Abstract

Cooperative learning is successful learning strategy in which a small group, along with students from any different abilities, uses a variety of learning activities to improve their understanding of a subject. Every member of group is responsible not only to learn what has been taught but also to help others learn, in order to create an atmosphere of achievement together. Students work through assignment until successfully understand and complete it. By cooperative learning, there will be drills for students’ socialization ability to be developed and students’ relationships to be added in order to pursue their success. The big number of friends does not make students stress easily because students can tell a story freely. Socializing is essentially a process of adjusting themselves to the environment of social life.

Abstract

Science originated from human curiosity of the phenomenon around him or anything about himself. At first the desire to know it is hampered by various myths that developed in the community. The Myths are successfully implanted in the human mind, because of the limitations of the human mind itself to provide and obtain a reasonable explanation. Philosophy and methodology of the study are filling and expanding the horizons of what is called cognitive science, which will hopefully lead to the notion of discipline and scientific work. Abstract

Every parent wants his child to grow and develop into a confident, accomplished, intelligent, and happy. But not all hope is able to run as desired. There are children who can grow into a child as desirable, some are not and appear as a problem child. In the perspective of psychological problem of children arises because the psychological needs that are not met and the effects of negative self-concept. The concept of self-importance in sustaining the growth process of children into a positive person, since the concept of self-giving terms of reference to the situation affecting our arrangement and relationship with others. Self-concept is formed by three main components, namely the interplay of Ideal Self, Self Image, and Self-Esteem. By understanding the function of each of these components we will easily do the formation of a positive self-concept of children. For the sake of a positive development for the child, it is important that children have a positive circle of influence of the environment.

Abstract

Social studies learning should be emphasized on skills to participate in the society. Social studies has the value of practical learning, which should foster creative individuals, democratic and full responsibility, and simultaneously has the burden of cultural development as well as a good life, harmonious and dynamic. Social studies research-based learning activities, sticking to the line of thought of research, which started its activities by seeking a variety of problems, formulate problems, data collection, data analysis and draw conclusions is the answer to the problem formulation. Social studies research-based learning is expected to equip the ability of social knowledge, the ability to identify, analyze, organize alternative social problem-solving, the ability to communicate with other community members as well as various other accompaniment capabilities.

Abstract

Lack of science learning achievement at MIN 1 Metro possible because learning methods used have not put forward the activity of students in the learning process. Inquiry learning is one of the alternative efforts to improve student achievement in science subjects at MIN 1 Metro. Research done by quasi-experimental approach with two classes of objects that the experimental class and control class. The results showed that the implementation of inquiry learning have a significant influence on the average value of learning achievement in science class VI MIN 1 Metro, as indicated by the average value of student learning outcomes in inquiry learning is better than learning approaches expository.

Abstract

In general, a person’s religion is determined by education, experience and exercises its path in his childhood. A man who in his time never get religious education, then in later adult life , he will not feel the importance of religion in his life. As with the people who in his time had religious experiences, such as mother and father who know religious, social environment and his colleagues also run a religious life, coupled with religious education, deliberately at the home , school and community. Then people will naturally have a tendency to live within the rules of religion, accustomed to worship, fear of stepping over religious prohibitions and can feel how the joy of religious life.

Abstract

Mathematics, for the majority of the students, is still considered daunting. One of the topics that they students find it difficult multiplied number. Many of the students failed in comprehensively understanding the multiplied number. The strategy, among others, to make the teaching of multiplied number more effective is by utilizing the props. The purpose of this article is to embed the concept of multiplication and division of integers on elementary school using the props. The props used is positive card and negative card. The props function as a bridge to convey information from the teacher to students correctly.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia quantitatively have achieved significant progress. It is can be proved by statistics that 67.24% of the population in Indonesia has been freed from illiteracy. But this success unfollowed by the success of output education. There are various problems of education became in Indonesia, for example : children’s moral decline of the nation, lacking work ethic, low skills, corruption and increased of unemployment intellectuals. At least, there are three factors causes the problem of education in Indonesia from the learning aspect, first; approach in learning, all this time education and learning just emphasizes on uniformity behavior, it hope be regularity, order and certainty. Second; curriculum change. Often curriculum change lead to confusion in determining the direction of teacher learning. and the third is the competence of teacher. The solution is. Should a teacher looking at students as a person who should be developed, and equipped with the solution of various problems of life, the ultimate goal of learning which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor. The conventional and modern methods should be applied equally. A teacher should be master the four competencies, namely: pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence, and professional competence. And the teacher should be a role model for their students.
