Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the influence of social, personal, and psychological factors towards purchase decision of JKT48 Theater’s Tickets. Data were collected from 126 fans of JKT48 in DKI Jakarta who have bought tickets three times or more. The result of this research shows that psychological factors significantly influence the purchase decision. Brand love moderates the relationship of all independent variables with the dependent variables. The existence of brand love as a moderating variable will weaken the influence of social factors on purchasing decisions. The implications of this research can be a reference for the management team in formulating JKT48 Theater’s Tickets sales strategy related to social, personal, and psychological factors. Abstract

The development of the internet made the brand community move to online activities by using a social media chat group platform. This study aims to examine the relationship between social networking and brand trust on brand loyalty in the online brand community. Data were collected through a questionnaire of 150 respondents. Through SEM analysis (PLS), the results show that social networking has a positive effect on brand trust and trust mediates the relationship between social networking and brand. This finding implies that the brand community must pay attention to social networking activities that can increase brand trust and brand loyalty. Companies and communities need to think about how to develop strong relationships and bonds between members so that members feel the value of the brand and build a strong commitment with the brand. Abstract

The aim of this study is to find the relationship between market structure and performance of banking industry in Indonesia. Structure Conduct Performance Hypothesis and Relative Market Power Hypothesis are few of hypotheses among others that try to conclude relationship between those variables. This research use commercial banks that operate and alredy give their financial report to Financial Service Authority (FSA) in 2018 as a sample. This study shows that Relative Market Power Hypothesis in Indonesian banking. It means that policies that support bank merger or acquisition is not suitable for Indonesia. Since banks gain their profit by offering diversified product. Keywords: market structure, structure conduct performance hypothesis, relative market power hypothesis.

Abstract

This study aims to test the influence of country of origin image and word of mouth on perceived quality. Then, the country of origin image and word of mouth and perceived quality on purchase intention of digital camera from Japan. The number of samples in this research are 230 respondents taken by purposive sampling method. Analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to test the hypothesis. The results of this study showed that country of origin image and word of mouth have a positive and significant effect on perceived quality. Then, Word of mouth and perceived quality have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention but a country of origin image has no significant effect on purchase intention.

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine how much-added value gained and how much cost needed in processing molasses into wine. The data was used two types of data, primary and secondary. The primary gained from direct observation and interview, while the secondary gained from related literature and agencies. We used a descriptive data processing method. Collected data and information then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Quantitative data used to analyzed cost and added value. In the processing of molasses into wine, the results show got Rp262.500.000,- turnover and Rp96.325.000,- total production cost so that we gained Rp166.175.000,- profit income with 2,73 R/C score. This result makes it economically profitable and worth to be done. The added value gained from each liter of molasses processed into wine is Rp.87.350-, also interpreted as 31,20% added value ratio. Abstract

This paper aims to confirm the existence of asset pricing model formulated by Fama and French (1996) by combining size, book to market equity (BE/ME) to risk premium (beta) in Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) that was formulated by Sharpe (1964), Lintner (1965), and Black (1972) then implement it on 45 companies in the real estate, property, and construction building sector in Indonesia Stock Excange in the period 2014-2017. The paper adapts the Fama and French methodology using size and book to market equity (BE/ME) sort then forms portfolios based on historical data of returns, market capitalization, and book value. This study uses time-series data that examines for 48 months. The proposed methodology offers investors the opportunity to construct portfolio management strategies optimally. Moreover, it gives a new insight to portfolio managers in order to increase stock returns by investing in small capitalization firms. The obtained results show that the explanatory power of the Fama-French three-factor model only works significantly on the risk premium (beta) and book to market equity (BE/ME) factors, but does not work on size factor. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the ability to compile finance report, motivation, and human resource competencies on the performance of SMEs. Respondents in the study used purposive sampling, with criteria for salty fish SMEs in Tanjung Binga Village, Belitung Regency, and at least the business had been operating for one year. The data analysis technique of this study used multiple linear regression analysis. This study found that the performance of SMEs influenced by the ability to compile the financial report, and human resource competencies. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the influence of product quality, price and competition on interest in buying Nadja Brown Sugar products. This research is a quantitative study using SPSS Statistics 22 program with a total sample of 120 respondents who are customers and consumers of Nadja Red Sugar in DKI Jakarta who have bought and used Nadja Brown Sugar as much as one or more times using non probability sampling and convenience sampling techniques . The results of this study show that the three variable variables that have no significant effect on buying interest The implications of this study can be a reference for business owners in formulating a strategy to increase interest in buying Nadja Red Sugar products related to product quality, price and competition.products related to product quality, price and competition. Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine whether financial information that is proxied by the current ratio, return on assets, and debt to equity ratio and non-financial information proxied by auditor reputation, percentage of stock offerings, company age, and government ownership affect initial return and stock return 7 days. The sample used in this study are companies that conduct initial public offerings on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2012 to 2016. The sampling method used was purposive sampling and the statistical method used is linear regression. The results of the study obtained the debt equity ratio, auditor reputation and company age negatively affected the initial return. The return of 7 days after the IPO is not influenced by financial and non-financial information, but the initial return affects the return of 7 days after the IPO in a positive direction. The purpose of this research is to know the methods of forecasting and inventory control methods is right that produces the lowest total cost with the number of requests and the optimal purchase frequency for medicinal products, vitamins and vaccines.
