Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of smartphone use on social interactions of adolescents at Salib Putih Salatiga Orphanage Foundation. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique used was total sampling in order to obtain a sample of 42 teenagers as residents of the Salatiga Orphanage Foundation. The data used is in this study using primary data obtained from the results of a questionnaire or questionnaire. This study uses simple regression analysis techniques and is processed with SPSS version 25 software. The simple linear regression test results show that the intensity of smartphone use has no effect on the social interactions of adolescents at the Salatiga Orphanage Foundation, this is evidenced by a significance level greater than 5% alpha, namely 0.590 > 0.05. Based on the Model Summary data in table 4.8, it can be seen that the value of the R Square is 0.007, which means 0.7%. So it can be concluded that the variable of smartphone use has an effect on social interaction by only 0.7%. and for 99.3% by other factors not described in this study. For this result because it is too small so it can be ignored.

Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh pada masa pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada semakin banyaknya video pembelajaran yang diunggah di Youtube dengan konsep yang kurang tepat dan tidak memberikan stimulus kepada siswa untuk belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan video animasi pola konfigurasi objek yang valid dan praktis dengan konsep yang benar serta memberikan stimulus yang tepat bagi siswa untuk mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Develoment dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Metode yang digunakan adalah non-tes dengan instrumen penelitian berupa angket kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan respons siswa. Video animasi melalui uji coba terbatas dengan subjek 18 siswa SMP yang sedang melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Hasil dari kevalidan dan kepraktisan media berturut-turut menunjukkan perolehan persentase sebesar 87,45% dan 97,06% dengan kategori sangat baik serta hasil uji coba terbatas terhadap penggunaan video animasi pada sekelompok siswa memperoleh respons yang sangat positif. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video animasi pola konfigurasi objek layak dan dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran jarak jauh.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit all countries in the world has had an impact on many sectors, including the education sector. Teaching and learning activities are transferred to a virtual face room. Online learning is carried out with the help of technology, one of those is quizizz which is a game-based learning media. This research is a qualitative research that aims to obtain information about the use of the Quizizz application in economic learning. The research subjects were high school and vocational high school students in Salatiga City, Boyolali Regency, and Semarang Regency. The results showed that the use of quizizz had a positive impact on students. Quizizz helped them to better understand the material, did not make them bored in learning, made them more enthusiastic, focused, and active in learning, relaxes when they were bored, makes students think critically, competitively, and broadly.

Abstract

Cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessments are significant in the learning process and should be done effectively, even in online learning. Therefore, this study aims to describe the implementation of online assessments in productive subjects in SMKN 3 Salatiga. This is a descriptive qualitative research using snowball sampling as a sampling technique. In-depth interviews to 10 teachers and qualitative observation were conducted to obtain the data. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman model which consisted of three steps (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing). The findings were all teachers conducted the online assessments in cognitive and affective domain. However, not all teachers conducted online psychomotor assessment. Internet access and technology devices became the main problems for online assessments implementation. The error system or application, lack of time, students’ discipline and activeness also became the challenge in online assessment. Some solutions such as rescheduling, changing the application, and communicating with parents were done. Offline assessments using health protocol of COVID-19 became the last choice to do.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the creative thinking disposition of elementary school students in mathematics based on their gender group. The research design used is a descriptive qualitative method. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that boys have a high mathematical creative thinking disposition and positive perceptions, boys and girls have the same high mathematical creative thinking disposition and moderate perception, in the category of moderate mathematical disposition and moderate perception, students fewer boys than girls. In male students, moderate mathematical creative thinking disposition and negative perceptions have more numbers than in female students. Furthermore, students who have a low creative thinking disposition and moderate perception are only boys. Students who have low mathematical creative thinking disposition and negative perceptions are only female students. The level of disposition and perception is very influential in the process of learning mathematics. Children who have a high mathematical creative thinking disposition and high perception certainly have a better enthusiasm for learning mathematics than other categories,

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengulik tiga faktor pendukung percepatan penulisan skripsi: kemampuan literasi, efikasi diri, dan motivasi akademik, menemukan mana penyumbang terbesar dari ketiganya, menjajaki hubungan antara ketiga faktor tersebut dengan kecepatan penulisan skripsi, serta menguji signifikansi perbedaan ketiga faktor pada kelompok mahasiswa yang cepat dan lambat dalam penulisan skripsi. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif kategori, korelasi, dan komparasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 96 orang mahasiswa penulis skripsi pada 3 prodi: BK, PAK (Pendidikan Agama Katolik), dan PGSD JIP, FKIP USD Angkatan Tahun 2014, 2015, dan 2016. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga macam skala model Likert, yaitu Skala Kemampuan Literasi dengan indeks Alpha Cronbach α 0,75; Skala Efikasi Diri (α 0,884); dan Skala Motivasi Akademik (α 0,701). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketiga faktor tersebut saling berhubungan dan secara signifikan mendukung percepatan penulisan skripsi di kalangan mahasiswa Jurusan Ilmu Pendidikan FKIP USD tahun akademik 2020/2021.

