Abstract

The Pekanbaru City North Cross Road is a national road connects the city of Pekanbaru with the northern border of Pekanbaru which is a causeway often damaged. So we need a system to predict the damage that occurs. This research method consists of data collection, data selection, the process using the backpropagation method, analysis, and evaluation. Based on the data obtained the most damage that occurs on this road segment is 60% cracking, 30% rutting damage, and 10% for potholes. Backpropagation are weight initiation, activation, calculating input weights, output bias, and changes in weight. In these stages, the output to be achieved is obtained with the smallest error approach.. The result is that the prediction of damage made there is an increase in the number of crack damage by about 3% with an MSE error value of 0.18535 with Matlab software

Abstract

Universitas Riau (UNRI) Kampus Binawidya memiliki luas lahan hampir 700 Ha yang terdiri dari 10 Fakultas. Dengan kondisi perkerasan jalan yang baik dan jarak antar fakultas yang berjauhan menjadikan karakteristik kecepatan operasional kendaraan di dalam Jalan Lingkungan UNRI menjadi tinggi. Kecepatan kendaraan yang tinggi menimbulkan masalah keselamatan lalu lintas berupa meningkatnya probabilitas kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas. Salah satu rekayasa lalu lintas yang telah diterapkan pada Jalan Lingkungan UNRI adalah dengan dipasangnya Pita Penggaduh (Rumble strips) pada banyak titik di Jalan Lingkungan kampus. Tujuan awal dengan dipasangnya pita penggaduh ini adalah untuk menurunkan kecepatan operasional kendaraan (traffic calming) dan mereduksi kemungkinan terjadinya kecelakaan. Pengumpulan data kecepatan kendaraan dilakukan pada 3 titik rumble strips pada 3 hari kerja yaitu senin, rabu dan jumat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas rumble strips dalam mereduksi kecepatan arus lalu lintas di jalan lingkungan Universitas Riau, yakni pada Jalan Muchtar Lutfi, jalan di samping Musholla Rektorat, dan jalan di depan Faperta. Metode pengambilan data melalui survei kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan sepeda motor (MC) dan mobil penumpang (LV). Analisis perbandingan penurunan kecepatan kendaraan ketika melewati rumble strips menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan tidak ada perubahan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan yang signifikan dipengaruhi oleh rumble strips agar mencapai batas izin kecepatan kendaraan 40 km/jam di Universitas Riau. Fenomena ini muncul karena desain rumblestrips tidak sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Perhubungan Republik Indonesia Nomor PM 82 Tahun 2018 baik dari jumlah dan dimensi. Rekomendasi yang dapat diterapkan adalah menyesuaikan dengan desain ketentuan, dan melengkapi rublestrips dengan rambu peringatan hati hati dan marka lambang.

Abstract

Pavement preservation in urban areas can increase population mobility. So that the road maintenance treatments are not only concentrated on arterial roads. This research aims to determine the road conditions and preservation treatments of flexible pavement on one of the collector roads in Pekanbaru City, that's on Srikandi Street. Types of distress in flexible pavements were obtained by visual survey at the location. The road is divided into 12 sections, where each section is 200 meters apart. Pavement condition assessment method using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI). The results of the pavement condition assessment analysis, the PCI average on Srikandi Street is 72.75 (satisfactory). Pavement preservation activity required on Srikandi Street is routine maintenance on sections 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 10, with the treatment by patching, leveling, crack sealing, and sealcoating; preventive maintenance on sections 2, 5, 9, and 11, with the treatment by nonstructural overlay using a Thin Hot Mix Asphalt (THMA); and pavement rehabilitation in section 12, with the treatment by mill and inlay.

Abstract

Limbah beton adalah material sisa yang dihasilkan selama pembangunan, renovasi atau pembongkaran beton. Limbah tersebut berasal dari pemukiman warga yang digusur atau dilakukan pembongkaran agar lahan bandara menjadi steril. Efek negatif dari pembangunan tersebut, banyaknya limbah beton akibat pembongkaran dan belum adanya inovasi penanggulangan limbah beton tersebut. Oleh karena itu, memanfaatkan limbah beton sebagai bahan pengganti agregat kasar pada pembuatan sampel marshal untuk perencanaan jalan aspal. Sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan bahan dari pendaur ulangan rca beton sangat berarti buat memastikan tipe perkerasan mana yang hendak digunakan dalam riset tersebut. Maka dari itu untuk mengatasi permaslahan tersebut cara yang digunakan dalam riset ini merupakan SNI 06- 2489- 1991 Tata cara Pengujian Kombinasi Aspal Dengan Perlengkapan Marshall. Dengan menggunakan agregat kasar Limbah RCA pada bahan penyusun lapis beton AC-BC mendapatkan hasil stabilitas rata-rata sebesar 4843 kg. Diharapkan hasil tersebut layak digunakan untuk bahan material pengganti agregat kasar pada perkerasan jalan sesuai dengan ketentuan spesifikasi bina marga 2018.

