Abstract

The level of interest in mountain climbing activities has increased significantly, this is inseparable from the development of social media technology which exposes the charm of each mountain itself, so as to attract interest in climbing from various groups, both beginners and experienced. Because each climber has their own characteristics and needs and each mountain also has its own character, so that it will affect each climbing destination, prospective climbers must be able to determine which mountain will be chosen as the best mountain in Central Java province to be chosen. as a climbing location. This research uses secondary data, the alternative to be compared is a list of mountains in Central Java province with several criteria to be used. The method for processing data is the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method is used to find the weighted sum and rating of each alternative and all attributes. The results of this study can be a reference for climbers in determining the best mountain to be used as a climbing location in Central Java province.

Abstract

Many developing UMKM require the application of technology in their business management processes. One of these UMKM is the UMKM Kantin Tante in Surabaya. This UMKM has 7 branches/stands located in several malls or shopping places in Surabaya. The payroll process for this UMKM still uses a manual process which is carried out at the end of every month by the UMKM’s owner. The payroll process starts from collecting employee data, recording attendance, calculating salaries, to printing employee pay slips. The existing process allows for errors in recording employee attendance data, difficulties in the process of searching for employee data and difficulties in making final reports or recaps. Therefore, we need an application that can help with the employee payroll process for UMKM. For application creation needs, this research utilizes the Waterfall SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method to obtain requirements specifications and smooth the system design process. This application can make it easier for owners to manage employee data, salaries, allowances, and tax deductions. Features such as automatic salary calculation based on specified parameters, creating accurate payroll reports, and guaranteed data security, make this application a tool that can help companies optimize the payroll process. In addition, by using web technology, this application can be accessed from various devices and locations, allowing more flexible access and convenience in use. This application has been tested using BlackBox Testing with the result that all functionalities can run well. Meanwhile, for testing using SUS, the value is 77.1 where users can accept this application according to user needs.

Abstract

Education has an important role in ensuring the survival of the nation and state, as well as improving the quality of human resources to participate in national development. Today's developing technology, including in the field of education, can make it easier for students to learn new things and get information, including about scholarship programs. However, the security of scholarship recipient data needs to be considered so that it is not easily accessed by unauthorized people. Cryptography can be an appropriate approach to secure such data. This research aims to secure Grant Me application user information using the AES algorithm to encrypt the username and password of scholarship recipients and scholarship providers. The method used is experimental testing of the system to be built using the AES algorithm. The results showed that the application of the AES algorithm with a key value of 256 bytes proved that user login information was not easy to know from either the application owner or a third party. With the application of AES as a security system, it can be concluded that the application becomes more secure from hacker interference.

Abstract

IT Infrastructure is one of the core components of a business’ scalability and reliability, thus having an efficient way on managing the IT Infrastructure would be one of the core decisions for a business. IT Infrastructure itself has evolved throughout the years, with the rise of virtualization technology, containerization became more relevant as ever, one such example is Containerization Infrastructure, an IT Infrastructure that uses Containerization as its backbone. With the push of the technology, a new way of managing Containerization Infrastructure efficiently is needed. There are multiple researches regarding the implementation of GitOps already, but none of them explained the connection between GitOps and Containerized Infrastructure, this paper is intended to discuss the connection by implementing GitOps in a Containerized infrastructure. This resulted in a quite steep learning curve and preparation time, but in the end all the changes and deployment of the application would be done automatically, this resulted in maximized focus on the development of the application rather than reflecting the changes later on. Other than that, GitOps itself is not limited to Containerized Infrastructure, although since GitOps is designed with virtualization in mind, theoretically, the efficiency would be reduced if it’s implemented in other kind of IT Infrastructure

Abstract

The SMKN 40 Jakarta library had service and administrative processing problems, namely difficulty reading manual administrative data collection writing, library members lack information on book stock availability, and delays in returning books. Therefore, this researched aims to develop a web-based library information system used SLiMS and adding notification features with WhatsApp gateway to whacenter api endpoint. This researched used Rapid Application Development for software development method. Based on the results of system testing carried out used Black Box State Transition Testing, it was 100% successful meaning that website could function properly. Testing continued with System Usability Scale (SUS) from 75 student respondents, teachers and librarians which resulted in a score of 62,3. A valued of 62,3 was interpreted as meaning that system had marginally low Acceptability Ranges, Grade Scale D, and Adjective Ratings "GOOD". It could been concluded that website was acceptable to users and had good quality.

