Abstract

Honey is a natural substance of the bees that carry a result plant secretions become flower's nectar. Bees are conserved with special care, will produce honey in a good quality. The benefits of honey are for health, beauty and food. We need a lot of time and cost to get honey in a good quality. Moreover, there are many honey's producer have mixed another ingredients like glucose, fluctose in pure honey to get a lot of profit income. The forgery of natural honey often did by seller. Therefore, technology needed to help society for testing authenticity of honey directly and quickly. To minimize these problems, this research has been designed a tool that can check the degree of authenticity of honey bees. In this research using some components that is Bayes methods or commonly called Bayessian Classification. Bayes method is one of method that can be used for processing inconsistent data and bias character. The function of color sensor TCS3200 is for checking the color of honey has been detected. Photodiode is an electronic device of semiconductor material that can be convert the light intensity in electric current, and pH sensors is a sensor that can measure the level of acidity accurately . Based on the results of testing accuracy, the level accuracy of clarification bayes method for honey's authenticity are 88,89%. While, the estimatin speed of time for processing system bayes methode to authenticity of honey has a speed average of 96,388ms.

Abstract

Goods are important objects to meet people's needs and sometimes the procurement of goods can be done by transferring goods. Transfer of goods can use shipping via air transportation. However, the weight of the cargo indirectly can affect the speed of delivery. So that it demands the airport to always improve the provision of adequate facilities to meet the needs of cargo weight. To be able to meet these demands a mature prediction is needed. The prediction of cargo weight aims to determine cargo weight data in the future by using cargo weight data in the past. The prediction method used in this study uses the Exponential Smoothing method. Exponential Smoothing is a method that continually perfects predictive results by smoothing past values ​​of a data sequence by decreasing time. In this study comparing 3 Exponential Smoothing methods including Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, and Triple Exponential Smoothing, where the method is used to generate predictive values ​​and then evaluate the results of predictions using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The smallest MAPE is found in the Triple Exponential Smoothing method spanning 5 years with parameter values ​​α = 0.9, β = 0.1, and γ = 0.1 of 13.563. Based on the MAPE values ​​that have been obtained between 10 and 20, the Triple Exponential Smoothing method is included in the good criteria.

Abstract

One of the strategies applied by the Sukun Malang Village in filing citizen letters is by submitting citizen letters online. Submission of citizen letters online is very necessary because there are many residents who submit letters to the kelurahan. Sukun Urban Village has several submissions of citizen letters implemented on the system. However, the system still cannot overcome the problems that exist and is only done in the Sukun Malang Village, but not for RT and RW. The problem is a long process when residents submit a citizen letter with the number of residents who make submissions and submissions that are currently being carried out are still using a lot of paper. So that a system is needed to overcome these problems, namely submitting citizen letters online. This system is used to submit citizen letters, see details of letters submitted by residents, verify submission letters submitted by residents and print a letter of submission. The results of the analysis in this study obtained 58 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement from 5 actors who had roles in the system. In this study functional testing was carried out using white box and black box methods by conducting unit testing, integration and validation. The results of unit testing produce 100% valid values for 3 functional requirements tested, then the results of integration testing produce 100% valid values for 3 functional requirements tested and for validation test results produce 100% valid values for all functional requirements which means the system already in accordance with the needs analysis. In non-functional testing using compatibility testing, the system is expected to be used in different development environments or in browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Exlporer, Microsoft Edge and Opera.

Abstract

EzyPOS is an application to simplify the work of owners of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in managing their businesses to be better and organized. The use of the EzyPOS application is the same as the cash register. There are several usability problems in the EzyPOS Application such as button size which doesn't suits the standart so that have an effect on user experience. Recommendations for User interface and User Experience improvement along with the results of evaluation and analysis of both are the objectives of this study An approach that is used is human-centered design (HCD) which is a system design and development approach to make interactive systems more useful by focusing on the use of systems and applying human factors / ergonomics and usability knowledge and techniques. The HCD stages are context specifications, User specifications, design, and design evaluation. Evaluation Method which is used is a Heuristic Evaluation (HE) which is a method for finding usability problems in the User interface by using 3-5 evaluators to examine and assess it in accordance with the applicable usability principles. Improvements are made based on saverity rating. The results of this study are the solution design with the HCD approach which has better usability than the EzyPOS application version 1.0.19. This is indicated by the decrease in number of problems found in the EzyPOS solution design, namely from 20 to 6 problems.

Abstract

PUBG MOBILE is a First-Person Shooter and Third-Person Shooter game that was just released on March 19, 2018. This game including to the category of new game on the mobile platform so that it has the potential to have new users. User Experience is very important for the success of a game on the market, especially on the type of application that has been released. The system that are not well designed and not easy to use will make it difficult for users to learn and operate them, so that they will rarely be used. In order to get a good user experience, an evaluation is a necessary. The Cognitive Walkthrough method is a user experience evaluation method when evaluator provide scenario-based assignment and several questions to game users to find problems that interfere with the learning process. This method is suitable for the system that was just released because it can explore the cognitive processes of users when they first use the system. Respondents used in this study were divided into two groups, namely 3 respondents who had never played PUBG MOBILE games and 3 people who often played PUBG MOBILE games and often played games with similar genres. The evaluation results in the PUBG MOBILE game show that many problems occur because the display is difficult to understand (text and icon) on the task when the user learns about weapons in the game. However, problems that arise are problems that won't affect the main functions of the game.

