Abstract

Someone with a disability and cannot move their body parts is having a harder time when operating a computer system. This is becoming a problem because the computer itself has become one of the technologies used to find information in this information technology era. Someone with a heavy case of disability can operate computers using an eye tracker system. In this research, corner triangle similarity and eye aspect ratio method are used to extract features from facial image data so the eye gaze direction can be classified using random forest classifier. The research is conducted using facial data images with 270 images divided into nine classes. According to the testing that has been done, the accuracy of the scenario where the image is used, the facial image without turning the head has better accuracy than the image where the head is turned. The accuracy that has been obtained is 88% on the train data and 50% on the test data. While doing analysis of the test result, it was revealed that the feature extraction method can be implemented but didn't give the best result like didn't detect the pupil at the eyes or wrongly detected circle in the image with the center of the circle located on the sclera of the eyes or the skin around the eyes. Besides that, with the existence of the turned head image in the dataset without the turning direction feature in the dataset made the similar and almost the same data but have different class. These things impacted on the classification result that in the end didn't produce a really accurate result.

Abstract

Boarding schools in general can be defined as an Islamic educational institution which implements the system stay or dorm, with kyai as a major center and make the mosque as a center of the institute of science. One of the boarding schools that still stand up today is the Pondok pesantren al-falah, which is among one of the boarding school which is located in the City of Malang, there are on the raya street no. 250, krebet, bululawang. This boarding school was founded by some of the ustad who want to dedicate herself to religion. Based on the results of the interview to the owner of the Pesantren Al Falah, the perceived impact of the pandemic this is great for boarding school, all the activities of pondok pesantren be limited to, the dissemination of information related to the registration and information for the parents who usually done offline to be hard. Testing the usability of the system that has made Information Systems Pesantren Al Falah using the method of the calculation of the System Usability Scale (SUS) is to 88.5 who enter into the category of Good. Then, it can be concluded that the results of the usability testing of information systems pondok pesantren al-falah made it easy to use user and has the value of usability good.

Abstract

Field Work Practice is a subject that must be taken by every student of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya. The purpose of street vendors is to train students' ability to recognize real problems in the community and provide solutions based on the knowledge obtained while on campus. Students who want to do street vendors often have difficulty determining the location where to carry out street vendors. Students usually get references from the previous generation and also look for their own street vendors. This becomes an obstacle in terms of time and distance, as well as information about the company. Therefore, it underlies this research to implement a system of supporting student street vendor placement decisions. The development of this system uses the waterfall model method. This system implements the web with the Codeigniter framework, because the web has several advantages, namely easier access to information and can run on different platforms. The main features of this system are adding information data, adding agency data, approving student placements, seeing the value of practice and monitoring student street vendors. System testing uses the White box method for testing and integration units as well as the Black box method for testing validation. Usability testing is done using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The results obtained are 100% valid in functional testing and non-functional testing in the form of usability testing, based on the interpretation of SUS scores, the system is categorized as appropriate to the needs of user.

Abstract

Dental and oral disease is one of the most common diseases in Indonesia. The results of the 2001 SKRT-Surkesnas morbidity study showed that dental disease was in the highest position out of the ten most common disease groups that people complained about. Doctor Prima Luthfia is a dentist who opens an independent dentist practice. A patient can have a consultation at Luthfia's doctor's practice by making an appointment with a doctor. Doctors cannot serve more than one because the practice is independent. Problems arise when Luthfia's doctor has two patients who have appointments at the same time due to Luthfia's scheduling error. From these problems, a solution is proposed which forms the basis of this research, where web-based development is carried out using the Telegram bot API integration. The method used is the waterfall, where in this method there are stages of literature study, needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing and evaluation. Using Node.js as a system development framework, Express.js as an API framework, and MongoDB as a database, the system development has been successfully carried out, and has been tested using the Blackbox method which results in 100% validation of system functions and Usability testing using the System Usability Scale with a score of 85.25 which reached the Acceptability Range criteria and obtained a B value in the Excellence category.

Abstract

SMA N 1 Giri is one of the senior high schools located on HOS Cokroaminoto 38, Giri, Banyuwangi, East Java with the status of a national standard school. SMA N 1 Giri has several activity organizations and every organization has activities or events that are carried out by submitting activity proposals to get approval from the school. From interviews with SMAN 1 Giri, there are problems that are often faced by both the school and students. The problem in school's side is that some of the parties concerned are difficult to find, because they have high mobility such as the principal, so it is difficult to see in detail the submitted report because of the absence of the relevant softfile, errors in writing or formatting the proposal, and incomplete files due to the absence a template that can be used as a reference for writing proposals and activity reports. As for students, if there are several parties who are not present, students have to wait longer so that if there is a revision or it is rejected, it will be quite a waste of time and paper because students have to resubmit the proposal in hardcopy. To overcome these problems, development is carried out using web technology with the aim of being easily accessible by users. With this system, the author hopes that it can help SMAN 1 Giri in submitting proposals and activity reports. This research uses an Object Oriented approach, namely the OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) and OOP (Object Oriented Programming) methods. This system has been tested by unit testing and integration testing using the white box testing method, and validation testing using the black box testing method.

