Abstract

Application to lectures is a major aspect that is undertaken while studying. Currently, there are still many lectures that do not provide clear details on what applications are used and where to download them in these courses, especially at FILKOM Universitas Brawijaya. Approximately 90% of students still get information regarding applications used through friends and lecturers manually as well as time goes by. Based on that, the author plans to design a mobile-based application that will carry out an internal software data collection system for FILKOM courses using the Design thinking method. This Design Thinking method was carried out so that research focuses on user experience so that it is suitable for understanding the needs of FILKOM students. For validation, usability testing on 20 respondents obtained an effectiveness aspect value of 91.75%, then for the results of the efficiency aspect of 0.076 goals/second, and the results of the satisfaction aspect of 81,875 which entered grade b, excellent rating, and acceptable category. For testing the UEQ questionnaire with attractiveness results of 1.70 in the good category, results from the perspicuity aspect of 1.41 in the above average category, results from the efficiency aspect of 1.80 in the good category, results from the dependability aspect of 1.69 in the category good, the results from the stimulation aspect are 1.55 in the good category, and the results from the novelty aspect are 0.95 in the above average category. Researchers also collect criticism and suggestions to improve the results of the solution design for the better.

Abstract

SD Aisyiyah Kota Malang is one of the private elementary schools under the auspices of the Aisyiyah organization that guides students in the academic process from grade one to grade six. Problems that often occur include lost academic information and in the redesign of lost academic information data needs to take from a little to several days. In addition to academic problems, there is also conventional learning so that the academic process is only effective if carried out in the school environment. This research aims to solve academic and administrative problems that are a requirement for students to get academic services, where the solution of this research is a web-based application that uses the Javascript programming language. This research uses the prototyping method to find out whether there are needs that are not in accordance with the wishes of users in the academic scope of SD Aisyiyah Kota Malang. Testing obtained the results of Basic Path Testing Unit in accordance with the design, valid functional testing and System Usability Scale testing which resulted in a score of 7.25 on the admin side and 9.25 on the teacher side. From the results of this test it is concluded that the application is quite helpful and easy and is quite well received by users.

Abstract

UD Berkah Menuju Sukses is one of the MSMEs located in Jombang City, East Java. UD Berkah Menuju Sukses is engaged in the business process of selling electronic goods such as air conditioners, refrigerators, fans, and their respective spare - parts. In sales activities, ud Berkah Menuju Sukses only sells products directly through the store and is still said to be very simple, because customers who want to buy electronic goods still need the help of store employees to find out the details or specifications of electronic goods sold. The limitation of store employees in providing item details is an important problem because the goods sold, especially electronic spare parts, there are always updates from the supplier so that store employees must understand the details of the goods. To make it easier to sell electronic goods, a website-based electronic goods sales information system was developed using frawework laravel as the main builder so that later it can make it easier for customers to see and get detailed information on products sold because they do not have to come to the store to get the goods they want to buy. To build a website required planning needs to know the functional and non-functional needs of the system that is using UML diagrams and database design using Physical Data Model (PDM). The development of this system is done by using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model, with PHP programming language, MySQL DBMS, and utilizing Bootstrap. Website testing is done by using blackbox testing with 100% valid results. Compatibility testing with the results there are no problems in the system with evidence of no Critical Issues, Major Issues, and Minor Issues. Usability testing was conducted on 7 respondents and obtained an average score of 82 with the conclusion of” ACCEPTABLE "in the Acceptability Range assessment, getting a B on the" GRADE SCALE” and "EXCELLENT" on the Adjectvie Ratings aspect.

Abstract

CV Omega Art is a private company engaged in the sale, manufacture and installation of interior and exterior goods. In the company's development amid the rapid development of information technology, companies began to feel the need to develop access to company products and information that can be reached easily and more widely by customers. Through interviews with Business Owners, it was found that companies need an information system that can be used by customers to order products and display product information owned by the company. The company feels the need to display the official website as a form of company professionalism. Based on these needs, an interior and exterior goods ordering management system was developed that can help companies display the company's website, display the company's products, process product orders and attract customers to view and order products. The prototyping model is used to collect certain information about the information needs of users quickly. Users can use prototypes to screen and evaluate requirements. The application design is made with an object-oriented approach using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern. System implementation is done using the Laravel framework. Then, the developed system was tested using the Basis Path Testing method, validation testing, and Compatibility Testing. The results showed that the web-based interior and exterior goods ordering management system could accommodate the company's needs. The prototyping method is quite suitable to cover all requirements.

Abstract

In classification, one of the problems that is often encountered is the imbalance class. Unbalanced data occurs when the amount of the data from one class has more or less than the other classes. Classes with unbalanced data will cause the classification results to be skewed towards classes that have more data. Some classifiers are unable to produce maximum accuracy when used on unbalanced data. To overcome the problem of imbalance class, the Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique (SMOTE) method can be used. This method will generate new synthetic data which will be used as training data for the classification process. The method used for classification in this study is the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method. The accuracy value that obtained whe n the data is classified using the KNN method without using SMOTE is 60%. Meanwhile, when the unbalanced data is handled first using SMOTE method and then classified using the KNN method, the accuracy value obtained is 85%. From the test result, the best parameter values were k=1 and N=100.

