Abstract

It cannot be denied that religion and science are two things that increasingly play an important role in human life. The development of science in the modern world does not mean a decline in the influence of religion in human life, as has been predicted in the secularization theory. The tendency of the strengthening of religion and science to attract the attention of many people, especially with regard to the relationship between the two. The number of religious views and doctrines that seem to contradict modern science theory allows the conflict between religion and science. The case of the churchs execution of Galileo in the 19th century and the long debate between proponents of the theory of evolution and creation theory became clear evidence of how mutually affirming conflicts have colored the relationship between religion and science. To avoid conflicts between religion and science, many people have tried to find the most suitable relationship model. In recent developments there has been a "new stream" of talk about religion and science. The effort of this meeting did not stop at the level of discourse but was followed up at the implementation level. The proliferation of integrative-interconnection offers in various science and religion studies at Islamic Higher Education is clear evidence of this "matchmaking" of science and religion

Abstract

First and foremost children's education in the family must be based on the corridor of Islam by holding on to the Qur'an and Sunnah of the Prophet. Education in the family is based on the guidance of the Islamic religion intended to form children in order to be faithful and devoted to Allah SWT, as well as being noble that includes ethics, morals, manners, spiritual or understanding and experience of religious values ​​in daily life. This is a manifestation of the life of ‘amar makruf nahi munkar’ in family life, namely by giving education to his sons and daughters based on Islamic teachings. Abstract

Speaking class is part of regular program which is provided by Effective English Conversation Course Pare Kediri. Based on the result of need analysis, it showed that the basic conversation module was needed by students here. They needed the basic material of English completed by communicative grammar. Therefore, there is inevitable need to design instructional materials that appropriate for the beginner of English for speaking class students of Effective English Conversation Course. The Research and Development (R&D) procedure is employed in this study to develop Materials of speaking class. The developed instructional materials are designed to have skills in basic speaking. The skills to master in speaking class are the abilities to speak fluently followed by grammatically appropriateness. The instructional materials was also validated by the expert and tried-out. The final product of this study is instructional materials for a month. The instructional materials have been empirically queastionnaire in try-out stage. Therefore, it will be easy for the users to make the other instructional materials by referring to those models.

Abstract

This research which conducted at B group young learners of Nusa Indah kindergarten Bulutengger Sekaran Lamongan by using Cuisenaire rectangle aims to analyze the young learner’s counting skill to state the numeric symbol 1-10, matching the number and the symbol, and stating the result of the addition and abstraction from the thimgs correctly. The method of this research uses pre-eksperimental research by using quantitative approach and one-group pre-test design. The data analysis which uses Wilcoxon test shows that there is a difference between pre-test (before treatment)548, and post-test (after treatment) 770. The Tcount < Ttable (0<68). This research proves that there is an effect of using Cuisenaire rectangle for the B group children’s counting skill at Nusa Indah kindergarten Bulutengger Sekaran Lamongan.

Abstract

This paper discusses about the influence of Dutch Colonial government policy in the framework of its Ethical Policy towards pesantren. The Ethical Policy carried out by the Dutch East Indies colonial government throughout the period of 1900 until the independence of Indonesia was accompanied by the issuance of a series of policies which were considered to be pressing and detrimental to Islamic education, especially pesantren in Indonesia, in the form of teacher ordinances, wild school ordinances, and the establishment of Dutch Schools which -since the beginning of the 20th century- the existence of these schools has a direct influence on the existence of Islamic Education, especially pesantren. The effect of this policies was the transfer of pesantren to the rural areas just to maintain their characteristics accompanied by their resistance to infiltration of foreign cultures presented by the Dutch through Western-style public schools and The birth of the madrasah as a response to demands for changes in the education system along with the widespread idea of ​​Islamic reform throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.

Abstract

This article aims as an early effort to strengthen and regenerate the tradition of Madura written batik through creative-integrative education, creative intelligent character education and play creativity. Student assistance is began by selection of a region (village) as a target for the implementation of Integrative Creative Education (Creative House) by referring to the potential of batik in the area / village with the One Village One Product (OVOP) approach. Second, Focus discussion group (FGD) with local stakeholders. Third, data inventory of elementary and middle school children who have the talent for batik. Fourth, determine syllabus, teaching materials, main activities, facilities and infrastructure. Abstract

The purpose of education in general is to form good people. But the purpose of education will be difficult to achieve if it does not pay attention to the steps in learning in education. There are several concepts of Islamic religious education developed in Indonesia, one of which is the basic concept of Islamic religious education sourced from Imam Al Ghazali. The success of education and learning with the concepts and theories of Islamic religious education is characterized by changes in both cognitive and affective. The Role of Islamic Education in shaping the personality of students should rest on the condition or type of students and the theme to be delivered. So that the material to be delivered is easily accepted by students. However, what is equally important is the existence of exemplary and the ability of educators to provide motivation to learn to proceed towards commendable behavior which is the basic goal of Islamic education.
