Abstract

The quality of education is a benchmark for parents to choose their child's school, so it requires regular monitoring and evaluation. This study aims to analyze the implications of monitoring and evaluation of school quality. The background of this research took place at One Roof Junior High School 4, STU Jehe, Pakpak Bharat Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and the type of research is field research. Collecting data in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis used is data reduction technique, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of this study concluded that supervision activities using individual and group techniques as a result of monitoring and evaluation have succeeded in improving the quality of education. Then supervision activities include monitoring, coaching, guidance and training, as well as assessments which greatly impact the implications of monitoring and evaluating school quality improvement. Supporting factors in the form of cooperation and mutual support are one of the keys to successful implementation.

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) causes various problems in all of life, one of which is Education. This research aimed (1) to determine of differences in learning outcomes for PAI subjects during the COVID-19 emergency period in the odd and even semester of the 2020/2021 school year, (2) the COVID-19 transition period in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 SMPN level in Bima City was a process, especially students learning outcomes as an objective standard for achieving learning objectives, especially how the results were achieved in PAI subjects.(3) Factors causing differences during the emergency and transitional periods of Covid-19. This study uses a quantitative method of Ex Post Facto comparative causal type approach. As for the research results. The ANOVA test used SPSS which (1) Showed 0.000 < 0.05, it meant that there was a significant difference in PAI learning outcomes during the COVID-19 emergency period for the odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year with the average scores of SMPN 1 is 88.40, SMPN 7is 80.24, and SMPN 8 is 78.83. Furthermore, the even semester showed 0.000 < 0.05, it meant that there was a significant difference in PAI learning outcomes during the COVID-19 emergency period of even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year with the average scores of SMPN 1 is 88.87, SMPN 7 is 85.52 and SMPN 8 is 80.65. (2) During the COVID-19 transition period for the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, there was a significant difference in PAI learning outcomes with 0.000 <0.05 with average scores of SMPN 1 is 90.03, SMPN 7 is 85.16 and SMPN 8 is 80.61. (3) The factors causing the differences are internal factors originating from the student themselves and external factors such as different in school backgrounds, quality of educational institutions and socio-economic conditions as well as support from schools and parents.

Abstract

This study is aimed to evaluate the learning of Educational Statistics Course at PAI Study Program of STAI Alkhairaat Labuha, Ternate. This is evaluation research, employing the combination of Discrepancy and Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model. The study employed mixed methods involving questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The case study method was used, which included total sampling of 14 students. The research results reveal several significant findings: To begin with, the learning gap for Educational Statistics Course for the 2022/2023 Academic Year is relatively small with 11.57%. Second, the lecturers have pedagogical competence and high professionalism in the student's perspectives. This is indicated by the findings that the gap of pedagogical and professional competence is extremely small with 8.35% and 4.20% respectively. Third, the use of Mastery Learning approach to teach Educational Statistics is considered effective and making Google forms and applications to collect data directly from respondents and data processing procedures provides the most effective learning experience for students. The researchers made the following recommendations: firstly, lecturers should design well-developed and structured lesson plans, and enhance student learning with practical skills to make learning more successful. Second, lecturers are encouraged to improve their pedagogical skills, particularly in the topics of material distribution, calculating material, and to increase learning for quartile material and research hypotheses. Third, lecturers should continue using the Mastery Learning approach in the teaching of Educational Statistics. Fourth, lecturers are urged to fully enhance students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor through direct practices and peer collaboration.

Abstract

Career guidance is an effort to provide direction and coaching in determining the future that will be achieved by students. This study aims to describe and analyze career guidance services to increase motivation to continue their education to the tertiary level for students of SMAN 4 Tebing Tinggi. A qualitative approach is used in this study, with an analytical descriptive study method. As for data collection using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation, to draw a conclusion. The results of this study found that the majority of class XII students at SMAN 4 Tebing Tinggi had high motivation to continue their studies at various tertiary institutions, although there were some of them who wanted to do business for reasons of family economic limitations. Through the provision of information services based on career guidance conducted by alumni of SMAN 4 Tebing Tinggi, students can get to know the campus world, choose study programs according to their talents and interests, and the positive impact of continuing their studies to a higher education level. Thus, students can consider making career decisions after graduating from high school with a sense of satisfaction, full awareness, and responsibility for career choices.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of human-based media in learning Islamic religious education at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The main source of this research, researchers took from one Islamic religious education teacher and ten students. Research data was taken using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentary evidence. Furthermore, the data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and making research conclusions. This research proves that human-based media by Islamic religious education teachers at Pertiwi 1 Padang High School has been used for a long time and works well. Because the teacher already has sufficient insight regarding human-based media. The application of human-based media is divided into two, namely in the classroom by showing good gestures and public speaking and outside the classroom by exemplifying the style of speech, dress, and teaching respect to the teacher. The use of human-based media also has a positive impact on students, seen from the increasing learning outcomes during the use of human-based media. The inhibiting factors in the use of human-based media are the condition of the teacher, the condition of the students, and the environment. The supporting factors are the teacher's ability and the support of the school principal

