Abstract

Department of Communication and Information Tulungagung (Diskominfo) is an institution that has the main function of formulating policies, evaluating and reporting in the field of communication and information service. But, in its implementation is still not optimal and there are constraints on the delivery and support of IT services such as the lack of references and of procedures in several processes that causes the process is not running optimally, the existing human resources are still inadequate in terms of skills and numbers. Diskominfo Tulungagung has never evaluated IT governance before. Therefore, an evaluation of information technology governance is needed using the COBIT 4.1 platform of Deliver and Support (DS) domains. The purpose of this study is to obtain the maturity level that obtained from the results of questionnaires and interviews with correspondents based on RACI Chart. The gap value is calculated between the current maturity level and what is expected by diskominfo. Based on previous calculations, recommendations is produced. From the results of the maturity level calculation, the average result of the DS domain is 1.50 and the gap value is 1.00 until 3.00. To achieve the expected maturity level, researchers provide recommendations in the form of suggestions that are doing good planning, formally documenting and making a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document for each DS domain process. These are recommendations are expected to be implemented by field of E-Government Organization to achieve goals in better management of IT services.

Abstract

Mountain climbing is one of nature's exploration activities that requires knowledge in understanding the map and area to be passed. However, not all climbers have knowledge of navigation, its causing the risk of getting lost while climbing. Navigation assistant that exist, only guide climbers only first route to final destination and can't save the route that already passed, until it causes climber difficulty going back to first route when they lost. Because that, in minimizing te risk of lost, be required navigation assistant device that cloud show the route has been passed. Based on these problems in this research created a navigation device assistant technology called GPS back track. This device is built with several components such a, the U-Blox Neo 6 M GPS module that functions in retrieving GPS data in the form of latitude and longitude coordinates, LCD display 800 x 480 TFT function displays information in the recording process running routes, Raspberry pi 2B functions process data input and output during the process of recording the route and the main resources for running the entire system using power bank. GPS back track has a feature that is able to open the recorded file that has been created and displayed on the LCD display. Based on the results of GPS accuracy testing, it is known that the GPS module error percentage at latitude coordinates is 3.77505% and longitude is 3.698758%. While in the testing of device recording, tracks and trackbacks functions can record routes and display them on the LCD in the form of route lines that are passed.

Abstract

The technical implementation unit for fisheries technical training in fisheries and processing of fisheries products (UPT PTPBP2KP) Kepanjen is one of the UPTs under the East Java provincial fisheries service, in this agency the guidance and training for fish farmers is expected to increase knowledge and skills. In general, the types of activities are divided into 2 types, namely training activities and monitoring and evaluation activities (MONEV). During the training and MONEV activities it takes more than 3 days because from the participant's search process to the creation of activity reports it still uses management documents in the form of hard copy and files in excel format. Based on this problem, the information system of training activities at UPT PTPBP2KP Kepanjen is needed using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method to support and improve business processes. By using the RUP method, the problem solving process can work well because the iteration process can be repeated at the beginning to the end of the system development so that it can minimize errors in the needs of the system to be made. Later the results of this study are in the form of a website-based activity information system, from the developed system testing using 3 test methods namely black-box testing method that produces valid values ​​from each test item, compatibility testing method which results in minor issues and major issues in certain types of browsers, and the latest testing uses the user acceptance testing (UAT) method that produces a final assessment result of 93.4% or is very agreeable. Based on the results of these tests it can be concluded that the existence of information systems activities can improve and support business processes.

Abstract

Road damage is one of the many problems experienced in Indonesia, especially in the capital city, such as Makassar as the capital of South Sulawesi Province and becoming focus of problems that must be resolved by the local government Unfortunately, there is no balance between the number of damage roads and the budget. So, the government needs a system to help the government in recommending road improvements based on factors that can be quantified. This thesis will discuss the application of AHP-TOPSIS method to determine road priority recommendations to be repaired. The AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method in this case will play a role in the weighting process and continue with the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method to calculate the shortest distance between the alternative with the value of the positive ideal solution. AHP method includes several processes, such as normalization, calculation of eigen vector values, calculation of index value consistency and calculation of the value of consistency ratio. While the TOPSIS method includes several processes namely normalization, calculation of positive and negative ideal matrices then proceed with the calculation of the maximal measure max value and separation measure min. This system uses data from 78 data which form the basis of calculations and 10 road recommendation data which become test data. The application of the AHP-TOPSIS method to determine priority recommendations for road repair in Makassar using various factors such as: good road conditions, moderate road conditions, damaged road conditions, severely damaged road conditions and LHR (average daily traffic). From this study obtained an accuracy value of 70% due to the difference between the results of system trials with data obtained from the Public Works Office of the City of Makassar.

Abstract

PPID department on KPU Malang city is a department that its function is to provide, serve, and publish public information. In the daily operation, some processes are still not optimal like data is not integrated, loss of data because of human error, and information that is not updated on timely manner because of poor management of information. Based on those mistakes, this research aim to evaluate current business process on PPID. Business process is modeled using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). After modeling the business process, the next step is to evaluate the business process and improving the business process. After the business processes are evaluated using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), the result is Risk Priority Number (RPN). Each of highest RPN from four business processes are solved using Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. The results of business process improvement are time improvement of 65.47% per process on penerimaan permohonan informasi publik process, time improvement of 99.47% per process on penyusunan laporan process, time improvement of 28.33% per process on pengesahan laporan process, and 97.46% per process on umpan balik laporan process.

