Abstract

This research aims to fill the knowledge gap and comprehensively analyze the impact of photographic techniques on brand image in product advertising. Illumination, motion effects, focus and sharpness, as well as composition, have been identified as key factors that significantly influence how consumers perceive and accept brands through advertising media. The quantitative research method, specifically simple random sampling and causal-comparative were used in this study to collect and analyze data from a number of respondents involved in the research. The carefully conducted and valid data analysis using SPSS 26 software confirms that photographic techniques have a significantly positive impact on brand image in product advertising. This research has highly relevant implications for marketing and advertising practitioners seeking to enhance the effectiveness of their product advertising. With a deeper understanding of how photographic techniques influence brand image, practitioners can design more captivating and influential advertisements, thus shaping consumer perceptions more effectively. This study provides a crucial contribution to understanding the essential role of photography in shaping brand image, which is now more relevant than ever in an era of marketing that is increasingly focused on visual elements and digital media.

Abstract

This research addresses the design of hardware to assist individuals with hearing loss. The system consists of a transmitter mounted on a door and a receiver worn on the wrist. The user can connect the device by pressing a button on the wristband, and the transmitter sends a command signal to the receiver. The receiver activates the vibrator motor, which produces vibrations for 2 seconds. The communication range is within a radius of several hundred meters under optimal conditions, using common and less congested radio frequencies. The RF module used in the system operates at a frequency of 433MHz and uses Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) modulation. The system uses a flashing LED to indicate the command signal. The LED blinks for a specific duration, and the blinking pattern can be controlled. The system also includes a data reception function, where received data is checked for specific messages and processed accordingly.

Abstract

Kredivo adalah aplikasi kredit instan yang memberikan kemudahan untuk beli sekarang dan bayar nanti. Aplikasi ini juga dikenal dengan kartu kredit digital dimana peminjam dapat menggunakannya untuk belanja cicilan online. Selain digunakan untuk keperluan berbelanja, peminjam juga dapat mencairkan dalam bentuk uang tunai. Namun, tidak semua penggunanya merasa puas dengan pelayanan tersebut, terdapat banyak komentar yang salah satunya disampaikan melalui fitur ulasan aplikasi kredivo pada google play store. Oleh sebab itu, pada penelitian ini peneliti mencoba melakukan analisis sentimen review aplikasi kredivo pada google play store menggunakan algoritma support vector machine. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil analisis sentimen dengan mengklasifikasikan review menjadi positif atau negatif serta melihat seberapa tinggi nilai akurasi yang dihasilkan algoritma support vector machine. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap 10000 data review pengguna aplikasi kredivo pada google play store dengan pembagian data training dan testing 80:20, didapat bahwa review yang mengandung sentimen positif sebanyak 59% dan mengandung sentimen negatif sebanyak 41%. Evaluasi hasil klasifikasi dengan pengujian confusion matrix diperoleh nilai akurasi sebesar 87%, nilai precision sebesar 84%, nilai recall sebesar 85%, dan nilai f1 score sebesar 85%.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Modern Islam Assalaam introduced the IKMAS application to modernize the alumni system with around 10,000 graduates. However, the total downloads of this app only reached just over 1 million user downloads on the Google Play Store. Some reviews highlighted the app's lack of attractiveness and neatness, which made it inconvenient, especially due to inadequate navigation. Evaluating the interface design (UI) of the IKMAS app is an effort to improve the app's performance and user experience (UX). This research aims to align the interface design (UI) with user needs based on user experience (UX). The evaluation was conducted using design thinking method, with usability testing using System Usability Scale (SUS) and Single Ease Question (SEQ). The average result of testing with SUS that is considered good is ≥ 68. Before the design improvement, the average SUS score was 65. After UI/UX improvement with design thinking method, the average SUS value increased to 81.5 and SEQ reached 95%.

Abstract

Puberty in teenage girls is usually marked by menarche or first menstruation. Menstruation is a process of shedding of the lining of the uterine wall. There are several factors that cause abnormal menstrual cycles such as stress, nutritional problems, hormonal disorders and also chronic diseases. Personal hygiene during menstruation is also important for women. If a woman's personal hygiene is not maintained properly, it is likely that infections will occur in the reproductive organs. Most young women feel embarrassed to consult a doctor if they experience complaints regarding the health of their reproductive organs and reproductive organ problems. By designing a 2D animated video about menstruation, the aim is to provide information and insight to young women. The method that will be used for data collection is by interviewing experts in the field and the method used in designing 2D animated videos is the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method which includes several stages, namely concept, design, data collection, creation, testing, and distribution. Then the final results of the animated video will be tested with experts in the field of female reproductive organs. In designing 2D animation, you will use the applications Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition, Adobe Animate, and Adobe After Effects. The result of this research is a 2D animated video entitled "What is Menstruation?" as a medium of information and insight.