Abstract

Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang luar bisa terhadap peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia. Ditengah Pandemi Covid-19, model pembelajaran secara online sangat diharapkan mampu menjaga dan meningkatkan produktivitas pegawai dalam menghadapi cepatnya perubahan di lingkungan institusi. Dalam pelaksanaanya, ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana dibidang teknologi informasi menjadi suatu keharusan. Kehadiran sebuah teknologi yang mendukung pembelajaran online akan memberikan nilai tambah dan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap proses dan keberlangsungan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran online menjadi metode pembelajaran jarak jauh yang menggunakan platform untuk mendukung peningkatan pengetahuan, kemahiran, perilaku dan persepsi sumber daya manusia karena cepatnya perubahan teknologi. Model pembelajaran secara online ini termasuk salah satu dari bentuk penerapan strategi pengembangan manajemen SDM dilingkungan pemerintahan. Tujuan dari sistem pembelajaran online adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pegawai agar sebuah institusi mampu untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan pelayanan, daya saing dan keunggulan kompetitifnya. Manfaat yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pemerintah mampu mengetahui strategi untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran online yang efektif.

Abstract

Pembelajaran online semakin berkembang seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi dewasa ini. Online pembelajaran pengembangan akan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan portal pembelajaran online berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam kerangka Team Based Learning (TBL). Manfaat AI dalam mempersonalisasi pembelajaran berdasarkan cara siswa belajar, serta penggunaan TBL sebagai metode pembelajaran dibahas dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode untuk melakukan pengembangan penelitian. MOODLE sebagai Sistem Manajemen Pembelajaran sedang digunakan untuk memperluas portal pembelajaran online. Sementara itu, teknologi AI berkembang dengan menggunakan algoritme berdasarkan collaborative filtering untuk memprediksi gaya belajar dan algoritme evolusioner untuk menganalisis pertumbuhan kelompok siswa. Partisipan penelitian ini melibatkan 10 Sekolah Dasar (SD) di 3 provinsi berbeda dengan total peserta 262 siswa. Aplikasi program analisis data R digunakan uji paired t-test untuk membandingkan pre-test dan post-test. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran online berbasis AI dalam kerangka TBL dapat meningkatkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan. Abstract

Children’s’ fiction story contains moral teachings for character education. Fables are selected for implementation of this research for the reason that they include Indonesian cultural background. The storytelling was performed based on some elements: (a) opening technique, (b) movement exercises, (c) properties, (d) vocal sounds, (e) gestures, (f) sound intonation, (g) expression, and (h) closing techniques. This research aims to examine in depth the implementation of storytelling in Indonesian Language subject for character education. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, gaining sources from elementary school teachers in Wates Subdistrict. The data was collected through in-depth interviewing and observation, validated with triangulation method, that underwent the techniques carried out by data collection, reduction, presentation and verification or conclusion. Based on the interview to the teachers, it is concluded that storytelling can be used to educate characters to elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research using a causal study. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of empathy on prosocial behavior of elementary school students. The type of research is causal study. Data collection techniques by conducting documentation studies, interviews, observations and distributing questionnaires (surveys). The data processing was carried out in the form of testing the validity of the empathy instrument on students' prosocial behavior with the Pearson Product Moment formula and reliability testing with the Cronbach Alpha formula. The sample used in this study was 42 students, these results were obtained by the Taro Yamane formula. The price of the regression equation coefficient = 61.06 + 0.23x. This means that each increase of one unit of empathy variable will cause an increase of 0.23 units. The contribution of empathy to students' prosocial behavior is indicated by a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.93 with a determination of 86.49%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was an effect of empathy on the prosocial behavior of grade 3 students at SDN Cilendek 01 Bogor City in the 2021/2022 academic year. So, to improve students' prosocial behavior, one of them is by improving the empathy of their students.
