Abstract

Skin aging is a condition in which cell and tissue changes occur due to mechanism abnormalities and a decrease in function of a tissue which can be triggered by intrinsic or extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factor is an aging process which originates from the body of an individual itself while extrinsic factor is an aging process caused by factors from the outside, such as excessive exposure to the UV light, smoking, or poor nutrition. Skin rejuvenation therapy, hopefully, would be able to restore or even slow down the aging process itself. Abstract

Background, stunting was a chronic malnutrition problem that is caused by a lack of nutrition in a long time due to food that is not in accordance with nutritional needs. The purpose was to prove the development of a health promotion model and social capital in improving the behavior of mothers of to toddlers in stunting prevention. Method, phase 1 were cross sectional, with multistage sampling, size 300 people. Exogenous variables were health promotion model and social capital, endogenous variables: stunting prevention behavior. Phase 2 were quasy experiment, sample size 100 people were 2 groups: intervention and control. Data analysis: univariate and multivariate: CFA and SEM and T Test. Results and discussion: phase 1 were significant value of T Value> 1.96, namely prior related behavior, personal factor, perceived self efficacy, Activity Related Affect.. Abstract

The Humanistic Network for Science and Technology (HNST) has been established in order to help advance science and technology, through scientific activities. After reaching the age of 2 years, HNST has achieved significant developments in carrying out its ambition to actively participate in advancing science and technology and on an international scale. Abstract

Background: Psychiatric assistance is required in the integrated handling of physical health disorders in the field of other disciplines known as CLP. A collaborative approach to the field of psychiatry with other scientific disciplines in accordance with WHO health criteria that includes physical and mental health for improving health and quality of life. Case presentation: A boy, 8 years, was consulted from the Ophthalmology Department with Right eye cataract juvenile, and left eye ptisis bulbi to give pre-operative psychological assistance for eye assessment and diagnostics. Patient also complained the blurred vision since last year and cannot see anything since 10 months ago. The current condition represents the patient cannot speak, often screams, likes to injure his head and scratch his face. Patients treated in the pediatric’s ward with global developmental delay. Patients were also consulted to the child psychiatry section with childhood autism, audiology, nutrition and metabolic diseases of children, pediatric neurology, and finally collaboration with the Surabaya City Health Office for a follow-up management plan. Conclusions: Child psychiatrist as a liaison, interacting with multidisciplinary medical or rehabilitation teams, families, schools, community and local city government are beneficial in the management of child disorders and improving family wellbeing. Abstract

Contraceptive use is one way to reduce population growth rates. This research is aim to measure the effect of health center service and husband role on contraception use in makassar city. This research is done at the Tamalanrea Health Center and Kassi-Kassi Health Center, Makassar Regency. The research design used was a cross sectional study. Research the sample was 178 people who were selected using the startified random sampling technique. Data analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. The result shows that public health center services that are related to use of contraception in makassar city are the choice of contraception (p-value = 0.001), information provided (p-value = 0,000), officer technical ability (p-value = 0,000) and husband-communication wife p-value = 0.007). Information provided is the most influential variable on contraceptive use in the city of makassar with a wald value (42,958) Keywords: contraception; family planning; health center services; husband’s role

Abstract

Anemia is a nutritional problem that is relatively difficult to overcome. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the events of Anemia and students achievement index in the Banda Aceh Midwifery program. The research design was a cross-sectional study, involving 163 participants, selected using simple random sampling. To get the data needed, this quantitative study used questionnaires, in-depth interviews and a hemoglobin device Quick-Check Set (Easy Touch) Testing System. Data were analyzed using Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the incidence of anemia and the achievement index (p-value = 0.006). The incidence of anemia directly affects the students learning achievement indicating with the decreased immune system so it is susceptible to disease, decreases physical ability, learning activities thereby reducing their learning performance. Abstract

Myalgia was a muscle pain associated with overused muscles, get excessive load, and muscle injury due to sports or daily activities. According to WHO, patients with Myalgia in Indonesia reach 81% of the population, only 24% go to the doctor, while 71% tend to consume over-the-counter painkillers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of a combination of ergonomic exercise therapy and deep breathing relaxation to decrease muscle pain (myalgia) in unskilled workers (dock laborers) in Bima Dock. The research was Quasy Experimental design. The sample of this study are dock laborers and found 44 people as samples. The analysis in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis with 95% confidence interval or p value of 
