Abstract

Live Streaming Video is one technology that is still used today. The main challenge with streaming is that it requires a large bandwidth to run properly. With a modern multi-hop network topology and intersecting node paths, the requirement for connection to live streaming video is getting bigger due to busy network traffic. This has an impact on the value of Quality of Services (QoS) and user convenience. Network coding can be used at relay nodes to increase the QoS value, especially throughput on the network by channeling packets from two sources simultaneously. The research was carried out using the BATMAN proactive routing protocol, which only looks for the best next-hop path so that it is efficient in a Wireless Mesh Network with a total of five hardware nodes. Quality of Services (QoS) testing is carried out on two devices, namely node C and node D which stream on node A and node B with node E as an intermediary. After the network coding was implemented, the throughput value in the test at node C increased at QCIF resolution of 0.00014 MB/s and CIF of 0.109199 MB/s compared to normal conditions without network coding. While at node D, the increase in throughput after network coding also occurs at QCIF resolution of 0.000336 MB/s and CIF of 0.000345 MB/s. The results of the test parameters are in accordance with the theory of using network coding, which after implementing the throughput value shows an increase.

Abstract

SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kemlagi is a private school in Mojokerto Regency which was established in 2016. When the research was conducted, SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kemlagi was still using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word program for data processing. That's software did not connected to the database system, so there were often problems in managing data in a large amount. Many such as out of sync data and long and difficult data searches caused by many separate documents. This study aims to solve this problem by developing an information system to process school academic data. The information system developed is called the academic information system of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kemlagi or abbreviated as SIAKAD SMK MUTU. The information system developed is web-based and built using the PHP programming language with the Codeigniter framework with MVC architecture and MySQL database program. The system development method applies the waterfall model and the system modeling uses the UML (Unified Modeling Language) language, system testing uses blackbox testing and user acceptance test (UAT). The results of the blackbox test stated that the 20 function test cases found the validity of 100% and the system was running according to the stated specifications, the results of the user acceptance test (UAT) were found to be 82.9% of the 10 (ten) participants tested. Referring to the test results, it can be concluded that SIAKAD SMK MUTU is declared valid and very acceptable to users.

Abstract

SMAN 9 Malang is one of the public schools owned by Malang City. Even though it is relatively new, SMAN 9 Malang always tries to implement various uses of IT in schools, such as in the multimedia-based study room and computer laboratory. Based on the results from the interviews conducted by the examiners with Wakahumas there, SMAN 9 Malang does not have a special information system used to manage student data there. The whole process of recording student data is still done manually. Whether it's attendance system, violation record, guidance record, and student achievement record is still done manually. Normally, the teacher takes data from the class manually, then gives it to the TU for further input into the Ms. Excel on the school's computer. This makes it just to see the data, you need to contact the TU or meet Wakahumas. In overcoming the problem above, a solution was made in the form of a student management information system that was built using the agile rapid prototyping method. At the analysis and design stage, a model is built that can be used as communication between researchers and stakeholders in order to find the best solution in system development. The models used at this stage include use case diagrams, use case scenarios, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, and physical data models. The system is developed using php with laravel framework for website and flutter for mobile. The system that has been built is tested using blackbox testing and user acceptance test (UAT). Blackbox testing showing valid in all tests and UAT testing scores 96.42% for teacher users and scores 87.60% for students users.

Abstract

PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Malang is one of the PLN business units which has the obligation to serve prospective customers and the public related to the sale of electricity. Postpaid meter reading is one of the important business processes at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Malang. There are several problems that occur in the postpaid meter reading business process, including errors when inputting data, customers included in incorrect meter reading route, errors in meter reading, and difficulties in taking meter readings because the house is closed or the fence is locked which results in losses for PLN because they do not get accurate calculation results. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the postpaid meter reading business process to assess whether the postpaid meter reading business process is appropriate with performance indicators in the postpaid meter reading business. To evaluate the business process, the root cause of the problem in the postpaid meter reading business process was identified using the 3 x 5 Whys technique. After that, for problematic activities, recommendations are given using the 12 streamlining tools contained in the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. The recommended business process is then simulated and compared with the current business process to see the average time. The simulation results show that there is a decrease in the average time of 4 hours 8 minutes 18 seconds or 3.26% so it can be said that improvements in postpaid meter reading business process can solve the problems contained in the business process.

Abstract

The raising of catfish is urgently needed in agriculture. But there are still many growing countries that still manage by hand by logging on the development books. Of course, such measures are less effective because the likelihood of errors taking considerable time to record. In the proliferation of catfish, there is also a process of harvesting for the purpose of making it easier for the farmers to determine the worthiness of the crop by the established fish criteria. Therefore, the author create a web-based application to tax the feasibility of the catfish breeding crop to help the farmers carry out the feasibility process of harvesting. In the production of this application the author observes and interviews first to the development of the project, followed by the process of analysis of needs, design and implementation and testing. After analysis of needs, functional needs are provided by 28 (twenty-eight). The initiated design phase of architecture design, data design, component design, interface design and implemented using PHP programming language, HTML, JavaScript. The testing phase be done with the whitebox approach and the blackbox approach. Test results show that all functions that have been tested are valuable.

