Abstract

Reading the Qur'an is an obligation for every Muslim. Before being able to read the Qur'an with correct pronunciation and pronunciation, it is necessary to practice reading letters or hijaiah sentences. One method of learning the Qur'an is using the Iqra method discovered by KH. As'ad Humam. In general, learning activities using the Iqra method require a supervising teacher (ustaz or ustazah) as a student to evaluate the accuracy of the pronunciation of the hijaiah letters. Because the learning process is done face-to-face in the room. So that problems arise, namely the limitations of time, place, and experience. Previous research has tried to overcome this problem, namely by making an Android-based Iqra Scoring Application that can compare the recorded voice of students with the voice of the cleric. However, the results of the overall score similarity correlation between the application assessment and the ustaz's assessment on Iqra 1 is 0.034 in the weak category. To overcome this problem, in this study, we will add the calculation of the timbre score using the Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) Algorithm and change the score weighting values ​​of each parameter of pitch, volume, rhythm, and timbre to 0.55, 0.05, 0.38, and 0.02. So that the results of the overall score similarity correlation on Iqra 1 is 0.376 in the medium category.

Abstract

Reusability is the likelihood of segments of source code in software that can be reused to add new functionality with slight or no modification. A research conducted by Mr. Pavan Devade and Prof. Pritesh Jain in 2016 describes a method to perform reusability calculations in object-oriented programming concepts. The research explains that the class which is the main component in object-oriented programming, can be calculated for its reusability value by utilizing the object-oriented software metric, namely the CK metric. The research uses the C# programming language. Unfortunately, object-oriented programming languages ​​are not only limited to C#, Java is one of them. This study aims to develop a system that applies the reusability calculation method described by Mr. Pavan Devade and Prof. Pritesh Jain using Java programming language. This research was conducted with software engineering phase consisting of requirements analysis, system design, system implementation, and system testing. Requirements analysis produces 4 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. The system design produces class diagram and 4 sequence diagrams. System implemented using Javaparser and JavaFX libraries. System is tested in three stages, namely unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing. The tests gives valid results for each stage of the test.

Abstract

One of the principal food suppliers in some countries is rice, not limited to Indonesia. The need for rice is predicted to continue to increase annually as rice consumers increase. Rice treatment should be used properly. But not all refined rice will be consumed. It's because of the ill-fitting measures which tend to become food waste. In order to alleviate the problem, it required a tool that calculated the precise ratio of rice and water and could predict the quality of rice maturity. On the study, the weight of rice and the volume of water became the key sharer in the classification of rice maturity levels. Thus, loadcell sensors and hx711 modules will be required as weight stabilizers and linear regression as a as a calculation method for making predictions. There are 30 training data and 15 testing data in the testing process. The result was 90% accuracy in weighing rice and water volume with an average computing time was 20,46 seconds.

Abstract

Understanding the concept during learning activities is very important, because it will affect the acceptance of the next material and learning outcomes that have an impact on skills. Student learning outcomes that are less than optimal also occur in class X students at SMKN 2 Singosari Malang in Computer and Basic Network subjects. The cause of the less than optimal learning outcomes is because students are burdened with subjects with conceptual material. To maximize the understanding of the material, an appropriate learning model is needed to improve the understanding of concepts in students. This study aims to determine the comparison of student learning outcomes before and after using the Meaningful Instructional Design Learning Model and the Discovery Learning Model and to determine whether there is an increase in grades after using the two learning models. This research is a quantitative research with the type of experimental method with a sample of 50 students. The data obtained and has been processed can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students in the Computer and Basic Network subjects, namely those obtained from the Lavene's Test value are not significant, because p = 0.632 > 0.05 which means the variance in both groups is the same. Next, look at the value of Sig.(2-tailed) in the first line, which is 0.856 > 0.05, which means that there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between classes with the Meaningful Instructional Design Learning Model and the Discovery Learning Model.

Abstract

During pandemic period student requires to receive online education because of government regulations to limit activities outside home. Online learning support media such as laptops, mobile phones and computers need to be owned to run online education. These problems have resulted in the need for online learning support devices that continues to grow, including the sale of laptops. Laptops have various specifications, differences in specifications in laptops will affect the function of their use. During the pandemic, students on average use laptops for office application and attending online classes which require low specifications. In addition, laptops are also used by them for graphic design or for gamers, which requires high specifications to meet their needs. To buy a laptop according to user needs, user need an expert to get the optimal laptop recommendation according to user needs. Problems in choosing the optimal laptop according to needs can be solved with a Decision Support System (DSS), which is known as a branch of science in operations research that can be used as decision support in a mathematical model. In this research, the method of Analythical Hierarchy Process and Technique for Order Preference by Similiarity to Ideal Solution are the methods chosen for decision making. The results of the implementation of laptop selection recommendations with the AHP and TOPSIS methods obtained an accuracy of 99.85%. Changes in accuracy can be affected by the paired criteria entered and the minimum specification laptop entered by the user.