Abstract

Facing the complex dynamics of freshman enrollment, the k-means clustering method was introduced as the main approach. The focus is on Abdurrab University, where various attributes of prospective students are investigated, including gender, parental education, parental income, hometown, province, age, and choice of study program. With the k-means clustering algorithm, the purpose of the study is to uncover the underlying patterns of preferences and characteristics of new student groups. The results of this study provide in-depth insight into the factors that influence the decision to admit new students in the campus environment of Abdurrab University. In this study Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) was used as a method to determine the optimal number of clusters, the lowest DBI value was 1.5 which occurred in 8 clusters. This shows that 8 clusters is the optimal number of clusters for data that has been transformed and is ready for k-means clustering. After carrying out the clustering process with the K-Means method which involves the formation of 8 clusters, to show patterns and insights from the clustering results, there are two ways used in this study, first make a heatmap of the correlation of features displayed, information can be obtained about the relationship between variables. The correlation value ranges from -0.4 to 1.0 where positive values indicate a positive correlation and negative values indicate a negative correlation. A positive correlation means that if the value of one variable increases, then the value of the other variable also tends to increase. Conversely, negative correlation means that if the value of one variable increases, then the value of the other variable tends to decrease.

Abstract

Saat ini banyak universitas telah menggunakan sistem Informasi web untuk menyampaikan Informasi. Namun, masih sering terjadi kendala yang dialami mahasiswa dan calon mahasiswa yaitu sistem yang masih memberikan Informasi secara general, kesulitan dalam mencari informasi terkait perkuliahan, serta unit atau kontak admin yang diperlukan untuk menangani kendala yang dihadapi calon mahasiswa baru , baik di jam kerja dan di luar jam kerja. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian prototipe chatbot ini menggunakan sebuah platform berupa dialogflow dan landbot yang akan digunakan yaitu untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi dan mempermudah para civitas akademik mendapatkan informasi. Adapun tahapan dalam pengembangan aplikasi chatbot ini yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain, membuat prototipe, evaluasi dan rilis aplikasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan chatbot ini yaitu Natural Language Processing (NLP).Proses pemberian pengetahuan dalam chatbot ini mencakup data terkait Informasi yang dibutuhkan sehingga apa yang ditanamkan dalam dialogflow dan landbot berguna untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konteks dan makna pertanyaan. Dalam hal ini pula, pelatihan model machine learning digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemrosesan bahasa alami landbot. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan aplikasi ini berjalan 100% dengan baik. Dalam hal ini menunjukan bahwa, chatbot ini mampu menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diberikan, serta dapat mengenali pengetahuan yang telah diberikan sebelumnya.

Abstract

The compatibility of ESP32 microcontrollers in Internet of Things (IoT) implementations covers almost all fields. Has the potential to monitor blood sugar levels non-invasively with the presence of Fotodioda Sensors and Infared LED lights and fingers as measurement objects without the need to injure patients or invasively in the aim to improve public health services, especially in an effort to prevent diabetes mellitus. ESP32 microcontroller also has compatibility in the use of Blynk which can be used to be a medium to monitor blood sugar levels and can be displayed on a computer monitor or smartphone by opening Blynk private, also with the utilization of Light intensity using fotodioda sensors and LED lights will be designed Non-Invasive Blood Sugar Measuring Instruments Using Prototyping Methods by utilizing ESP32 and Blynk and conducted experiments to see performance and comparison of accuracy with Glucometers in general and utilization in applications in the Health sector. In the prototype experiment of the Blood Glucose Measurement Device, the light absorption calculation produced by the combination of photodiode sensors and LED lamps can be utilized for measuring blood glucose levels without the need for direct blood sampling from the user. The implementation is straightforward and includes a monitoring system using Blynk, facilitating the process of blood glucose monitoring via both smartphones and users' computers. The overall accuracy result of the non-invasive blood glucose measurement device prototype reached 95% based on multiple conducted experiments.

Abstract

Promosi kenaikan jabatan bagi perusahaan merupakan rutinitas dan sebagai salah satu bentuk penghargaan kemampuan karyawan selama bekerja. Selama ini promosi jabatan di PT. XYZ masih berdasarkan ikatan keluarga, tingkat pendidikan dan kedekatan personal karyawan dengan pimpinan. Sering sekali terjadi permasalahan dalam perekrutan promosi jabatan yang berakibat terjadinya kecemburuan diantara karyawan. Masih adanya sikap like dislike yang memungkinkan karyawan yang memiliki kompetensi merasa tidak dihargai. Belum adanya sistem yang mengakomodir keputusan promosi jabatan sehingga penilaian promosi jabatan belum sesuai dengan kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh karyawan termasuk tanggung jawab, disiplin, kerjasama dan perilaku/atitude karyawan. Metode yang digunakan Analytical Hierarcy Proses (AHP) dimana keputusan diambil berdasarkan kriteria dan alternatif yang telah ditentukan. Dilakukan proses Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dalam proses penilaian karyawan yang dipromosikan jabatannya. Sistem ini dibuat untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada dan membantu pimpinan dalam menentukan keputusan promosi jabatan agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan berdasarkan tanggung jawab, disiplin, kerjasama dan perilaku atau attitude karyawan.

Abstract

Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder experienced by someone due to surprising, scary, or dangerous events they had. Unfortunately, there is minimal knowledge about this disorder among Indonesian people so that many of them do not know what symptoms they have experienced and the effects from the disorder. The aim of this study is to build an expert system for early diagnose of this PTSD. Forward chaining method is utilized within the expert system to collect the symptoms experienced by users, processing them based on knowledge rules until a decision or conclusion achieved. The expert system was developed following the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) and the built system usability level was measured by using the USE questionnaire. The system was then tested together with an expert that showed the agreement level of the system with the expert. From the Usability level measurement, the system got a score of 86.67% which show the system is useful for early diagnose of PTSD. Hopefully, this expert system could become a solution in giving ease of accessibility for people to get an early diagnose result of PTSD.
