Abstract

Information and communication technology that is now developing to give effect to the learning process. There is a change in the learning process, which is usually done limited learning in the classroom with a predetermined schedule developed into a distance learning can be done anywhere and anytime. Lessons usually involve facilities in the form of material like a book but now growing by utilizing the network (network) by using a computer with internet technology, thus forming pembelajaraan "online". Learning with the charge of information technology will be effective if the teacher's role is as a facilitator in the learning or learning that makes it easy for learners to learn is no longer as informants. The Research method used quantitative descriptive, sampling techniques using purposive sampling technique with 116 students in the sample. The results showed: opinions about the presence of hotspots IAIN Salatiga in which they were pleasant. The existence of free internet area in the library was requested to be increased. As the concluding opinion, most respondents responded “mediocre” or “less satisfied” with the ICT service in IAIN Salatiga.

Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan komponen pendidikan yang dijadikan acuan oleh lembaga  pendidikan. Penyempurnaan kurikulum yang berkelanjutan merupakan keharusan agar sistem pendidikan selalu relevan dan kompetitif. Kurikulum  saat ini adalah kurikulum 2013 yang merupakan pengembangan dari KTSP dan KBK. Penelitian ini adalah eksploratif kualitatif. Subyeknya adalah guru pengampu mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti. Pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Dengan analisis induksi analitik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Guru mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti memahami aturan yang tertera dalam PP No 65 dan 66, baik secara administratif berupa RPP, pendekatan ilmiah dan penilaian otentik. Respon positif diberikan guru terhadap implementasi kurikulum 2013. Selain penambahan struktur kurikulum menjadi tiga jam, model pendekatan yang digunakan mampu menjadikan guru sebagai fasilitator bagi siswa dan sumber belajar bisa diambilkan dari berbagai pihak. Guru telah melaksanakan pendekatan scientific dengan teknik 5 M. walaupun masih terdapat kebingungan dari guru ketika harus melakukan penilaian sikap dan ketrampilan secara utuh yang sesuai dengan permendikbud No. 66 tentang penilaian. Kelebihannya pendekatan yang dikembangkan mampu mengembangkan kreatifitas siswa dan penilaian yang digunakan menyeluruh tiga ranah. Hambatan yang ada diantaranya kurangnya kesiapan guru dan siswa serta kurangnya sarana prasarana yang memadai. The curriculum is an educational component which is used as a reference by the institution. Continuous curriculum improvement is needed to maintain the education system relevant and competitive. The current curriculum is 2013 curriculum in which is the development of SBC and CBC. This study is a qualitative exploratory. The subject is PAI and Moral Principle teacher. The data is collected by documentation, observation, and interviews with the induction of analytic analysis. The results indicate that teacher PAI and Moral Principle understand the rules contained in Regulation No. 65 and 66, in administrative form of RPP, scientific approach and authentic assessment. Teachers give positive response to the 2013 curriculum implementation. Besides the addition of curriculum structure into three hours, the approach model make the teacher as a facilitator for students, while learning resources are taken from various parties. Teachers have carried out a scientific approach to 5M technique. In spite of teachers’ confusion found when they assess the attitudes and skills as a whole in accordance with Ministry of Education's regulation No. 66 on assessment. The advantage is that developed approach is able to develop students' creativity and the thorough assessment on three domains. The barriers include the lack of preparedness of teachers and students as well as the lack of adequate infrastructure. Kata kunci: pendekatan ilmiah, penilaian otentik, PAI

