Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini besifat kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbatuan praktikum vitual dalam rangka mengintegrasikan pengajaran secara teori dan pratikum manual melalui media elektronik. Dalam mata kuliah zoology vertebrata beberapa hambatan saat melaksanakan praktikum seperti terbatasnya specimen laut dalam serta penggunaan formalin yang melekat pada specimen sehingga membuat mata perih dan lain hal. Salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi keterbatasan tersebut adalah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan labolatorium pada komputer (virtual laboratory), yang memanfaatkan teknologi multimedia, baik dalam bentuk tutorial maupun simulasi komputer. Praktikum virtual (virtual laboratory) merupakan sebuah laboratorium selayaknya laboratorium biasa, hanya saja semuanya dalam bentuk digital sehingga bisa diakses dari manapun dan kapanpun Software yang digunakan untuk mendukung pembuatan praktkum virtual ini adalah flash. program virtual laboratory memenuhi pendekatan inkuiri yang memekankan pada langkah-langkah ilmiah yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research applied qualitative or descriptive method that aims to develop teaching materials virtually laboratory in order to integrate the teaching of theoretical and pratikum manually through ICT. In the course of vertebrate zoology several obstacles when carrying out such as limited lab specimens in the sea as well as the use of formalin inherent pa-da specimen so as to make eye irritation and other things. One alternative to overcome these limitations is to use information technology through the implementation of activities in virtual laboratory, which utilizes multi-media technology, both in the form of tutorials and computer simulations. Virtual laboratory is an appropriate laboratory ordinary laboratory, only it all digital form that can be accessed from anywhere and anytime software used to support the creation of this virtual laboratory micromedia flash. virtual laboratory program approach that inquirybmethod on scientific measures that can download learning support.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan mendesain instrumen tes diagnostik pendeteksi miskonsepsi, untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep dasar kimia mahasiswa calon guru. Instrumen tes ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa untuk mengetahui, menganalisis sejauh mana pemahaman konsep-konsep dasar kimia yang telah diberikan dalam perkuliahan. Pemahaman konsep dasar kimia saat ini harus diupayakan secara maksimal, untuk menghasilkan outcome sesuai profil lulusan mahasiswa prodi Pendidikan Kimia, untuk menjadi Pendidik, fasilisator pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif, dan sebagai peneliti dibidang kependidikan. Metode Penelitian didesain sedemikian rupa dengan langkah-langkah mulai dari pemilihan materi yang sulit dipahami, menyusun kisi-kisi soal, desain instrumen tes pendeteksi miskonsepsi model three tier multiple choice, untuk multi level sampai mikroskopis, ujicoba, analisis data uji coba, dan penyempurnaan desain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan data uji coba instrument tes valid dan reliabel. Hasil analisis pemahaman konsep dasar kimia mahasiswa calon guru pada ujian akhir semester dengan instrument tes yang sudah disempurnakan menunjukkan 25 dari 50 mahasiswa (50%) paham konsep dasar kimia, 20 dari 50 mahasiswa (40%) mis konsepsi, dan 5 dari 50 mahasiswa (10%) tidak paham konsep dasar kimia. Saran diperlukan penyempurnaan desain tes diagnostic pendeteksi miskonsepsi, dan perluasan cakupan materi dasar kimia. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims to design a diagnostic test instrument detection of misconceptions, to analyze the understanding of the basic concepts of chemistry student teachers. This test instrument is needed by the students to identify, analyze the extent to which understanding of the basic concepts of chemistry that has been given in lectures. Understanding of the basic concepts of chemistry at this time should be pursued to the fullest, to produce outcomes fit the profile of graduate student education department of Chemistry, to be educator, facilitator of learning in a creative, innovative, and as a researcher in the field of education. Methods are designed with steps ranging from selecting the materials that are difficult to understand, prepare grille matter, the instrument design detector test misconceptions model of a three tier multiple choice, to a multi-level to the microscopic, testing, analysis of test data, and design improvements , The results showed that based on trial data are valid and reliable test instrument. The results of the analysis of understanding of the basic concepts of chemistry student teachers on the semester final exam with test instrument that has been perfected showed 25 out of 50 students (50%) understand the basic concepts of chemistry, 20 of 50 students (40%) mis conception, and 5 out of 50 students ( 10%) do not understand the basic concepts of chemistry. Suggestions necessary design improvements misconceptions detection diagnostic tests, and expanded coverage of basic materials chemistry.