Abstract

Education has a very important role, even its position in religion becomes an obligation. One of the most important educational roles in human life is moral education. Moral education has always been a major problem that has plagued humanity throughout history. The objectives of this study are 1) To know the concept of the moral education program for students of PPT Al-Hamidiyah NW Kediri. 2) Knowing the implementation of the moral education of students of PPT Al-Hamidiyah NW Kediri 3) Knowing what are the obstacles encountered in implementing the moral education of students of PPT Al-Hamidiyah NW Kediri and their solutions. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. While the research location is centered on the Al-Hamidiyah Integrated Islamic Boarding School, NW Kediri, West Lombok. The results of the study are: 1) The concept of the moral education program at PPT Al-Hamidiyah NW Kediri is in the form of intra curricular and extracurricular program activities, as well as the daily activities of the students, 2) The implementation of the moral education of students at PPT Al-Hamidiyah NW Kediri is divided into three stages, namely the stages: (a) Planning (b) Implementation and (c) Evaluation (3) The obstacles encountered in implementing the santri moral education at PPT Al-Hamidiyah NW Kediri include laziness, difficulty gathering during planning meetings, limited infrastructure. sudden event invitations, diverse student backgrounds, the impact of increasingly uncontrolled technological advances, psychological factors, the lack of openness of the asatidz board in expressing their opinions during evaluation meetings, and the busy life of the pesantren leaders. The solution is to collaborate with all parties, prepare back-up asatidz, look for a khos youth for transferring students and provide punishment for rule breakers.

Abstract

The Bekayat tradition is one of traditions in the Sasak tribe. The Bekayat tradition is a tradition of reciting saga poem which is functioned by preachers as a medium of preaching. It was started with a negative response to the bekayat tradition conveyed by one of generations with the different understanding by saying that the bekayat tradition had existed since the arrival of the Islam propagators and they said that this tradition was a tradition belonged to the misguided heresy, so the researcher needs to examine this tradition and straightens the incorrect responses. The objectives of this research were to find out how the stages of the Bekayat tradition process in Kuripan District were, to find out the Islamic educational values contained in the Bekayat tradition and to find out how the young generation responds to the Bekayat tradition. The research method used was qualitative research method and the purpose was to obtain the data in the form of written or oral descriptions from the observation subject, while the data collection procedures used by researcher were interviews, observation, and documentation. The implementation procedures of the Bekayat tradition in Kuripan District, namely, started with preparation, the main activities or reciting the saga poem and closing are followed with the convivial event. Educational values in the bekayat tradition in Kuripan District consist of processional values, script values and traditional values. The researcher acquired responses from the young generation which were divided into two parts, there were positive and negative responses, while the positive response was because they obtained a lot of lessons, as the form of support for the Bekayat tradition, and the negative response was because they felt disturbed during the breaks with the sound of Bekayat reading, waste of time.

Abstract

Terrorists have a limited sense of national identity. They wish to replace Pancasila ideology with one founded on the Qur'an and hadith. Thus, what about the former terrorist's identity? Former terrorist actors have renounced violence and terror to fight for an ideology (disengagement). However, not all former terrorists declared themselves members of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to describe the dual identities of former terrorists who have sworn allegiance to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach in ex-terrorist Indonesia. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed according to the Yin case study perspective with the help of Atlas.ti software. This article demonstrates the dual identity of former Indonesian terrorists. All informants have sworn allegiance to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This demonstrates an increase in the national identity of rehabilitated terrorist actors, despite several informants having superordinate national identities. Other findings indicated a subordinate identity, namely the identity of a mujahideen. This identity persists, although the permit has been revoked. Informants continued to wish to establish a caliphate state (including Indonesia), even though they no longer desired violence and terror. Hopefully this research can be used in the deradicalization of terrorist actors in Indonesia.

The purpose of this research is For know how draft conservation environment in the cottage Boarding school Darumuhyiddin NW Debok Subdistrict Terra East Lombok District and Want know how effort conservation environment in the cottage Boarding school Darumuhyiddin NW Debok Subdistrict Terra East Lombok Regency . Research type Which used is field research with a qualitative approach, where this researcher try describe the research subject. Method collection data use method observation, interview and documentation . The concept of environmental conservation based on Sufism values at the Darumuhyiddin Islamic Boarding School, NW Debok, is the concept of al zuhd, the concept of al hub, and the concept of fikr and dzikr. debok in the form of an environmental care curriculum/eco boarding school program and a hidden curriculum/hidden curriculum. Both tree planting and waste management, Darumuhyiddin Islamic boarding school terminology of environmentalism in an effort to protect and preserve the environment so that it is sustainable. The third is the thrifty behavior of the community in the Islamic boarding school environment. The behavior of the residents of the Islamic boarding school as a result of environmental conservation education activities can occur in students who have graduated (alumni).

Abstract

The aim of the study was to find out the study habits of high achieving students in utilizing effective study hours at Keruak 1 Public High School. This research is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Teachers and outstanding students in class X MIPA I, X MIPA IV and X MIPA V SMA Negeri 1 Keruak as subjects in this study. To obtain data used observation (observation of objects), interviews to obtain detailed and in-depth information on objects, and documentation. then the data is processed using the Miles & Huberman model which then checks the correctness of the data using data triangulation. The research results obtained show the effective study hours habits of outstanding students at SMA Negeri 1 Keruak. Students are more likely to enjoy studying in the first hour of class than learning at the end of the lesson, students learn independently by searching for study material on the internet, textbooks and other learning resources, students always record and repeat material provided by the teacher. Suggestions for educators pay attention to the efficient use of student learning time and provide methods for time management. Parents must also provide support and facilities for efficient study time at home.
