Abstract

Wireless Mesh network (WMN) is a set of wirelessly connected nodes forming a mesh topology. Over the WMN, the process of transmitting data information requires a path to get to the destination node, namely reactive protocol and proactive protocol. Security wise, routing protocols are still vulnerable to various forms of attack, especially against active attacks that can destroy, modify and deleting not only data but also the information within. Based on the said problems, the writer decided to make a research called Comparative Impact Analysis of Black Hole Attack on the Performance of OLSR and AODV routing Protocols in Wireless Mesh Network's Network. The results obtained in this study is that the black hole attack does affects the performance of AODV and OLSR routing protocols. The test was done using OMNET++ with three test scenarios, that is to say, without-attack; with multiple-attack nodes; and with big-probability of attack. Test parameters include throughput, end-to-end delay, packet loss and packet delivery ratio. The result of research using 18 nodes of attacker showed that packet loss on OLSR is higher than AODV which is proved by the highest packet loss result in AODV that only has 99.33% while OLSR has 99,50%.

Abstract

Malang is a big city that develops in East Java, so it is not surprising that there are many freight forwarding partners that offer freight services to the public. Where most of the average of the goods delivery partner is its reach not only in Malang alone but nationally and even internationally. Thus, many people are still confused to choose which shipping service partners are best seen from the characteristics of the goods such as easily broken, fragile, large dimensions and so on. So it raises the risk when the process of delivery of goods. So, it is necessary to build a system that can help the community in taking a decision. The model used to build this Decision Support System uses Fuzzy Multiple Atribute Decision Making (FMADM) with Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method- Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). It is hoped that the decision will be more objective, so that the selected partners will meet the needs of the community and minimize the mistakes. Accuracy calculation results from 7 data comparison of actual results data with target data results of 28.57% and comparison of actual results data with target results of 71.42%. And the value of Usability Testing from 20 respondents obtained the result of 71.66% of questions able to answer, the percentage of 28.33% of questions can not be answered by the respondents, from these results can be concluded that the android application is declared good.

Abstract

Malang Regency is one of the regencies in East Java which has a high level of agricultural production in almost every district has agricultural land. The problem is when high rainfall is not a few farmers who experienced crop failure. Rainfall is one of several factors that affect climate change so it is very important to determine the yields obtained. The problem of this harvest failure can be overcome by forecasting rainfall, with rainfall forecasting farmers can determine the time of the appropriate cropping patterns so as to anticipate the occurrence of crop failure. On the research of forecasting rainfall in dasarian based on several factors namely temperature, humidity, and wind speed. The methods used for forecasting rainfall dasarian is a High-Order Fuzzy Time Series Multi factors. In this method the formation of subinterval using fuzzy C-means. In calculating the error of forecasting result using Mean Square Error (MSE). Based on the results of tests conducted the smaller threshold and the greater data training as well order the value error is obtained increasingly low. The result of forecasting dasarian rainfall for forecasting one year ahead using this method get the best MSE result of 539,698.

Abstract

Kota Batu is threated by landslide disaster, based on data from BPBD Kota Batu in the period of January 1, 2016 to July 31, 2016, there have been 39 landslide events, with the value of material loss reached Rp. 2,836,000,000,00. Early detection system of landslide disaster that has been installed BPBD Kota Batu currently can not work optimally. As the result the sistem is not appropriated. To overcome these problems, this research proposes a solution of early landslide detection system based on 3D landslide WebGIS with real time monitoring system and spatial data visualization, in order to anticipate landslide disaster. Stage of software development using prototype model to guarantee software quality according to requirement of BPBD Kota Batu. Implementation phase is done by extraction of DEM data, then processing spatial data result of onscreen digitation BALITBANGDA Kota Batu, extraction of survey result data, building digitation, building 3D Map, and doing 3D Map visualization into WebGIS. The test method uses unit testing and sensor accuracy. Unit testing results show that all components of the program unit have the desired output results, so that all features can run well, while the sensor accuracy test results show a high degree of accuracy, so the data published by the system is valid.

Abstract

Fixed and improved traffic facilities continue to be done continuously, but the timing of uncompleted fixes that really only add to the existing traffic congestion will have an impact on the convenience and security of traffic users. Research has been done a lot to predict traffic density but not much focused on traffic on the highway. With fuzzy time series method optimized with Genetic Algorithm method, the writer wants to help solve the problem to predict traffic density on the highway, hopefully the result of research can help as a reference for improvement and improvement of facility in traffic do not increase congestion. Based on the results of top-level testing of predicted results using the Average Forecasting Error Rate (AFER) method, the result of the error rate of 16.66% is included in both qualification and successful.

