Abstract

There are already many cat-loving communities in Indonesia, one of which is in the city of Pekanbaru. Most cat lovers in the community are still unaware of the breeds of cats they keep. Departing from these problems, an expert system was created to identify cat breeds to help cat lovers know exactly the breed of cats being kept. The system is made to apply a frame-based method for the representation of its knowledge, the method is applied to obtain cat breed results based on physical characteristics owned and firebase as a place to store data. Data collection in the form of literature research, interviews and observations. The research process uses quantitative methods by conducting tests. The cat breed expert system was tested using black box testing successfully and the User Accaptance Test (UAT) was carried out by obtaining an average score of 88.06% from 58 cat lovers. This Expert System is expected to help cat lovers know exactly the breed of cats being kept.

Abstract

Jaringan komputer tentunya sangat dibutuhkan oleh sebuah institusi maupun perusahaan untuk dapat melakukan pertukaran data maupun mengerjakan pekerjaan dengan koneksi internet, maka bandwidth perlu diatur untuk kerja perusahaan, karena dengan adanya sebuah internet maka penyebaran data menjadi efisien dan informasi menjadi semakin luas. Akan tetapi, realitanya jaringan internet pada perusahaan tidak selalu memberikan akses internet yang baik ketika user bekerja dengan internet. Tujuan penelitian ini menyelesaikan masalah pada jaringan di PT. Eka Bogainti; Penggunaan bandwitdth yang tidak tepat, mengganggu proses keberlangsungan bisnis perusahaan, belum adanya management bandwidth sehingga pembagian bandwidth tidak merata pada semua client. Metode membagi dan menyebarkan bandwidth secara bertingkat Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) yang diterapkan berjalan lancar dan dapat meminimalisasi terjadinya bandwidth lebih pada pengguna jaringan yang berakibat down pada jaringan. Hasil nya kegiatan operasional perusahaan dapat tetap berjalan lancar. Administrator jaringan dapat menentukan prioritas pengguna jaringan internet pada perusahaan sehingga management bandwidth lebih teratur. Diperlukan perusahaan meng-Upgrade perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunak dengan spesifikasi update untuk mengimbangi jaringan yang telah diatur menjadi sesuai dengan kebutuhan sehingga meningkatkan kualitas kerja para karyawan.

Abstract

Rista Lamtama Engineering is a Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper contractor company engaged in project services. Consisting of 136 employees, the processing of overtime attendance data for the company Rista Lamtama Engineering is still carried out conventionally, namely recapping the overtime attendance data one by one and then processing it using Microsoft Excel. This method is not efficient and effective in terms of time and effort. Employees who work overtime in the field experience difficulties in attending to the office. An attendance system like this creates fraud when filling in attendance in the form of entrusted absences, even though they don't come overtime, causing misunderstandings between employees and the office and can be detrimental to PT. Overcoming this problem, an attendance application was created by utilizing cloud computing with software as a service (SaaS) services. The existence of cloud computing technology allows data access from anywhere and using a fixed or mobile device. The system built can help the company Rista Lamtama Engineering in managing employee overtime data, a system created using cloud computing is also more effective in storing data on employees who work overtime and reduces employee fraud in absenteeism overtime because of the location when employees attend attendance can be seen. The system built for Android Studio-based employee overtime attendance applications. All available features are running well and judging from the tests that have been carried out with compatibility testing, blackbox testing,and usability testing, it can be concluded that the system built has met the needs of employees of PT. Rista Lamtama Engineering, for its own cloud computing, utilizes the firebase database firestore where all employee data that has performed overtime attendance has been successfully stored in the firebase database firestore.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the current era is growing rapidly, which is indicated by the emergence of many innovative programs in personal information services. One of the contenders for such information is SIMPEG, an application from Sebelas Maret University. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of information security to address the aspects of confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. This application ensures the security of user's personal information and employee data. The results of this study are that employees are required to register an account using an email that has been registered with SSO. Users of this application are lecturers and education staff including general users and SIMPEG operators. The SIMPEG application also guarantees the confidentiality of each employee's personal data and can only be seen by Sebelas Maret University internal employees. The purpose of registering an account through NIP/NIK and employee staff email is with the aim of preventing actions that can harm the institution. One of the rules for using this application is that it is forbidden to update, copy and delete data unless the SIMPEG operator is responsible for updating the data.

Abstract

The design of interaction and user interfaces is an element of a digital or computer-based information system. The development of user interface designs can attract users to feel comfortable in conducting online consulting activities. The purpose of this study is to find out the user's needs as a whole in the design of user interactions on the Elma mobile application with the GOMS model. The performance of the GOMS model is a systematic interrelated method that is interrelated with goals, and actions from the operator using the last method and process, namely selection that can reflect the purpose of the user interface design analysis in the application. Applying the GOMS method to the user interface design, it can be said that the application development must pay attention to the user's needs thoroughly, and the ease of user access by the application of the analysis using the "8 Golden Rules Interface" user interface design process. These rules make it easier for researchers as a whole to accommodate user needs, as well as share information on the display of the Ema application. The purpose of this study is to analyze the utilization of the Elma application interface design to increase user comfort in using the Elma application. The results of this study indicate that making an application must pay attention to the overall needs of the user, ease of access for users according to the application of analysis using the "8 Golden Rules Interface" user interface design process.

