JSSH (Jurnal Sains Sosial dan Humaniora) is a peer-reviewed and open access academic journal published by Scientific and Publishing Institute (Lembaga Publikasi Ilmiah dan Penerbitan) Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. JSSH was published twice a year in March and September, the first time published in March 2017. The aims of the journal is to provide scholarly publications for social and humanities studies, especially base on education, psychology, culture, sociological, humanities, economic research findings and critical thought.

<![CDATA[Mental disorders affect a person's ability to think and act. Based on Riskesdas 2018, the number of people with mental disorders in Indonesia reached 9.8%. Indonesian people who still adhere to ancestral culture often use traditional medicine to treat mental disorders. In Benyer Hamlet, Telagawaru Village, East Lombok Regency, mental disorders are treated with traditional medicine, namely through kebangru'an music. Kebangru'an is defined as a spirit that enters the human body, causing behavior that is different from usual. This research uses qualitative research. Data was collected using in-depth interviews, non-participatory observations, and document analysis. The selection of informants was made by purposive sampling. The validity of the data was tested by using the triangulation technique. The research results are the values that the people of Dusun Benyer contain in this kebangru'an music, namely religious values related to dynamism and monotheism beliefs. Moral values are seen as philosophical values in musical instruments and ritual materials. The aesthetic value is seen in the strains of the gending in the kebangru'an music. Further research is needed on the combination of traditional and medical treatment.]]>

<![CDATA[Studi ini mengeksplorasi media sosial Tiktok yang dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan konteks berbagi, yang dapat membuat hashtag fyp menjadi viral dan mendapatkan diskusi hangat dari banyak orang, terutama para netizen Tiktok. Artikel ini ditulis dalam konteks sejumlah besar pengguna media sosial yang menyebabkan perilaku buruk. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan penjelasan bahwa media sosial Tiktok dapat menginspirasi generasi muda untuk tidak hanya memberikan informasi yang penting tetapi juga bermanfaat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan teori fenomenologi sebagai landasannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyarankan agar tiktok dapat menjadi salah satu media sosial yang memandu hal-hal positif kepada masyarakat, tidak hanya dengan membantu memberikan bantuan, tetapi juga melakukan hal-hal lain yang lebih baik untuk menarik pengguna media. Masyarakat lain, terutama di kalangan generasi muda.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper aims to present a different point of view in financing health care insurance for the community, by describing the innovations made by other countries in ensuring the sustainability of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). The research was conducted through a qualitative approach and an exploratory method, by tracing the necessary information through literature reviews from journals, official websites of governments and organizations, as well as online media. The results of the study show that other countries impose special taxes, such as the sin tax, sugar tax and Robin Hood tax to finance the continuity of health care insurance.Tulisan ini bertujuan menyuguhkan sudut pandang yang berbeda dalam membiayai jaminan layanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat, dengan memaparkan inovasi yang dilakukan negara-negara lain dalam menjamin keberlangsungan Universal Health Coverage (UHC). Penelitian dilakukan melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan metode eksplorasi, dengan menelusuri informasi yang diperlukan baik melalui telaah literatur dari jurnal, situs resmi pemerintah maupun organisasi, serta media daring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa negara-negara lain memberlakukan pajak khusus, seperti pajak dosa, pajak manis, dan pajak Robin Hood untuk membiayai keberlangsungan jaminan layanan kesehatan.]]>