Abstract

CV. Arsa Jaya Mandiri is a freight forwarding company for cars, motorcycles, trucks and heavy equipment. The process of managing data on the CV. Arsa Jaya Mandiri is carried out conventionally, such as income and expenses, which are carried out in a transaction book. Recording done in this way tends to be bad in terms of data security, and according to the company, there have been several errors in the calculation process during the recapitulation in preparing income and expenditure reports. Access to information about the company is still limited to outsiders, such as information about shipping costs and the company in general. Based on the issues raised, an information system was created to address data management issues and facilitate access to delivery information by the company's external parties. The waterfall method and the Laravel framework are used in the development of information systems. After system implementation, validation testing is carried out with black-box testing with a valid value of 100%, which states that the specified requirement specifications are appropriate. Usability testing as measured by the System Usability Scale (SUS) shows a final score of 78 for the developed system. This states that the information system is in the acceptable category with a grade of C, which has good adjective ratings.

Abstract

Management information system printing is a technology that must be owned in a company which involves the process of data management. The research was conducted at Gajayana Digital Printing Malang City which is engaged in printing services. Where the processes that occur in it have not fully used the management process, one example is the management of order data is still done manually because the storage of transaction data is only on the order note, including to calculate the total sales calculated based on the order note. To help the printing business, an application system is needed that has the main feature for storing data on ordering and purchasing printing products to make it easier to calculate the total sales and purchases. The information system application developed is web-based so that it can be accessed with various devices via a web browser. System development is carried out using the Waterfall method because the initial system requirements have been defined which are obtained through interviews with owner business. The system has 3 actors and a total of 37 functional requirements. The development is done using MERN Stack technology. The tests carried out apply unit testing using the white box method, and system validation testing using the black box method. Unit testing and validation get 100% valid results from the tested functionality. And based on the results of the system testing carried out, it can be concluded that the web-based printing management information system developed is in accordance with the functionality of the system.

Abstract

Digital identity is something that is really needed in carrying out activities on the internet, especially in social networking. Everyone who has a social network on the internet is required to provide a digital identity such as name, date of birth, telephone number and personal photo. In the current era, digital identities are often reported to be leaked, stolen, and misused by irresponsible parties. This is a problem that causes privacy concerns for social network users to share their digital identity which is personal data. In addition, privacy concerns also affect social network users in protecting their digital identity privacy. The aim of this study is to find out how social network users protect their digital identity using the Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) theory by identifying two PMT factors, namely Self-Efficacy and Perceived Severity factors to examine privacy concerns that arise on social networks. This study also aims to find out whether gender factors have differences in willingness to share digital identities on social networks. This study used the SEM-CB method by distributing questionnaires to 309 respondents. The results found that there is a positive influence on privacy concerns in the willingness to share digital identities. Another finding found that Self-Efficacy and Perceived Severity had a positive effect on privacy concerns, but not the gender factor with negative results indicating that there was no difference between genders in the willingness to share digital identity on social networks.

Abstract

Network Traffic Analysis is a process of gaining knowledge and conclusions related to information from observable data flow characteristics. These characteristics include the identity, location of the source and destination of the stream, the existence of the stream, the number, frequency, and duration of that stream of information. Continuous network monitoring and analysis helps in keeping the network at its performance with little downtime. One method that can be used to analyze network traffic is to utilize the Arkime platform. In this final project, Arkime will be applied to monitor network traffic by collecting traffic data and providing visualization of the data which will then be analyzed from the traffic data. The main components that make up this system are a managed switch and capture-node in which the Arkime platform configuration and elastic stack components are Elasticsearch, and Metricbeat. Arkime itself consists of two elements, arkime-capture as a package catcher and arkime-viewer for data analysis and visualization. In the data retrieval process, the data used is direct data from network traffic in the researcher's environment that is captured using the arkime-capture component. The built system will also be tested for resource usage performance at the time of data collection and using specific network loads.

Abstract

The pandemic has had a major impact on human mental health, which has had an impact on the instability of emotions. Unstable emotions can cause stress, characterized by feelings of sadness, gloom, and unhappiness. Prolonged feelings of sadness can be a sign of depression. Therefore, tools are needed that able to provide information about the intensity of sadness felt in order to reduce prolonged sadness. Some studies have successfully created tools to detect emotions with voice signal. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to make a system that is able to detect the intensity of sad emotions through human's voice. The research was conducted using BFCC feature extraction, which has a better accuracy than the MFCC method if the sample data has a lot of noise. The system will work with the help of a microphone as a device to record. In the first process, the system will record using a microphone, the recorded results will be processed to extract the features and classify them. After the prediction results are obtained, the results will be displayed on the LCD display. This research uses the Crowd Sourced Emotional Actors Dataset (CREMA-D) consisting of several emotions with high, low, and mid levels, but in this research only focuses on the use of sad emotions. The results of the study obtained an accuracy of 60% with an average signal-to-ratio (SNR) of 23.9 dB, and has an average difference of 11.76 dB better than the MFCC method.
