Abstract

Abstract The phenomenon that occurs is the seventh grade students of SMP N 22 Semarang has an average adaptability 70%, while the services of social information has been provided by the teacher of guidance and counseling regularly. In addition there is a significant difference in the level of student independence. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of students' perception on social information services and independence to self adjustment seventh grade students of SMP N 22 Semarang. This research is an ex post facto with quantitative approach. The study population numbered 240 students sample taken by purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using psychological scale were tested for its validity and reliability. The data analysis used is simple and multiple linear regression. The results are (1) Perceptions of students on social information services influences self adjustment, (2) Independence influences self adjustment, and (3) Perceptions of students on social information services and independence influences self adjustment. Based on these results it can be predicted that the higher level of students' perceptions on the service of social information and independence, the adaptability of students will be increased. Therefore, it is suggested that teachers of guidance and counseling should provide services that fit the needs of students so that students have a better perception on social information services and also they should foster students' independence.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization berbantuan peta konsep terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP tema kalor. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, diperoleh kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualizatin berbantuan peta konsep dengan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Rata-rata nilai posttest kognitif kelas kontrol 74,58 dan kelas eksperimen 85. Hasil analisis korelasi biserial diperoleh koefisien korelasi (rb) 0,734 dan koefisien determinasi (KD) 53,88%. Hasil keseluruhan afektif dan psikomotorik kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Rata-rata nilai posttest keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas kontrol 65,72 dan kelas eksperimen 77,97. Hasil analisis korelasi biserial keterampilan berpikir kritis diperoleh rb 0,842 dan KD 70,90%. Berdasarkan hasil angket tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran yaitu 29 siswa dari 32 siswa memberikan tanggapan yang sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization berbantuan peta konsep berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada tema kalor. Abstract ________________________________________________________________ This research aims to know the effect of cooperative learning of type Team Assisted Individualization assisted concept map to the learning outcomes and critical thinking skill of junior high school students on the topic of heat. The design of this study is quasi-experimental design, nonequivalent control group design. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The class of VII A as the experimental class and VII B as the control class. The data collection in this study used observation, documentation, questionnaire, and test. The result of the study shows that there is correlation between cooperative learning of Team Assisted Individualization type assisted concept map and learning outcomes and critical thinking skill. The cognitive average score of posttest in control class is 74,58 and in experimental class is 85. The result of biserial correlation analysis found that the correlation coefficient (rb) is 0,734 and the coefficient of determination (KD) is 53,88%. The overall result of affective and psychomotor experimental class is greater than the control class. The average value of critical thinking skill posttest control class 65,72 and experimental class 77,97. Results of biserial correlation analysis critical thinking skills acquired rb 0,842 and KD 70,90%. Based on the results of the questionnaire responses of students towards learning that 29 students out of 32 students have responded very well. Based on these results it can be concluded that the model of cooperative learning of Team Assisted Individualization type assisted concept map has positive effect on learning outcomes and the critical thinking skill of students on the theme of heat.

Abstract

Abstrak Guru perlu memperhatikan penguasaan konseptual siswa dan menyampaikan materi dengan jelauntuk mengurangi kesalahpahaman pada konsep IPA. Oleh karena itu perlu menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Media kartu pintar tumbuhan dengan topik Gerak Tumbuhan terbukti membantu siswa mengembangkan penguasaan konseptual dan menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media kartu pintar tumbuhan berbasis science edutainment terhadap minat belajar dan pemahaman konseptual pada tema Gerak Tumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen quasi experimental design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 37 Semarang dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai posttest pemahaman konsep siswa siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 86,875 sedangkan kelas kontrol 78,625 dengan rb=0,63. Hasil penilaian minat belajar siswa yang diukur melalui lembar observasi menunjukkan rata-rata kelas eksperimen 90,469 > rata-rata kelas kontrol 85,219 dan didapat rb=0,63. Abstract Teacher needs to pay attention on students’ conceptual mastery and deliver the material clearly to reduce the misconception .Therefore it is necessary to use appropriate instructional media to support the learning process. Media of smart cards with plants topic is proved to help students develop their conceptual mastery and grow their learning interest. The purpose of this research is to find the influence of smart card media based on science edutainment towards conceptual mastery in Plant in Motion theme. This research used quasi experimental design and conducted in SMP 37 Semarang carrying with 8th grader as the subject. The research result shows average score posttest of experiment group is 86,875 while control group is78,625 with rb = 0,63 . Students’ learning interest shows the average of experiment group 90,469 was higher than average control group 85,219.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan CTL berbasis SETS terhadap pemahaman konsep dan karakter siswa. Desain dari penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment, nonequivalent control group design. Sampel diambil secara pusposive sampling dan didapatkan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII H sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian ini adalah data nilai posttest dan data observasi karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 79,67 dan kelas kontrol 74,38. Hasil analisis korelasi biserial 0,417 dan koefisien determinasi 17%. Berdasarkan observasi, hasil analisis korelasi spearman adalah 0,51 untuk karakter jujur, 0,49 untuk toleransi, 0,55 disiplin, 0,58 rasa ingin tahu, dan 0,73 untuk karakter peduli lin gkungan. Hasil koefisien determinasi adalah 26% untuk kerakter jujur, toleransi 24%, disiplin 30%, rasa ingin tahu 34%, dan peduli lingkungan 53%. Abstract This study aimed to determine the influence of CTL based SETS approach towards understanding concept and character of students. The study design was quasi experimental design of nonequivalent control group design. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique which resulted class VIII F as experimental class and class VIII H as control class. The data consisting of the posttest value and the observation of students character by observer. The result of this study showed that average of posttest value experiment class 79.67 and control class 74.38. The resulted of biserial correlation analysis 0.417 and coefficient of determination17%. Based on the observation, the resulted of spearman correlation analysis are 0.51 for honestly character, 0.49 for tolerance, 0.55 for discipline, 0.58 for curiosity, and 0.73 for care about environment. The resulted of coefficient determination are honestly 26%, tolerance 24%, 30% for discipline, 34% for curiosity, and 53% care about environment.