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang urgensi penilaian lingkungan internal dan eksternal dalam penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM). Dari penelitian dapat penulis simpulkan bahwa lingkungan organisasi  dapat dibedakan atas lingkungan internal (internal environment) yang terdiri tiga unsur pendukung yaitu: pertama, struktur (structure), berkenaan  dengan komunikasi, wewenang dan arus kerja. Struktur sering juga disebut rantai perintah, dan digambarkan secara grafis dengan menggunakan bagan organisasi; kedua, budaya (culture),  merupakan pola keyakinan, pengharapan, dan nilai-nilai yang berlaku di kalangan anggota organisasi; ketiga, sumber daya (resources), meliputi keahlian seseorang, kemampuan, dan bakat manajerial dari setiap anggota organisasi. Sedangkan lingkungan eksternal adalah kondisi-kondisi yang berada diluar organisasi, yang secara langsung juga memberi pengaruh terhadap kelangsungan jalannya roda organisasi seperti terjadinya aksi protes atau pemogokkan, munculnya perubahan undang-undang, ketidakpastian lingkungan (environmental uncertainty) dan lain-lain. Adapun dalam menilai kedua lingkungan tersebut, bisa dilakukan dengan mengunakan sepuluh karakteristik yang ada dalam Total Quality Management (TQM) yaitu: a) fokus pada pelanggan; b) obsesi terhadap kualitas; c) pendekatan ilmiah; d) komitmen jangka panjang; e) kerjasama tim (team work); f) perbaikan sistem secara berkesinambungan; g) pendidikan dan pelatihan; h) kebebasan yang terkendali; i) kesatuan tujuan, dan j) adanya keterlibatan dan pemberdayaan karyawan.        This article aims to explain the urgency of the internal and external environment assessment in the application of TQM. From the authors conclude that the study can be distinguished on the Environment organization's internal environment which comprises three supporting elements: first, the structure, with regard to communication, authority and work flows. The structure is often also called the chain of command, and depicted graphically using organization charts; secondly, culture, a pattern of beliefs, expectations, and values that prevail among members of the organization; and third, the resource, include the individual's expertise, capabilities, and managerial talents of every member of the organization. While the external environment is the conditions that are outside the organization, which also directly influences the survival of organizations. As in assessing both the environment, can be done by using the characteristics that exist in TQM, namely: a) focus on the customer; b) obsession with quality; c) a scientific approach; d) long-term commitment; e) team work; f) improvement of the system on an ongoing basis; g) education and training; h) freedom of hand; i) unity of purpose; and j) the involvement and empowerment of employees.

Abstract

AbstractMAN Suruh Semarang Regency has CERIA vision (smart, energetic, religious, scientific, practice). This research wants to know the role of Islamic education’s teacher in developing Ceria concept and how the Ceria concept implemented by the students. This research used qualitative approach. There are three technique in collecting data. They are: observation, documentation, and interview. The researcher as instrument take data by in-depth interview. There are three steps in analyzing data: data reduction, display data, and data verification. The respondent who become the source of information are the headmaster, Islamic education’s teacher, guidance and counseling’s teacher, and students. Based on the observation which lasted for two months, the researcher can conclude: 1) teacher plays an important role in creating CERIA concept. Teacher as an initiator, class manager, motivator, facilitator, and evaluator; 2) “Ceria” concept implementation by the students of MAN Suruh in the form of madrasah policy which encourage the comfortable and conducive environment for the students learning. Various academic and non-academic to develop students’ potential. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PAI dalam menunmbuhkembangkan konsep Ceria dan mengetahui bagaimana implementasi konsep CERIA pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data ada tiga metode utama yang dipakai yaitu, observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Peneliti mengambil peran sebagai instrumen untuk menggali data yang lebih lengkap melalui indepth interview. Adapun analisis data melalui tiga tahapan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data (display), dan verifikasi. Sebagai responden yang menjadi sumber informasi adalah kepala madrasah, guru PAI, guru BK, dan siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang berlangsung selama dua bulan dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: 1) Guru mengambil peran sangat positif dalam mewujudkan konsep CERIA. Peran guru sebagai inisiator, pengelola kelas, motivator, fasilitator, dan evaluator; (2) Implementasi konsep Ceria pada peserta didik di MAN Suruh dalam wujud kebijakan madrasah yang mendukung dalam pembentukan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk pembelajaran siswa. Beragam kegiatan akademik dan non akademik yang berfungsi mengembangkan potensi peserta didik. Abstract