Abstract

Every living thing needs food to live, grow and reproduce. Food is a basic need that is needed by humans as a source of energy to carry out activities in daily life. By eating nutritIoUs food can bring a person into a healthy diet. An unhealthy diet can cause a person to create diseases such as malnutrition or even death. It is important to regulate the amount of food consumption to maintain and maintain a healthy body, so we need a system that can estimate the food consumed. To estimate the weight of the food that has been consumed by someone, an image of the food is needed before and before consumption. In this study the data used is secondary data in the form of food images in the tray box which opens 31 images consisting of 124 compartment images. The improvement K-Means method was chosen for segmenting food images on the tray box. With the application of this method, it is expected to provide results with a small error rate and have good accuracy in the estimation of food waste in the tray box. the results based on the evaluation of the results of the highest average accuracy of segmentation results of 82% with the RMSE estimation of the smallest food waste weight achievement of 2.19. The test results show that the clustering method with the K-Means improvement algorithm can be used to estimate the weight of food images.

Abstract

E-Learning technology has been widely used to support learning by various organizations and educational institutions, one of which is in learning programming. As one of the components of e-Learning technology, the user interface has an important role as the main means of accessing interaction between the system and the learner that can affect motivation, learning outcomes, and emotional conditions. In addition, it is known that many e-Learning products have been developed with more advanced technology, but pay less attention to the emotional aspects in their development so that they are not able to meet the tastes of learners and have an impact on comfort, age of use, and the success of learning objectives. Because of this background, research was conducted to find an overview of the programming user interface of e-Learning in accordance with the concept of the learner's emotions using the Kansei Engineering method so that the developed e-Learning interface can meet tastes, extend the life of e-Learning usage, and be able to provide user comfort in the process learn programming. Based on the test results, it is known that the interface developed using Kansei Engineering is able to provide comfort and convenience according to the concept of the learner's emotions as evidenced by user feedback and also usability testing on aspects of effectiveness of 93.125%, efficiency of 0.3 goals/second, and aspects of satisfaction using a questionnaire. System Usability Scale with a score of 76 which means good and acceptable.

Abstract

Politeknik Unisma Malang is a vocational education institution that was established on March 27, 2002 SK MENDIKNAS RI No. 19/D/O/2002 and No. 472/D/T/2003 which is located at Jl. MT. Haryono No. 193 Malang. The financial officer of the Poluteknik Unisma Malang has used computer facilities in processing student financial data, but the tool used is a non-integrated spreadsheet application. This resulted in the task of entering new student data which should have been carried out by the registration officer, carried out by the finance officer. In addition, the process of processing billing data, payment and preparing students financial report becomes complicated because the data is stored on multiple worksheets. To overcome this problem, an information system is needed that can process and make reports on student financial data, so in this research the design of a financial information system was carried out. In this research, the waterfall model is used in developing a system that contains steps that are carried out sequentially. Only 2 stages were carried out in this research. The first stage is the requirements definition which produces 7 features, 18 functional requirements, 1 non-functional requirement, and 19 use cases. The second stage is system and software design which produces system architecture design, analysis class from use case, unification of analysis class, package, class diagram, sequence diagram, data modeling, element of design, interface design, and interface prototype. The research ends with testing the design using a traceability matrix which states that all requirements can be traced to features, use cases, and sequence diagrams. In addition, testing of the interface prototype was also carried out using compatibility testing which resulted in that the prototype interface created could be opened in various browsers.

Abstract

Carelessness in driving can result in accidents that can harm yourself and others. To reduce losses caused by accidents, one can use insurance services. However, there are still many Indonesians who have not used insurance services due to high premiums. From these problems, a solution is needed to recommend someone to take insurance from the level of driving experience. One of the methods adopted from this research is to improve k-means with centroid initialization based on sum square error and k-nearest neighbor. The data used in this research are 600 data safe drivers, consisting of numeric data and categories. The recommendation process begins with clustering using k-means with the initialization of centroid sum square error which produces an average of 1000 iterations, which is 1660.64. From the SSE process, the optimum centroid was obtained and continued with the k-means process with k-prototype. The use of k-prototype is due to the data consisting of numeric and categorical data. After the clustering process, the distance between the tes data and the centroid is calculated to find the closest cluster. Furthermore, the classification process is carried out on the nearest cluster in order to make the classification process more efficient. The classification process uses KNN which aims to determine whether data is included in the recommendation category and not. From the tesing process the improve k-means method produces the highest average value of 72.83% accuracy, while the KNN method produces an average accuracy value of 47.5%. The results of these calculations use the value of k = 3 and k-fold on cross validation of 5.