Abstract

A livable city is a development idea that focuses on the escalation of quality of life and conflict management by integrating the value of amenities and economic viability in urban design. A study conducted by the Indonesia Association of Planners said Pekanbaru City was one the unlivable city in Indonesia in 2017, or it only achieved 57,8% and was in sixth place. This research aims to analyze the components of a livable city and provide a strategy to develop a livable city in Pekanbaru. There are 29 criteria will be examined, and in-depth interviews with experts who completely know about the livable city concepts. The analytical hierarchy process is applied to analyze the livable city components and provide the optimum strategy to enhance the livable city level. The result showed that the livable city index had improved by 60% since 2017 or increased by 2,2% over the past three years. However, the important indicators that need to be raised were cleanliness (40%), economic (46%), pedestrians (44%), and accessibility (46%). Meanwhile, urban revitalization, maintenance of public facilities, open space, security and social, economic facilities, and sanitation management have become a major focus to make Pekanbaru a livable city.

Abstract

SR12 Herbal Perkasa Main Distributor Bekasi is a business engaged in the field of beauty. Having an average turnover of 120 million per month, the management of online sales which are operated through Microsoft Excel is not optimal so that several obstacles are found in the running business processes. For example, forgetting to record customer orders, late processing orders via Whatsapp, typing in wrong addresses and goods which result in wrong shipments. Thus, it’s necessary to have an information system to assist the running of business processes within the company. The research method used is SDLC. The author uses the PHP programming language, Bootstrap framework, MySQL database server, and Sublime text editor software. This information system can facilitate the process of online sales transactions because customers can access and make purchases in real time, reports are generated more accurately so that sales records become more organized, effective and efficient.

Abstract

One of the Raudhatul Athfals chosen by parents to enroll their children in schools within the context of playgroups overseen by the Sikka District's ministry of religion is RA Plus Rabbani. However, this school hasn't made use of the information system as a tool for system management, particularly when it comes to new student registration. A yearly administrative procedure is the registration of new students, and if the implementation is still done the old-fashioned way, it will affect how inefficient the process is. As a result, coordinating the registration of new students requires the use of a computerized system. The plan will be to use the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method to create a web-based information system. Flowcharts and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) are supporting tools used in system design, together with Entity Relationship Diagrams (RAD) for database design analysis and Figma for system interface design study. The results of the research show that RAD can support system development in a shorter time compared to other methods such as waterfall, SDLC, and prototype. Based on the discussion, it is concluded that the design of the system created can make it easier for users to use the system, because the design made is more attractive and easy to understand for various groups.

Abstract

Timely graduation in Higher Education is the expectation of students. One of the requirements to graduate in their studies, students must take the final stage, namely completing the final project or thesis. But the time of graduation is not always able to predict when college students will graduate. Many factors cause student graduation such as GPA, credits, employment status and so on. Seeing this, it is important to have a method that can predict student graduation, but some universities do not have their own method to be able to estimate student graduation whether the student can graduate on time or not. To overcome this, a model is needed to be able to predict student graduation. In this study, an analysis of 3 methods was carried out, namely Naive Bayes, K-NN and Neural Network. The purpose of this study is to find out which method is more appropriate to use in predicting graduation. In this study, a comparison was also made between the three methods, and the best method was obtained, namely the K-NN method with an accuracy value of 89%.

Abstract

Dalam peningkatan pelayanan pada masa pandemi PT. Digital Trans Gemilang melakukan ekspansi melalui proses digitalisasi E-Service dalam reservasi dan pelayanan E-Ticketing transpotasi darat kepada pelanggan/konsumen. Digitalisasi reservasi tiket dan pelayanan travel dirancang berbasis website dengan nama Velotow. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam merancang sistem informasi reservasi tiket Velotow berbasis E-Service yaitu Sistem Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dimana SDLC mempunyai kerangka penelitian yang sesuai dengan sistem informasi yang akan dirancang. Sistem informasi velotow juga menggunakan Unified Modelling Language (UML) untuk memudahkan dalam proses aliran data dan informasi reservasi tiket berbasis E-Service. Adapun Velotow merupakan aplikasi Marketplace penjualan tiket tranportasi darat secara online menggunakan platform digital berbasis web dimana velotow melayani reservasi E-Ticketing konsumen dengan beberapa armada yang tergabung dalam velotow yang melayani rute Riau – Sumatera Barat. Velotow dirancang dengan framework Laravel berbasis PHP dan MySQL dengan konsep friendly user interface dengan tujuan untuk memudahkan pelanggan/konsumen dalam proses reservasi tiket travel. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah Produk dalam bentuk aplikasi web velotow.com dimana marketplace reservasi tiket travel secara elektronik yang menghubungkan antara agen Travel dan Calon Pelanggan. E-service dalam reservasi tiket ini membantu armada dan agen dalam wilayah Provinsi Riau dan Sumatera Barat dalam memasarkan jasa transportasi darat. dan Melalui aplikasi velotow mampu meningkatkan sumber pendapatan para armada travel kendati pun dalam masa pandemi.
