Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Bagaimana penerapan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan kedisiplinan pada siswa di SDN Gayamsari 01 Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, dimana dalam penelitian kualitatif instrument utama adalah peneliti itu sendiri. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan angket. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Gayamsari 01 Semarang bulan Desember 2018 – Januari 2019. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan uji keabsahan data triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan kedisiplinan di SDN Gayamsari 01 Semarang telah cukup berjalan dengan baik, kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan adanya kegiatan kedisiplinan upacara setiap hari senin dan apel pagi selain hari senin, kemudian juga ada kegiatan berbaris di dalam kelas sebelum masuk kelas untuk memulai pembelajaran serta ada kegiatanmelalui mapel agama yaitu kotak amal untuk bersedekah dan sholat dhuhur berjamaah di mushola sekolah, semua kegiatan tersebut dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah melalui metode pembiasaan. AbstractThis study aims to describe the feasibility of character education through disciplinary activities in students at Gayamsari 01 Elementary School Semarang. The research method used is qualitative research, in which the main qualitative instrument research is the researcher itself. In this study the data technique used was interviews, documentation and questionnaires. This research was conducted at Gayamsari 01 Elementary School in Semarang from December 2018 - January 2019. In this study the validity data of triangulation data were used. The results showed that the implementation of character education through disciplinary activities at Gayamsari 01 Public Elementary School was quite well underway, this activity was carried out with disciplinary announcement activities every Monday and morning apples in addition to Monday, then there were also activities marching in the classroom before entering the class for start learning and there are activities through religious maps, namely charity boxes for charity and dhuhur prayers in congregation at the school mosque, all activities carried out by the school through habituation methods.