<![CDATA[Artikel ini membahas tentang efek buruk yang diterima remaja jika sudah mengalamikecanduan dalam bermain game online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilakumenyimpang apa saja yang dilakukan remaja yang disebabkan seringnya bermain gameonline. Tidak hanya perilaku menyimpang yang merugikan dirinya sendiri dan keluargabahkan juga merugikan orang sekitar dari remaja tersebut. Banyak hal yang dilakukan olehremaja yang sudah tercatat dalam kasus pencurian karena ingin bermain game online, namunmereka tidak mempunyai uang sampai rela melakukan pencurian uang orang tua dan lebihparahnya mencuri usaha dari orang lain. Tidak salah jika remaja menekuni hobinya danmengejar cita-cita dengan bermain game online, namun yang harus diperhatikan adalahbagaimna caranya untuk menjalankan hobi tersebut dan cara merealisasikan hobi tersebut.Banyak perubahan perilaku yang ada pada diri remaja contohnya lebih sering mengurungdirinya sendiri dirumah untuk bermain game online, berbicara kasar, merokok, kurangberkomunikasi dengan orang tuanya, dan menyebabkan keresahan pada masyarakat sekitarkarena terganggu dengan suara bising jika sedang bermain diluar rumah. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode penelitian Studi pustaka, yang dimana dari beberapa penelitian diambilsebuah kesimpulan yang nantinya akan menemukan suatu hasil penelitian. Tingginya minatdari remaja dalam bermain game online maka semakin tinggi pula pengawasan dari orang tuadan orang dari sekitar remaja seperti guru, teman, dan masyarakat, demi meluruskanpemikiran remaja tentang bahayanya kecanduan game online.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the level of the workload of public funeral officers during the pandemic in one city in Indonesia. The hypothesis in the study is that there has been an increase in the workload of public funeral officers since the surge in deaths due to Covid-19. The sampling technique used is non-random sampling in 25 people. This research method uses a mixed-method approach with inferential narrative data analysis techniques using SPSS software. The data processing results show that 44% of respondents fall into having a medium workload, and another 56% fall into the category of relatively high. External and internal factors cause the workload.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRAKDampak COVID-19 terjadi diseluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia. Di Indonesia banyak perusahaan UKM yang terkena dampaknya, salah satunya UD.RIZKY. Saya mengangkat tema “Upaya UD.RIZKY Dalam Mempertahankan Bisnis Di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19”. Tema tersebut diangkat agar mampu mengetahui upaya apa saja yang dilakukan dalam sebuah perusahaan UKM di tengah pandemi covid-19. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa UD.RIZKY mampu bertahan di tengah pandemi Covid-19, dengan segala usaha yang dilakukan membuat bisnis ini tetap berjalan meskipun banyak kesulitan yang tengah dialami. Di masa pandemi ini, UD.RIZKY mengalami penurunan permintaan dari pelanggan, hal ini juga membuat menurunnya pendapatan jauh dari sebelumnya. UD.RIZKY merupakan bisnis supplie ikan, tentu ikan merupakan makanan pokok, dengan hal tersebut juga membuat bisnis ini masih dapat bertahan ditengah pandemi COVID-19. ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the lifestyle of shopaholic teenagers in online shopping trends at shopee. Developments in the field of technology have changed people's lifestyles to become more practical. Today's society is more likely to do online shopping activities because it is considered very efficient and effective. This study uses a literature study research method whose data is obtained from several previous studies and other sources such as articles, journals, books and documents related to the theme of this research. This study shows that shopee is the world's leading online shopping application that sells a variety of needs that can be easily accessed via smartphones. However, without realizing it, online shopping activities actually foster a shopaholic nature for some people, especially teenagers. Teenagers today shop not according to need, but for sheer pleasure. Because teenagers pay more attention to symbols related to consumption which are used as identities, social and cultural strata.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to disclose the interpersonal meaning in movie posters. This is a semiotic study, applying Royce's (2001) intersemiotic complementarity framework. It is to analyze visual and verbal codes in the posters. The poster is taken from the official website of Marvel Studio. They are used as a medium for advertising the products. Based on the analysis, it can be identified that the visual contact is straighforward creating a demanding pose, a close-up mode presenting an emotional expression instead of the covered face, the frontal view emphasizing the bond of the character to the viewers, its eye-level presentation creating his equality to the on-lookers. All of this demanding pose was made clear by the situation informed by the verbal elements, that Spiderman had no way home. It is also a preview of the plot of the movie in this sequel. Thus, both semiotic elements in the poster have produced a unity of meaning, which puts the superhero as a part of the society in general, especially where he lives; he is not a different human being in spite of the super power he holds.]]>

<![CDATA[Juvenile delinquency requires handling from various sides, including schools in the form of character education. Ketarunaan system has proven to be effective in character building. Purpose of this research is to describe the role of ketarunaan system that is implemented at SMKN 61 Jakarta for overcoming juvenile delinquency. Research approach which is used for this research is qualitative approach and it was conducted from January-July 2020. The data is collected by interview and observation of taruna/taruni, schools, and taruna-taruni parents. Informants from taruna-taruni are students who have juvenile delinquency history in the heavy category; from various grade of class and who shown a change. Data analysis was carried out by open, axial, and selective coding. Result of the research shows that Ketarunaan system consist of 3 development models: intrakurikuler, ko-kurikuler, and ekstrakurikuler. Three development models form discipline character, independence, and responsible in taruna-taruni. The density of their activities makes them reduce their free time to do negative activities. The number of delinquency which is committed by taruna/taruni is significantly reduced. It was concluded that ketarunaan system which is implemented by SMKN 61 Jakarta was effective in overcoming the problem of juvenile delinquency.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out female stereotypes depicted in the reconstructed stories of Cinderella in the children's storybook entitled Ketika Rapunzel Menjadi Rapinem (KRMP). These stories are mainly inspired by the classic fairy tale of Cinderella, which is then reconstructed through the archetype process. It is essential to study the stories due to the prevalent issue of female stereotypes. Women’s conditions in such reconstructed works certainly bring a perspective, especially the depiction of women, as existing social reflections. The study uses a qualitative descriptive method to support the goal. The data collection uses a purposive sampling technique by conducting in-depth readings on the reconstruction of Cinderella stories, representing women's stereotypes. The data is analysed using the feminism theory. As a result, the stories clearly and consistently define the stereotypes of women from their physical appearances, personality traits, domestic roles, and occupations. In this case, women's portrayal in the reconstructed versions openly continues to glorify physical beauty as a standard for women's appearance; on the other hand, they should also maintain femininity and do domestic works as housewives or caregivers.]]>
