PALAPA: Jurnal studi Keislaman dan ilmu pendidikan diterbitkan oleh lembaga penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat (LP2M) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat melalui Koordinatorat Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta (Kopertais) Wilayah IV Surabaya. Jurnal ini terbit enam bulanan, yaitu bulan Mei dan November. Jurnal ini memuat kajian-kajian keislaman dan ilmu pendidikan yang meliputi Ilmu Pendidikan, Pendidikan Islam, Syari'ah, Pemikiran Islam, dan kajian Islam lainnya.

Education is the main investment in shaping a person's character, personality and mentality. In this globalization era, character, personality and mental education are eroded by western education. Islamic boarding school education is a top priority in shaping a person's character, personality and mentality to be better. Islamic boarding school education provides optimal and effective time in implementing religious and moral values. The capacity of pesantren as a religious institution in its history has succeeded in realizing the order of life of religious communities, with a fundamental and complex understanding of Islam. The values of Islamic education that are so complex from values, aqeedah, monotheism, morality and science in this era of globalization have been fulfilled in Islamic boarding schools. Therefore Islamic boarding school education applies the values of quality Islamic education to establish the mentalty resilience of santri (islamic student), Islamic boarding school plays an important role in making a person become a human who is civilized (insanul kamil).

This paper presents a model of learning about the use of reciprocal teaching with technology-based approach to ASSURE that will be applied in college. Reciprocal Teaching is becoming one of the learning models that train students to learn independently and active. With the existence of reciprocal learning teaching model of application students are expected to carry out and follow the learning effectively and efficiently. The learning process is basically a direct interaction between the students and educators held aims to to a destination that has meant. In addition the interaction process will bear an effective communication as well as the need for a development that is both instructional media with a melaluli approach to ASSURE. Approach to ASSURE the approach can be a designing a learning through technology-based media. This is necessary in order to set up and customize the process of learning in college by making the liveliness, creativity and independence as well as encourage students to berantusias in studying diligently and follow the lectures. So it is with the application of the reciprocal teaching and pendekatanASSURE in college could create conditions that are more meaningful and enable them to build better personality and character and self-reliance in learning.

This research is motivated by assumption that in maximizing student learning result it is deemed necessary to present new inovation in a learning process. This study was purposed to fully describe the role of inquiry learning strategies that have collaborated with other learning strategies or methods in maximizing learning result obtained by students of SMKN 02 KRAKSAAN. The implementation of strategies or learning methods is considered to be dominantly influential in improving student learning result. This research method uses descriptive research methods that are collaborative in qualitative form. The subject of this research are the teachers and students of SMKN 02 KRAKSAAN. Research data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The result of this study showed an increase in the average student learning result by 15 points (documentation result) from the previous action (the implementation of inquiry learning strategies). Things that show the enormity of the influence given by inquiry learning strategies in maximizing student learning result.

The purpose of this paper is to find out how the Foster Mother owns the role to assist and become a leader to cultivate English in the Foreign Language Development Institution, so that the English-language culture of students can take part in this era by preaching religious knowledge in English. With its role, Foster Mother as a determinant of success of institutional students run with management functions which include: Planning, organizing, movement, control and evaluation. As well as foster mothers also play with their role, such as using a democratic style, providing motivation and giving awards to students so that students can carry out an English-language culture within the Foreign Language Development Institution. And in the English-speaking environment Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School has the characteristic which always be use English for about 24 hours in a day, conducting intensive studies, and speaking English with Islamic values. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection conducted by researchers is interview techniques. The object of research is the English-language culture which in this case is the leadership role of the Guardian Asuh.

Where is the Islamic view of the hermeneutics of the Qur'an? This article describes the eternal philosophy, I assert that the study of the Qur’an with a hermeneutical approach is very necessary in this era of globalization. This article uses the method of psychological interpretation. The Psychological approach uses cooperative and hunches in understanding the author's soul. This is not only to understand the author from a psychological point of view, but also to get the author's intent from within the text. This article is here to understand and analyze the understanding of the meaning of the esoteric verses of the Qur'an. Contemplation and debate are evidence of the loss of esoteric spiritual-religious understanding of the Qur'an, this understanding recognizes the Qur'an as a sacred / divine reflection that has moral strength, and becomes a moral-spiritual teacher of man. This essay focuses on the idea that the Qur'anic hermeneutics serves to explore the esoteric meaning of the Qur'an as a source of ethics involving the environment and knowledge which can be a valuable resource for the education of the hermeneutical generation.

