years. Productivity problems are closely related to technical inefficiencies. This paper aims to analyze the level of technical  efficiency and sources of the technical inefficiency  organic rice farming in Tasikmalaya district. The results indicated that organic rice farming is efficient where the average of technical efficiency of 78 percent. The sources of technical inefficiency were age, farming experience, number of family members and farm distance from house. Age and farming experience has positive influence on technical inefficiency of organic rice farming, while number of family members and farm distance from house have negative effect on technical inefficiency. Keywords : Organic, technical efficiency, technical inefficiency

Abstract

Fluktuasi harga yang terjadi pada komoditas cabai merah besar di Provinsi Jawa Barat selalu terjadi. Dengan adanya fluktuasi harga tersebut maka selalu dihadapkan dengan adanya risiko harga yang diterima. Sewaktu-waktu harga sangat tinggi tetapi dalam waktu dekat harga dapat turun secara drastis. Sepanjang tahun 2017-2021 cabai merah besar di Provinsi Jawa Barat harga terendah sebesar 25.900/kg sedangkan harga tertinggi Rp. 73.800/kg. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat risiko harga dan factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat risiko harga cabai merah besar di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa harga bulanan cabai merah besar periode Januari 2017-Juni 2021. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menghitung koefisien variasi serta regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat risiko harga cabai merah besar di Provinsi Jawa Barat cenderung tinggi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi risiko harga cabai yaitu faktor harga cabai merah kriting substitusi, pendapatan, dan permintaan konsumen berpengaruh positif, sedangkan faktor jumlah produksi dan harga cabai sebelumnya berpengaruh negatif

Abstract

Cayenne pepper and large red chili are complementary food commodities that are always needed, and their prices fluctuate. This research was conducted to determine farmers' preferences in choosing large red chilies and cayenne peppers. The method used in this study was conjoint analysis which was used to analyze the preferences of 36 farmers in selecting large red chilies and cayenne pepper. Commodity levels of importance no. 1 and no. 2 are the same regarding resistance to pests and diseases and market prospects. For the following order, it is a difference between sizeable red chili and cayenne pepper commodities. In terms of the combination of attribute levels, the utility estimate value between the two commodities has different values, so a correlation test is produced where the significant value of Pearson and Kendall's bird's eye chili is smaller than 0.05 compared to large red chili. High pests, long plant life, high input prices, ease of obtaining seeds compared to large red chilies, and high prices in the market.