The subject of aqidah-akhlaq has a contribution in providing motivation to students to practice the values of religious belief (monotheism) and moral behavior in daily life. In this study, supporting factors in the implementation of the learning process of this subject at Islamic senior high schools (MAs) were the factors of the teachers and the environment. The research is concerned with, firstly the delivery of the teaching and learning process on the aqidah-akhlaq subject at MAs, and secondly the supporting factors of teachers in the learning process of the aqidah-akhlaq subject in MA students. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive research method. Meanwhile, the data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research subjects were MA teachers who were in the West-South Aceh covering 5 regions: Aceh Jaya, West Aceh, Nagan Raya, Southwest Aceh, and South Aceh. The results showed that (1) there were several steps in the learning process carried out by the teachers, i.e. preparing lesson plans, delivering subject consisting of two aspects: firstly varied teaching methods and secondly varied learning media, conducting an assessment of learning outcomes, and performing follow-up efforts through individual approaches to deal with problematic students, and (2) in terms of supporting factors from both parents and society, it showed that some were supportive and some others did not care of their children.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pola pendidikan Islam bagi usia lanjut. Hal ini sangat penting sebab usia lanjut merupakan suatu masa yang sangat krusial karena mulai berkurangnya semua unsur yang ada dalam diri pribadi mereka, baik fisik maupun psikis. Demi mewujudkan kehidupan usia lanjut yang bahagia dan berkualitas, membutuhkan upaya-upaya sinergis dari berbagai pihak. Terdapat bermacam-macam kegiatan yang bisa diselenggarakan untuk menfasilitasi para usia lanjut agar bisa menikmati kehidupannya dengan bahagia, antara lain  melalui pemberian layanan pendidikan sebagai berikut: a) menyelenggarakan layanan pendidikan agama Islam secara berkelompok; b) memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan usia lanjut; c) menyelenggarakan pelatihan keterampilan; d) memberikan modal usaha kecil yang disertai dengan pendampingan; e) mengadakan pengabdian sosial melalui dakwah kepada masyarakat; f) memberikan fasilitas mobil antar jemput bagi para anggota usia lanjut. Kegiatan pada kelompok-kelompok usia lanjut ini sifatnya pilihan sesuai dengan minat, potensi, dan kebutuhan masing-masing. Melalui berbagai kegiatan positif tersebut diharapkan keinginan para usia lanjut meninggal dengan husnul khotimah dapat tercapai. This article aims to explain the pattern of Islamic education for the elderly. This is very important because the elderly is a very crucial period because it began to decrease all the elements that exist in their personal self, both physically and psychologically. In order to realize the life of a happy old age and quality, requires a synergistic efforts of various parties, and also the happy and qualified life in the old age needs the cooperative efforts among all the sides. There are some activities to facilitate the old people enjoying their life happily. Some of them are: a) having the Islamic education service in group; b) giving the health education for the old people; c) having the skill training; d) giving the small capitals with the guidance.; e) having the charity through the dakwah department; f) facilitating the old people by giving the picking-up service car. Through these activities, the old people can choose as they want and need. Abstract