Abstract

 AbstrakSecara jujur harus diakui, pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) belum berlangsung seperti yang diharapkan. Guru cenderung menggunakan teknik pembelajaran yang bercorak teoritis dan hafalan sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung kaku, monoton, dan membosankan. Mata pelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia belum mampu melekat pada diri siswa sebagai sesuatu yang rasional, kognitif, emosional, dan afektif.Penggunaan metode diskusi kelompok pun belum mampu melibatkan setiap siswa ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran secara aktif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Hanya siswa tertentu yang terlibat dalam proses diskusi secara dialogis dan interaktif. Akibatnya, Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia belum mampu menjadi mata pelajaran yang disenangi dan dirindukan oleh siswa. Imbas lebih jauh dari kondisi pembelajaran semacam itu adalah kegagalan siswa dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan, keterampilan berbahasa, serta sikap positif terhadap bahasa dan sastra Indonesia.Dari permasalahan yang ada, maka penulis mengusulkan sebuah inovasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode diskusi kelompok model tanam paksa (pengembangan dari model kepala bernomor). Alat bantu yang digunakan dalam metode tersebut berupa kartu bernomor yang terbuat dari kertas HVS yang dipotong-potong dengan ukuran 5 cm x 5 cm agar mudah digulung. Jumlah kartu bernomor disesuaikan jumlah siswa. Dalam kartu dituliskan dua angka yang dipisahkan dengan tanda titik. Angka depan merupakan nomor kelompok, sedangkan angka kedua merupakan nomor anggota kelompok.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK PGRI 2 Kediri melibatkan 28 siswa kelas X Pemasaran. Pencapaian kompetensi belajar siswa kelas X Pemasran 1  pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 masih tergolong rendah hanya 57,63.  Nilai ini dibawah nilai standar ketuntasan belajar yang ditetapkan yaitu 75. Rendahnya pencapaian kompetensi belajar siswa disebabkan kurangnya aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran.  Pemilihan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan pencapaian kompetensi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menerapkan model tanam paksa yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan pencapaian kompetensi belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mendeskripsikan pelibatkan seluruh siswa secara aktif dalam kegiatan diskusi kelompok melalui penerapan diskusi model tanam paksa, (2) Mendeskripsikan cara mengatasi siswa yang kesulitan dalam mengemukakan pendapat dan memberikan tanggapan terhadap pendapat teman sekelasnya, dan (3) Mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara melalui metode diskusi kelompok model tanam paksa siswa kelas X Pemasaran 1 SMK PGRI 2 Kediri dalam menanggapi pembacaan cerpen tahun pembelajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus selama ± 3 bulan.  Tindakan setiap siklus dalam penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi kegiatan, dan refleksi.  Data penelitian diambil melalui lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, tes pencapaian kompetensi belajar siswa, wawancara, dan angket.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) Diskusi model tanam paksa dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dari siklus ke siklus.  Pada tes awal sebesar 14,2% kategori ”kurang aktif”, siklus I meningkat sebesar 46,5% kategori ”cukup aktif”; dan siklus II meningkat lagi sebesar 85,7% kategori ”aktif”.  (2) Diskusi model tanam paksa dapat meningkatkan pencapaian kompetensi belajar siswa dari siklus ke siklus.  Pada tes awal sebesar 14,2% kategori ”cukup”; siklus I meningkat sebesar 46,5% kategori ”baik”; dan siklus II meningkat lagi sebesar 85,7% kategori ”baik”. Secara umum penerapan diskusi model tanam paksa pada siswa kelas X Pemasaran 1 SMK PGRI 2 Kediri dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa, aktivitas dan pencapaian kompetensi belajar siswa. AbstractIn all honesty it must be admitted , learning Indonesian Language and Literature in Vocational High School ( SMK ) is not taking place as expected . Teachers tend to use learning techniques and theoretical patterned so rote learning activities take place rigid , monotonous , and boring . Subjects Indonesian Language and Literature could not rub off on students as rational , cognitive , emotional , and affectiveThe use of group discussion method was not able to involve every student in active learning activities , creative, effective , and fun . Only certain students who are involved in the process of discussion and interactive dialogue . As a result , Indonesian Language and Literature has not been able to become subjects loved and missed by students. Further impact of such learning conditions is a failure of students to develop the knowledge , skills, and positive attitudes towards language and literature Indonesia .Of the existing problems , the authors propose an innovative learning by using group discussions cultivation models ( the development of a model of the head are numbered ) . The tools used in the method of the numbered cards made of paper HVS are cut to size 5 cm x 5 cm to be easily rolled . The number of cards adjusted number of students . In a written card two numbers separated by periods. Figures before a group number, while the second number is the number of group members .The research was conducted at SMK PGRI 2 Kediri involving 28 students of class X Marketing . Achievement of competence of class X student Pemasran 1 lesson Indonesian first semester of the school year 2015/2016 is still relatively low at only 57.63 . This value is below the standard value stipulated mastery learning is 75. Low attainment of student learning due to lack of students in learning activities . This study was conducted in two cycles for ± 3 months . The action of each cycle in this research include planning, action, observation activities and reflection . Data were taken through observation sheet student activities, student learning competency achievement tests , interviews , and questionnaires .The results showed that ( 1 ) Discussion model of cultivation could increase the activity of students from cycle to cycle . In early tests by 14.2 % of the category " less active " , the first cycle increased by 46.5 % of the category " fairly active" ; and the second cycle increased again by 85.7 % the category of " active " . ( 2 ) Discussion cultivation models can improve student learning achievement of competence from cycle to cycle . In early tests by 14.2 % of the category " sufficient "; the first cycle increased by 46.5 % "good" category ; and the second cycle increased again by 85.7 % "good" category . In general, the application of forced cultivation models discussion in class X Marketing 1 SMK PGRI 2 Kediri can improve students' speaking skills , activities and achievement of student learning competencies .

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model  Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Psikologi Sosial di Jurusan Psikologi Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan UNESA. Problem Based Learning digunakan untuk merangsang berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam situasi yang berorientasi masalah, termasuk di dalamnya kemampuan berfikir kritis. Melalui penerapan Problem Based Learning ini, mahasisiswa diharapkan dapat menggali dan menemukan sendiri pemecahan masalah yang dibahas dalam proses belajar mengajar didalam kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Sebelum dilakukan penelitian hanya ada 66,6% mahasiswa dalam kategori “cukup kritis”  sedangkan 33,30% lainnya ada dalam kategori “tidak kritis”. Setelah dilakukan tindakan dalam siklus I dan siklus II ditemukan bahwa mahasiswa yang termasuk  dalam kategori “sangat kritis” dari yang semula tidak ada  meningkat menjadi 29%  sementara itu, untuk  kategori “kritis” dari yang semula tidak ada meningkat menjadi 58% mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah Psikologi Sosial jurusan Psikologi Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan UNESA. AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills in the Social Psychology course at the Psychology Department of the Faculty of Education at UNESA. Problem Based Learning is used to stimulate high-level thinking in problem-oriented situations, including the ability to think critically. Through the application of Problem Based Learning, students are expected to explore and find their own problem solving discussed in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The method used is Classroom Action Research. Before to the study there were only 66.6% of students in the "quite critical" category while the other 33.30% were in the "uncritical" category. After the study with cycle I and cycle II found that students included in the category of "very critical" from none is increase to 29% of student while for the "critical" category from none is increase  to 58% of students. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model is able to improve students' critical thinking skills in the Social Psychology course at the Psychology Department of the Faculty of Education at UNESA.