Abstract

Abstrak ______________________________________________________________ Hasil observasi dan wawancara di SMP N 1 Jenangan diperoleh informasi bahwa sikap ilmiah dan keterampilan proses sains siswa belum optimal dikembangkan. Model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan sikap ilmiah dan keterampilan proses sains siswa yaitu model make a match berbasis guided inquiry pada tema ekosistem. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas model make a match berbasis guided inquiry pada sikap ilmiah dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Desain yang digunakan nonequivalent control group, dengan sampel kelas VII A (kelas eksperimen) dan VII F (kelas kontrol). Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi, tes, observasi dan angket. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif dan uji statistik model make a match berbasis guided inquiry tema ekosistem efektif pada sikap ilmiah dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari persentase rata-rata kelas eksperimen untuk sikap ilmiah 77% dan kelas kontrol 74%, sedangkan hasil tes keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen 85 dan kelas kontrol 78,8. Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The results of observation and interview at SMP N 1 Jenangan informed that scientific attitude and scientific process skills students has not been optimally developed. One of suitable learning models are make a match based guided inquiry with the theme of ecosystems. This research aims to get the effectiveness of scientific attitude and science process skills of this model. This study is non-equivalent control group design; this sample was 7Ath grade as experimental class and 7Fth grade as control class. Data collection uses documentation, test methods, observation and question form. Based on description analysis and statistical analysis that the average scientific attitude and scientific process skills students experiment class get better value than the control class. This is shown from the average percentage for scientific attitude from experiments class of 77% and 74% of control class, while the science process skill test result 85 for experiment class and 78,8 for control class

Abstract

Abstrak ____________________________________________________________________ Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model active learning berbantuan media flash terhadap pemahaman konsep dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada tema kalor dan perpindahannya. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII C (kelas eksperimen) dan VII A (kelas kontrol) SMPN 1 Ungaran. Data diambil dengan metode tes (pemahaman konsep) dan observasi (aktivitas belajar siswa).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pemahaman konsep (posttest) kelas eksperimen (87,22) lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (75,83). Besarnya rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen (83,90) juga lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol (76,28). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan model active learning berbantuan media flash pada tema kalor dan perpindahannya berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 54,06 % dengan nilai koefisen korelasi sebesar 0,74 (kategori kuat) dan berpengaruh positif terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 85,54 % dengan nilai koefisen korelasi sebesar 0,92 (kategori sangat kuat). Abstract Studies have been conducted to determine the effect of active learning model of flash media aided the understanding of concepts and learning activities of students on the theme of heat and displacement. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The sample in this research is class VII C (experimental class) and VII A (control group) SMPN 1 Ungaran. Data taken with test method (understanding of the concept) and observation (student activity). The results showed that the average understanding of the concept (posttest) experimental class (87.22) higher than the control class (75.83). The average size of an experimental class student' learning activities (83.90) is also greater than the control class (76.28). Based on the research-aided model of active learning flash media on the theme of heat and displacement positive effect on students 'understanding of the concept of 54.06% with a correlation coefficient of 0.74 (strong category) and a positive effect on students' learning activities amounted to 85.54 % by value of the correlation coefficient of 0.92 (very strong category).

