Abstract

With the rapid development of the gaming industry, the amount of content needed in the game continues to increase. Increasing the amount of content is needed to keep players interested, so design work is increasingly needed to meet these requirements. Procedural Content Generation is a solution to save time and money and has been successfully implemented in several Endless Runner Games. Here the author uses the Genetic Algorithm method to implement the Procedural Content Generation on 2D Endless Runner Game. The author's Geographical Algorithm chooses because the Algorithm can optimize which is suitable for many cases of an environment. In addition to optimization, the Genetic Algorithm is modular, so it is separate from the application and can be applied to other cases without significant changes in it. Making levels can be done by using a random technique. But the results of the randomly obtained level can have problems such as the inappropriate results desired because there are no criteria as a measure of appropriateness from the results that are made randomly as can be passed the level that has been made. Whereas in Genetic Algorithm there is a section that can select each individual and population to fit the specified criteria. The results of the tests show the time needed for the program to make a level very short, which is 0.02 seconds. From these results show that the algorithm can be applied and works well in the creation of levels. The resulting level can also be skipped by players based on the results of testing by a sample of players. But the difficulty of the level produced cannot be controlled using the Genetic Algorithm used.

Abstract

Aquaculture is the maintenance and preservation of fish or other aquatic organisms, one of them namely riparian fish grouper. Production of grouper in Indonesia itself is quite high and also continue to experience increased almost every year. But there are problems that writers get from farmers Group of Bhakti Usaha 2, that farmers often occurrence of error permberian feed meratanya not cause growth of grouper, as well as errors in the calculation of the period of harvest so that farmers are insufficient in terms of the results obtained, this is because all the process of cultivation is still done by manual so that the fault of the humans (human error) is still often the case. The solution given by the author is making the system operational riparian android-based grouper with features to provide scheduling at each activity will be carried out by the pond grouper farmers, from the time of preparation budidadaya to the process of harvesting, logging detail and also the recording of financial results. On the development of this system using the method of iterative model. Results from testing the system unit was found to be 100% valid values as well as been testing which also get value 100% valid. The resulting values of usability testing for a very satisfying on the three aspects of the test and an aspect worth satisfying.

Abstract

Usage of electricity is very wasteful. It can be easily controlled using system that's currently developed, a smart home. Smart home is a system to provide convenience for every inhabitant. In this study, Controlling of electronic devices at home from a distance is using a social media that is widely adopted by the public, Facebook messenger. Only by typing an instruction on the platform, users can control electronic devices anywhere. Lights and fan are examined electronic devices in this implementation. The function tested for lightings is turning off and turning on the tools. While the function tested for the fan is turning on slowly, changing the speed, and turning off the fan. To connect software applications that are easily operated with hardware such as lights and fans, this study uses Raspberry Pi. The commands received on the Facebook messenger chat will be sent to Heroku to process the language through wit.ai. It will be then sent to the database in firebase. The command is forwarded to the Raspberry Pi device which is connected to a relay that delivers electricity to the lights and fan devices. The system has been tested with various kind of testing. The results in translating the appropriate commands that can be processed are 100%, turn on and off the lights is 100%, and turn on, off and changing the speed of the fan is 100%.

Abstract

Dinas Pendidikan Kota Malang is a government agency responsible for the education sector in Malang City and has several fields. One of them is the division of Pembinaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (PTK). In carrying out its business processes there were several problems that cause the quality of services provided to clients was not good, due to repeated activities, activities that require a long time and input processes that ware not in accordance with the requirements. Therefore a business process evaluation was needed using the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method which was modeled using IDEF0 to model the functional process and IDEF3 to model the current sequence of business processes. The entire evaluation of business processes produced 6 quality factors that were not in accordance with the targets determined by stakeholders. This indicated a gap between targets and ongoing performance. The results of evaluating the quality factor mismatch will find the root of the problems using fishbone analysis. It can be concluded that the emergence of discrepancies was caused by repeated activities and input processes that were not in accordance with the provisions.

Abstract

Do data collection when entering working world is sould be done in every study program. The graduate that can get the corresponding job with areas of expertise wich are owned can help study program to get the relevan suggestion. Not only that, but every study program also be accused to have good accreditation. One of parameter accreditation rating is follow up the graduate tracking. but the big case is almous data is hard file, so need more procces to get the data. In fact the proccess to get the data is longer. To solve this problem is need one best sistem that can doing the data while classify the management data of graduate. Rational Unified Proccess (RUP) is development method sistem that chosen, because on this all changed controll proccess can do in every step. So make it easy to correct fastly n have a good dokumentation. RUP have some stage, such as inception, elaboration, construction and transition. Testing proccess sistem is doing with some method. such as blackbox testing, compatibility testing serta user acceptance testing. The result of test UAT get score 90% from all the graduate that traying this sistem. The system that has been worked on is able to answer the data collection problems experienced by FILKOM's students. so data collection becomes easier. the conclution is tracer information sistem is received well by sistem user.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the values of the interest in the use of OVO in Malang partially and using multiple linear regression analysis on five variables, namely functional values, emotional values, epistemic values, conditional values and social values. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires distributed online. The population in this study is the OVO users in Malang.The sampling technique in this research is non-probability sampling using purposive sampling techniques, while samples used were 97 respondents. Based on the analysis of the partial, variable functional values have a value of t count 2.578, conditional values have a value of t count 2.340 and social values have a value of t count 2.535 significantly affect the interest of the use of OVO in Malang, while emotional values have a value of t count 1.005 and epistemic values have a value of t count 0.988 not significantly affect the interest of the use of OVO in Malang. Of the five variables can be known that which has significant influence on the interest in the use of OVO in Malang is a functional variable values. Where the use of OVO in Malang significantly affect the interest of the use of OVO in Malang for OVO services can be used to do anything and OVO has a unique service that is not owned by similar products.