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis PCK guru dan calon guru kimia serta implementasinya dalam pembelajaran pada materi Buffer. Subjek penelitian deskriptif adalah 2 calon guru Kimia yang mengontarak mata kuliah Perencanaan Pembelajaran Kimia (PPK), dan 2 guru kimia peserta kegiatan MGMP kota Semarang. Kemampuan PCK dianalisis dari hasil pengisian CoRe, serta keterkaitannya dengan RPP dan LKS. Implementasi PCK di kelas diobservasi melalui lesson study untuk guru, dan melalui peer dan micro teaching untuk calon guru. Hasil analisis CoRe menunjukkan bahwa gambaran PCK calon guru lebih runtut, detail, dan lebih lengkap dibandingkan guru. Mahasiswa calon guru lebih memperhatikan apersepsi dan aspek konstruktivis yang tampak LKS konstruktivis yang disusun. Baik guru maupun calon guru masih belum mencantumkan penurunan persamaan Buffer, sedangkan untuk mekanisme kerja Buffer hanya calon guru yang menuliskan baik dalam CoRe maupun LKS. Beberapa hal yang mulai dipertimbangkan guru maupun calon guru setelah pelatihan dan pembekalan PCK adalah dalam hal penulisan RPP dan LKS memikirkan apersepsi, materi prasyarat, keluasan dan kedalaman materi, dan strategi pembelajaran agar siswa mampu mengkonstruk pengetahuannya. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aimed to analyze the PCK chemistry teachers and prospective teachers and the implementation of learning in matter Buffer. Subjects are two prospective descriptive study Chemistry teacher who mengontarak subjects Chemistry Lesson Planning (KDP), and the second chemistry teacher MGMPs participants in the city of Semarang. PCK analyzed the ability of the results of the charging cores, as well as its association with RPP and LKS. Implementation of PCK in the classroom through lesson study observed for teachers, and through peer and micro teaching for prospective teachers. Core analysis results indicate that the picture PCK prospective teachers more coherent, detailed, and more complete than the teacher. Student teachers pay more attention apersepsi and constructivist aspects that seem LKS constructivist arranged. Both teachers and prospective teachers still have not included a decrease in Buffer equation, whereas for the working mechanism Buffer only prospective teachers who wrote in both the core and LKS. Some things that have been considered teachers and prospective teachers after the training and equipping PCK is in writing lesson plans and worksheets apersepsi thinking, material requirements, the breadth and depth of the material, and learning strategies so that students are able to construct knowledge.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan media Fotonovela keanekaragaman hayati terhadap kemampuan psikomotorik siswa di SMAN 1 Boja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X semester gasal tahun ajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak sembilan kelas. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh dengan nilai produk, aktivitas siswa pada saat presentasi dan nilai akhir siswa, kemudian data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis rerata nilai akhir siswa kelas eksperimen yaitu 3,52 dengan predikat A-, sedangkan kelas kontrol yaitu 2,94 dengan predikat B. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rerata kelas eksperimen lebih dari kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan media Fotonovela keanekaragaman hayati efektif terhadap kemampuan psikomotorik siswa di SMAN 1 Boja. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the learning model Project Based Learning (PjBL) with media fotonovela biodiversity against psychomotor abilities of students at SMAN 1 Boja. This study uses Quasi Experimental Design with shapes Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of class X odd semester of 2016/2017 academic year as many as nine classes. Sampling using purposive sampling, that the class X MIPA as an experimental class 1 and class X MIPA 5 as the control class. Data obtained by the value of the product, student activities at the time of presentation and final grades of students, then the data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the analysis of the average value of the final grade students experiment ie 3.52 predicate A-, while the control class that is 2,94 with the predicate B. So it can be concluded that the average value of the experimental class more than the control class. Based on the results of this study concluded that the learning model Project Based Learning (PPA) with media biodiversity fotonovela effective against psychomotor abilities of students at SMAN 1 Boja.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research is aimed to discover the influence of guided inquiry learning model to improve students’ learning achievement of direct current and Archimedes law materials. This research used experimental method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research was the students of XI grade MAN Meulaboh 1 consisting of five classes with 36 students in each. The sampling methods were determined using random sampling technique that resulted in two classes as the research samples. The data analysis of the students’ learning achievement proved that the N-gain improvement of the students in the experimental class was 79.13%. It is better than the result of the control group which was 61.14%. This thing is because the experimental class gets the guided inquiry learning model.