Abstract

Abstrak ____________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran materi listrik dinamis menggunakan media KIT listrik yang dilengkapi PhET untuk IPA SMP yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan tiga tahap dari model 4- D, yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop) dan diujicobakan di kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Kertek Wonosobo semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Parameter penelitian yang diukur adalah validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan media KIT listrik yang dilengkapi PhET untuk materi listrik dinamis IPA SMP yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The objective of this research is to design electrical dynamic learning package using KIT media which is equipped with PhET for teaching Junior high school which is valid, practice and effective to teach the science process skills. This study was conducted in 3 steps of 4-D models, i.e. define, design and develop, and it has been tried out for ninth grade students of SMPN 1 Kertek Wonosobo in the first semester of academic year 2016/2017. The criteria of this learning package are validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research applied One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The method of data collection are observation, documentation and test. The technique of the data analysis used are descriptive quantitative and qualitative method. The result shows that the learning package is valid, practice and effective to teach students science process skills.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan CTL berbasis eksperimen terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan sikap ilmiah. Desain dari penelitian ini adalah control group pre-test post-test desain. Sampel diambil secara pusposive sampling dan didapatkan kelas VIII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian ini adalah data nilai posttest dan data observasi sikap ilmiah peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelas eksperimen adalah 76,84 dan kelas kontrol 65,97. Hasil analisis korelasi biserial 0,71 dan koefisien determinasi 50,2%. Berdasarkan observasi, hasil analisis korelasi spearman adalah 0,50 untuk sikap ingin tahu, 0,48 untuk berpikir kritis, 0,56 terbuka, dan 0,58 kerja sama. Hasil koefisien determinasi adalah 25% untuk rasa ingin tahu, berpikir kritis 23,04%, terbuka 31,36%, dan kerja sama 34,81%. Abstract This experiment aims to determine the effect of CTL-based experimental approach to the cognitive learning and scientific attitude. The design of this study was the control group pre-test post-test design. Samples taken pusposive sampling and got VIII D as experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. This research data is the value of data and observation data posttest learners' scientific attitude. The results showed that the average value was 76.84 posttest experimental class and control class 65.97. Results of correlation analysis biserial 0.71 and coefficient of determination of 50.2%. Based on observations, the results of Spearman correlation analysis was 0.50 for curiosity, 0.48 to think critically, open 0.56, and 0.58 cooperation. The coefficient of determination was 25% f or curiosity, critical thinking 23.04%, 31.36% open, and cooperation 34.81%.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Ketersedian alat-alat praktikum dalam pembelajaran IPA sangat dibutuhkan untuk dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SMP Negeri 10 Semarang intensitas praktikum rendah karena ketiadaan alat-alat praktikum yang mendukung dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Intensitas praktikum yang rendah mengakibatkan rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Keterampilan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu variabel yang turut mempengaruhi pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Ketersediaan alat-alat praktikum yang tidak lengkap menuntut guru untuk tetap dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung peserta didik untuk dapat melakukan praktikum secara virtual. Media pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung pelaksanaan praktikum secara virtual adalah virtual laboratory. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui pengaruh virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada tema optik kelas VIII SMP. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan diperoleh kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besar korelasi pemahaman konsep peserta didik adalah 0,660 yang menunjukkan dalam kategori kuat dan hasil analisis korelasi keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebesar 0,729 berdasarkan data observasi dan 0,69 berdasarkan data posttest yang menunjukkan dalam kategori kuat. Pengaruh dari penggunaan virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap pemahaman konsep peserta didik sebesar 43,53%, sedangkan pengaruh dari penggunaan virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebesar 53,14% berdasarkan data observasi dan 47,06% berdasarkan data posttest. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa terdapat pengaruh virtual laboratory berbasis flash animation terhadap pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Abstract___________________________________________________________________ Availability of practical tools in learning of science subject is needed to achieve the learning objectives. Based on observations in Junior High School 10 Semarang, practicum low intensity because of practical tools ara not available that support learning activities. The intensity of practicum is low, it make critical thinking skills of students is low. Critical thinking skills to be one of the variables that influence of understanding concept of learners. Availability of practicum tools that incomplete requires teachers to achieve the learning objectives by using media that can support learners to be able to do practicum virtually. Media that can support to do practicum virtually is a virtual laboratory. This study aims to determine the influence of virtual laboratory based flash animation againts understanding concepts and critical thinking skills of students in grade VIII SMP in optical theme. The population used in this study were all students of grade VIII Junior High School 10 Semarang academic year 2015/2016. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling and obtained VIII C as the experimental class and VIII F as the control class. The design of study is nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the correlation value of understanding concept of students is 0.660 which shows in the strong category and correlation analysis of students' critical thinking skills of 0,729 based on observational data and 0.69 based on the posttest data that shows in the strong category. The influence of the use of virtual laboratory-based flash animation againts understanding concept of students is 43.53%, whereas the influence the use of virtual laboratory based flash animation againts the critical thinking skills of students is 53.14% based on observational data and 47.06% based on the posttest data. The conclusion is there are infuence of virtual laboratory based flash animation againts understanding concepts and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aims to know the validity of e-comic bilingual as a learning media sub materials digestive tract and gland. The method used in this study is research and development. The subjects in this study are three senior high schools in Pontianak. The instrument used in this study is the form of media validation. The eligibility of e-comic bilingual is measured through validity test by 10 validator consist of 5 material expert validator and 5 media expert validator. The research results showed that e-comic bilingual media of digestive tract and gland is indicated as eligible in order to be used as learning media with an average score of material expert validation at 3.48 and a media expert validation at 3.53.