This study identifies the profile of alumni and determines their absorption in the employment; describe their assessment of the organization and quality of services; and describes user ratings of alumni performance. This research includes a qualitative descriptive through a survey approach which includes stages: the development of concepts and instruments; data collection; data analysis and reporting. The subjects of this study were alumni of FUAD IAIN Pekalongan (graduated in 2013-2016). The number of respondents was 88 alumni and 14 alumni users. Primary data were obtained through an online structured questionnaire through Google forms, POS and direct dissemination. Data collection was conducted in May-August 2018. The results are: (1) Alumni profiles have high absorption, i.e. 47% of respondents in working positions, 21% of entrepreneurs, 16% of workers and entrepreneurs and 16% of not working/continuing their studies; (2) Alumni assessment of the organization and quality of services is “good”, but there is still a need to improve aspects of facilities and infrastructure; (3) Alumni users judge the performance of alumni in the “good” category. The alumni competence in terms of aspects of integrity; professionalism; use of information technology, communication; teamwork; and self-development is “good”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menampilkan ekspresi agama yang sesuai dengan sumber autientiknya, baik dalam pemikiran, perbuatan, dan persekutuan (fellowship), yaitu sebuah ekspresi yang memberikan kebaikan yang nyata bagi kehidupan, mampu membebaskan manusia dari kebodohan, kemiskinan, permusuhan dan keterbelakangan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research), termasuk penelitian kualitatif yang datanya berupa dokumen, catatan peristiwa yang berbentuk tulisan, gambar, atau karya monumental yang dilakukan dengan jalan membaca literatur, berupa buku, majalah, jurnal atau data lainnya. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kompleksitas fenomena keberagaman telah memunculkan konflik dan ketegangan kultural antar-etnik karena proses interaksi sosial yang masih rapuh dalam kesadaran tentang pluralitas dan multikulralitas di satu sisi dan fanatisme ajaran agama pada sisi lain, sebagai bentuk dari lemahnya solidaritas. Oleh sebab itu perlu mereposisi dan merevisi sistem pendidikan agama dengan memadukan integralitas kaitan agama antara sakral-transenden dan profan-fenomena sosial atau budaya. Maka, keberadaan pendidikan multikultural dalam kompleksitas keberagamaan menjadi sangat signifikan, karena mampu; 1) menciptakan kesalehan sosial dan bukan hanya kesalehan individual, 2) membentuk peserta didik menjadi masyarakat yang humanis, 3) mencetak individu yang dapat menyerap cakrawala, 4) mencetak peserta didik yang cerdas, kreatif, dan aktif membaca problem realitas di sekitarnya untuk kemudian memberikan alternatif pemecahan, dan 5) menampilkan wajah agama yang damai. The research objective is to show the expression of religion that appropriate with the authentic source, in thougt, deed and fellowship, an expression that gives real kindness for the life, can acquit people from stupidity, poverty, backwardness. This is library research, belong to qualitative research, the data are from document, writing’s event note, pictures or monumental works, for example  books, magazines, journals etc. The research can find that the complexity of the phenomenon of religiosity have led to conflick and cultural tensions between ethnic because of the weakness of social interaction for about plurality and multicultural in one hand and in the other hand about fanatism religious teachings as the form of the solidarity weakness. Thus it is necessary to reposed and revised the system of religion education by blending  intergralittas religiious connection beetween the sacred trancedent and profane social or cultural  phenomenon. So the existence of multicultural education in the complexity of religiousity to be very significant because it can 1) create social piety, not only individually  2) forming students into humane sociaty 3) create individuals who absorb knowledge 4) create students who are intelegent, creative and active reading problem surrounding reality to provide alternative solving and 5) show a religion of peace. Kata kunci: multikulturalitas, kompleksitas keberagamaan, pendidikan multikultural

