Abstract

On yearly basis, many new students coming from outside the city who plan to continue their education in a new environment or place. Because of this, the need for housing also increases proportionally, especially in the areas that are close to university institutions. But often due to the limited information confused the prospective and new coming students in finding the housing to live on. Therefore, the author intends to develop a boarding house web application that can provide this information and connect the boarding house provider with the boarding house seeker. This is also very flexible as it can be accessed anytime and anywhere as long as it has an internet connection. The author applies the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology during this research process. At the end of the research, a boarding house web application will be produced where the boarding house owner can promote their housing and the boarding house seeker can find the desired housing with all the information listed inside the application. From this research, the author concludes that the boarding house application is needed at this time. And the application of XP methodology is very suitable because of the short period of research and of course because the XP methodology is very structured.

Abstract

Science and technology is experiencing rapid development and progress in the world of education. One of them is technology in learning media. Language recognition in children needs to be improved on the media. The purpose of this research is to build interactive learning media for the introduction of IMAI languages (Indonesian, Mandarin, Arabic, and English) to broaden students' knowledge of languages. With the existence of learning media packaged with animation using Adobe Flash, it can also attract students' interest in learning languages. This learning media uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) development model with 6 stages. The result of this research is an interactive learning media for the introduction of the IMAI language (Indonesian, Mandarin, Arabic, and English) at the elementary level with material aimed at grade 3 elementary school students

Abstract

PT. Sinergi Indo Prima is a company that supports employment services or called outsourcing. Services included in the outsourcing are security guards, administrative staff, factory workers, drivers, sales promoters, and cleaning services. As for looking for prospective workers PT. Sinergi Indo Prima Medan has a problem, namely the system is still manual, data input only uses Microsoft Excel or does not have a professional decision support system in selecting prospective workers who meet the criteria, so that the prospective workers to be distributed are not in accordance with the competencies of the areas of expertise assigned to them. required by companies in need. In this study the author uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) development method, using the C5.0 Algorithm, with the support of Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools using the Java programming language based on Android Studio, Microsoft Visio and Umlet to design the interface. The results of the design of the recruitment selection system for outsourcing prospective workers is an application called AKSIP which is used for the data selection process for prospective workers in each job category, while the results of testing data from 6 job categories using the C5.0 Algorithm achieve a success percentage of accuracy value of 94%

Abstract

Wireless Network is a collection of electronic devices that connect to each other using air devices or frequencies as a data traffic flow. Today, there are many users who use WPA2-PSK or WPA2-EAP as a wireless network security system that aims to prevent people from accessing it without permission. This research uses a wireless penetration testing technique that uses fluxion tools by comparing and analyzing the WPA2 authentication security system with EAP-PSK on a wireless network which aims to determine the vulnerability of a network security system. To carry out penetration testing, the author refers to the "Wireless Network Penetration Testing Methodology." Which consists of intelligence gathering, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, password cracking, and reporting. From this study, it will be concluded that WPA2-PSK is less safe to use because it can be seen in the penetration testing that WPA2-PSK was successfully hacked in an unhide SSID state, while WPA2-EAP was successful in making Web Interfaces but failed to obtain information such as usernames and passwords. If the WPA2-PSK SSID is in a hide state, it will fail the hack, so that both security systems have their own advantages and disadvantages depending on the user's needs.

Abstract

Peran pendidikan sangat penting dalam rangka meningkatkan kecerdasan sumber daya manusia baik secara intelektual, emosional maupun spiritual. Namun seringkali pendidikan tidak berjalan dengan baik karena kurangnya faktor ekonomi yang mengakibatkan banyak anak putus sekolah. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, pemerintah telah membuat sebuah program agar masyarakat yang kurang mampu tetap dapat bersekolah secara gratis. Program ini dinamakan Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP). Komputerisasi pada proses pemberian bantuan ini tak dapat terhindarkan. Agar tidak terjadi kesalahan dalam menentukan penerima bantuan maka diperlukan penerapan data mining menggunakan algoritma Naïve Bayes yang dapat mengklasifikasikan tingkat kelayakan masyarakat dalam menerima bantuan sehingga diperoleh hasil yang lebih akurat dalam menentukan penerima bantuan Program Indonesia Pintar. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan terciptanya sebuah sistem data mining yang mampu mendapatkan hasil yang akurat dalam menentukan penerima Program Indonesia Pintar.

