Abstract

Carelessness in driving can result in accidents that can harm yourself and others. To reduce losses caused by accidents, one can use insurance services. However, there are still many Indonesians who have not used insurance services due to high premiums. From these problems, a solution is needed to recommend someone to take insurance from the level of driving experience. One of the methods adopted from this research is to improve k-means with centroid initialization based on sum square error and k-nearest neighbor. The data used in this research are 600 data safe drivers, consisting of numeric data and categories. The recommendation process begins with clustering using k-means with the initialization of centroid sum square error which produces an average of 1000 iterations, which is 1660.64. From the SSE process, the optimum centroid was obtained and continued with the k-means process with k-prototype. The use of k-prototype is due to the data consisting of numeric and categorical data. After the clustering process, the distance between the tes data and the centroid is calculated to find the closest cluster. Furthermore, the classification process is carried out on the nearest cluster in order to make the classification process more efficient. The classification process uses KNN which aims to determine whether data is included in the recommendation category and not. From the tesing process the improve k-means method produces the highest average value of 72.83% accuracy, while the KNN method produces an average accuracy value of 47.5%. The results of these calculations use the value of k = 3 and k-fold on cross validation of 5.

Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Malang is an educational institution that upholds religious values by including worship activities as mandatory activities. Worship activities must be carried out every day by all students. The teacher always supervises every worship activity carried out by students by incorporating the value of student worship into the presence of worship. With the number of students and activities that must be recorded by the teacher, a problem arises, namely the teacher always has difficulty in managing the attendance recap of students' worship to become the final grade when the end of the semester arrives. Responding to these problems, researchers are trying to create a presence information system that is useful for solving problems that are currently happening. The information system that will be built is website-based by utilizing the Laravel Framework for its Back-End, while the implementation will be in the form of Mobile Apps and Desktop Apps by utilizing the Vue.js Framework.

Abstract

Game Fall Guys was released on August, 2020. It was from Steam application. On TV program Liputan 6, August 4th, 2020, this new game was reported reaching a large amount of profit. In 24 hours, more than 1,5 million players played this game. This game got a positive respond from more than 20.000 players in Steam application. In addition, more than 100.000 players played the game because of some reasons such as funny characters and also attractive costumes they wear in the game. Although the first month game was released really hype and we could see many players played on Steam from August until now, the positive reviews from month to month were decreasing. Not only the positive reviews but also negative responses from players who were using cheat or challenges. To respond this, it is necessary to evaluate the gameplay using the Heuristic method then need 3 to 4 evaluators from the closest person to researcher which aim to see the advantages and disadvantages in terms of gameplay contained in the Fall Guys game.

Abstract

Traffic accident factors are caused by 3 factors such as human negligence, the state of the vehicle and also environmental factors. According to WHO (World Health Organization) the use of helmets for motorcycle riders can reduce the risk of death by up to 40%. The use of helmets as safety for motorcycle riders is still considered not so important that it is ignored, therefore motorcycle accidents, especially motorcyclists who do not use helmets and the level of traffic violations are high. The fatigue factor for the police in monitoring traffic causes ignoring motorists who violate by not wearing a helmet while driving. Therefore helmet detection for motorcycle riders is very important, namely using technology to obtain information on motorcycle riders who violate the rules. Based on these factors, after knowing the causes of motorcycle accidents in traffic, one solution can be reduced, namely using computer vision for helmet detection as motorcycle riders' safety in driving and facilitating the work of police officers in guarding traffic by way of notification. notification of traffic violations of motorists who are not wearing helmets with buzzer alerts. The author proposes the CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) method as a detection of motorcyclists who violate traffic such as not wearing a helmet, thereby reducing traffic accidents. The results of the tests that have been carried out by the system can detect objects of people not wearing helmets with an accuracy of 90% using the confusion matrix on the test results.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is an activity that cannot be separated from lecture activities and is a must for every student who attends a minimum of Bachelor's Degree (S.I) in higher education institutions. An important factor that can influence the success of KKN is the selection of villages for KKN. The villages available for KKN are located in community complexes with different development sectors, problems and environments. To help alleviate this problem, there is a platform that can help determine the location of KKN that is relevant to students. The StudyDesa application is based on Android and uses geotagging technology and camera sensors to help mapping KKN villages. This study uses the waterfall method, the method was chosen because the functional requirements that exist in the system have been defined clearly from the start and there are no changes. The tests of the StudyDesa application are functional, compatibility and usability testing. Functional testing is performed on all functionality and produces a value of 100%. Compatibility testing can run on all tested devices, namely the 3 most Android versions used by the Indonesian people in 2021. Usability testing produces a success rate of 94.28% while the System Usability Scale (SUS) produces an average value of 85.5 or if viewed on the conversion scale it is located in category B which means it is acceptable for students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the comparison of learning interests and student learning outcomes through the application of the REACT strategy and the Scientific Approach for Object Oriented Programming (PBO) subjects. This type of research is quasi-experimental, while the research design applied is non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were students of class XI of SMK Negeri 9 Medan, while the determination of the sample was through simple random sampling technique. Data analysis used unpaired sample t-test. Collecting data using a questionnaire and questions pre-test & post-test. The questionnaire functions to measure learning interest, while the pre-test & post-test questions function to measure learning outcomes. The research was conducted by carrying out learning activities for two meetings with the control class and the experimental class. The control class uses the Scientific Approach, while the experimental class uses the REACT strategy. The results of the study indicate that the overall research instrument data has a 2-tailed significance probability value greater than 0.05 so that it is stated that there is no significant difference in learning interest and student learning outcomes. The conclusion that can be drawn is that there is no significant difference in learning interest and learning outcomes in the implementation of the REACT strategy and the Scientific Approach for Object Oriented Programming subjects at SMK Negeri 9 Medan.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are independent economic activities both individuals and business entities. MSMEs have an effect on social to economic. One of them is MSMEs in the industrial sector. Behind the activities of MSMEs there are problems obtained from interviews and observations. From the problems obtained, it was started to conduct research in order to help reduce the problems faced by MSMEs in the industrial sector. This research uses Human Centred Design (HCD) method where in the excavation of problems, identification of needs, to issue solution output in the form of prototypes that answer existing problems. The tests conducted in this study are prototype testing using SEQ questionnaires. After testing, the prototype can be categorized as easy to use with details of the average value of consumer category 6.83, MSMEs category 6.50 and student category 6.16. so that from the total total average value obtained a value of 6.49 which indicates an easy-to-use interface.