Abstract

Food classification is a classic problem that still becomes an interest for many researchers. Several studies have been conducted using only one type of food, which is fruit as the object of the classification. This research was conducted to improve the previous ones. This study uses five types of single food as its object. The method used is color feature extraction using YUV Color Moment, texture feature extraction using Haralick, and feature selection using Information Gain. The classification algorithm is K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). The highest accuracy obtained is 94.26% obtained from the combined features of the two selected feature extraction methods. From these results, it can be concluded that the application of a combination of feature extraction methods, namely color and texture, and feature selection method greatly influence the food image classification process.

Abstract

Website Wisata Sengkaling is owned by Taman Rekreasi Sengkaling UMM. Website that has some problems in writing on the website, content layout and inappropriate color selection. The focus of this research is how to improve the appreance of the interface design on Wisata Sengkaling. Usability evaluation in this study uses the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) with four categories, that is Content, Organisation and Readability, Navigation and Links, User Interface Design and Performance and Effectiveness. The repair method used is the Human Centered Design (HCD). The discussion in the study is specify the context of use, specify the user requirement, produce design solution and evaluate the design solution. The result of this study indicate that the design of solution made using the Human Centered Design method is better than the initial design. Evaluation in old design in the Content, Organisation and Readability category have value 0,57. In the Navigation and Links category have value 0,57. In the User Interface Design category have value 0,54. In the Performance and Effectiveness category have value 0,55. But, on new design solution in the Content, Organisation and Readability category have value 0,65. In the Navigation and Links category have value 0,64 In the User Interface Design category have value 0,66. In the Performance and Effectiveness category have value 0,66.

Abstract

VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Network) is a wireless network technology developed from MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) which is devoted for motorized vehicles. The main application of VANET technology is to realize better and safer traffic management. However, due to the high mobility of vehicles and varying road conditions, the most serious problem in VANET is the efficiency of the search process and maintaining network routes. AODV (Ad Hoc on Demand Distance Vector) is one solution to the VANET problem which is one of the reactive routing protocols. Variations of road models in Indonesia are divided into four groups based on the prevailing speed namely the freeway, inter-city roads, urban roads and residential roads. In each of these environments a simulation test was carried out with a difference in the number of vehicles. The simulation is carried out using Network Simulator v2.35 (NS-2.35) and SUMO as mobility generator. AODV performance is measured based on the parameters of average throughput, packet delivery ratio, and end-to-end delay in sequence. Test result on the freeway resulted in 111.48 KBps, 40.99 %, 0.14676 seconds. Test result on inter-city roads 156.20 KBps, 58.08 %, 0.08036 seconds. Test result on urban roads 210.07 KBps, 77.18 %, 0.05839 seconds. Whereas test result on residential roads 212.82 KBps, 77.27 %, 0.03362 seconds. These results show that the road model in Indonesia with the performance of the AODV routing protocol on the VANET network from the best to the worst in sequence is a residential road model, an urban road model, an inter-city road model, and freeway model.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika has main business processes in the Communication Field that consist of business processes for forming community information groups, fostering community information groups, gathering news, reporting and publishing news, and maintaining KIM web. In the daily implementation of the business process, there are several problems that interfere with the business process. There are 6 problems found in the implementation, which are several mistakes in spreading the invitation letter, misunderstandings among stakeholders, not conducting data mining, collecting invalid information, report manipulation due to the delay in collecting KIM reports and making solutions that were not in accordance with the target. Based on existing problems, it is necessary to evaluate business processes and make improvements to business processes. The first step is to conduct analysis and evaluation using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method so it can analyze the problem deeply and sort the problem based on the highest RPN value that will be used as an evaluation. In determining ranking, it is assisted by the role of stakeholders in it. Continued to stage of preparing recommendations for business process improvement using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method with the help of tools at BPI, named streamlining. From the simulation results of current business processes (as is) and recommendations (to be) on business processes reporting and publishing news, it was found that an increase in time analysis experienced an increase in time effectiveness of up to 54.34%. The conclusion from the result is the business process recommendations (to be) can produce a faster duration of problem-solving and produce recommendations that can be applied to minimize problems that occur based on the results of analysis and evaluation.

Abstract

Suwayuwo Village is located in Kecamatan Sukorejo, Kabupaten Pasuruan, East Java. The Suwayuwo Government opened a complaint handling to service complaints from residents of Suwayuwo Village on services from the village government. However, the lack of maximum complaints handling services has caused complaints from villagers not to be recorded properly. Based on these problems, information system is required through developing complaint handling information system. Information system development are carried out through business process modelling, requirements analysis, design and implementation of complaint handling information system by applying object-oriented approach. Furthermore, system testing are carried out to find out which system could run according the requirements that have been identified. Business process modelling activities generate As-Is and To-Be business process model. The requirement analyis generate functional requirement, non fuctional requirement, and visualisation of system capabilities use case diagram. The results of system design are object model documentation within class diagram, object interaction model within sequence diagram, database design, algorithm design and user interface design.The implementation result is a Web-based complaint handling Information system. The result of system testing shows that system could run according previous identified requirement.
