Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan resensi dari buku yang berjudul “Studi Sejarah dan Budaya Lombok”. Secara umum buku ini mencoba menjelaska tentang budaya masyarakat Sasak-Lombok. Masyarakat Sasak dijelaskan dalam perspektif budayanya dan menunjukkan bahwa budaya pada masyarakat Sasak masih terjaga dengan baik. Perlu menjadi catatan dalam buku ini adalah kepustakaan yang menjadi acuan. Artinya, kepustakaan yang digunakan belum begitu menunjukkan kualitas yang sesungguhnya.Kata Kunci: Studi Sejarah, Budaya Lombok

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah; (1) Untuk mengetahui sejarah Tradisi Jati Suara dalam acara khitanan di Desa Darmasari Kecamatan Sikur  Kabupaten Lombok Timur; (2) Untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan Tradisi Jati Suara dalam acara khitanan di Desa Darmasari Kecamatan Sikur Kabupaten Lombok Timur; dan (3) Untuk mengetahui dampak tradisi Jati Suara terhadap kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Darmasari Kecamatan Sikur Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah. Metode sejarah dalam pengertian yang lebih umum adalah penelitian suatu atas masalah dengan mengaplikasikan jalan pemecahannya dari perspektif historis. Peneliti menggunakan metode sejarah, karena dalam penelitian ini mengkaji eksistensi tradisi Jati Suara dalam Acara Khitanan di Desa Darmasari Kecamatan Sikur Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Metode sejarah merupakan cara atau teknik dalam merekonstruksi peristiwa masa lampau melalui empat tahapan kerja, yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi.Kata Kunci: Eksistensi, Tradisi, Jati Suara, Khitanan.

Abstract

Problems historical learning process is the low activity and student learning outcomes. This is due to lack of appropriate learning model in learning. Learning model that can be used to overcome this problem is the model CTL-aided instructional materials. Contextual Learning (CTL) presents the events of the past into the real world who directly witnessed the student. This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes through CTL model-aided instructional materials Indonesian History course I .. This research is a class action that includes planning, implementation, observation / evaluation and reflection. The research activities conducted on the activities and learning outcomes and student responses to deploy lecture. The subject of the first semester students study History Education Studies Program. Activity data were collected using the observation sheet. Data were collected using a test of learning outcomes. Student response data on the implementation of the course through observation and interviews. The results showed activity in the learning cycle I had an average score of 5.27 with a fairly active category. The second cycle of increased activity learning with an average score of 7.5 with Active category. Results of study subjects Indonesian History I through CTL Model-aided instructional materials increased from the first cycle to the second cycle where the average value of learning outcomes in the first cycle is 63, 77 (enough) and the second cycle of the average value increased by 73.40 (high). Student response to the application of the model identified CTL strongly agree.Keywords: CTL, Instructional Materials, Activity, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan : 1)  model pembelajaran IPS Terpadu yang terintegrasi dan bahan ajar IPS Terpadu yang terintegrasi di SMP. Pengembangan  Model pembelajaran dan Bahan ajar IPS Terpadu yang terintegrasi yang dihasilkan diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi bagi guru dan siswa dalam mengintegrasikan materi ajar IPS secara terpadu serta menambah wawasan siswa dalam kajian antar ilmu dalam lingkup IPS.  Rancangan penelitian menggunakan rancangan analisis pengembangan yang meliputi: 1) analisis kebutuhan model pembelajaran dan bahan ajar IPS Terpadu yang terintegrasi; dan 2) merancang model pembelajaran dan bahan ajar IPS Terpadu yang terintegrasi dan; 3) validatas ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dan siswa SMP Kota Selong mengalami kesulitan menghubungkan dan mengintegrasikan materi ajar IPS Terpadu. Guru belum mampu menyampaikan materi ajar secara integral antara materi sejarah, ekonomi geografi dan sosiologi. Kondisi ini berpengaruh pada rendahnya wawasan siswa terhadap interdisipliner keilmuan IPS. Guru dan siswa mengharapkan adanya Model pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Model pembelajaran dan bahan ajar IPS terpadu yang terintegrasi. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan model pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang telah dibuat tergolong kriteria sangat baik dan relevan dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan uji validatas ahli.  Kata kunci : Model pembelajaran, bahan ajar, IPS Terpadu, Terintegrasi