Abstract

There are quite a lot of video games published in various genres in this age, with one of the genres being strategy games. Strategy games rely on the player's ability to think critically while formulating a strategy in order to reach the game's goal. Strategy games are divided into several sub-genres, including tower defense. One of the tower defense video game available to download at the moment is Arknights. Currently Arknights has a positive reception from various users, scoring 4.6 stars at Google Play. However, a lot of players also had difficulties while playing, citing level difficulty and lack of resources received as main issues. Based on aforementioned issues, author conducts an analytic research using MDA Framework method, which refers to the analysis over the mechanic, dynamic and aesthetic aspects of a video game. This method is done by doing a solo testing and a playtesting session with several respondents, then conducting interviews with aforementioned respondents. Based on the analysis results from conducted interviews, recommendations that can be propsed to Arknights includes raising the possibility to obtain resources, accelerating automatically refilled resource refills, reducing resource consumption on several levels, and balancing the properties owned by enemy agents.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and the internet leads to the emergence of applications that aim to facilitate people's work to daily basis. Almost all areas in daily life have been helped by the available applications, varied in buying and selling activities, education, banking, to flat seeking. Therefore, there are still problems in the concerning seeking and managing flats. Flat tenants deal the difficulty of the limited options for conventional searching, manual way of getting around to get information, and problem when do the searching through social media because of the lack of optimal searching features such as filters and homogenous of information. The flats owners also deal with the difficulty due to the limited advertising and flats management such as personal data recording, rental time reminders, and billing notifications. In addition to features, it also requires an easy-to-use and fast interface to learn so that users want to use the application for a long period. Therefore, it is necessary to design the user experience of mobile application for searching and managing flats. This design applies the HCD approach, because it is considered best in knowing the needs of users properly. After completing the design process, this design involves a usability evaluation with scenario task method and SUS questionnaire in 6 respondents for each type of user. From the evaluation of tenant users and owners, it obtains the effectiveness values of 90.5% and 95.8%, efficiency values of 91.4%, and 93.3%, and satisfaction values of 80.4 and 80.

Abstract

The communication carried out by the Hansha Inventive company with clients at this time is still using the whatsapp or line application. The number of clients from Hansha Inventive causes a problem to arise, namely the problem of too many incoming messages so that they are piled up and finally there are unread messages, besides that the results of the work of creative agency companies are also not well structured because all the work sent by creative agency companies is still through the whatsapp or line application. In this study, a system was developed that aims to assist creative agency companies in managing clients with a system that can create a structured work concept then a system that can show the results of work to clients neatly so that the performance of Hansha Inventive can be increased. The development model used in this system is the waterfall development model. There are 3 tests carried out on this system, namely, unit testing, validation testing and compatibility testing. The system created this time is tested with unit testing, validation testing and compatibility testing. Unit testing using the white-box testing method resulted in a 100% valid percentage in six test cases, then validation testing using the black-box testing method resulted in a 100% valid percentage in 99 test cases. Then the compatibility test stated that this system can run on various web browsers but there are a few major problems with internet explorer, mozilla firefox, safari, and IOS. Then there are minor minor issues with internet explorer, mozilla firefox, and safari.

Abstract

The process of managing the goods at Welfa Sijunjung Store is everything that is related to many things. Process of managing goods at Welfa Stores include the sale of goods, data collection of goods, incoming goods, outgoing goods, and recording of consumer cash supplies. There are problems that are ineffective and inefficient in the process of managing goods at Welfa Sijunjung Shop because the management process is still carried out manually and conventionally. Data storage of incoming and outgoing goods, storing consumer cashbase data that is stored manually and only uses paper makes it very possible to lose or damage. The stock of goods in Welfa Stores is often left over and requires good forecasting of goods so that there is no accumulation of stock. In this study, a management and forecasting system for goods was developed which is expected to be able to handle the problems of managing goods at the Welfa Sijunjung Store. The system must be able to run on multiple browsers because this system is made web-based. In its development, this system uses the development of the waterfall model. In this study there are several stages, the first is to identify the problem, then study the literature, then carry out requirements engineering, design, implement, after implementation will be tested, after completion of testing the next stage is drawing conclusions and also suggestions. In this study there is a Weighted Moving Average method to forecast the stock of goods to be sold in the next period. This system was tested using unit testing and got valid results in 3 test cases, for validation testing getting valid results for 21 functionals tested, testing methods getting MAD results of 2.3, MSE of 7.9 and MAPE of 20.1 %.

Abstract

Technology is a world that is always evolving over time. Technological developments have now reached the stage of integration with business. In its implementation, of course the business will also participate in making changes and improvements in order to achieve the organization's vision and mission. CV. Jiwo Elektro is an organization engaged in manufacturing. In carrying out its business processes, the organization has targets that must be met in order to achieve its vision and mission. The existing business processes in the organization have also been integrated with the information technology used. To achieve these targets, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the organization, especially during the current pandemic which greatly affects the performance of existing business processes. By evaluating the business processes running in the organization, it is hoped that the evaluation results can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes so that organizational goals can be fully achieved. In this study, researchers evaluate existing business processes using the Quality Evaluation Factor (QEF) method. QEF is an evaluation method that focuses on the suitability of the targets set by the organization (quality factor) with the reality that occurs in the field. For this reason, before conducting an evaluation, researchers will first model the existing business processes in the organization. This business process modeling is carried out using the Bizagi application. To model the business process, the researcher collected data by using the interview method with the relevant stakeholders. After conducting interviews and modeling business processes, the researcher will conduct further interviews with decision makers regarding the quality factors or organizational targets that have been set. Then the researcher evaluates the data obtained by comparing the target with field data. The results of the evaluation will then become the results of this research and it is hoped that these results can be used by organizations for decision making in the future.