Academic supervision is inseparable from the teacher in conducting learning management. The purpose of this study was to obtain new findings about: 1) Conformity between learning management in Al Urwatul Usqo ECD with Permendikbud 137 of 2014; 2) Causes have not been supported by academic supervision by the Al Urwatul Usqo PAUD school principal. This research is a qualitative study with a type of research, namely a case study. This research was conducted in Al Urwatul Usqo PAUD. The subjects in this study were principals. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documents. Data analysis techniques in this study used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Five "Why" developed by Sakichi Toyoda in 1930 and developed based on discussions made by academic supervision by principals, namely by techniques: (1) Learning management consisting of planning, implementation and evaluation is in accordance with Permendikbud 137 of 2014; (2) Causes that are not supported by academic supervision by the principal are because the appointment of the principal is not in accordance with the competency standards of the KB / TK principals needed in Permendikbud 137 of 2014. Suggestions that can be given are: (1) for Al Urwatul Usqo PAUD managers if want to be appointed headmaster needs to look at the competency standards of KB / TK principals needed in Permendikbud 137 of 2014; (2) Principals can improve the competency of principals by studying or studying undergraduate education at PAUD so that it can facilitate the function of the wrong headmaster, only academic supervision.

Learning with conventional models with lecture methods is still widely practiced by the instructors, it cannot be said to be successful, the media used are less attractive, still use whiteboards and markers so students are less motivated, so that improvements are needed in accordance with the times. Active Learning method, can be used in changing the conventional way of learning. This method can have an effect on increasing the motivation and creativity, in order to be able to change the behavior of the face the globalization era that occurred along the progress of science and the development of technological information. Based on problems occurred, the researchers are interested in research the influence of active learning to increased motivation and creativity learning learners. Research methods qualitative, descriptive, namely through observation, using approach to data librarianship sourced from books and scientific material that is obtained at one of the Internet. Research results can become a reference in the learning process by either the teacher or learners, because it has given clarity how active learning influences the motivation and creativity of learners in the globalization era.

Due to the dynamic and ever-changing contexts of their work, teachers need to continuously develop their professionalism. One professional development procedure close enough to teachers’ work place, the classroom, is Lesson Study (LS). This paper illustrates the potentials benefits of implementing LS in one Islamic school in Lombok and the challenges of implementing this procedure in this particular school. Data were collected through distribution of questionnaire to 31 teachers of this school. Results of data analysis indicate that all teachers are positive about the advantages of applying LS in their classrooms. However, they are also aware of the potential challenges of implementing this professional development procedure in the school, which needs careful consideration. Following a list of all these challenges is recommendation of how to deal with them.

Codification and cultural transformation in the Riau Malay region from a local religion to the Islamic religious system, complete with various forms of embodiment of all forms of culture. Revolution and religious reform in Riau Malay society which gave rise to cultural transformation were due to several inherent factors or other factors which were later strongly associated with Islam. Islam when it has to be actualized in culture has presented its face in harmony with the culture of culture in an area, and in the regional diversity of Islamic culture there is still a place for local Islamic culture. However, all cultural diversity is united by spirit and a sacred form of tradition that comes from tawhid. Riau Malay Culture is one of the forms of Islamic culture that has many supporters. Islamic values are clearly seen in various aspects of Riau Malay culture. Malays make Islam the spirit or core of their culture. The history of the entry of Islam, Islamic law, codification and compilation of Islamic law on the yellow Malay land of Riau Kepri tend to be modest, without any resistance mentally, socially, culturally and faithfully. This has led to the Trem that Malays are synonymous with Islam, especially Malay Riau.