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran kimia di SMA/MA masih cenderung bersifat konvensional artinya pembelajarannya masih bersifat teoritik dan belum mengembangkan kemampuan siswa secara maksimal. Pembelajaran praktikum dapat memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk menguji dan mengaplikasikan teori dengan menggunakan fasilitas laboratorium maupun di luar laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan CTL berbasis web terhadap hasil belajar materi pokok laju reaksi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di MAN 2 Kudus. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang mendapat perlakuan dengan menggunakan pendekatan CTL berbasis webdan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional dengan media powerpoint. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi, tes, observasi dan angket. Uji hipotesis menggunakan koefisien korelasi biserial dan koefisien determinasi dan diperoleh rb 0,65 dengan besarnya kontribusi 42,11%. Simpulannya adalah penggunaan pendekatan CTL berbasis web berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar materi pokok laju reaksi siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 2 Kudus dengan kontribusi 42,11%. The learning process chemistry in SMA/MA still tends to be a conventional means are still teoritik out the lesson and had yet to develop the ability of students to the maximum. Practical learning can provide an opportunity to students to test and apply the theory by using the facilities of the laboratory and outside the laboratory. This research aims to know the influence of the use of web-based CTL approach towards learning outcomes subject matter the reaction rate. The population in this research is the grade XI IPA in MAN 2 Kudus. Sampling is done using cluster random sampling techniques, namely class XI IPA 4 as a class experiments who got the treatment by using web-based CTL approach and Class XI IPA 5 as a control class get conventional learning with media powerpoint. Method of data collection in this research is a method of documentation, tests, observation and question form. Test hypotheses using the coefficient of biserial correlation and coefficient of determination and acquired rb 0.65 with the amount of contributions 42,11%. The conclusion is the use of web-based CTL influential approach towards learning outcomes subject matter the rate of grade XI IPA MAN 2 Kudus with contributions 42,11%.
Guidance and reinforcement of student value system: the case of Islamic boarding school Yanbu’ul Quran Kudus Muhamad Rozikan

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School of Tahfidh Yanbu'ul Quran for children in Kudus Regency has a unique implementation of guidance and reinforcement of student value system. They organize 6-12 years old children to memorize Quran (30 chapters). The supervision activity has extraordinary challenges and difficulties because their age is commonly the time to play and have fun. Based on above contextual condition, the issues arise namely how guidance and reinforcement of student value system are applied by the teachers (ustadz). In response to such challenges, the research on ustadz activities in supervising students to rapidly memorize Qur'an is conducted. This research uses qualitative approach and interactive model data analysis. To validate the data, several ways are carried out such as finding different information and data sources. Data analysis is applied through three stages (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation followed by analysis, (3) drawing conclusions and analysis. The result shows that there are guidance and reinforcement of student value system applied by ustadz, including: the process of memorizing Qur'an (i.e. planning, implementation, management and method of memorizing Qur'an), the student output (evaluation and further study), and some positive values of teachers, student, and process of handling difficulties in memorizing Qur'an based on religious principles. Keywords: guidance, reinforcement, students’ value system AbstrakPondok pesantren Tahfidh Yanbu’ul Quran anak-anak kabupaten kudus memiliki keunikan dalam pelaksanaan bimbingan dan penguatan sistem nilai santri, mereka membimbing anak usia 6-12 tahun untuk menghafal al-Quran secara utuh (30 Juz), bimbingan tersebut memiliki tantangan dan kesulitan yang luar biasa, padahal secara umum usia tersebut adalah  masa-masa untuk  bermain dan  bersenang-senang. Ada beberapa masalah yang muncul dari latar belakang seperti diatas, yaitu bagaimana bimbingan dan penguatan sistem nilai santri yang diterapkan oleh ustadz. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, dilakukan penelitian terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan ustadz atau pembimbing dalam membimbing santri agar cepat menghafal al-Qur’an. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan analisis data model interaktif, untuk menjamin keabsahan data yang diperoleh, diupayakan dengan cara-cara seperti mencari informasi dan sumber data yang berbeda, analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data diikuti dengan analisis, (3) menarik kesimpulan dan analisis. Hasil penelitian diperoleh menunjukkan adanya bimbingan dan penguatan sistem nilai santri yang diterapkan ustadz/pembimbing, yang meliputi : proses penghafalan al-Qur’an (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengelolaan dan metode menghafal al-Qur’an) dan, output santri (evaluasi dan studi lanjut santri), adanya hal-hal positif yang ada pada ustadz, santri dan proses penanganan kesulitan bimbingan menghafal al-Qur’an yang dilakukan ustadz/pembimbing terhadap santrinya dengan menggunakan pendekatan bimbingan dan penguatan Sistem nilai santri sesuai dengan kaidah agama. Kata kunci: bimbingan, penguatan, sistem nilai santri