Abstract

Human nature is the core found in humans. In the perspective of Islamic Education Philosophy is something very important and fundamental that can determine human life. The target of education is humans who intend to help students to grow and develop their human potential. Human potential is an ability that might be developed to become a human. Education should be able to humanize humans. By basing on an understanding of human nature, educational activities and processes are carried out and aim to develop a more normative human personality. Because, without a true understanding of what, who, why, and for what humans, education will fail to realize the ideals of human beings. The ultimate goal of education is to make the person based on the principle of real realization, namely to realize the potential that already exists in humans in the form of moral potential, skills and physical development.

Abstract

Full Day school is an education system that carries out a full-day learning process that starts from 6:45 until 3:00. Behind the advantages of the 2013 curriculum that allows productive students to study in school for a long time. The system also has a weakness that is quite influential on students that is not effective in providing rest time for the brain. The system might cause students to become bored, tired and feel burdened because they have to study for the duration of that long. This study aims to discuss how the planned forms of innovation provide solutions to the ineffectiveness of the education system in the 2013 curriculum and about how the 4-hour learning innovation system in one day as a form of the effectiveness of learning outcomes. This system has a disadvantage that is quite influential on students that is not effective in providing rest time for the brain. The system might cause students to become bored and feel burdened because they have to study for the duration of that long. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by examining several data sources and analyzing and comparing existing innovations with previous research. The development of this innovation is that it can reduce the burden of students' minds from the 2013 curriculum education system by using a 4-hour learning design to focus students on learning some subjects they want to master, it is supported by holding reflections on student learning outcomes so that teachers can evaluate how development learners learn from the teaching and learning process that has taken place.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan suatu hal yang penting karena dapat memberikan variasi dalam  proses belajar mengajar. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa powerpoint, torso organ pencernaan dan gambar sketsa mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas kemampuan menggambar sketsa organ pencernaan pada mata kuliah struktur hewan dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan the static-group pretest-posttest design . Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor pada masing-masing kelas, skor posttest di kelas eksperimen 1 yaitu 94.40 dan di kelas eksperimen 2 yaitu 85.40 dari skor maksimum 100. Perbandingan rerata skor N-gain 0,34 pada kelas eksperimen 1 dan 0,30 pada kelas eksperimen 2 yang masing-masing termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan terdapat peningkatan penguasaan konsep mahasiswa melalui kemampuan menggambar sketsa organ pencernaan pada mata kuliah struktur hewan. AbstractLearning media is an important thing because it can provide variation in teaching and learning process. Learning media used  in this research are powerpoint, torso digestive organs and student draw sketches. The purpose of this research is to know the skills of draw sketches of the digestive organs in animal structure course to increase the  mastery of  student concept. The method  used  the quasi eksperiment with the static-group pretest-posttest design. The result showed that there was an increase of score in each class, the posttest score in the first experiment class was 94.40 and  the second experimental class  was 85.40 from  the maximum score 100. The average comparison of the N-gain score of 0.34 in the experimental classes 1 and 0, 30 in the experimental class 2, each of which belongs to the moderate category. Based on  the results of  research and data analysis can be concluded  that was  improvement mastery of student concept through draw sketches of the digestive organs in animal structure course.