Abstract

The problem of environmental pollution due to the continuous increase in plastic over time is a problem that is being faced worldwide, especially in Indonesia. Plastic is trendy and used in everyday life. One effort to reduce the amount of plastic is to use it as an additive to asphalt mixtures. The plastic in the asphalt mixture is used to coat the aggregate. This study aimed to determine Marshall's characteristics due to adding LDPE (low-density polyethylene) plastic as a substitute for asphalt in the AC-WC mixture. The research was conducted using experimental methods in the laboratory. Various LDPE plastic mixtures used were 0%, 4%, and 6% by weight of asphalt. The results showed that the asphalt mixture added with 4% and 6% LDPE plastic could increase density, flow, VFB, and MQ values. However, for stability values, VIM and VMA asphalt mixtures without LDPE were smaller than asphalt mixtures with 4% and 6% LDPE.

Abstract

It is vital to know the bearing capacity of the soil prior to construction which can be determined from the CBR. CBR is an essential parameter in evaluating the soil bearing capacity. CBR increase can be done through stabilization. Stabilization is carried out chemically by adding an additive, a difa soil stabilizer, into the soil with a specific composition. This study aimed to determine the increase in CBR and decrease in swelling potential in soils added with DSS. The tests carried out were compaction and CBR-soaked conditions with immersion for four days. The composition of the difa soil stabilizer used in this study was 0%; 2.5%; 5%; and 7%. In addition to difa soil stabilizer, 8% cement is also added to the soil. The results obtained from this study were that adding 8% cement and 2.5% and 5% difa soil stabilizer increased the CBR value to 57%. In comparison, adding 8% and 7% difa soil stabilizer reduced the CBR value to 38%.

Abstract

Waste is a problem that often occurs in construction projects. Waste is in the form of activities that utilize resources but do not produce the expected added value (value). Therefore, it is necessary to identify waste, in this research we identify the factors that cause construction waste in the rehabilitation project and improvement of irrigation networks in the working area of Block A, Kapuas Regency. Obtained 9 variables with 43 indicators of factors that cause waste which are the basis for this research. The method used is the severity index method to obtain the dominant and main factors causing waste. The results of this study are the dominant and main factors for the occurrence of waste, namely with codes A1, A6, B2, B3, B6, D4, E4, E6, F6, I12 with a moderate risk category, based on the severity index value, the dominant causative factor risk response is transfer.

Abstract

Puring market is located on riverside of the Kapuas river that operates 24 hours. The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing in 2020 carried out the work to replace khatulistiwa road (Pontianak) and the completion of the work in 2021 was at the Puring market location, when the bridge work was carried out it was certain that there would be quite a high vehicle delay. It is necessary to review the side friction and road performance due to the Puring market activity after the bridge replacement work has been completed. The method used for this research is a descriptive quantitative method with data collection to determine side friction and road performance. Calculations will be made based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The results of the research show that road performance is close to saturation with the resulting value of DS = 0.74. This provides evidence that there is an impact by these market activities on the performance of the Pontianak Katulistiwa road after the operation of the new bridge. The side barrier survey indicates that the area is included in a commercial area with very high roadside activity.

Abstract

The cut nyak dien road in the city of Dumai is a provincial road that is often passed by CPO heavy transport vehicles and public transportation, On this road, traffic jams often occur due to disruption of CPO transport vehicles, where passing trucks cannot go because the roads are close to community areas, so trucks slow down, this affects the flow of traffic and the performance of these roads. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct studies related to the performance of road sections, so that problems that exist in the field can be controlled. The method used to analyze the performance of roads is using PKJI 2014. After the survey results were obtained and the analysis was carried out, the road capacity value was obtained, which was 2404 hours/hour and the highest exsisiting Degree of Saturation was obtained at 0.65, for DJ 5 and 10 years to come, it is known that the highest DJ is 0.77 and 1.03 so that it can be concluded that the s ervice level of the cut nyak dien road in the existing conditions is C indicating a stable flow, but the speed of the vehicle is controlled. Abstract

In the City of Balikpapan, the number of buildings that apply the green building concept and are certified according to the green building certification data still does not exist. Sustainable development at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) is one of the largest in East Kalimantan. The development will have an impact on changes in environmental conditions. The application of the green building concept to the ITK building is expected to reduce the negative impact on environmental change. The focus of this research case study is the ITK Integrated Laboratory Building. The thing being reviewed is the application of green building in the ITK Integrated Laboratory building using the calculation parameters on Greenship for New Buildings Version 1.2. The method that will be used in this research is to evaluate the application of green building in the ITK Integrated Laboratory Building. The evaluation value of the application of green building in the ITK Integrated Laboratory building is 9.08 points or 8.99% which does not meet the requirements for implementing green building in accordance with the greenship 1.2 standard.