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the feelings of ChatGPT users based on the given rating, using lexicon methods to classify feelings in user comments without requiring prior class labels. This lexicon method uses the vader lexicon dictionary to calculate the sentimental polarity of words in comments. The comment data set is obtained from an external source, namely the Kaggle data set, which did not have a previous sentiment label. The lexicon model is applied as an unsupervised learning approach to understanding the expression of user sentiment. The comments in the dataset are processed and analyzed using a lexicon model. The results of this sentimental analysis show that the lexicon method produces comments that tend to be positive or negative for the rating range one to five. Nonetheless, research findings suggest that some aspects of sentiment may not be accurately detected by this method. Nevertheless, this sentiment analysis provides an important basis for further understanding of the interaction between users and applications. These results can be the basis for more in-depth research involving more sophisticated approaches to sentiment analysis.

Abstract

A good, creative, and interesting learning media can increase students’ interest in learning. A good learning media can also make easier for teacher to deliver material to students. Unfortunately, in the Basic Principles of Animation material in class XI Multimedia SMKN 40 Jakarta, students have difficulty accepting and understanding the material because the learning media is less attractive and the delivery is monotonous by teacher. To overcome this problem, the development of learning media in the form of Android-based applications for the Basic Principles of Animation material uses the Luther-Sutopo method which produces an Android-based application which is expected to help students understand the material. Product feasibility testing was carried out by material experts with a feasibility level of 100% with the feasibility category "Very Eligible", testing by media experts with a feasibility level of 98.7% with the eligibility category "Very Eligible", and testing by respondents with a feasibility level of 93.4% with “Very Eligible” category of eligibility. The developed Android-based application can be stated to be very suitable for use as a learning media to help students class XI Multimedia SMKN 40 Jakarta receiving and understanding the Basic Principles of Animation material.

Abstract

Employee attendance is one of the most crucial factors for an institution. There are various ways to address issues within an employee attendance system, and one of them is leveraging geolocation technology. Several studies investigate the controversies surrounding potential fraud and employee privacy threats when using geolocation access for attendance recording. Therefore, the system built in this research will prioritize utilizing geolocation access where location data during check-ins won’t be stored in the system, ensuring employee privacy remains intact. Moreover, this system will be designed to prevent employee fraud in manipulating locations. In its design, the system is constructed using the NEXT.JS framework and MySql as its database. Additionally, the research sample is drawn from two companies using an accidental sampling method as a data source. The result of this research is an attendance information system with web-based geolocation access that supports the attendance monitoring process within an institution. The development model used in this research is the RAD model, followed by using UML to document the system. Based on the final results obtained, a conclusion is drawn that this attendance system operates effectively, as evidenced by the conducted tests.

through hard copies or manual records, requiring patients to prepare their data again for future medical visits. The absence of a mobile-based patient information system hinders public access to information due to its limited responsiveness. Therefore, a mobile-based patient information system is essential to optimize the quality of healthcare services by providing patients with their medical history and upcoming appointments for outpatient care. This research aims to create an online application for the registration process of outpatient and inpatient patients at RSUD, accessible through mobile devices, and to comprehend the existing patient visitation system at the hospital. The Waterfall methodology is employed for the development of the application in the patient information system of RSUD Sunan Kalijaga Demak. Observations and interviews serve as data collection methods. System testing is conducted using black box and Acceptance Testing involving potential user respondents to ensure the application functions effectively. The final outcome of this study is a mobile-based patient information system capable of managing patient data and medical records, thereby informing patients about their treatment history and upcoming appointments for outpatient care at RSUD Sunan Kalijaga Demak. Moreover, the user acceptance rate reaches an average of 84% based on the development of this patient information system.

institutions. This research aims to develop a web-based Faculty Information System at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha. This system is designed to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in managing faculty data, research, and community service. Currently, data management relies on Microsoft Excel, which is susceptible to data loss and damage. In developing this system, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) as the primary architecture are employed. The Model is responsible for providing and manipulating data from the database, the View displays information to the user, and the Controller manages tasks performed by the Model and View. With the existence of this system, it is expected to provide a centralized solution for faculty data management, reduce the risk of data loss, and facilitate information control. The results of this research include the development of an application that can improve the efficiency of faculty data management at Politeknik Piksi Ganesha. The conclusion of this research highlights the positive potential of the information system that can significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of educational services. The implementation of this Faculty Information System is expected to support the improvement of the faculty information management process in this institution.