Abstract

A wheelchair is a tool for people who have difficulty walking by foot. There are various types of wheelchairs, one electric wheelchair. In its application, the electric wheelchair users still experiencing inconvenience in the form of vibration is received due to the uncertain road conditions as well as the static motor speed control. Congressional control of the speed of rotation of the Motor the Smart Wheelchair that works by controlling the speed of a DC motor using PID method. Input system of sensors the IMU working as detector uneven road conditions. The results of the readings of the sensors the IMU in the form of the position on the x-axis, y-axis, and z-axis. Input from the sensors the IMU processed on NodeMCU method using the PID to determine the speed of the motor. PID process started off doing the giving the value of the setpoint, and the processing of data from the accelerometer has been transformed into a vector. The input of the sensor will determine the value of the vibration to be processed using the PID. After the output values obtained, electric motors will move in accordance with the magnitude of value of output where the motor can increase the speed up to the highest limit if road conditions. Conversely, if uneven road conditions then the motor will lower the speed up to dampen the shocks. The results of the testing of this system in the form of percentage of IMU sensors sensitivity of 90% and the percentage of the system's success in absorbing the vibrations of 80%.

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things is always supported by the WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) concept but the battery power consumption of WSN raises a constant need to lower the energy requirement. LoRa (Long Range) technology acquires low power consumption and broad communication range of more than 2 km, however cannot send data directly to the server. So that a data delivery system is needed to connect between devices at the sensor node to a server called the gateway. The communication between gateway and data centers employs MQTT protocol since it supports the characteristics of IoT such as small bandwidth usage. This research attempted to develop a gateway system in order to connect the sensor nodes and data centers utilizing LoRa communication modules and MQTT protocol. The result of successful rate gateway kinerjance using distance, data size, and different intervals as variables indicates that in range of 400 meters the gateway kinerjance in receiving and forwarding data to data centers is better than the range of 200 meters.

Abstract

The length of time for storing chicken meat is the important factor that is related to the freshness and quality of chicken meat whether or not the meat is suitable for consumption. It is very important in determining the feasibility of chicken meat for consumption. In this research, it is designed a system that can be used fastly, accurately, and non-destructive. This system is implemented into an Arduino microcontroller by using gas sensors and color sensors as a measurement tool for determining chicken meat based on length of time storage. The process of inputting data is gained by data acquisition with two sensors, there are MQ135 gas sensor and TCS3200 color sensor which is able to read parameters in the form of ammonia levels and RGB colors. For the classification process, supervised learning algorithms are used from artificial neural networks that are able to recognize and group data based on predetermined targets at the beginning. There are 3 types of chicken meat based on the length of time storage. First, meat of chicken that are only slaughtered up to 12 hours long storage time. Second, it is stored longer than 12 hours up to 24 hours.The last, it has been stored for more than 24 hours. This research gave accuracy system of 86.7% in deciding time of period chicken meat time storage, by average computational time needed for 3.2 seconds.

Abstract

Fever is an early symptom of various diseases that have been experienced by almost everyone. Some of the diseases include typhoid fever, malarial fever and dengue fever. These three diseases have similar early symptoms. Similar symptoms of each disease often cause difficulty in obtaining anamnese (temporary diagnosis) so that patients get the initial handling is less precise and further worsen the condition of the patient. To overcome this required a system that can facilitate in identifying the disease based on the symptoms felt by the patient. In this study using Learning Vector Quantization method which is a method of classification. The system works with the training and testing phases that will result in classes of typhoid fever classes, malarial fever and dengue fever. The parameters used are 15 parameters of symptoms of febrile illness. The best average accuracy result is 100% using comparison of test data and training data of 10:90, learning rate 0,1, learning rate reduction constant 0,1, minimum learning rate 10-5, and maximum number of iteration 10.

Abstract

Questions management is important process to be carried out in teaching and learning process, questions management is carried out by teacher, and with good questions management the teacher will be able to maintain the quality of the questions. At the Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya University, questions management is carried out by lecturer team or commonly reffered to as team teaching. At present, the implementation of questions management that has been running has several problems, the first problem is the difficulty of gathering lecturers in one place at a same time. The second problem is the delay from the lecturer to collect the question that have been assigned. The third problem is the difference in the format of collected questions between one lecturer and another lecturer, that making it difficult for the team leader to combile the collected questions. Based on that problems, research was conducted which was intended to build a system that was able to facilitate the assignment distribution between lecturers, provide reminder to the lecturer about the assignment dependents, and facilitate the process of compiling and evaluating questions. This system is expected to be able to overcome existing problems and help improve the work efficiency of lecturers. This system has passed unit testing using whitebox testing, integration testing and validation testing using blackbox testing which results in a 100% valid value, and compatibility testing where the results of the system can run on eight different browsers.
