Abstract

This study aims to analyze the model for measuring the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education carried out in tertiary institutions by taking into account the variables that influence it. The variables identified in this study are Entrepreneurship Learning Effectiveness, Entrepreneurial Barriers, Entrepreneurial Competence, and Entrepreneurial Intentions/Interests. This research is quantitative research with an explanatory survey method. The research design used a survey (descriptive and correlational). The tool used to test the relationship between variables is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The population of this study was students of the University of Education Indonesia who were still actively studying, totaling 27,082 students. The sample in this study was selected using Nonprobability Sampling. The sampling technique chosen in Nonprobability Sampling is a purposive sampling technique, which is a sampling technique for data sources with certain considerations. The criteria used are UPI Bandung students who are currently or have taken entrepreneurship courses in every faculty at UPI. With the sampling technique using the Solvin formula, a sample of 394 people was obtained spread over several academic units. The results show that with the Triangle approach the effectiveness of entrepreneurship learning in universities in Indonesia is positively influenced by entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial intentions, negatively influenced by entrepreneurial barriers. This finding implies that to increase the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education in higher education, it is necessary to increase entrepreneurial competence and entrepreneurial intention among students. This can be done through entrepreneurship education by the increasing practice where students not only learn theory but directly enter the world of entrepreneurship, so they can be motivated to set up new businesses. In addition, sharing experiences with practitioners also needs to be improved because it can change the mindset of students to become entrepreneurs.

The design applied action research in a classroom where there are two cycles conducted after primarily doing pre-cycle. The techniques to collect the data were an oral test, interviews with students and teacher, and field notes. The findings showed that the first cycle did not significantly enhance students’ skills in pronunciation because, among 24 students, 16 students passed the test with the category of a good score and sufficient. Some students were still confused with the pronunciation instruction and failed to test underscore 60. Thus, It needs the second cycle to reach the goal of the research. The second cycle pointed out that 19 students enhanced their pronunciation skills. This research furthermore gives some contribution. First, the students will have the confidence to use English without any affection to be awkward, nervous through having an interaction with each other and make them able to communicate well. Then, in language learning, it provides both practical and theoretical teaching ideas to the prospective teachers to help and to assess their students for enhancing accurate pronunciation.

Abstract

Education has an important role for child development. This research is a field research. The focus of the research is a study of the perspectives of students of the BK UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Study Program related to juvenile delinquency. The alpha generation or today's youth is the generation that emerged at a time when technology was advancing very rapidly. However, the development of the digital era goes hand in hand with moral degradation. Therefore, it is important to instill family education as the first education for children. The results of the study using simple linear regression analysis showed that the effect of family education on the prevention of juvenile delinquency was indicated by the value of R = 0.440 and the magnitude of the effect was 19.4%, which was proved by R2 = 0.194 which was included in the moderate/enough category. There is a significant influence between family education on the prevention of juvenile delinquency because the family is the first education for every child. Family education is the main basis for a better future life for children. But the rest is certainly influenced by other variables because children are not always in the family, such as the environment which also has a strong influence on child development.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the learning model, which consists of problem posing and conceptual understanding procedures (CUPs) and critical thinking on learning outcomes-oriented (HOTS) on the content of mathematics lessons. The research was conducted at a state elementary school in Jakarta, with a sample of 68 students. The independent variables are learning models and critical thinking, while the dependent variable is HOTS-oriented learning outcomes on the content of mathematics lessons. The method is an experimental method with a 2 x 2 research design. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity and Anova tests; Tukey's test was also used as a follow-up test. The results showed: 1) there were differences in the learning outcomes of HOTS-oriented mathematics between students who used the problem-posing learning model and students who used the CUPs learning model; 2) there are differences in HOTS-oriented mathematics learning outcomes between students who have high critical thinking skills and those who have low critical thinking skills; 3) there is an interaction effect between learning models and critical thinking on HOTS-oriented mathematics learning outcomes; 4) there are differences in HOTS-oriented mathematics learning outcomes for students who have high critical thinking skills between those using the problem-posing learning model and the CUPs model; 5) there is no difference in the learning outcomes of HOTS-oriented mathematics students who have low critical thinking skills between those using the problem-posing learning model and the CUPS model. The conclusion of the research is the problem posing learning model and critical thinking skills affect the HOTS-oriented learning outcomes of mathematics lessons. This implies that problem posing and CUPs are effective learning models in improving learning outcomes, so they can be taken into consideration and as new alternatives for teachers.
