Abstract

Leptospirosis is a direct zoonosis where transmission occurs directly, without the use of other vectors, and humans are accidental hosts that are unintentionally related to infective animals or Leptospira contaminated material. Leptospirosis is a public health problem throughout the world, especially tropical and subtropical countries that have high rainfall, and is also a major problem in temperate regions. Leptospirosis is zoonosis due to Leptospira bacteria. Leptospirosis is a whole world with a broad spectrum of animals as its host. Infection that occurs in humans that occurs, after contact with air or other materials contaminated with animal waste. The aim is to study the relationship with the incidence of leptospirosis. The method used in this article is a literature review. Library sources used in preparation of literature review use journal articles from 2015 to 2017, the process of searching through Google Scholar articles. Journal discussion results show air temperature, humidity, increase in rainfall, air pH, and flood events have an influence on leptospirosis. Relationship between events with leptospirosis. The conclusion in this journal explains that there is a relationship between complications and the incidence of leptospirosis.

Abstract

Based on the Hulu Sungai Tengah District Health Office report, scabies continues to exist and is a problem that must to resolved immediately. The working area of the Pagat Health Center, which is one of the sub-districts in Hulu Sungai Tengah, experienced the highest increase in scabies cases. The purpose of this study was to determine personal hygiene relations include bathing habits and habit of using soap together with scabies in the working area of the Pagat Health Center. This type of research uses a retrospective approach (case-control study), which compares the behaviour of the sick group with a lively group associated with the incidence of scabies. The sample of this research is 30 people. Data will be analyzed using the x2 test (Chi-square). The results of this study indicate there is a relationship between bathing habits with the incidence of scabies P-value = 0.026

Abstract

Perubahan iklim secara langsung berkaitan dengan perubahan kondisi lingkungan. Iklim dan cuaca adalah komponen fisik dari suatu ekosistem. Jika ada beberapa perubahan dalam komponen fisik dari ekosistem, itu akan memiliki efek pada kejadian dan pola penyebaran penyakit influenza. Influenza (flu) adalah penyakit pernapasan menular yang disebabkan oleh virus influenza yang dapat menyebabkan penyakit ringan sampai penyakit berat. Penyebab influenza adalah virus RNA yang termasuk dalam keluarga Orthomyxoviridae yang dapat menyerang burung, mamalia termasuk manusia. Virus ditularkan melalui air liur terinfeksi yang keluar pada saat penderita batuk, bersin atau melalui kontak langsung dengan sekresi (ludah, air liur, ingus) penderita. Penulisan artikel ini dilakukan untuk untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim dengan kejadian penyakit influenza. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan literature review proses pencarian artikel melalui Google Scholar. Artikel jurnal yang di temukan menggunakan bahasa inggris dan key words yang digunakan dalam pencarian jurnal adalah Climate Corelation With The Incidence Of Influeza Disease. Artikel jurnal yang ditemukan dengan judul yang berbeda-beda tetapi mengacu pada hubungan antara iklim dengan kejadian penyakit influenza. Dari 6 artikel jurnal yang digunakan sebagai leteratur review memperoleh hasil bahwa ada hubungan antara iklim dengan kejadia penyakit influenza. Tren penyakit influenza meningkat pada musim penghujan dengan kelembaban udara yang sangat rendah.

Abstract

Low back pain is one of the musculoskeletal disorders resulting from the wrong ergonomics. Such conditions can occur in the informal work sector, such as clothes tailors at the Martapura Bauntung Batuah Market. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of work position with complaints of lower back pain in clothes tailors at the Bauntung Batuah Market Martapura. This study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique uses total sampling with criteria for male sex so that the number of samples is 43 people. Data will be analyzed using the x2 test (Chi-square). The results of the statistical analysis obtained the value of the work position p-value of 0,000 meaning that there is a relationship between the work position and complaints of lower back pain in the clothes tailor at the Martapura Bauntung Batuah Market. For other researchers, further research needs to being done on other factors such as individual factors and physical environmental factors that can cause complaints of lower back pain.

Abstract

Grand Dafam Hotel is a 4-star hotel located in the city of Ternate, North Maluku. The existence of this hotel influences on increasing the number of tourists in Ternate because it is a 4-star hotel at an affordable price. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Hygiene and Sanitation at the Grand Dafam Bella Ternate Hotel. Methods: This research design uses observational design with descriptive methods. The sample of this study is the total population, namely environmental and building health, room/room health requirements, sanitation facilities, employees, and food and beverage services at the Grand Dafam Hotel, Ternate. Sampling uses a total sampling technique. Instruments such as observation sheets/inspection forms refer to minister of health regulation Number 80 of 1990 regarding hospitality sanitation requirements and the Director-General of PPM and PLP Decree No. 95 of 1991 concerning Assessment of Hotel Health Examinations. Results: The results showed that the five components studied all met the requirements by accumulation, but some things did not meet the requirements such as a non-permanent waste collection facility. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is the Hotel Grand Dafam Bella Ternate has implemented Sanitation and Hygiene properly.