Abstract

The increasing demand for drinking water is corresponding to the increasing amount of refill drinking water depot industry. However, the refill drinking water depot industry currently still manually records their water sales. Sales recording can be seen the parameter of the amount of water discharge. The amount of water discharge can be found by making a monitoring system. The monitoring system can be built with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. In the application of IoT, a communication protocol between entities is needed to exchange data. In this study, AMQP protocol was used. AMQP is a reliable messaging protocol with acknowledgment as a guaranteed messaging feature. The implementation of AMQP protocol is divided into three parts; producer, broker, and consumer. Producer acts as component that sends data. Consumer acts as component that receives data. Broker acts as communication intermediary between producer and consumer. In this study, producer is implemented using raspberry pi device. The implementation of the broker uses AMQP cloud service, while the consumer is implemented on client's laptop. From the results of the conducted performance test, the results obtained are with packet loss parameter of 0% and delay parameter of 63.06 ms, which are in the very good category of the test parameter. As well as the jitter parameter of 0.32 ms which is included in the good parameter category.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus is an incurable disease related to the metabolism of insulin This disease has the potential to lead one to complication such as cardiovascular diseases or kidney diseases without early precaution. There are two type of Diabetes Mellitus, with type two considered to have higher potential to lead to danger due to the often mild or even non-existent symptoms until one reaches chronic point. Currently, the golden standard to detect Diabetes Mellitus is done through HbA1C tests, which calculates the average blood sugar level among the lifecycle of a red blood cell. Beside HbA1C test, home sugar level test system are also used to monitor blood sugar level during the testing time. Both approach requires the subject to harm themselves in order to obtain the data, hence making this an invasive approach. This research is done in order to develop an alternative system capable of detecting type two Diabetes Mellitus with non-invasive approach, using Photoplethysmography sensor GY-MAX30100, Arduino Nano v3, and K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm. It is shown that using 10 data for testing, result shows an accuracy of 80% using K=9, Augmentation Index, and Ratio of Amplitude Systolic toward Pulse Interval features. It is also shown that system returns precision of 71%, sensitivity 100%, and F1 score of 83% for healthy class, while system returns precision of 100%, sensitivity 60%, and F1 score of 75% for type two Diabetes Mellitus class.

Abstract

Cultural heritage is an area where the preservation of people's lives and their lives are protected by law from the danger of extinction (Kemendikbud, 2016). Malang Raya is one of the oldest cities in East Java, Malang Raya has existed since the Kanjuruhan Kingdom, because of this, Malang Raya has many historical buildings, some of which are included in the category of cultural heritage. However, due to the emergence of the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020, this has resulted in the closure of public access to visit cultural heritages in Malang Raya. Based on these problems, in this study an Android-based application will be developed, which can display these cultural heritage environments in the form of Virtual Reality (VR). With this application, people who cannot visit the cultural heritage will be able to feel the same thing as visiting the place in person. There are two types of testing on this application, namely Black Box testing and usability testing. Black Box testing is used to ensure that the functionality of the application can run properly and correctly. While usability testing is used to find out the level of ease of use of this application later. In Black Box testing, it was found that all test cases were valid. Meanwhile, for usability testing, the System Usability Testing (SUS) average score was 82 points. It can be concluded that this application is easy to use by users.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic (Coronavirus Disease 2019) has changed most people's habits, people are encouraged to pay attention to health and obey health protocols, one way is by doing sports, but according to (Furkan, 2021) not all types of exercise can increase immunity, The right exercise will increase immunity, but on the other hand, exercise that does not pay attention to FITT (Frequency, Intensity, Type and Time) will actually weaken immunity. This prompted the author to develop physical exercise applications to maintain physical fitness during the pandemic. Application development is carried out using the SDLC waterfall with needs that have been defined at the beginning through interviews and literature studies. The stages of system development include requirements analysis which consists of an overview of the system, numbering rules, identification of actors, functional requirements and non-functional requirements. The design and implementation consists of designing activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, database design and implementation, program code, and interfaces. The results of the implementation were then tested using the black box method. The results of this black box test obtained a final value of 100% valid from all functionality. Other tests carried out are compatibility where test results are generated that the application can run on the Android platform version 5.1 and above and Usability testing produces a value of 70.5 with the Acceptable category.
