Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence asset revaluation decisions. The sample in this study are all industrial companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 to 2016 except the banking industry with a purposive sampling technique. The method of analysis in this study uses partial least square. The results showed that investment opportunities represented by the book value of the asset market did not affect asset revaluation. Debt equity ratios, debt asset ratios, current ratios, and fast ratios do not affect asset revaluation. Request a quote, and total assets do not affect asset revaluation. However, only the ownership structure represented by foreign ownership can have a positive effect on asset revaluation. Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the Hootsuite (We are Social) Survey which revealed that there are 56% of Bank customers who use social media. This study aims to determine the use of social media marketing to brand trust and its impact on brand trust and customer loyalty. Data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to Islamic Bank customers. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that Social Media Marketing a positive and significant effect on brand trust. In addition, Brand Trust and Social Media Marketing partially have a positive and significant effect on Customer Loyalty. And, indirectly that Social Media Marketing towards Customer Loyalty is mediated by Brand Trust. Managerial implications were found in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand’s personality on purchase intention with Brand Trust as an Intervening Variable on Esgotado Bag. This research is quantitative using data collection methods of questionnaires and observations in stores and studios of Esgotado Bags. Data analysis techniques use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a data processing model. This research is expected to understand the influence of brand's personality on purchase intention with brand trust as an intervening variable. The result of this research is that Brand Personality has an effect on Buying Interest, Brand Trust Affects the Intention to Buy Esgotado’s bag, Brand’s Personality has no effect on Intention to Buy Esgotado’s bag. Abstract

This study aims to determine the integrity of students in avoiding internet plagiarism and how to strengthen the integrity of students in order to prepare and produce the next generation of quality nation. The number of respondents in the study was 10 seventh semester students with the selection of respondents that they had completed the assignment given by the lecturers. This study uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The results of the analysis show that in general student integrity is still low so it needs to be strengthened in terms of integrating education, law enforcement, infrastructure, involvement of university and faculty leaders, lecturers and administrative staff who support the anti-plagiarism environment that will create culture and awareness in each university residents especially students.

Abstract

This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive research which described reputation’s elements based on the concept from Urde and Greyser. The primary data collecting method was a semi-structured interview through a Focus Group Discussion with consumers, enriched with digital observation. The study results show that the efforts of Tokopedia.com’s MPR in maintaining brand reputation towards consumers’ view are the best compared to Lazada.co.id and Blibli.com as this company has the highest scores on almost reputation elements. The efforts of Lazada.co.id’s MPR as the first rank of best e-commerce companies in Indonesia is the weakest. It is recommended to increase the clarity in communicating all brands’ values through various organized MPR’s activities and to provide customer service for better interaction with consumers. Abstract

This study aims to prove the financial distress prediction model through the Z-Score (Altman) approach to financial performance. The number of samples is 21 retail trading companies listed on the Stock Exchange for five years with a purposive sampling technique. Research findings prove that financial performance can predict Financial Distress in the retail trade sector through Working Capital to Total Assets, Debt to Asset Ratio, and Return on Asset variables. The results of research for investors become one of the basic considerations for determining future stock investment decisions. In addition, the results of the study can provide an evaluation of the company's performance in maintaining the stability of business continuity in order to avoid financial distress. Abstract

Abstract This research is a literature review with the aim of producing a study of the results of previous studies related to social, economic, environmental and welfare of fishermen, especially in the bay area of ​​Jakarta. The results of the research carried out by previous researchers focused a lot on environmental issues, reclamation and a little discussion on social, economic, environmental and welfare issues of fishermen. The results of the literature review show the phenomenon of problems surrounding fishermen and their lives in the Jakarta Bay area which includes social, economic, environmental and welfare aspects. The results of the study indicate that the study has not been carried out comprehensively, integrated and sustainable and has not shown any impact from the results of previous studies. Research on literature review with the title of Socio-Economic and Fishermen's Welfare in the Jakarta Bay Area is focused more deeply by using exploratory research methods on the sample results of previous studies using secondary data in the period 2003-2018. This research literature review is expected to be a reference to improve the research framework that is more integrative, synergistic and sustainable so that it can answer existing problems. Abstract

The establishment of a company has a clear purpose. The company's goal is to achieve maximum profits and prosper the owner of the company or the shareholders (stockholders). One of the reasons why companies in Indonesia are vulnerable to economic turmoil is the weak implementation of good corporate governance. Good Corporate Governance (GCG) is basically a concept that concerns the company's structure, division of tasks, division of authority, division of responsibilities of each element of the company structure. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the female board of directors, the age of the board of directors, educational background of the board of directors, and the board of directors of foreign nationality towards the value of the company in LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. The research method used in this study is a hypothesis test that is to analyze the influence of the female board of directors, the age of the board of directors, the educational background of the board of directors, and the foreign board of directors of corporate value. Based on the data obtained, the results of the educational background variables of the Board of Directors and foreign board of directors influence the value of the company, while the variable of the board of directors of women and the age of the board of directors do not affect the value of the company. Abstract

Purpose- The purpose of this study was to determine the determinant factors of employee engagement in insurance companies. Design/methodology/approach- The population of the study amounted to 285 people with techniques to determine the number of samples using a purposive sampling technique of 109 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires with the analysis method used Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Findings- Based on the analysis found that management style has a positive effect on employee engagement, remuneration, the opportunity for skill enhancement, and the work environment does not affect employee engagement. Limitation- The study has several limitations, namely the scope of the study is still small so the number of samples used is small, as a result, the results of this the study can not be generalized, and the number of independent variables used in this study is only 4 variables, while many factors affect employee engagement. Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to analyze the financial performance of Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk before and after the acquisition using financial ratios, namely Cash Ratio, Net Profit Margin, Return On Equity, and Debt to Equity Ratio.. Design/methodology/approach- Financial data used for this research is from 2012 to 2018. The analysis is done by comparing the value of financial ratios before and after the acquisition with the value of industry standard financial ratios, and by comparing the average value of financial ratios before acquisition with the average value of financial ratios after acquisition. Findings- The results of industry standard analysis and comparative analysis before and after the acquisition show that financial performance measured through financial ratios decreases after acquisition Limitation- This research is inseparable from the limitations of time, funds, and theories controlled by the author. The company which is the object of research is Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through the Consolidated Financial Statement for the 2012-2018 period.