Abstract

Smart Library Automation (SLA) is an information system which is used by the Public Library of Department Library and Archives of Batu City. Information system SLA is used to increase the quality of services to the visitors and facilitate librarians in processing databooks. As an institution which organizes public services by using information technology, libraries must have reliable technology in providing maximum service. In achieving maximum service, an evaluation of Smart Library Automation (SLA) is needed to find out the system's problems in providing services toward the visitors. This study uses a framework Human, Organization, and Technology (Hot-Fit) Model. The main method of collecting data in this study uses qualitative interview methods which are supported by quantitative methods namely questionnaires. It is used to strengthen the results of interviews. The result of this research shows that the quality of the system is good, which is fully supported by the organization in its implementation and this system needs to development in order to fulfill organization's needs in the future in giving excellent library services.

Abstract

Bitcoin is one of cryptocurrency which is popular among people due to decentralized management, well-maintained confidentiality, and easy process. But, this type of cryptocurrency is extremely volatile which makes the owner feel aggrieved. Lots of actions have been taken to overcome this by seeing the statistic movement over and over, Taking actions without considering the future prospect, or make the the asset being untouched until the considered time. Those are inneficient regarding the goal is to get the profit.Therefore, the need of system which can predict the value of Bitcoin accurately and efficiently so it can help decreasing the risk of losing and could give another consideration on trading cryptocurrency Bitcoin. This research has a purpose to obtain the value of cryptocurrency Bitcoin using Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) algorithm. Based on the implementation and analysis conducted using Bitcoin Data from May 1th, 2018 until August 1th, 2018, it can be obtained that the smallest error value using Mean Average Percentage Error (MAPE) is 2,657% with the number of features is 2, the number of hudden neuron is 4, and the percentage of training data is 90%, also the range of with range [-1.8, 1.8].

Abstract

In rental services, activity that usually do by rental provider are item ordering, item taking, item returning, item checking, and bookkeeping. Nowadays, many rental providers have difficulties for running their business activity, such as item scheduling, order recording, differences between item inventory and routine bookkeeping that causes losses and problems with customers. Moreover, the rental providers have limited infrastructure, by keep using rental note, whiteboard, and Microsoft Excel software for bookkeeping. Therefore, the rental providers need an rental management application which is independent in order to not depend on infrastructure or need more infrastructure, so that the service providers can only use smartphone without adding other infrastructure to manage rental services. This application designed using OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) method and REST web service. Designing this application include service design, architecture design, component design, data design, user interface design, and application design architecture. This design of application has been tested using Traceability Matrix, (Coupling Between Object Classes) CBO, (Response for a Class) RFC, (Lack of cohesion in methods1) LCOM1 metrics, and (Lack of cohesion in methods2) LCOM2 metrics. The result of this application design has low coupling because of the CBO's average value<=5 and RFC's average value<=100 so it have high understandability and low cohesion because of LCOM>1. The result of this application design also has high adaptability because of the CBO's average value is between 1 and 3, RFC's average value between 1 and 69, and fulfill LCOM2's value between 0 and 1. Furthermore, all artifacts are made based on the use case that was made before, because each column and row in the traceability matrix have a value of 1.

Abstract

XYZ is an e-commerce that runs on various platforms, one of which is a website. XYZ provides a variety of features that support users to carry out the activities of buying and selling goods through the website. As time went on, XYZ became one of the most popular e-commerce sites. For this reason, we need to know the evaluation results of usability aspects and problems that exist on the XYZ website in order to maintain and improve the achievement of e-commerce XYZ. Usability aspects that are evaluated are learnability, effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. The method used in this study is cognitive walkthrough, usability testing and system usability scale (SUS). Evaluation using the cognitive walkthrough method and usability testing is carried out by five XYZ users who have never used e-commerce XYZ websites to find out existing problems and learnability aspects, effectiveness and efficiency. As for the usability scale (SUS) system, respondents numbered 20 people who had used e-commerce XYZ websites to find out aspects of satisfaction. After the evaluation was carried out, through the cognitive walkthrough method found 58 usability problems with 21 different problems. Then from usability testing obtained the learnability aspect value of 86%, effectiveness of 24% and efficiency of 0.02 seconds. While aspects of satisfaction using SUS obtained a value of 57,625. Recommendations for improving usability of e-commerce XYZ websites consist of two types of recommendations, namely, user interface design improvements and system improvements.