Abstract

Digital image processing is useful for fixing image quality, so it we can recognize objects and provide the information we need. The first step of digital image processing is data acquisition. This process is to get the data that we need from the image. After that is the process of segmentation by grouping the image. The final step is the selection and extracting process, from this process we can analyze and display the information that contained in the image. One of the use of digital image processing is that it can be applied to the vehicle system as automatic driver assistant. With that system we can reduce the rate of accidents caused by human factors. Automatic driver assistant driver system can also help the driver for parking, auto pilot driving, detect traffic signs and assist the driver in performing the appropriate action. In this study, the detected traffic signs was a warning sign. Warning signs have an important role to warn the dangers that drivers must be faced. One of the simplest and easiest methods to recognize images is by using the Template Matching method. This method works by matching the images taken with the template. This method has a high success rate. The results of the program success rate test in recognizing the warning signals reached 88%.

Abstract

Ice Ah is a small business established since 11 April 2016 in Malang City. As a small business it is a very logic thinking that a business want to immediately attract people attention as a customer, because a business is vulnerable in their first year with a limited resource and competition with another business. For that reason the marketing ability become a necessary factor in a business growth, especially with a small business that make use of small scale customer. To improve the marketing ability in a business, a system that can do marketing functionality and targeting an area with a vary scale and also adjusting to customer location is needed. In this research the marketing system made there on application using geofence methodology with the information delivered as notification. Based on the test which have been done, all of the geofence marketing system functionality can work well with corresponding requirement which have been made, and having user experience value based on 6 scale with the value of Attractiveness 1.45, Perspicuity 1.725, Efficiency 1.4, Dependability 1.275, Stimulation 1.4375 and Novelty 1.0125. based on the benchmarking test with 246 other product generated a 6 scale comparison result with value of Attractiveness is above average, Perspicuity is good, Efficiency is above average, Dependability is above average, Stimulation is good and Novelty is above average.

Abstract

Every year, the demand for sugar continues to grow as consumption of the community grows and growth in the food and beverage sector. In 2014 the consumption of white crystal sugar (GKP) reaches 2.84 million tons, while in 2015, GKP consumption reached 2.98 million tons and will continue to increase every year. But now the productivity of sugar has decreased. The decline in productivity is caused by several things, one of which is the decrease in the level of sugar content or sugar content in sugarcane stalks. In addition to high rainfall and improper harvesting methods, other sugar cane inhibiting factors are pests and diseases of sugarcane. The limited number of experts and extension agents while in the field, as well as the lack of knowledge of farmers cause problems surrounding pests and diseases of this cane can not be solved immediately. Because of the limitations of these conditions, the authors make an expert system to facilitate the farmers in order to identify diseases and pests in sugar cane plants. This system makes the process of disease identification as well as the conclusion of the diagnosis calculated using the Dempster-shafer method by using fact-insert facts from the user. This expert system makes it easy to determine the type of disease that suits the symptoms. Testing is done by comparing the diagnosis of the system with the results of expert diagnosis using 30 test data consisting of 19 cases of pests and 11 cases of disease in sugarcane.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the important sectors in Banyuwangi Regency. An unexpected increase in the number of tourists makes it difficult for tourism department to give their best service. On the contrary, if there is a reduction, it will cause the decrease of the occupancy rate and the tourism sector that already exist. Forecasting the number of tourists is needed to determine the number of visitors in the future, so the solution can be anticipated as early as possible when number of tourists is more or less than the targeted. Forecasting that conducted in this study was using Fuzzy Logical Relationship and Genetic Algorithm. Fuzzy Logical Relationship is used to forecast the number of tourist based on tourist data history, then Genetic Algorithm is used to perform optimization interval distribution that will be used on Fuzzy Logical Relationship. Data that were used as many as 144 historical data from January 2005 to December 2016, number of tourist data was achieved from the Department of Culture and Tourism of Banyuwangi Regency. The results of the tests that was conducted on forecasting the number of visitors using the FLR and GA equations produce 280x10-9 in fitness which means the difference between the average of actual data and the result of forecasting is 3572978344 in MSE.

Abstract

Parking lot is one of many facilities owned by all faculties in Brawijaya University. But, usually the available parking space is full at certain times. So, the students usually have to search for the empty parking slots by them selves. Currently in Universitas Brawijaya there is no application that can provide information about the parking lot that still has empty space. This research aims to make a mobile device application to provide recommendation of parking lot which still have empty space. This application uses longitude and Latitude of Google API fiture and tested using blackbox method. From the validation tests performed, the features in the application work well with a 100% percentage. Beside validation testing, there also performed quisionaire tests and field tests which results are considered as good. For each question, there is 20% rate for very good, 60% for good, and 20% for fair on average. This application can be used to help users, both students and parking officers to conduct business processes in the parking lot of Universitas Brawijaya.