Abstract

Kekurangan gizi atau yang biasa disebut malnutrisi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang cukup sering menimpa balita-balita di Indonesia. Kepedulian orang tua dan aparat desa (dalam hal ini petugas Pusat Pelayanan Kesehatan Masyarakat – PUSKESMAS) untuk memantau gizi balita sangat diperlukan. Penelitian yang dilakukan mencoba untuk melakukan pengelompokan 15 balita di Kab. Rokan Hulu kedalam 2 cluster status gizi. Pengelompokan status gizi balita di Kab. Rokan Hulu menggunakan metode K-Means dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu : penentuan tujuan bisnis, pengumpulan data 15 balita di Kab. Rokan Hulu, pengelompokan status gizi balita ke dalam 2 cluster yaitu cluster 1 - gizi baik; cluster 2 -Gizi Baik, pengelompokan status gizi balita menggunakan algoritma K-Means, dan yang terakhir melakukan pengujian dengan membandingkan hasil pengelompokan algoritma K-means dan Rapid Miner. Abstract

The policy of the Covid-19 Pandemic that requires working from home during the quarantine period has an impact on the productivity of lecturers because work satisfaction is disrupted due to the dual roles performed by lecturers at home. Psychological problems such as boredom, fatigue, and stress that arise during this physical distancing period require an attitude to be able to accept unpleasant situations without excessive panic, namely Qana'ah (contentment) as a psychological model that is deemed appropriate to be a factor in job satisfaction from home to Andalas University (Unand) lecturers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research on qana'ah in work is associated with performance and employee motivation. Thus, job satisfaction is about someone who loves his job, and finds accomplishment and fulfillment in it. It is also a mixture of a person's feelings and emotions about how work affects his life, including in the working from home period like today. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between qana'ah attitudes and job satisfaction from home at Unand lecturers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The planned activities that have been carried out are using a mix method, first a qualitative research method to formulate a measurement construct through open interviews with several religious leaders and Unand lecturers. Second, the quantitative stage for the trial was carried out through an online questionnaire for Unand lecturers. Third, after getting a valid item, a measuring instrument in the form of a scale is compiled and distributed online again. Fourth, making measurement applications on websites based on expert systems, so as to produce job satisfaction measurement products that can be used anytime.

Abstract

Until 2022, Indonesia was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 is a virus that spreads very easily, so the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Covid-19 virus status as a global pandemic. The first case of Covid-19 was detected in Indonesia on March 2, 2020. Since then, many cases have been confirmed positive. The Indonesian government has made efforts to suppress the spread of Covid-19 so that the negative impacts caused by COVID-19 can be controlled, including the Covid-19 vaccination program which is divided into several stages, namely the administration of the Covid-19 vaccine, dose one, dose two, and the booster vaccine. However, the COVID-19 vaccination program for the community has raised various opinions in the social media universe, especially Twitter. Opinions expressed tend to be polarized into sentiments of support and rejection. For this reason, this study aims to determine the polarization of public opinion about the Covid-19 vaccination program using the Naive Bayes algorithm. The process of opinion polarization analysis includes collecting data via Twitter using the RapidMiner tools, then preprocessing the data by means of case folding, tokenizing, filtering and stemming. The last step is to classify public opinion using the Naive Bayes algorithm. This study resulted in polarization of public opinion including tweets of positive sentiment by 67%, tweets of neutral sentiment 9% and tweets of negative sentiment 32%. Also obtained the accuracy and recall rates of 88% and 97%.