Abstract

AbstrakSecara umum capaian ketrampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik masih rendah dibanding negara lain. Untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir  tingkat  tinggi, pendidik dituntut untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang  mendukung  dan  menggunakan   strategi pembelajaran. Upaya meningkatkan ketrampilan berpikir peserta didik dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan ketrampilan metakognisinya. Ada berbagai jenis strategi metakognitif yang dapat dipilih pendidik, satu diantaranya menggunakan strategi pemecahan masalah (problem solving). Dalam proses pemecahan masalah, individu menggunakan kedua kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan praktis, yang meliputi kegiatan metakognitif seperti analisis, sintesis dan evaluasi. Pembelajaran  berbasis masalah merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk merangsang berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dalam situasi yang berorientasi pada masalah yang nyata, termasuk di dalamnya belajar bagaimana belajar. AbstractIn general, higher order thinking skills achievements of learners is still low compared to other countries. To develop higher order thinking skills, educators are required to create a learning atmosphere that supports and use learning strategies. Efforts to improve thinking skills that learners can do to improve metacognitive skills. There are different types of metacognitive strategies that can be selected educators, one of which uses problem solving strategies. In the process of solving problems, individuals using both cognitive abilities and practical skills, which include metacognitive activities such as analysis, synthesis and evaluation. Problem-based learning is an instructional approach used to stimulate students' higher order thinking in situations oriented real problems, including learning how to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of diagnostic test questions with regular straight motion material. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. In this research, Sujek was a class X student at Jagoi Babang 01 High School. The research instrument was in the form of question feasibility questionnaire addressed to the validator and the test used to test the characteristics of the questions including validity, reliability, level of difficulty and differentiating power of the questions and knowing the profile of students' conceptual understanding. The results of the study indicate that: (1) A total of 13 questions have very good assessment criteria by experts; (2) 9 questions are declared valid and 3 questions are invalid; (3) Reliability index of 0.81 with very strong criteria; (4) 11 questions have medium criteria and 1 problem is difficult keriteria; (5) criteria for distinguishing good as many as 4 questions, criteria are enough 6 questions and bad criteria 2 questions; (6) The percentage of students who understand the concept is 22.31%, misconceptions are 36.56% and do not understand the concept of 41.13%.

Abstract

AbstrakKemajuan suatu bangsa bergantung pada kualitas sumber daya manusianya. Kualitas sumber daya manusia dihasilkan oleh pendidikan yang berkualitas, Menghasilkan pendidikan berkualitas, guru menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan. Guru merupakan  faktor penentu keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK) mengemban tugas menyiapkan guru profesional, pendidik generasi bangsa masa depan. Guru merupakan jabatan profesional yang memberikan layanan ahli dan menuntut persyaratan kemampuan akademik, pedagogis, sosial, maupun profesional. Hasil uji kompetensi guru  pada tahun 2015 menunjukkan kompetensi pedagogis guru rendah menempatkan LPTK sebagai lembaga yang paling bertanggungjawab dengan rendahnya kompetensi yang dimiliki. Diketahui bersama, bahwa guru merupakan produk LPTK, sehingga LPTK adalah lembaga yang lebih bertanggungjawab dengan kondisi tersebut. Masalah ini perlu dijadikan bahan evaluasi bagi LPTK dalam meningkatkan kualitas calon guru. Adapun beberapa rekomendasi perbaikan mutu LPTK adalah 1) perbaikan kurikulum LPTK berbasis KKNI dan SNPT, 2) penguatan sistem pembelajaran yang efektif, 3) Pengembangan model pembelajaran berbasis student center learning, 4) penguatan program magang kependidikan, 5) penguatan pada mata kuliah dasar kependidikan, dan 6) Pengembangan mutu LPTK.                                                                                                                              AbstractThe progress of a nation depends on the quality of human resources. The quality of human resources generated by education quality, Produce quality education, the teacher becomes a factor the key to success. Teachers are the critical success factors education. Education Workforce Education Institutions (LPTK) the task of preparing professional teachers, educators generation the nation's future. The teacher is a professional position which gives expert services and demanding requirements of academic skills, pedagogical, socially, and professionally. Test results of competence of teachers in 2015 pedagogical competence of teachers showed low as placing LPTK the institutions most responsible for the lack of competence owned. Known, that the teacher is a product LPTK, so LPTK is more responsible institution with the condition. This issue needs to be used as an evaluation for LPTK in improving the quality of teacher candidates. As for some of the recommendations LPTK quality improvement are 1) improvement of curriculum-based LPTK KKNI and SNPT, 2) strengthening effective learning system, 3) Development of a model-based learning student learning center, 4) strengthening educational internship program, 5) strengthening the courses basic education, and 6) Development LPTK quality.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of online mathematical game design using HTML and Flash in e-learning-assisted mathematics education multimedia lectures. This research is a pre-experimental type of one-shot case study. The research participants were a class of students consisting of 34 people (5 men and 29 women), 5th- semester students in multimedia mathematics education courses in the mathematics education department at one of the universities in Indonesia. The research instrument was a questionnaire through Google forms and interviews. In this study, triangulation was carried out using documentation, interviews, and theory. Based on the results of the study note that HTML and Flash can be used in the design of mathematical games even though students have not previously learned both but the results are good. The author suggests that students be able to try the math game at school during research or teaching practice. In addition, the authors hope the game can be published on the internet so that it can be used by many students.
