Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the validity, practicality of learning devices, and the effectiveness of the integrated learning tools of the POE model to help student understanding of concept and famililiarize students with critical thinking skills. This research isa research development that adapting using a 4-D development model and data collection techniques using observations, questionnaires, and test. The trial was conducted in the 2019/2020 school year with a total of 20 research subjects. The results of the research that have been done prove that the POE model based learning process can be applied because it has good validity with an average value above 3.6, while for the evaluation of practicability it can be said to be weel proven in the implementation of learning which has an average have value of 79,5%, and the effectiveness of the learning process can be agreed affective based on the learning achievement test related to understanding concept and critical thinking skills before only 45% of students who completed it and after participating in learning up to 100% of students who completed it resulted with a value of ≥75.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan tingkat kelayakan dan perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media peta puzzle berbasis adobe flash dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning (CTL) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS kelas IV di SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau Education Research and Development (RnD) dan uji coba hasil belajar menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa. Hasil validasi terhadap media pembelajaran memiliki kevalidan dan kelayakan yang cukup tinggi dengan memperoleh prosentase kevalidan 86%, hasil penilaian dari ahli isi materi memperoleh prosentase kevalidan seluruhnya 85%, hasil penilaian dari guru kelas IV atau ahli isi materi memperoleh prosentase kevalidan 90% dan hasil tanggapan atau respon pesera didik dilapangan memperoleh prosentase kevalidan seluruhnya 89%. Sedangkan tes hasil belajar peserta didik pretest yang mendapatkan nilai rata- rata 59 sedangkan posttest mendapatkan nilai rata- rata 89. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media peta puzzle berbasis adobe flash dengan pendekatan contextual teaching and learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV.

Abstract

This paper tries to understand the "Merdeka Belajar" policy program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in the light of constructivism philosophy. Constructivism is a philosophi that assumes that knowledge is self-construction. Because the nature and learning outcomes are subjective, and depend on each individual, also uncertain, for one's constructivism entity and are more easily recognized by the term "Clutter Paradigm". There are parallels between what was proclaimed by Mas Minister Nadiem Makarim and the concept of education according to the philosophy of the concept of constructivism. Both of them emphasize the aspects of freedom, independence, and flexibility of educational institutions in understanding the competence of students. Learning arrangement with a chaotic approach so that students can be safe, comfortable, and easy to learn. Students as learning subjects –learner control play an important role in structuring the learning. The initiative of children as learners to learn –the willingness to learn- will die when faced with many rules that do not exist in the learning process. It takes freedom, reality, as well as positive attitudes and perceptions of learning as basic capital in the danger of learning initiatives that ultimately result in success in learning.

Abstract

Pesantren merupakan warisan luhur para pensyi’ar ajaran dan nilai Islam di bumi nusantara. Khazanah budaya Islam Indonesia harus tetap dilestarikan dan dipertahankan agar tidak kehilangan jati diri. Terbukti, pesantren banyak melahirkan tokoh-tokuh pejuang kemerdekaan, pendiri bangsa dan banyak peran penting lain yang diambil sebagai wujud cinta akan bangsa dan negara. Belakangan, pesantren banyak mengalami tantangan sejalan dengan perkembangan zaman yang menuntut pesantren harus berubah dan memenuhi pendidikan kebutuhan masyarakat. Problematika pendidikan pesantren menjadi bahasan yang menarik untuk dikaji untuk pembenahan pendidikan Islam di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

The discourse on mental health is often an interesting and beneficial discussion across time. There are many developing concepts adopted from western thoughts. The concept offered by Islamic Psychology has not been explored yet. One of them is the concept of mental health from the perspective of Abu Zaid al-Balkhi. This study aims to analyze the concept of Islamic mental health, specifically the thought of Abu Zaid al-Balkhi in the book Maṣāliḥu al-Abdān wa al-Anfus. By using a type of qualitative research with a descriptive-analytical method specifically in describing and analyzing mental health concepts, according to Abu Zaid al-Balkhi. Based on this research, it can be seen that mental health or a healthy soul is the stability of the soul’s strength in humans so that it can defeat the turmoil of psychiatric signs. Al-Balkhi classifies psychiatric symptoms into four groups, namely, sadness and anxiety (al-ḥuzn wal jazʻ), obsession (al-waswas), anger (al-gaḍab), and finally, fear and phobia (al-khauf wa al-fazʻ). To achieve happiness, humans should always try and strive for a balance between the body and soul. The attachment of both (body and soul) is in harmony with human construction, namely physical and spiritual. Caring for and maintaining health as a preventive effort is preferred than treating it if already sick. This is what distinguishes the concept of healing the soul of Islam, according to al-Balkhi, with the concept of western secular psychotherapy

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of rewording in the form of stickers with star images, in increasing the duration of sitting endurance for autistic students during the learning process. This study used an experimental method with a single subject research approach. The subject of this study was a class VI autistic student who had a low duration of sitting resistance during the learning process in the classroom. Researchers made observations during seventeen meetings, all data were obtained through observation, interviews and action tests which were presented in graphic form. To measure the duration of sitting endurance, the researcher used a stopwarch analysis tool. Overall the results of the research on the initial conditions for five meetings were 2 minutes, 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 3 minutes 3 minutes. Furthermore, in the intervention condition during the seven meetings the researcher gave reword in the form of a star sticker image, the results were 4 minutes, 3 minutes, 4 minutes, 6 minutes, 5 minutes, 7 minutes, 8 minutes. At baseline A2 conditions obtained dudu resistance results After being given the treatment, namely 5 minutes, 5 minutes, 6 minutes, 7 minutes, 9 minutes. The results of this study prove that giving rewords in the form of star stickers in the learning process can increase the duration of sitting endurance for autistic students, but it is necessary to develop further research in this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

Thaharah is one of the syariah in Islam which teaches its adherents about cleanliness as a form of obedience to the provisions that Allah has commanded. PHBS is a movement, attitude, knowledge, and pro-active action whose aim to maintain and prevent from disease. This study aims to determine the relationship between understanding thaharah material and hygiene and healthy living habits (PHBS). The research method used in this research is correlational quantitative method. The sample in this study were students of class VIII MTs Darul Muttaqien Bogor Regency. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and tests. The instruments used in this study were 15 test items and 13 questionnaires. The results of the study through correlational tests showed that there was a significant relationship between understanding thaharah material and clean and healthy living habits (PHBS). The correlational test shows a significance value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.0000 <0.05 with a Pearson correlation value of 0.878 so that it is interpreted that the relationship between the two is strong

Abstract

This research examines the effectiviness of phonic method on reducing the level of speech delay in children aged 4-5 years at Integrated Islamic Kinderganten Al Ummah Gresik. Phonic method is a developed by optimizing all language skills, listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Speech delay occurs when the level of speech development of a child is below the level of quality of speech development of normal children in general according tho their age. This research uses description of quantitative action research type, one group pre-test and post-test design. This research uses a non-probability sampling technique whit a suturated sampling technique. The populations were 10 children and the sample were 6 children in the severe speech delay category and 4 children in the light speech delay category. The data analysis technique used the mann-whitney test analysis. The analysis show that there is an effect of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay in the severe speech delay group. Whereas in the light speech delay group stated that there was no effect of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay. Furthermore, the gain score calculation also shows tha there is no difference in the effectiveness of giving phonic method treatment on reducing the level of speech delay in both the severe speech delay category and the light speech delay category. This suggest tha further researchers provide treatment by experts or people who are experts in their fields, and it is advisable to choose other types of research, such as experimental research, so that the result are more comprehensive.