Abstract

Monoxide (CO) bonds with blood are 200 times stronger than oxygen bonds with blood. When inhaled CO will be absorbed through the lungs following the blood circulation and binds to haemoglobin to form HbCO in the tissues which will block the entry of oxygen needed by the body. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of air CO levels with oxygen saturation (SpO2) in officers in Terminal Type B of South Kalimantan Province. This type of research is analytically using a cross-sectional design with a sample of 24 people. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, CO measurement and SpO2 examination with Pulse Oximetry. Abstract

The Difference in Average DMF-T in Communities that Consume Refillable Bottled Drinking Water and Precipitated River Water. The average DMF-T index for Indonesia is 4.6 with a value of D-T component is 1.6, M-T component is 2.9, and an F-T component is 0.08. It means, tooth decay in Indonesian people is 460 teeth per 100 people (Riskesdas., 2013). The DMF-T index for Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan is 6.83, with a value of D-T component is 1.31, M-T component is 5.52, and F-T component is 0.12. It means, the average of tooth decay per person (severity of teeth per person) is 6.83 teeth or 7 teeth (Riskesdas., 2007). This study aimed to determine the difference of DMF-T average in people who consumed refillable bottled water and people who consumed river water treated by deposited, in Desa Samuda, Kecamatan Daha Selatan, Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. This research was an analytical survey with cross sectional approach. The sample of this research was all of the people in Desa Samuda, Kecamatan Daha Selatan, Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Selatan, as 110 participants. The independent variable was refilled bottled drinking water and deposited river water. The results showed that the DMF-T average in people who consumed refillable bottled water was 6.42 and the DMF-T average in people who consumed deposited river water was 8.20. Abstract

Mixed ice is a beverage that is very popular with people and is very easy to find. Traders mixed ice that their hygiene is not quite right; it is very easily contaminated by pathogen bacteria. Landasan Ulin District as a trading centre in Kota Banjarbaru makes it strategic place so many mixed ice traders found in this District. This study was aiming to determine the traders mixed ice's hygiene with the contamination of Salmonella sp bacteria in blended ice. This type of research was an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study design. Data were collected by observing, interviewing and examining samples, as many as 23 mixed ice samples were analysing of salmonella sp bacteria. Data analysis was performing using Somer's d correlation test. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between personal hygiene of mixed ice traders with Salmonella sp bacteria with a negative correlation direction which could be a conclusion that the higher the personal hygiene score of combined ice traders, the Salmonella sp bacteria would be harmful in mixed ice. It is suggested to the next researcher to check the Salmonella sp bacteria on each component of blended ice so that they will know at what stage Salmonella sp bacteria have contaminated the ice mixed.

Abstract

Workers porters are one part of the community that needs attention, because the work processes they carry out carry a lot of risks to their health status, one of which is complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Based on the results of a preliminary survey of 5 Bengkulu City Panorama Market workers porters, it was found that 100% had MSDs complaints. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) on workers porters at the Panorama Market in Bengkulu City. This study was an observational analytic study using a cross sectional study design. The population of the study was 124 freight carriers. The samples of this study were 124 workers with a total sampling technique. Chi square statistical test results found there is a relationship between work position and complaints MSDs (p = 0,000), there is a relationship of workload with complaints MSDs (p = 0.026), there is a relationship of age with complaints MSDs (p = 0.006), there is a relationship between working period and complaints MSDs (p = 0.001) and there is a relationship between BMI and MSDs complaints (p = 0.044). Suggestions that can be given for further research can add variables measuring environmental factors.

Abstract

This preliminary study aims to determine the quality of shallow water in the area of Kampung Ujung, Komodo District, Labuan Bajo City, West Manggarai Regency in September 2019. Sampling technique using the Purposive Sampling technique that is a determination technique with specific considerations with the number of two-point sampling points. The results of the analysis of physical and chemical testing of shallow water samples from two locations indicate that several parameters are exceeding the Class I Water Quality threshold that it can be a conclusion that the quality of 2 shallow water in Kampung Ujung Labuan Bajo area is not suitable to be used as raw material for water drink.