Abstract

Tujuan umum dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Snowball Throwing dengan Media Audio Visual terhadap prestasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI MA Mu’alimin NW Pancor tahun pembelajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, yaitu penelitian eksperimen sungguhan dengan menggunakan perlakuan pada kelompok eksperimen. Subyek yang ditempatkan sebagai kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan memberikan pembelajaran dengan model Snowball Throwing dengan Media Audio Visual dan kelompok pembanding (control) tidak diberikan perlakuan apa-apa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model Snowball Throwing dengan Media Audio Visual dibandingkan dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan model Snowball Throwing dengan Media Audio Visual memiliki rata-rata skor yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional. Hasil pengujian secara statistik terhadap hasil post test masing-masing kelompok dengan menggunakan uji-t, menunjukkan hasil bahwa prestasi belajar sejarah kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model Snowball Throwing dengan Media Audio Visual lebih baik dengan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkankan menggunakan metode konvensional. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan diterima.Kata Kunci: Model Snowball Throwing dan Media Audio Visual, Prestasi Belajar.

Abstract

The concept of metacognitive learning with a spiritual approach is to focus on the role of mind and language and how to apply it in reading to improve emotional of intelligence in understanding the universal meaning of the text. This essay uses the approach Centered Attention of Meditation (FA). That is to focus the mind on objects, images, or words in sentences that are understood to add insight to the context of what the author explained, to connect the reader to understand the mind and language. This essay is here to open the freezing of the universal meaning of the text from what covers the mind and the meaning of language with the reading formula (B+B), namely “Stop and Think”. Human language is a linguistic structure that must be understood through understanding of meditation.

Abstract

The purpose of this Qur'anic Discourse Study is to analyze the verses of the surah Al-Ikhlas verse 1 to find the essence of God's esoteric dialogue to the Prophet Muhammad. This discourse study uses interpretation of Al-Mukhtasor fi Tafsir Al-Qur?anil Kariim. At-tashniif: Jama?atin min Ulama?it tafsir and translation of the Qur'an. This research uses the method of social constructionist discourse study approach, namely how the relationship between knowledge and social processes in understanding discourse studies are managed through social processes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Three Step Interview method on student history learning outcomes. The research method used is an experimental method. The experimental design used was quasi-experimental by giving treatment in the form of applying the Three Step Interview method to the experimental class and the conventional method to the control class. The sample in this study amounted to 35 people. The data collection technique used was a multiple choice test, while the data analysis technique used was the t test using SPSS 16.0. Based on data analysis, the significance value of the t-test for Equality of Means was 0,000 0.05. These results indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of the Three Step Interview method on student history learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study described the history of the arrival of Madurese traders to Sumbawa Besar with a cultural assimilation process of Sumbawa Besar and Madurese communities. The purpose of this study was to find out the history of the arrival of Madurese traders to Sumbawa Besar, to find out the cultural assimilation process of Madurese and Sumbawa Besar communities, and to find out the impact of the assimilation between Sumbawa Besar and Madurese communities. This research was qualitative research. Data collection was done through direct observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The study result concluded that Madurese traders came to Sumbawa in the middle of 17th century through trading relation. In the middle of 20th century around 1920, several Madurese began to explore the land of Sumbawa Besar. The cultural character of open and democratic society made Madurese traders and Sumbawa’s people to assimilate easily. The assimilation process was carried out through social interaction, marriage, trade, and religious processes. The impact of the cultural assimilation of Sumbawa Besar and Madurese communities was shown by the establishment of a communication relationship between Sumbawa Besar and Madurese communities, the construction of a new community structure for the integrated of Sumbawa Besar community as Tau and Tana Samawa, and the construction of a new culture as Sumbawa’s culture requiring openness and tolerance.

Abstract

This study focused on examining mythology and history of tomb for a person who was considered sacred by the society. The sacred tomb is the place where person factually buried or the last location seen by others according to the local people beliefs of a past figure based on the relationships of ancestral, great name, extraordinary advantages, historical traces, his services, and values and traditions inherited by the figure which is believed by the most people to grant the wishes. The sacred tomb is the tomb of a figure in the past such as wali Allah, king, and so on. The purpose of this study was to know the history of the tomb of Ramban Biaq in East Lombok, to understand the people perception of the tomb of Ramban Biaq, to know the factors influencing people to make a pilgrimage to the tomb of Ramban Biaq, and to understand the procedures of pilgrimage to the tomb of Ramban Biaq. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and literature study. The result study explained that the person who was featured in the mythology of the tomb of Ramban Biaq did not die, but still alive and lived in another world. The other myth was that this tomb can grant a pray to God.Â