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Inquiry cannot be separated in learning science activities. Students are actively involved in constructing knowledge of both hands-on and minds-on. Learning science will be more meaningful when students can get to know the material science is not in the form of textual but contextual where students can learn science closer to the event / phenomenon that occurs in the factual and the environment around them more real. The science acquisition process can be conducted using a scientific approach that is packed with outdoor learning. This article is the result of the study of literature on school-based learning outdoor yard (neighborhood school) which is expected to facilitate teachers in applying scientific approaches and outdoor learning so that students can be closer to the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims to find out the comparison between of the students physics concept understanding who take the lesson using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) models with experiment methods and demonstration methods. This research is a quasi-experimental research design pretest-Post Test Control Group Design. The population in this study was 212 students, then take a sample of 60 students who carried out based on non-random techniques conditional. Samples were taken as many as 60 students divided into two experimental classes. Data collection methods used pretest to obtain data on students’ physics concept understanding before being given treatment and posttest to obtain data on students’ physics concept understanding after being treated. Data obtained were analyzed using Independent Samples T-test. The results showed no difference between the understanding of the students’ physics concept understanding who takes the lesson using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE)models with experiment methods and the demonstration methods. Based on the increase in the average value of pretest and posttest, obtained an average value of the experiments class is 6.65, while the larger demonstration class is 8.33. This suggests that physics learning using POE models with experiment methods are no better to improve students’ physics concept understanding compared using POE models with demonstration methods.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Mastery of scientific literacy is one of the objectives in science learning. Chemistry is one of the aspects of the material in science, so that control of chemical literacy is one indicator of the success of achieving success performance scientific literacy. This study aims to measure literacy levels of chemical science student teachers in the subject of Basic Chemistry. Ability scientific literacy of students that will be measured are to: 1) recognize chemical concepts (nominal literacy); 2) Describe the chemical concepts (functional literacy); 3) use their understanding of chemical concepts to explain a phenomenon (conceptual literacy); and 4) use their understanding of chemistry to analyze information from short paragraph (literacy multi-dimensional). This research is descriptive qualitative. Sampling was done by purposive random sampling technique. The sample (N= 61) was composed of first and second year in the Department of Science Education. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and open-ended paragraphs. The validity of the instrument used was expert judgment. Based on the research results, obtained the literacy skills of students by 56.64% nominal or category, please, and functional literacy of 26.40% or category Very Less. Meanwhile, conceptual literacy was 61.50%; multidimensional literacy was 50.20%. The low level of ability on functional literacy and multidimensional was because students are not accustomed to using asessment that revealed a high level thinking skills. These findings are expected to help in the design process of the new curriculum (KKNI) which put an emphasis on instructional strategies in developing chemical literacy.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Teaching material is one of essential material used by teacher as teaching tools. Handout is known as one of the teaching tools. It is important for teacher to develop their own teaching tools which support the teacher to achieve the learning indicators. Handout is one of the teaching materials that can be used by teachers or students in the learning process.There are many topics learned by students in senior high school. Animalia is one of the topics that can be learned by the student. It is a topic that has a wide scope. In senior high shcool, students should be able to learn the characteristic, example, the benefit of phylum for enviroment. Teachers need to develop teaching tool such as handout to figure out the wide concept of invertebrate by appliying contextual learning. Developing handout using Research and developnet design would help the teacher achieving purpose of the research. This research was aimed to determine whether the handout which had been developed was appropriate for use in senior high school. The research design applied in this research was a Research and Development (R&D). The research was done in some steps like data collection, planning, development of product, and evaluation stage. The subjects of this research were biology teachers and the students of senior high school. The experts’ judgment result of the integrated science handout was 83, teachers responses were 81.6%, students responses were 83.2% and students’ average score was 81.2 above the score of 75 as passing grade. It can be concluded that the developed handout meets the requirements as teaching materials.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research was aimed to develop PEKA-based thinking activity worksheet based, find out the feasibility of the worksheet, and determine the mastery level of thinking skill on the work and energy subject by using PEKA-based Thinking Activity worksheet. This type of research was research & development with 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The initial product was validated by lecturers and teacher, and revised in the first revision. The revised worksheet was used in the limited testing then performed second revision. The final product was used in extensive trial. The results of this research shows that PEKA-based Thinking Activity worksheet is in good category with average score of 4.12. The level of student mastery in thinking skills was 55% at excellent, 36% at credit and 9% at satisfactory levels.