Abstract

Surya Daily, one of the leading newspapers in Surabaya and part of Tribbunnews, always strives to maintain user satisfaction in obtaining accurate, reliable and equitable information in the aspect of its distribution of various types of published news. Newspaper development continues to increase in line with the rapid development of technology, causing competitive conditions in the information and journalism fields. Analysis of user behavior through Cyber ​​Profiling is one way to find out the patterns and trends that are being of interest based on the application of Log Analysis. The application of this analysis requires a classification of data and information, which in this study applies K Means Clustering as a method of classifying log data from the Surya Surabaya Daily website. This study resulted in grouping users into 2 and 3 clusters through silhouette coefficients with validation values ​​of 0.48896 and 0.53899, then analysis information related to the most accessed Health category (29.5%) and the number of page views (53.2%) of all categories available on the website. Surya Daily. The results of the identification of cluster groups with low-high-moderate characteristics which refer to the level of distribution of categories and the number of activities in each category, and visualized in the form of a dashboard which is tested through SUS which produces a value of 97.5 and represents Grade "A" and "Excellent" based on adjective rating, and best imaginable for stakeholders.

Abstract

COVID-19 is short for Corona Virus Disease 2019, the designation was coined by the WHO (World Health Organization). COVID-19 is a newly discovered virus that attacks the human immune system, so humans exposed to the virus can experience chronic illness and even death. The ferocity of this virus and its very rapid spread have caused a global pandemic that has not ended until now, including in Indonesia. Several measures have been taken to ward off the virus, including the discovery of a vaccine. However, it will still take a long time to completely stop the spread of the virus. The symptoms experienced by people with COVID-19 vary, ranging from severe to those without experiencing any symptoms. Patients with severe symptoms require intensive care in the hospital, while those with mild or no symptoms can self-isolate at home. The development of a Website-Based COVID-19 Self-Isolation Patient Monitoring Information System (Case Study: Jeru Turen Village Health Center) aims to facilitate monitoring of COVID-19 self-isolation patients to be more effective. This system was developed using the Waterfall method, and uses PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and JavaScript technologies and uses the Laravel framework. This system has been tested using White Box Texting for unit and integration testing, and Black Box Testing for validation testing which produces 100% Passed results.

Abstract

Toko Arofah is a store in Surabaya that sells a variety of typical Arabian snacks and native Arabian herbal medicines. Currently, the sales are only carried out through the store directly and the promotion process is carried out via WhatsApp. That way is indeed less effective especially in the current pandemic season where everyone has to carry out social distancing. This has an impact on decreasing revenue at Arofah Shop and for customers also experiencing difficulties in getting herbal medicine or Arabian snacks. To facilitate this, an e-commerce website was built using the prototype method complete with features of product management, admin, and transaction management systems. In addition, integration with Midtrans, a payment gateway transaction payment service provider, is also carried out. This website is tested using black-box testing and usability testing. From the test results, it is found that the website can be easily learned and used by admins and users.
